ok i’m doing my best friend bc i went to her house twice today lol

she always sets such impossible and high and and vague  and unrealistic goals for herself and i wish she wouldn’t because she couldn’t possibly have achieved them and when she doesn’t she feels like a failure and people around her shame her, mostly her mom. but she’s pretty content most of the time. we make each other laugh like hyena-pig hybrids. she’s really good at baking (both food and makeup).

i feel like as a woman of color everything you do and are is scrutinized and criticized and judged, so one of the biggest choices we face is whether to use that or not.

tattoos: how do you feel about tattoos and piercings? explain.

i have my ears pierced (one in each lobe) but i’d like to get another higher lobe piercing in each ear. nothing in the cartilage though, i heard those can get infected easily and i was really bad at cleaning my first piercings. i might get some small tattoos later, probably simple and easily hidden.

piercings: do you wear a lot of makeup? why/why not?

i usually fill in my brows softly and use some concealer and set with translucent powder and setting spray. i use highlighter, lipstick, bronzer, mascara, and liquid eyeliner sometimes (from most to least often). i used to wear concealer and fill in my brows bc i was insecure but now i mostly do it bc i feel like it

love: have you ever fallen in love? describe what it feels like to realise you’re in love.

i have a roundish/squarish face so i think really short hair might make me look even more like a ten year old but maybe yeah
