Yeah, I respectfully disagree. Striker was not trying to offer Blitzø a better life in any way at all. He was trying to manipulate him onto his side so he could kill Stolas without him getting in the way. He doesn’t care about him, not at all. And for Stolitz relationship, Stolas never does anything without consent. There is always consent and is not toxic. It would be toxic if Blitzø was forced into this, but he is not. We also see Stolas and Blitzø caring for each other on the canon character instagram posts, where they worry bout each other and take care of each other when they are sick or hurt. Seems pretty nice to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ok, get this, I know that ive been on this for a while now but I was looking through the latest episode today for future posts and after rewatching a few scenes... im sad now :(

Specifically with the lost potential of Striker and Blitzo.

These two got some enemies to lovers thing going on and Blitzo actually seems to like striker, Striker even says that he is impressed with Blitzo's abilities and they seemed to even like eachother's company at first even. And then they're not going to be canon but the "couple" with Blitzo being forced into blackmail somehow is meant to be the MAIN romance of the show? Yes, its still pretty toxic for the time being but there is SO MUCH MORE room here for development, rather than a one sided relationship where Blitzo keeps being used like a sex doll like with Stolas and Blitzo's "romantic" blackmail.

Striker actually offers to get Blitzo out of this abusive relationship so they could get the book together and rebel against the system that has discriminated and enslaved them. There's actual romantic tension and there's SO much room for development here and yet the series keeps trying to force the narrative rather than actually doing romance naturally.

THERES ACTUAL ROMANTIC TENSION HERE.

BLITZO ACTUALLY SEEMS TO ENJOY STRIKER FOR A MOMENT.

Blitzo is for once shown to have someone who can have equal power dynamics rather than there being a unhealthy hierarchy power dynamic such as with Stolas. They're both strong no-nonsense talking imps with the strength of an ox. An EQUAL power dynamic.

And yeah, Striker is a piece of shit to Moxxie which.... I hated.

But at LEAST he does sort of seem to slightly care for Blitzo (even if it isnt the best direction since he only wants revenge) and there's actual room for development and even a potential relationship.

This is by far, the MOST romantic tension that ive seen Blitzo have with anyone in the entire franchise, even more than most even with the only ones ever having more tension being M & M since theyre already a couple... but other than that Striker and Blitzo have so much potential it almost even hurts! There's that much tension!

But then we're forced to have to root for a fruitless relationship filled with racial classism where neither side is shown to like each other whatsoever with Stolas only wanting Blitzo for sex with absolutely no hint of actually wanting otherwise.

They had so many chances to hint at anything showing that Stolas could "secretly" care about him, but the more episodes pass the more Stolas treats him even MORE like a pet rather than a person.

What? You just expect him to magically care even after FIVE episodes worth of story has no happened with no hint of actual affection whatsoever? That's not how life works, you cant change someone unless they themselves actually want to change!

Striker at least wanted to give Blitzo a better life, and even if it was flawed due to his villanous nature.... an effort was made!

Stolas makes NO effort and only inconveniences Blitzo further by forcing him into blackmail in order to keep his business (Something Striker himself actually acknowledges!) and yet Vivziepop might call Stolas and Blitzo a "romance" constantly due to fan reception from the fanbase but... show dont tell! If Stolas is supposed to "secretly like" blitzo they would have shown this a looooooong time ago and yet the writers still expect for us to root for this disaster of a relationship? It feels so pointlessly contrived when they have a potential enemies to lovers relationship right there. They are just pushing for all of these extremely toxic power dynamics just to please a romance... that doesnt exist! Meanwhile anything even potentially decent get's rejected immediately for rushed fanservice and nothing else just because... people find Stolas to be more hot?

It's like, they want us to feel bad for Stolas but then at the SAME exact time make him to be even worse than he ever has been before but yet.... Striker is the bad guy for wanting to save his people from government brutality and racial discrimination?

Who are we actually supposed to be rooting for here??????

Thomas would do some dad-bonding with Skimbles and Munk (and Alonzo, who sticks to Munk like glue). He would be fascinated with their family dynamic because, having lived on the streets, he never encountered such a warm, friendly and family-driven tribe.
