“What do you mean?” She called out to the bandit, his teethy smile stretched over his burnt face like pearls shining out from a leather purse. He didn’t answer, walking down the spiral staircase in clomping steps, each reverberation shuttering against the rotten wood of the broken building. The lady snuck glimpses of him through the moonlit holes in the floor: she coiled to herself, froze, and then reanimated in swift pursuit.

“Are you insane!?” She questioned, high heeled stomping onto the rusted metal accentuated her disapproval. “Never saner!” Cilian answered with triumphant swinging of his arms as he reached the ground floor. She called out over the banister “You’ll be killed…” then swiftly vanishing and reappearing “or worse: tortured!”. “Can’t see how that’s worse if I’m still alive.” Cillian answered half inside a closet, with a tablecloth, wine glasses, and silver silverware.

The tablecloth flung into the air, spiraling down onto an out of place oaken table, creasing itself into a uniform pattern as a plate rolled and settled itself wobbling infront of a leather chair. A folded napkin plopped into formation on its right, as the heavens armed it with two sized forks and a knife threatening the now pacified saucer. Its twin mirrored it across the linen path, their emptiness broken by slices of bread and the space between them filled by a candelabra.

Soft champagne foamed over two tall thin glasses, their incontinent dripping falling away from the aerial placesetting onto the rotten floors. The Lady was offered, first her glass, then the chair. She gladly accepted both as the dexterity and gentlemanly behavior tore her thoughts of gruesome death only long enough for dinner to be set. Bruschetta, roast duck, garlic confit, and three-fourths of a warm baguette were available for her choosing. She spread the garlic confit over a toasted piece of bread, deeply bit into it, and as she opened her eyes from satisfaction she sputtered. “YCH CBNT DP THPT” she spat out with filled cheeks over the fine linen, crumbs spewing from her mouth.

whoever recommended “sincerely not” by @saintobio saying its a wholesome fic thats happy. count ur mf days. i feel like ive emptied all the tears in my body, im going to be mourning over this for the rest of my life. no other ff is comparable to it. it felt like my heart was ripped out every chapter, something would happen and the relationship would move backwords. ESP THE LAST CHAPTER I WAS RUINED. I spent 20 minutes trying to see if this was rlly the end. ( insaw the word “finale” and still searched i was grieving)

when i saw y/n got married to toji i was happy but it was more of a bitter happy. my heart feels empty💀🥲 i think i js lost myself and will defin go insane. where is the wholesome fanfic i was promised😔 this made me spiral uncontrollably, in circles and leaked litres of tears. i feel like ive js lost a piece of myself reading that. i cant go sleep bc of it, im mourning over a fanfiction☹️😐 and idec.

BD Franky is SUPER excited to be a dad, tells just about everyone he can, to include Marines and randos in passing - team too much

BD Law is fucking terrified inwardly - outwardly he's trying and failing to hold it together at the news

 BD Law doesn't have much faith in himself but the second his daughter is born promises to do whatever it takes for you and his baby and he means it

BD Law is stern as Hell with you and his (other) baby girl, but enough poking and prodding and he'll cave in to just about anything. Hint: weak to pouting

BD Law is v particular about what you and his pumpkin put into your bodies, demands the cook stick to specific food groups - lots of veggies and protein 

BD Law cherishes both of you. His greatest fear is losing his newfound family, but a small part of him thinks Corazon is protecting you both from beyond

Not sure were this energy to post stuff is coming from but here is another post🤗

In the scene in BD Pt2 where Carlisle is talking about the immortal children and the Volturi, I always wondered where the hell Alec was at. Im all thinking "damn the Volturi as always are just serving with their outfits except Alec". Until I rewatched that scene and for a couple of seconds you can in fact see Alec. Why couldn't they have him stand next to Jane?

Again the Volturi can just swoop in with style. We only get small scenes of them through out the saga and yet they got better style than everyone else🤭 (in my opinion). I wonder how they come up with there outfits though. Each outfit they wear is a representation of them in a way. I get it there like really old but I mean who tells them what's in style or not (they rarely go out and about but I can totally see Caius being in charge of the style because well he is a man of art after all). But they also coordinate in a way, the guards outfits have similarities yet they are still different.

Like look at my man and my casanova

Not sure what those things on Felix shoulders are but he is looking fine as always. Demetri as always as elegant, he knows he looks good. Like who gave these two permission to look this good, I just love this duo. Why do they need to look so good when they are about to execute someone (I mention this to a mutual but every time I see Felix execute someone he always does a face).

But Caius cannot be forgotten

I always say that him in gold is just 😍, but in red, fuck thats his color also. I just love Jamie in general, its funny how I forgot he was in Twilight, I was watching Stranger things (could not get my eyes of him to be honest, its the whole "I can fix him" mode instantly) and I was like hold up who is this beautiful man (I was right away finding out what other stuff he was in and saw he was in Twilight). He's one of the reasons how I started to get into this fandom (I remembered some bits and parts of the movies when they came out but I mean I was a child at the time).

A detail I wish they would’ve added in the bd pt2 movie is the fact that Bella could clearly see all of Jasper’s scars since her vision (all of her senses) were heightened, which is part of the reason vampires find him so intimidating

Akutagawa:

Orientation:|Gay, Demiromantic| Doesn’t get romantically attached to people, with a few notable exceptions. He has never looked upon a woman with lust in his life and genuinely doesn’t understand the appeal (lol). He does understands the appeal of men but his fear of physical vulnerability tends to negate him acting on it.

Higuchi:

Orientation: |Bi| The Akutagawa’s were her bi awakening.

Chuuya:

Orientation: |Gay| Exclusively likes men. He was self-conscious about it (possibly with some self-loathing) when he was younger but then he met Albatross and the Flags, and they assured him it was cool (half of them were queer anyway). Since then, he’s been secure in his identity, but keeps pretty quiet about it as he’s a very internally guarded person who likes to keep his personal life private. Still, he won’t compromise for others’ comfort and can be quite outspoken if somebody’s making unsavory remarks—regardless of if they’re directed at him or not.

*Chuuya has a soft spot for the younger queer kids in the mafia and tries to subtly wingman for them. He’s like a brother figure to a lot of them and is more than willing to talk with them about their identity or offer comfort, regardless of how close they might be. (yes, in his own way he’s trying to pay forward what the Flags did for him.)

Tachihara:

Orientation: |Queer(pan)| Had never really given sexuality much thought and just assumed he was straight—and then he met Gin and was like ‘oh, guess not’. Since then, he has been more in touch with his sense of attraction.

Gin:

Gender: |Genderfluid, Demigirl| Mostly use neutral forms of expression/address, however, for as much gender euphoria that causes, they do get a bit antsy if they haven’t been able to express either of the binaries for a while. Conveniently their work/life balance lets them express their gender with relative ease, presenting femininely (and using feminine or neutral pronouns, though feminine is more common) while off work—and conversely presenting masculinely/androgynously while a work (and using neutral and masculine pronouns, though neutral ones are generally preferred). She doesn’t tell many people about her gender and often lets them assume —usually enjoying the mixed results and ambiguity—unless they are very close with her (so the Black Lizards and her brother know).

Mori: (When I was writing this, I told myself I wasn’t going to touch this one, but then I stared at his hairline too long and realized he would be wilding more interesting—to me specifically—if he was ace, so-)

Orientation: |Asexual, Demiromantic| Fascinated with sex and human sexuality to an almost fetishistic degree and is more than willing to exploit/abuse those attachments in others—he likes to watch the fallout and sadistically enjoys the exertion of his power. He does, however rarely, feel romantic attraction. He’s had one(1) notable crush and its fucked with him ever since.

Kouyou:

Orientation: |Bisexual-sapphic| Despite (in the strictest sense of the term) being bi, she only entertains advances from women and will identify as lesbian if asked. She did have a notable romance with a man in her youth and while it was genuine attraction, it burned her forever—since then she has shunned the romantic advances of men. After that formative heartbreak all her entanglements have been sapphic in nature, but she’s still very wary of romance and ‘love’, so they have been few and far between; mostly consisting of short lived situationships.

What kind of protections are in place for workers who dont work in case of action from their employers? From an employer/employee side of things, what are the demands of this 'strike'? Considering this is 'global', what about ppl from countries without a strong union movement? I just worry this could hurt people who have good intentions. pt2/2

Each time Bisan call for global general strike or protest, especially since December 10, there have been these questions n discussions abt it.

The Way This Works:

Someone directly affected - A Palestinian reporter with platform (like Bisan) calls for way disrupt economy in any way + pressure + and bring attention to the specific atrocities happening, often while thinking they will die. -

Originally, the first Global Strike (December 12) was for nearby arab countries - then U.S., U.K., Canada, n some E.U. - then expanded. -

Jan 21 - 28 Strike was called for while Bisan was at the last fully functioning hospital, being bombed n raided. And the daily (non-missing known) death counts rising even more. -

Because of dire circumstance of the genocide - long-term years-long planning on global-level, is not possible. -

We have to adapt this into strategy. It is still called global n general strike, bc it involves multiple sectors n strategies (including disruptions to weapons, gas industry where it apply, boycotting + pressure based on 20+ years of BDS org, work, mutual aid /backup, food, whatevers). This is a difference in connotations between culture n language, that have to be accepted when dealing with cross-cultural activism. -

So for work-related and school-related strikes, will have to rely local grassroots orgs and chapters that specify local circumstance of what can be done as group in your area and what local goals should be - beyond the Global goals. They will also generally tell what the risks are involved. Of which when going through the links n researching further - when finding list protest or strike organizing in area, will usually find info of which chapter doing organizing or what location n when. Plus, work strikes are supposed be done in groups. When deciding what to do, people should actually look through the links and do research as have been provided. A USPC won't be same as a FOA, nor APC-UK, in their strategies n needs. -

If its not possible for someone to do work or school related strikes, especially with high risk to themself and not having a local group nor union - they should do something else on the list. or talking to co-workers about Palestine when possible, anything. The reason this so wide in options and accommodating to the people involved, is bc of having to do this so quick bc there no recourse otherwise. -

Besides this, it would be good for you to actively search for these discussions and the contexts. Since your asking this on the 4th or so global strike means you aren't familiar, but there are other infos + strategies + resources from previous strikes n protests that can be referenced. -

Am from "Third World" and the Western World (not inner colony) has a different view and history on global solidarity methods, of which the connotations is something am not going to be able to personally unpack, especially when just woke up.

So would, encourage finding Palestinian and Arabi activists on here that can more eloquently explain beyond what Magz have without being at-risk throwing up and fainting, etc. from mental cognitive strain from disability + language issues. As am acknowledge n aware of Magz limits in these discussion. Thank you, and good day.

バルクのBU40N UHDスリムドライブを買ってみた

DVDFabのUHDドライブツールのページ(https://dvdfab.org/uhd-drive-tool.htm?trackid=headmenu2,headmenu2)にUHD公式ドライブとして「LG BU40N」があり、Amazon.co.jpをふらふらしていたら「日立LGデータストレージ製 9.5mm BU40N ウルトラスリムUltra HD Blu-rayドライブ(https://amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07BSF41VW)」のバルクがあり、「もしかしてこのドライブでもいけるかな？」と思い、購入しました。発送地が海外のため、１週間くらい待たされました。

むき出しのままでは使えないので「ODDケース、FunienウルトラスリムポータブルUSB 3.0 SATA 9.5mm外付け光ディスクドライブケースボックス（PCラップトップノートブック用）(https://amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B09FF721XJ)」も買い、取り付けて試してみました。

まず今回購入したUHDドライブのファームウェアのバージョンは1.02でした。これを1.00にダウングレードしてコピーできるようにするわけですが、DVDFab UHDドライブツールで試したところ、進行状況を示す緑色のバーが真ん中らへんで止まってしまい、ファームウェアのダウングレードができませんでした。

それじゃってことでMakeMKVのフォーラムの「Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023(https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634)」からダウンロードした、ファームウェアをダウングレードするツールとファームウェアを利用して1.00にダウングレードすることに成功。

この状態でDVDFabを使ってUHDディスク(今回はトップガン マーヴェリック)のコピーを試したところ、うまくいきました。Passkeyでは試していませんが、多分大丈夫だと思います。

これでUHDディスクをコピーできるドライブが5台(うち、1台はPasskeyじゃないとダメ)になりました。こんなに持っててどうするんだという気もしますが、入手ができなくなってから貴重性が上がるのはPT2/PT3で示されているので、多少多くても持っていていいのではないかと思います。

今のところ、簡単にUHDコピードライブを手にするには「Archgon USB 3.1外付けCD/DVD/Blu-ray/UHDドライブUltra HD 4K コンテンツUHD BD 再生対応 ブルーレイ ドライブ アルミ製筐体 ポータブル 保護ケース付きWindows/Mac 両対応 USB-A, USB-C ケーブル両方付属されています (Style UHD HLDS BU40N USB A + USB C ケーブル, ブラック)(https://amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07BK8NH9L)」を買ってきて、上記のMakeMKVのフォーラムにあるダウングレードツールを使ってファームウェアをダウングレードするのが一番簡単な方法かと思います。私の環境でDVDFabのUHDドライブツールでファームウェアのダウングレードに成功したのは1回くらいだと思うので、MakeMKVのフォーラムにあるツールを使った方がいいと思います。

余談ですが、去年くらいに2，3台デスクトップ用の対応しているというドライブを買ってファームウェアをダウングレード、UHDのコピーができるか試したことがありますが、LG、ASUSのどちらもダメでした(それ以前にLGやASUSのドライブをデスクトップPCに組み込みたいかという話もありますが)。上記の外付けスリムドライブを買ってファームウェアのダウングレードをするのが一番無難かなと思います。
