Season Five is so funny for this. Jon is like nooooo I can't kill these people I'm enjoying it what does that say about me and Martin is like FUCK EM UP. I think they end up killing like three or four people as part of that. Very swag of them

One of them is an avatar of an eldricht god of fear, the other one serves a lonely god at some point. They try to be good but they actually did some terrible things. Jon ate some people's fear, re-opening their trauma. Martin is all about murdering the people who hurt them, once the apocalypse rolls around. They're canonically in love.

They literally bring the end of the world about, and Jon is the human embodiment of the fear of being watched. They also both have no concept of private property or privacy in general (they have broken into so many places). They also both share an affection for cows. They were living their best cottagecore life as the entire world was being thrown into a fear filled apocalypse that they caused.

For Edward Nygma and Oswald Cobblepot :

they ARE evil and they DO actually murder people together. and sometimes they try to kill each other. literally bonded over being murders when they first met. have done innumerable crimes since. gotham's worst on/off-couple.

The epitome of "the couple that kills together stays together" except that they are also often trying to kill each other. But that's just how love is sometimes. But yeah, Oswald confesses his love for Ed, except he also murdered Ed's girlfriend a little, then Ed tries to kill him, but then he hallucinates Oswald's ghost singing seductively to him because he's also definitely in love with him. They both do so much murder and they are both so in love with each other in such a messed up but ultimately devoted way; I genuinely think they are the most murderous and husbandly murder husbands out there. Plus they have all the delightful campy themed flair of Batman villains!

Goth x nerd couple except they're campy supervillains who like to spice their gay drama up with murder and they have soooo many issues. The spicing it up with murder includes both killing the other's partner out of jealousy and just trying to kill each other many MANY times. I wish the memory of this show was fresh enough in my mind to give you a breakdown of their relationship but alas. Anyway, these two are like the most iconic thing in this show for me, not only for their relationship but their personalities individually

HAHHAHA IT’S WORKING. I could talk about this all day but first of all, this:

Second of all: it is a show about two middle aged women, one of whom lost her job, the other whose husband left her, who take to each other like ducks to water. Like literally, one minute they’re meeting and then they’re making plans for weeks ahead when they’ll obviously still being hanging out because why wouldn’t they be? By episode two, they’ve got a gardening business and everyone thinks they’re gay.

They solve murders. Someone always gets killed at the house they’re gardening at, and they just jump right into solving it, no questions asked. They’re not police (although Laura used to be) they just do it because they’re busybody’s. I think in episode 2, Laura goes “this has nothing to do with us” and Rosemary goes “well if you’re going to take that attitude” and the subject is dropped.

Are they gay? Well canonically no, but canonically they always have separate beds in the same room. Every single time. In a way that feels very Hays code and statically insane. But anywho, they never deny that they’re lesbians, despite episode 2 being the gay denial episode where the creators decided they needed to convince people they weren’t making a gay show and failed spectacularly. No one even thought they were gay before. They did afterwards.

But now they’re not gay. And they are. Because Rosemary any Thyme, more than anything else for me, it is a beautiful example of platonic friendship and and a show that isn’t centered around romance and no one’s happy ending is a sweeping romance, their happy ending is life with each other.

Which is also why it’s the gayest gardening lesbian detective show you’ve ever seen . The two things exist in harmony in my brain. They are both equally true.

There is banter. It’s funny. It’s sweet. I want them to be me and all of my girlfriends when I grow up. The vibes are light and cozy and I started watching it for the first time at the beginning of September and I’m trying to hold myself back but I fear I just started my third rewatch.

would it even be me if I wasn't very late to the party

when did you join ? what made you join ? what do you remember from the plotlines that were current at the time ? where were you in life when you joined and where are you now ?

I believe it was the end of 2016, but I havent been able to find Lis original blog in a bit to double check. At the time I joined I hadn't roleplayed in forever, and was just getting over my first break up and needed a distraction. I had found chambord around before but never joined it. I believe I first saw chambord when I went back to an old rp blog and someone from that group had been using their blog for chambord. Even in Hshq i was not known for my consistency in activity but honestly this rp was the longest period I ever wrote anything. From highschool through university to now being almost done with my masters in a whole fucking continent is trully insane. This rp saw me through most of my 20's and the last of my teens. That's crazy.

which characters have you written over the years ?

Oh god, so fucking many. I know I will forget some. Lis will forever have a specially place in my heart. She went through so many changes but she was always a fucking mess and I love her for it. I'm not sure how long it would have taken all 3 of her iterations to be happy but she would be fighting tooth and nail the whole time against it I'm sure. You can not say she was not determined (to be fucking miserable).

I loved all of Lis's versions, and I tried to keep her core the same but I'm not sure if that sucessed. She came from very different backgrounds and was in so many different situations. I will never forget that original Arnauld murdered their parents in cold blood just for that crown.

Lisvent was so so fun and I was so happy when Hailee came up with him. As many have said in the past my like for Levente showed up to much in Lis by the end. I don't know if they would have found civility at any point, but maybe Lis would have grown cold and mean and meet him halfway. This Lis was much harder to write as sad and misserable because the spanish were such a - not functional maybe but loving family. It's hard to be the saddest gay when your sister loves you i guess?

The last Lis was probably the most deranged. I do not regret her though, but I think she had straid to much away from what Lis was at her core. She was older, and much more manipulative and I think i never quite got her right. but her and Stela were very fun while they lasted <3

Miray <3 my sweet. I do regreat I never finished her bad bitch transformation. But at least her and Hafiz made up and were happy by the end of their days together. Who would have through. I like to believe by now her and Layla would have made up too because anything else would be to painful. Daisuke is still on thin ice however. She will forever be Aslan's first born, and I think this fight at the end just shows that. She was finally rebeling against her real father.

A surprising third on this list perhaphs will be Arthur Sr. I know I never did much with him ( and I loved seeing C's take on him, she brought him to life in a way I never could.) but the english siblings plot, even if it has been over for a while specially for me, was one of my favorite things.

That brings us to Reha, who is 1000% living with Bruce's in his country house, she has sheep and has a long term lumberjane girlfriend. I will not take questions. I don't think she's talked with any of the siblings for a while, but maybe one day she will grow a spine and appolagise for all she did to all of them. Face her errors and all that.

Petro was a wild mess but I enjoyed my time with him. I will never forget the one word to one gif sibbling thread. I've said this in the fam chat already but Petro is a girlfather now, he co-parents with the mother but they're not together. I don't think he will ever grow up enough to be a good husband but I like to think he will be a good father at least. He may still be after claude or whatever name Inna has for him this week.

I would also like to talk about nic tho i don't know if anyone remembers him. He was very fun to play and I'm sad I never did more with him. The protest t-shirts are a fun memory.

There are a few others I never had much time to do much with, valentina, seonhye, Genoa, Ariel, a bodyguard from galicia, Rhea sister of Gaia not to be confused with Reha, probably more

I can't forget andrés in all this mess. Him and Lis are probably my most recognizable characters of hshq, Bandrés was so fun and I can't believe we started this with Dani being 5 years old and he's almost a teenager now. That's insane. There are a lot of inside jokes coming from Bandrés and ASS and I don't think I'll ever forget this ragtag team of MeanGirls wannabees (MeanCatalans). Thanks Evy for making Andrés so fun to play with both Barbie and Sergi, and thanks Dee for entertaining our crazy with Simó after so long of these two being unsupervised <3.

what is your favourite plotline that you've been part of ?

Probably Catalonia. It became such a big part of hshq and I enjoyed it very much. But I'll be honest - I was always a fan of making up the wildest craziest shit up possible but I rarely could make it to the end. So Catalonia was only my favorite cause Evy took it on and made something real of it. I was a very bad political player.

I really enjoyed the "Everyone hates Andrés" gag too. This man has had 2 friends his whole life and no one else can stand him.

All of the other plots mentioned above were so fun too however. I'm truly so grateful to everyone on this rp for putting up with my bullshit.

what about other people's plotlines ?

I loved all of Arnauld's shit tremendolessly and I'm forever in awe of Martha and her caraterization of him.

who is your favourite character from the ones you've played ? why ? what made you love them ? what made them so fun to write ?

I love all of them very differently. I think it would likely be a tie between Lis, Miray and Andrés. This will likely not surprise anyone as they are the i've played the longest. They were very fun to write because I could dip my foot in politics without having to be too involved. I think that was always my downfall in this rp - I was not good at the political plays.

if you could relive a plotline, which would it be ?

Early Bandrés fighting was so fun to write. They became so very friendly by the end (good for them of course but still). We tried to shake them up a little but never will quite be like those early Bandrés threads where they couldn't keep their hands off eachother, nor stop arguing.

is there a plotline that you'd edit now if you could ?

I don't think so. I would like to finish some things I never did but fully change something? I would have maybe made Lis 3.0 her own character so I could have explored her more mean spirited, manipulative vibes more.

what's a plotline you wish you would have been able to finish before closing or just write more of ?

I would have loved to give Miray a more finished storyline. Have her figure out her place in the family and the world in general. She was to immature by the end and too lost, I wish some of that had been fixed before I lost all my time with my masters.

what is your favourite ooc memory ?

I have so many. I enjoyed the group discord very much over the years. I also love the verb naomi'ed until the end of my days.

My favorite might be the day everyone posted voice posts of the characters names in the correct language- it was so fun to hear these characters names correctly!

There is so much of my growing up that is tied to this group. My mom knows about some of you guys. "I'm talking to my brasilian friend" "Oh I know someone who lives in Northern Europe"

The White Lotus: The Devil produces a series loaded-down with gay stereotypes

So I wasn't sure about the HBO Max series White Lotus, set in a beach resort in Italy.  But someone told me that there were gay characters in Season 2, so here goes, Episode 2.1:

Scene 1: A beach resort featuring bikini models sitting under umbrellas.  A woman with her breasts hanging out of her swimsuit starts a conversation with two women who just arrived from America.  She's leaving in a few hours, but she praises the hotel, the staff, the food, and the wine.  So she spent her entire trip on a beach that looks like every beach everywhere?  Why not try to actually see the country?  Her semi-bare butt goes into the water for one last swim -- and she bumps into a dead body!

Cut to hotel staff Rocco and Valencia watching body bags being hauled away.  Several bodies of guests have turned up!

Scene 2:  A week earlier.  Two heterosexual couples on a boat, one distant and arguing, the other snuggling, kissing, and nose-rubbing.  Then a depressed woman, Allora, walking through town.  Her friend Mia asks what's wrong: "Massimo has a new girlfriend, and I'm jealous."  Mia drags her away: it's almost time for the boat to arrive.  So is this a flashback in a flashback, before the girls get on the boat with the heterosexual couples?

A boat arriving while the staff waves.  "Smiles, everyone, smiles!'   Allora and Mia look on from afar, wondering whic one "he" is.  He who?  A new boyfriend met on Tinder?

Down on the dock, Employee Valencia tells the Old Guy: "I'm surprised you are here.  It's a long way from L.A., and you are quite old."  Way to insult your guests!  Next an unidentified older-younger same-sex couple; Cameron (Theo James, above) and wife, the kissing, nose-rubbing couple); Ethan (Will Sharpe, left) and wife, the distant, arguing couple (he forces her to drink wine); and a flowsy rich lady with a hundred suitcases, Ms. McQuaid. "I am your host, Mr. Roarke.  Welcome to Fantasy Island." 

Scene 3:  The White Lotus resort is in an  old hilltop convent, nowhere near the beach -- but with a view of Mount Etna. What kind of beachside resort is this, where you have to take a bus to get to the beach?

  Employee Rocco tells the two couples, who are apparently all friends, the story of the testi morti: a Moor came to Sicily and seduced a local woman.  When she discovered that he had a wife and kids back home, she cut off his head. It's a warning for husbands not to cheat. 

Then he shows  them that the two rooms connect through a secret doorway.  Ethan is up for wife-swapping, but his wife disapproves: "We won't be using that."  When the kissing, nose-rubbing couple leave, Ethan starts yelling at her.  Jerk! Not into it means not into it.

Meanwhile, the older-younger same-sex couple turn out to be father Dominic and young adult son Albie (Adam DiMarco), traveling with Grandpa Bert, who flirts with a female employee until the others reigns them in.  They're here to visit their ancestral town. 

So far the only potentially gay guest is Albie, so I'll fast-forward to his story.

Minute 24: Albie gets out of the pool (nice chest shot, but every other guy in the vicinity is fully clothed0.  He sits down next to Portia, a teenage girl who just got off the phone with a friend telling her to "get some dicks" while on vacation.  SHe starts crying because "they" have half a billion dollars but won't let her have any fun.  Albie consoles her.

Minute 46: They kiss.  Ok, so Albie is straight.  All of the other guests are married, hetero-horny, or both.  Who is the gay one?

Research reveals that he is Quentin, one of those aristocratic, decadent, fey Quentin Crisp types (parents don't know that their kid is gay when he is born, so why do gay guys on tv always have tired stereotype names, like Quentin and Blaine?).  This closeted jerk pays a group of straight men to have sex with him and introduces them as "my nephew and his friends."   He's also a drug addict and a murderer.  Pure homophobic sleaze.  

Wait -- I didn't notice before, but this series is created by, written by, and directed by MIKE WHITE, aka The Devil.  This is the jerk who wrote and starred in Chuck and Buck, about gay relationships being only for adolescents experimenting on their way to a "normal" heterosexual adulthood -- then had the monumental gall to advertise it in gay magazines!  Apparently those poor souls who get stuck in their adolescent "gay phase" turn into decadent, fey drug addicted murderers.

Arguments for an against watching How to Get Away with Murder

Asking the important questions: Is it worth watching 'How to get away with Murder'? all six seasons, episodes 45 mins, with give or take 16 episodes a pop?

That is a commitment, one I must think through before throwing myself into the abyss of clients, acquittals, feigned innocence and grisly, twisted guilt...

I have made it to season two of the saucy crime drama and have some following notes:

Legal concept of: 'Conflict of interest' does not exist in this dramatised world - representing a case in which your husband is a prime suspect and student's girlfriend is one too, is no issue in this series.

An excess of sexy sex, steamy kissing scenes. Additional points awarded for queer/gay representation.

On that note, diversity in the cast is present, so that's refreshing...

Annalise Keating is played by the admirable Viola Davis (who epitomises 'unapologetically fierce boss woman' and plays it really well)

Apparent convoluted plot line at times, so it can feel a bit of a drag

Affair central - everyone is having one, like its a biscuit or something.

Having a constant source of episodes to dip into as a 'go-to' is comforting in the age of indecision

The twists and turns kind of like a cheap thrill keeps me coming back.

Having separate court matters being played out interspersed with the 'convoluted plot line' makes it more bearable.

There might be Exile Tribe musicians who do have tattoos, but none I can think of at the moment. I don't think. I know he isn't an Exile man, but I know the musician Anarchy (who was 9 in H&L is obviously very covered in tattoos). But I'm not sure about the Exile Tribe yet though.

Those are the only two outcomes I could imagine for Cobra. Between the Nikka and her brothers owning their family's barber shop, Cobra's possibly able to get his hair done there. Or he dyes his own hair then. Unless you would want to be cute enough by having his girlfriend dye his hair sometimes, but only if she knows what she's doing though.

Obviously! Who wouldn't love Rocky... Rocky may have conservations with the women, he tips them well, and he would beat up anyone that mistreats the women. Unless there as some things I'm missing here.

Not only can't you just dye your hair without bleaching it first. If you'd dye your hair colors, not natural colors but colors (red, blue, pink, any colors), you can't just go from one color to the next because so many colors won't mix well if there is still some discoloration from previous colors. If some of the color is still in your hair anyway. I know Takeshi's hair isn't platinum blond like Rocky, or golden blond like Cobra, I have to say his hair is more of a honey blond to me. But still. His hair is very blond, too blond not to have been dyed. Maybe they steal hair dyes.

Really? I think Hiromi looks good with any style.. In my opinion. I have to say he does always look like a completely different person with any hairstyle. But I don't really think I have favorite styles for him though.

Well.. Yeah. That's true. The only why Yang could have possibly ended surviving was if he was critical injured, sent to the hospital, like being out of commission until the war was over. That situation. Something.

And that was another reason why some fans were complaining about the finale. Because they never killed the villains. But here is the thing.. I understand that characters like Choi, Yang and Lee would've killed a lot of the villainous characters - especially Myeong and Inbeom since they do deserve to die. But Gun and Jin have always been against the killings, the murders, situations involving death. They would not do it.

I was gonna to that too! Gun deserves every hug, every kiss, just any ounce of affection in his life. Those boys do deserve more affections.

So.. The money that Choi had in all, including the money Myeong did steal, was 84 billion dollars in gold bars. I forget how much one of the gold bars cost. I think millions. And each boy was given two gold bars at the end of the story. Enough to provide for their families and selves for the rest of their lives, for for quite some time anyway. There's that.

But I have Jin's reaction with money. If I see money, especially money that costs a lot - like millions and billions, I may have kept that money all for myself. But... I also respect Gunwoo's reasons for not taking the money, since Choi's last wish was to provide for people in need too.

The ending was a happy ending, minus Ju, for the characters that did survive by the end. And because of how the show ended... That would be why I don't know if the show would be continued with any seasons after this. I don't know. I haven't heard any confirmation or denial over anymore seasons. So who knows what might happen if they continue the show. And, if they don't continue Bloodhounds, I would really love to see these boys in more roles together. Especially since this a series like Bloodhounds just so happened to be Sangyi's first action role so I would love to see them in more action roles too. Along with any roles.

But yes! I mentioned that to you before. This is why these guys would be perfect husband material for me.. Not that I'm their type so I know nothing would ever happen. But besides them both being completely attractive. They're introverts, they're homebodies too. I'm an introvert who rarely likes leaving my house. I am not agoraphobic since people seem to think that. I just don't like interacting with people more than I have to. And! I don't know if you ever read their interviews. But I really have to say Doh-wan knows how to treat women in every relationship - especially romantic relationships. "Woo Do Hwan Claims He Treats His Girlfriends Like The Cherished Daughters Of Another Man." And, "Woo Do Hwan also revealed that he values manners in dating and that he considers them as daughters of another. I tend to be very mannerly when dating. No matter who I meet, I think of them as a precious daughter of another man. He then explained in detail what he's looking for in a girlfriend." That was an interview asking what his type of woman he's attracted to, and how he treats women he would be romantically involved with. What the fuck. This man is perfect for me. And! Not only could I imagine this with Doh-wan, but I could also imagine Gun-woo being this type of man too. Along with any sweeter characters that Doh-wan portrays in the roles he has ever done too.

Oh! About the exercise regime interview. They also mention methods for boxing, for their characters, about how their boxing methods have fit in with their character's personality. Like I mentioned before, Gun's an in box fighter (an aggressive close up fighter) while Jin's method is between an out box fighter (distance fighter) and southpaw fighter.

And before I forget. Yes.. Even though you only see Jin shirtless just a couple times after the time skip, they should have kept his scars even more defined though. The only time you would actually be able to see his scars is in the sunlight (like in the gifs I showed you). So I may just assume that since bars, clubs and even restaurants tend to have very dark lighting in their buildings.. I assume the lighting was too dark for people to see his scars. That's the only excuse I would accept for that.

I think guys would react that why, that they could emphasize in ways like this, is because they usually imagine their balls being crushed like that. I wouldn't be surprised if those reactions were real reactions in a situation like that. But yes.. I was also cheering Moon on for threating to crush the man's balls, I wish he'd still went through with the threat.

My characters would also cheer him on too, if they were not the ones to take that action into their own hands though. But he should do it.

Actually... Before I get into anything. I am going to tell you some trivia about the Korean military. Everyone knows Koreans actually have this mandatory military service compared to any other country, people do know this by now if you enjoy Korean celebrities - you probably would know that since Korean celebrities have military services too. But any mandatory military services are only for the Korean male populations, not the female population. Women would join the military voluntarily.

So you wouldn't have to add that into Da-min's backstory if you never wanted to. I thought I'd tell you in case you never even knew that fact.

But some of the backstory seems plausible. Because Mr. Oh was also a security guard back when Choi owned his loan shark business, but I guess he decided to stay with Choi after they shut the business down (and because of Choi's injures too). So they could have known both of their families for a long time, for as long as they have been friends like this. And Choi's so generous with his money towards people his cares for, so he could have gave Mr. Oh a decently sized paycheck any time he might have needed extra money.. Like how he was with Gun or Jin during their financial situations. So that wouldn't really surprise me.

Oh! Da-eun (the actress of Da-min) is actually born in 1994. She really seemed younger than that to me.. I mention this because Da-min was someone I imagined younger than Gun and Jin by a few years but not that much younger. Actually! Do Korean students start archery, in the high school or the college grades? And she seemed to be living alone. I know, I know.. The housing is different in Asian countries. So I might know about to comment about how she lives in that apartment alone before the boys lived there. I don't know. I'm still figuring things out.

Maybe, besides archery, she can learn out to use distance weapons if she has to protect herself or even anyone else from the main group.

Well... I still haven't figured out if I'm going to completely remove Ju's character from my story, or have new characters around the time she leaves (besides Da-min). This is why I have to read the webtoon story.

If your character does know how to ride a motorcycle. Then maybe I'd be able to imagine Yang, Lee and even Ju teaching her how to ride for bonding moments between those characters. I don't know. Since Lee and Yang already knew how to ride motorcycles in the younger years.

Whenever I do decide to rewatch All Of Us Are Dead, then I will really have let you know about things that I may have missed the first time I watched the show. I don't know when I'll watch the show though.

But! Maybe? I know a lot of the male actors were tall. Maybe that was why he didn't seem that tall to me? I don't know. But that would be an obvious reason. And, for me, most of the guys I know personally have been over six feet tall.. So tall people never faze me as a short person.

i know ryuto from generations has tattoos, and i think takahiro - who plays masaki - has a couple too. hiroomi has a couple iirc, and maybe elly does? so there’s a couple, but i think a lot of them are decently small and usually covered up.

it would’ve been nice if while they were at the hospital there was a scene of like yang being in surgery, in worse condition than jin. i would’ve liked him to survive.

i do wish myeong gil at least would’ve died, but it wouldn’t have been in character for gun to kill him, even as upset as he was. gun and jin aren’t killers like lee and yang. they’re good boys! they wanted myeong gil to pay for what he’d done, but they’re not killers. hell, you can see it at the end when gun gets so upset, he would’ve been way worse off if he’d killed myeong gil.

let gun and jin get kisses! and hugs! they deserve it!!

i think it was 500 million for each gold bar? or was it 500 million for two? so a decent amount for both of them that min beom was willing to cover. i bet gun would give the money to his mother again, or at least half of it like he did with his boxing winnings.

jin was really so excited about the money, but he was also on gun’s side about doing something that choi would’ve wanted. i hope they go get some rib eye since they were talking about it the whole season.

oh thank god. i nearly always forget about the mandatory military service in korea until it comes up and i haven’t read really anything about it. but at least now i dont have to plan for it for da min and bi.

i dont how much earlier the choi backstory was, so da min could’ve been born before or after choi closed his business. either way, choi probably met her when she was very young.

there were archers at the high school in all of us are dead, so i think some schools have archery clubs. maybe the more private, expensive ones. i imagine she did it in high school, maybe tried for the olympic team after she graduated, then eventually just went to go work for choi and put archery aside as a hobby until it gets serious with the loan sharks and all the big fights.

since bi’s dad taught her how to cook and trained her with knives and self-defence, lee can teach bi how to ride a motorcycle and slit people’s throats while riding. it’s fun uncle bonding time!

How to be the best Spree agent worst Spree agent… ever

A 101 guide by Scylla Ramshorn; Edit by Anacostia Quartermain

1. Find your target and befriend them. Know their weakness and exploit it.

Edit: Fall in love with your mark. Show everyone how whipped you are for her, and let them know how she’s your weakness—so much so that they use her in the end to break down your walls.

2. Disguise and discretion is everything. Have many faces ready to change into.

Edit: Change faces or use work out in the open, where literally anyone can see. Oh, and be careless while you’re at it. Examples: Stare at yourself in the mirror as you change faces in an enemy base, while waiting for your mark to show up at the last minute; Light up your face at an enemy base with guard patrols at the dead of night, or at a wedding event full of ‘enemies’; Talk to your boss on a public toilet without checking that everything is clear, then proceed to talk about your ‘nefarious’ plans about kidnapping someone (mention their name, too, by the way); Try to use working the moment you enter a Camarilla gathering.

3. Always be vigilant and be mindful of your surroundings. Be one step ahead of the enemy.

Edit: Be so clueless that you think you outsmarted your ‘enemy’ in letting you go after being captured, but you end up leading them straight to your headquarters. (Please also refer to previous guide and examples.)

4. Always be prepared for the worst and have a back up plan.

Edit: Charge head on without a plan and barely survive through the worst on pure luck and with the help of other better-prepared companions. Examples: Murder someone or make them commit suicide on broad daylight without so much as a cover up (and be saved by Spree cover up); Attend a Bellweather elite wedding event without invite (and get vouched for by girlfriend); Sneak up on a Camarilla member and end up being the one snuck up on (and be saved by Anacostia -_-); Enter a Camarilla facility through the front door (and be saved by Willa); Leave the door open as you try to go through enemy’s surveillance (and be saved by Willa… again).

5. Don’t blow your cover, no matter what.

Edit: When all else fails, use your real identity as a diversion even though the odds are against you. Confess you’re a witch (a Spree one, at that) and proceed to survive on pure luck… again. (You may also use this tactic to sass your interrogator when you’ve been captured. -_-)

6. Never reveal your emotions. Be stoic. Have self-control.

Edit: Freak out inwardly AND outwardly every time you did something dodgy and when you get caught (like when trying to lie to your girlfriend after you’ve indirectly killed your ex, or when making small talk after killing someone’s husband and getting caught exiting the house). And of course, gay panic every time you’re near the love of your life. Screw having no emotions. Give her heart eyes and make sure everyone sees how much of a simp you are. (Please refer to guide number 1.)

7. Keep your mind on the mission. No distractions.

Edit: Try to abort mission the moment you see your ex, who’s still the love of your life and still looking ever so gorgeous with her really cool hair. Examples: Stare at a picture of your ex and pine away even before the mission starts; Have flashbacks as you walk through the mall where you murdered civilians, and be so distracted with your feelings of remorse that you failed to see an ‘enemy’ spying on you until she showed herself on the podium -_-. (Please also refer to previous guide and examples.)

8. Don’t be suspicious. Know where to hide or flea, in case of worst case scenarios.

Edit: In the midst of chaos, stay and listen to your ex as she makes a speech mentioning you—all while hiding behind someone and looking suspicious as hell. Then after that, proceed to stare at each other for a second before disappearing. Oh, and leave a crumb (like a picture), just to affirm your being there.

9. Have sleight of hand. A skill in thievery might come in handy.

Edit: Be so obvious that you want to steal something by staring and pining at said object, and then get caught not even a minute after stealing it.

10. Be an adorable sass to manipulate people into loving you even though you’re a murderous and evil Spree agent.

W ell, that was that. Wouldn’t it be funny if Anacostia had actually been watching Scylla since the beginning and was witnessing all her epic fails as a Spree agent? Firstly, really sad that you had a bad week and am writing, so hopefully it improves

Representation in ADOW

Overall representation is decent, in my opinion. All the characters of colour have their own unique personalities, and identities, which I love. This is in both the book

But, let's get down to the nitty and gritty. Note: this is longer than I thought it would be lol but I hope you appreciate my thoughts.

Miriam's arc as being Matthew's protector has always irked me. I know that Bertrand asked her to, but I don't know why it's her responsibility to stop Matthew, a whole grown man, from making bad decisions. He got her husband killed because of his bad decisions. Also, in the books, Diana is straight-up disrespectful, as I explain in this post. As if Miriam isn't risking her life helping her. It's almost that trope of a brown female character being presented negatively in order to lift her white counterpart.

Emily Mather deserved to live. She was a badass witch, which I love, but something unsettling about her being sacrificed for the Bishops. But also, I want a whole book on her and Sarah. I want to know about her family's history because black witches in the USA and also, their descendant is a black gay woman who lives with her gay wife and rude cat, chilling.

Fernando. Sweet, Sweet Fernando makes very little sense to me. I get he has a kind and good nature, but he spends way too much time with the de Clermonts, helping clean up their mess. Let's not forget Philippe racistly didn't like him. I like to think that it's because he loves Gallowglass, his son, which he obviously does. But yeah.

Phoebe is such a cool character, as the first human, we see her interact with the de Clermonts. Not scared of any of those weirdos. I think I have said this before, but I don't like in the book, that her mother Padma, is given little to no identity but the agreeable wife. Like, I would have loved to see that scene where Padma and Phoebe talk about her marrying Marcus because her mother is an immigrant who moved to marry Edward. Also, I would have loved to know more about her heritage in the books, especially as Miriam makes a point to give her a non-western middle name because this girl is mixed race. The show does this slightly better, but I would have liked to see more development.

Nate and Agatha - a lovely mother and son duo and the show did they so much better than the book. Nate is such a good diversion from the many stereotypes of young black men in British TV - he is actively shown to be an emotional person, cares about everyone, very involved as a husband and father. Also, the way he supports Sophie, they were adorable in their little moments. Agatha is also brilliant, I love seeing her.

Chris is such a cool character because he straight up reminds Matthew that he has lived as a white man for the past 1500 years, so he has very little idea of the cruelty humans are capable of. Matthew was chilling with slave owners back in the day and has the audacity to yell at a brother from Alabama?? Lights him up in a few sentences. No notes and we love to see it.

Juliette deserved better than being manipulated and abused by a gross white man for another white man who just leaves her after using her to help him kill a group of black and brown people in NO (which always irked me because Matthew knows what it is to be manipulated by his father) then gets murdered brutally by his white girlfriend. How Tami Met Mickey

I really just wanted to write a headcanon of when Tami understood Mickey's existence since we were deprived of their interaction in the show okay bye

Tami was going to kill Lip. She was going to kill him and leave Fred on the dirty floor of the Gallagher house and she was going to disappear from their lives, head out west and hide out in a hair salon under a false identity, because Lip swore up and down Fred's teething ring was here somewhere and the kid was screaming his head off and had been for the last hour.

"Where the hell is it?" She whined, feeling like crying herself as she pushed aside random junk on the floor near where they sometimes set up the playpen. 

Mickey descended the stairs into the kitchen, still in his tank top and boxers even though it was well past noon. He grimaced at the sound of the crying baby. 

"Will you shut that kid up? Some of us are trying to sleep." 

Tami rolled her eyes, disrupting her search of the coffee table covered in crayons and paper. She loved Ian, she did, but she couldn't comprehend why the sweetest Gallagher had up and married this surly, foul mouthed convict. She chose to ignore him most of the time, especially after Lip told her he had been in for attempted murder of one of their family members.

"Believe me if I could I would but he's teething and I can't find his teething ring anywhere and Lip said it was here in this mess somewhere..." 

She was rambling, losing her sanity as Fred screamed louder and pulled a fist full of her blonde hair. Maybe Mickey could put her out of her misery since he apparently had no problem killing family members. Afraid to ask in case he took her seriously she shifted Fred to her other hip and pushed her fingers into the couch cushions, trying not to think of what they might come in contact with in the process.

Mickey watched the tall blonde with apathy as he chugged orange juice straight from the carton. He belched loudly and moved back out of sight, running some water and opening the refrigerator. A few more minutes of fruitless searching and Tami decided to give up. She turned to head to the backdoor only to find Mickey there, a wash cloth in hand. She watched, rapt, as Mickey pushed the chilled, damp cloth into Fred's open, wailing mouth, watched as her son clamped down immediately and began to suck. Her ears rang in the blissful silence and she stared at Mickey in awe. 

Mickey wasn't looking at her, he was cradling the back of Fred's head and running his thumb along his baby soft hair, a small almost sad smile on his face.

"How did you know to do that?" Tami couldn't help but ask. 

"My kid used to cry like that, had to keep this shit on standby for him, twenty-four seven."

Mickey seemed to come back to himself, dropping his hand from Fred's head and stepping back from mother and son. He was back up the stairs before Tami couldn't say anything.

Tami had stopped by too late to have breakfast with the Gallaghers, Lip giving her the extra hour of much needed sleep after Fred kept her up most of the night. She accepted Franny's hug around her knees and gave Fred a tickle and a kiss to the forehead. He smiled around his squishy teething ring and wiggled in the high chair. 

Debbie paused her cleaning to pull Tami's plate from the microwave and Tami decided to ask Debbie something that had been on her mind since yesterday.

"So, Mickey has a kid?"

Debbie looked up at her, face twisted in confusion, but she nodded. 

"Yeah, Yevgeny. Why?"

Tami didn't know how to answer that. Why did she want to know? Maybe it was because of the obvious.

"But…he's gay."

Debbie rolled her eyes.

"Gay people can have kids." She seethed, indicating to her own mini-me. She shoulder checked Tami on her way upstairs muttering bitch under her breath as she did so.

Fred had been just put down and Lip and Tami were laying in bed, trying to decide if they should use this opportunity to fuck or to sleep. Lip made the decision for them when he pulled off his shirt and rolled onto Tami.

They were kissing, hands roaming, but Tami's mind was on someone else entirely. The trail of kisses Lip was leaving down her body stopped as she asked him what had been on her mind.

"So, Mickey has a kid?" 

"Uhhh, yeah." Lip affirmed, looking up at Tami in confusion. "With a Russian hand-whore." He concluded with a light chuckle.

"What?!" Tami sat up, Lip further away from his destination. He sighed and joined her at the head of the bed. 

"You good Tamietti?" Lip asked as he watched his girlfriend's face pass through a range of emotions. She eventually shook her head. Lip licked his lips and leaned closer to her, keeping his voice low even though it was only the two of them.

"Look, it's a touchy subject for Ian and Mickey both. Broke Ian's heart to see him marry her. Then Ian stole the baby-"

"Wait wait wait." Tami interrupted, too loud considering their own sleeping baby was just one room over. "Mickey was married before? Ian stole a baby? What-"

"It's best if you don't know just...don't bring it up okay?"

Tami nodded, accepting a few more soft kisses from Lip before they both settled into bed and fell asleep while they had the chance.

Tami couldn't not bring it up, not when Ian was right there, bouncing Fred on his hip and making silly faces. Tami had to get to work but she could spare a moment to ask what had been eating away at her for a week now.

"Ian, can I ask you something about Mickey?"

Ian regarded her hesitantly but nodded. She let out a breath and resolved to satisfy her need to know once and for all.

"He has a kid. He's gay but he has a kid and used to be married to a woman? And you stole his baby? I mean, what is the story here?" She ended with a hysterical giggle, arms smacking against her thighs in exasperation.

Ian went paler than usual, his chin jutting out in a hard line. He stared at his nephew, watched his tiny fingers wrap around one of his own. Tami swallowed at the dark look on Ian's face, sudden regret for not following Lip's advice filling her.

"Back when we were kids Mickey's dad caught us. The homphobic prick beat Mickey bad and forced him to fuck a woman in front of me." Ian's voice was rough as sandpaper only making Tami feel worse.

"Mickey got her knocked up, married her, thought we could still bang in secret, but I took off. I came back and we tried to make it work but then I had a manic episode and took off with Yevgeny. I wanted him to be mine, be ours. My brain just ran away with the idea."

Tami's knees were weak and she backed herself into the nearest chair. She knew about Ian's disorder, but had never witnessed it, never heard them talk about it much at all, and she understood why looking at Ian now, seeing how much guilt and pain he internalized over what he did when he had no control. 

"Svetlana filed for divorce while Mickey was in prison, married some old rich bastard, and disappeared. Mickey's never tried to find them, don't think either of us deserve to at this point."

Ian sighed, finally looking Tami in the eye. She could only stare helplessly back in the wake of his words. Mickey wasn't just some convict Ian brought home after his stint in prison after all. Mouth dry she figured she had already dug herself this deep, what's a bit more.

"He really go to prison for trying to kill your sister?"

Ian made a face of knowing, standing taller and squaring his shoulders, jutting his chin even further in defence. 

"Yeah, he did." And with a bit of softening creeping into his hard features he whispered, "He did it for me. Because he loves me."

Tami left a few minutes later, assured by Ian he was fine to watch Fred until Lip came home. She totally cut a client's hair uneven as her mind drifted back to Mickey and what she now knew about the man before today. Turns out she knew jack shit.

Now she knew he was so much more.

Tami threw open the front door of the Gallagher home, Fred crying in her ear after refusing to take his afternoon nap. Two heads turned at the commotion. Quickly Ian halfway off the couch to rescue his brother's girlfriend. Tami ignored him entirely and dropped Fred in Mickey's lap.

"He needs some more of that Mickey magic." Tami explained as the husbands stared wide-eyed between mother, crying son, and each other.

She left them to take a much needed bathroom break. After she was done she grabbed a beer and leaned against the doorway, watching the way Fred squirmed in Mickey's arms as he held him close and rubbed his back. Ian watched the pair with adoration before looking up at Tami and mouthing a simple thank you.

And that's how Tami Tamietti met the real Mickey Milkovich.

Has "every kid is my child" energy.

Willing to do whatever it takes to protect her kids.

Cinnamon roll but could actually kill you.

Gives great hugs and will make you hot cocoa any time you want.

Willow Schnee - 6/10

"Wine Mom" in both energy and actuality.

Most likely to say: "I have a husband, but begrudgingly."

Probably would stab someone with a broken bottle with a smile on her face.

Put down the booze for good and I'll bump you to a 7.

Raven Banwen - 3/10

Yells "I DON'T HAVE ISSUES, YOU HAVE ISSUES" to her kid, but her kid’s issues are ACTUALLY her mom.

Looks like she will kill you and will actually kill you.

"Everybody gets one" energy.

The only reason you're not a 0 is because your VA is the best mom ever.

Kali Belladonna - 10/10

Only one of the main 4 who didn't abandon her kids, even if it was for a good reason.

Cinnamon roll but CAN & WILL actually kill you.

"I made you your favorite meal to help you relax" energy.

Probably said "Nya~" unironically at least once in her life.

Saphron Cotta-Arc - 8/10

More like an older sister than a mom, even to her kid.

Busts out the embarrassing pictures the moment company comes over.

When someone asks "Want some tea?" she goes "OH WORM, TEA!?"

Can and will steal your girlfriend energy.

Terra Cotta-Arc - 7/10

"I'll teach you how to steal a car, just don't steal MY car" energy.

Brings home the bacon & also knows how to cook the bacon.

Voted most likely to "accidentally" start a fight.

Laughs at her wife's jokes even though she doesn't fully understand them.

Glynda Goodwitch - 5/10

Everyone calls her "Karen" behind her back.

"Let me speak to your manager" energy.

Probably watches soap operas/dramas and complains that they aren't "realistic" enough, despite the world being ACTUALLY BONKERS.

If you ask her if she knows where her kids are, she'll respond "I don't have kids."

Looks like she can kill you and is probably planning to kill you right now.

Has pictures of her biological kids and stares at them longingly while actively yelling at her new adoptive kids.

Says "Mommy has business to attend to" and her business is JUST STRAIGHT UP MURDER.

Can and will step on you and you'd say "Thank you" while she does it.

All Faunus are her children & she can and will KILL for them.

Her subjects have accidentally called her "Mom" more than once & she thinks it's cute.

Not an actual mom but has MAD "Your daughter/son calls me mommy too" energy.

All the children of Mantle are her kids and she CAN AND WILL kill for them.

Smile that can be both calming and threatening, you never know which you'll get.
