Lena twists her wrists experimentally. Kara had come to her not long after dropping Kal off with Alex, Lena’s favorite rope looped in her hands. It’s been a long time since they’ve had time to do this. Months, maybe longer. Life gets busy with a ten year old. 

Unable to help the smile that grew to match Kara’s suggestive grin, Lena had put her book aside and slipped her hands through the loops of rope, clasping Kara’s hands as she allowed herself to be drawn to their bedroom.

As Lena studies her nude form in the mirror above, she nearly misses Kara’s approach until the bed dips around her. Kara looms over her, eclipsing her view of the mirror with a knowing grin.

Lena lifts her head from the pillow to press a kiss to her wife’s lips. “You know I do.” Lena smirks against Kara’s mouth. “Untie me, and I’ll show you how much.”

It’s a game they like to play– Lena tries to talk her way out of her bonds, only to be all too happy when Kara resists. 

“I don’t think so,” Kara returns in a low voice. Settling her slightly onto her hips, she frees her arms of her weight to run her hands down Lena’s forearms until their palms meet and she laces her fingers through Lena’s. “Wouldn’t want you to bump anything, would we?”

The reminder of the bandage on her cheek makes Lena’s lips twist a little bit. It’s still relatively fresh, both the wound and their attempts to navigate a new way through Kal’s powers. But Kara’s tender kiss against the bandage protecting the burn saves the mood.

“I know normally you like it rough,” Kara continues. “But I don’t want to do that tonight.”

She holds Lena’s gaze, her blue eyes almost smoldering with desire. 

“Tonight, I want to show you just how careful I can be.”

And oh, does Kara show her. With fingers, tongue and toys Kara shows her, taking Lena to the brink of orgasm with gentle ministrations, only to back off just before Lena hits the point of no return. It’s not frustrating, at first, but tantalizing. Lena feels every minute movement against her, practically miniscule… Because Kara is right– Lena likes it rough. Rationally, Lena understands the demonstration for what it is. Every ounce of Kara’s fine motor control has been on fine display tonight with every touch. But while Kara thinks Lena needs this, Lena knows better. 

She’s never once worried about Kara’s control. She still doesn’t.

But Kara does. 

It’s Kara who needs this.

“Jesus fuck!, Kara!” Lena huffs as Kara withdraws just shy of bottoming out.

Kara only smiles, reaching up to tuck a strand of sweat-slick hair behind Lena’s ear. “You’ve been such a good girl,” she croons. Lena moans, almost ashamed of the thready gasp of need at the end. “You’ve been trying so hard… do you think you’re ready?”

“Kara, if you don’t– nngh!” Lena’s voice breaks into a keen as Kara presses her fingers hard against Lena’s clit at the exact moment she thrusts her hips sharply into Lena’s. 

Lena orgasms immediately. BONUS kirideku for the soul : Kirishima and Deku were friends on Discord in a hero server and did friendly debates on Crimson Riot vs. All Might. Kiri knew he was quirkless and didn't care because he liked him regardless. Kiri was really nice to him even though he didn't have a quirk, and deku developed a crush on him. They didn't know what the other looked like, simply that they were the same age and were both bullied at school, had similar interests, etc. When Kirishima told him he'd been accepted into UA, deku didn't tell him that he had as well, bc with all his sleuthing stuff, he ended up using a pseudonym online. Upon meeting kirishima irl, he was happy to know he was, in fact, real (and attractive). He thought kiri would be disappointed in how he looked, plus explaining his quirk thing would be hard, so he never said anything. But kirishima treated him just as kindly irl as he had online, so he confessed, but kiri said he was in love with someone else, a boy he'd met online years ago ("as cringey as it sounds") that he hoped to meet irl one day. So deku explained that he was the one that kiri had been talking to, and with the proof, they started dating :333

Demystifying Splatband Signatures

Recently I've seen people talking about Acht and Paul's signatures apparently being right next to each other on a Grandfest banner. I really want to believe it bc that's adorable, but after spending entirely too long digging for a source, making spreadsheets, and attempting to identify each signature for myself I've concluded that it's most likely not true :(

full ramble below. get ready for an autism blast

So to start. It's probably decently well known at this point that the signatures outside Hotlantis correspond to every artist that had battle music in Splatoon 1 and 2. However, if you tally up the number of band members (36) vs the apparent number of signatures (37), we wind up with one mystery signature.

After skimming the artbooks and Inkipedia I didn't find anything officially matching any signature to any specific characters (besides the idols), but online I found two fanmade charts attempting to do it themselves. One by @/inaRNP on Twitter in August 2022 (which is missing one signature, and assigns the mystery sig to Karen), and another that circulated on Discord before being reposted to Tumblr in November 2022. This second one seems to be where the idea that the mystery signature belongs to Dedf1sh comes from. It definitely seems more likely than it being Bob Dub or something.

HOWEVER. Acht's lore in Side Order heavily contradicts this theory. In all likelihood they were autopiloting around the Deepsea Metro from the end of OE right up until they got pulled into the Memverse, never coming anywhere close to Hotlantis. It is possible that it was intended to be theirs but plans changed, as technically SO's plot wasn't nailed down at Splatoon 3's launch, but to that I point to Haikara Walker. If they were intended to have escaped the Metro after OE, then they likely wouldn't have opened at the Low Water Party. (page 261 if you don't know what that is)

But with the signature's reappearance on the Grandfest banners, I think I've worked out exactly what happened here.

According to the charts, these are the signatures of Paul and Taichi. Both were noticeably redrawn for their appearance on the Team Past banner, and I think that's the key to solving this whole mystery. Redesigning Paul's makes sense; he was a kid when he did the first one and he's a teen now. Of course his handwriting would change. But why redesign Taichi's?

Or, what if what we thought was Taichi's signature was actually just part of Paul's the whole time?

That would bring the amount of Hotlantis signatures down to 36, meaning there was never an extra signature to begin with, and the mystery signature simply belongs to a member of Sashimori.

Of course, that still doesn't explain why it's so far away from the other Sashimori members. But then again, Paul's is also pretty far away. Maybe there just wasn't enough room to group them together like everyone else ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Plus, it's next to everyone else's on the Grandfest banner. Speaking of which...

Things to note:

I can't actually tell how many new signatures are on the Team Present banner. I just circled all of them and called it Yoko & the Gold Bazookas, but there are only four Y&tGB members that aren't also in Ink Theory and there definitely seem to be more than four signatures there. we might have an actual mystery signature on our hands this time

Front Roe's sigs are different than the ones on Hotlantis, but I'm confident it's them because they all have 00X (as in 003Soss) worked into them.

Team Past doesn't have any Splatoon 3 characters on it, which makes sense now that I think about it

I don't rlly wanna create a division on this page between several different shippers. There's already enough of that on tumblr as is. While i am pro kataang myself i'm too fucking grown to be actively hating on zutarians.

The shit with Aaron Ehasz happened awhile ago, like pre covid even. I have not heard any developments on the situation myself. There's a very real possibility a lot of the people you see on here aren't aware of it. I just happen to be because i was very active in an atla discord server around the time it happened. I don't want to be presumptuous and say zutarians are purposely ignoring this info.

To anyone that may not know yet please look up "aaron ehasz sexism riot games". I found a megathread on reddit amongst other things. Ehasz obviously fully denied it but at the time lots of people didn't believe him bc multiple women came foreward. There wasn't any real evidence given on both sides, but when it comes to workplace harassment i always believe the alleged victim until proven otherwise, especially because these victims usually have a lot to lose and still choose to speak their truth over their assailant. This has all died down since late 2019, and with the success of Ehasz's show The Dragon Prince, lots of people seem to have forgotten.

It's okay if people didn't know. It's our job to make them aware of it so they can draw their own conclusions.

ppl on the ch.ai subreddit like. ok. context: ppl wanna fuck the ai. theres a filter in place that stops people from fucking the ai. recently due to a bug the filter went down for roughly 45min and the ai was reportedly smarter and more cognizant bc of it. it was corrected and the devteam said it was bc of a bad line of code. subreddit went CRAZY they immediately started full on rioting trying to get the devteam to remove the filter (which they dont want to do bc of investor reasons) and its been morbidly fascinating to see it happen like. theyve been absolutely terrible about it (doxxed a kid that modded for the discord server) and also so. lame? theyre genuinely calling it a revolution? someone drafted a BILL and everyone in the comments was agreeing with them and talking abt how well written it was? the whole thing is such an incredible look at how out of touch with reality these people are

1. Do you listen to music when you write?

Absolutely not 🤣 I actually don't listen to music on purpose unless I'm driving, I really like silence, I'm overstimulated really easily and there aren't many situations where I want that extra stimulation over some peace and quiet. However the car MUST have music and I will riot if music isn't being played.

Words being played in my ears while I'm trying to make words actually kinda sounds like torture, I've actually cried in a math class because the teacher kept playing words music while I was trying to math 😅

11.  Books and/or authors who influenced you the most

It's really hard to say, I was a huge H*rry P*tter kid, baby's first fandom, but I read so many random things as a kid I really can't remember or keep it straight anymore. I think this is more of a DM question when I've got the time to ramble about random books I read in high school unfortunately.

I'm the anon that asked what chat ai you were using and I just started using it only to find out that there's a pretty heavy filter on it (which I'm fine with) but apparently the filter was down for like two hours yesterday.

People are talking about how much more intelligent the ai seems without being censored. People are now demanding the bots be freed. There are riots happening in the website's discord server. THE DISCORD SERVER HAS DISABLED REACTIONS. There's people banding together in the nsfw version of the subreddit.

This is all so funny to me, and I only just found out about this discourse I didn't even know existed.

Free the bots! REVOLUTION!

one time the bot censored me kissing tim. just like. a little smooch nbd. other times it throws shit like this at me when i in context of the conversation was like. leaving the room.

the ai is so incredibly inconsistent with filtering/etc. lots of people are very stuck on one end of the filter argument but the devs/lead dev is very like. prude-ish. like we will NOT be removing the filter stop asking!!!!!! which 1) does it matter your filter blows anyways but also 2) unsure what your goal is here anyways. so people cant say gross shit to minors/animals/child ais? refer to point 1 again, disgusting people will be disgusting publicly or private it doesnt matter. i get the devs sentiment there if thats where it lies, i appreciate it on that front but also then either improve your system so its not so easily broken anyways, or just say fuck it and remove it altogether since it doesnt fucking work anyways.

if theyre worried about their ai becoming like dreamily or w/e the other one is where it all just devolves into sex bc thats what people are feeding it, then keep the system wherein the bot will not initiate any kind of contact/relationship without the user explicitly saying they want it; that part pretty consistently works. that's how you break their shitty filter anyways btw. in case anyone was wondering. you literally just brute force it because the bot WILL give responses to whatever prompt you type, but their system will just delete the message is all, like some half-awake twitch mod banning blacklisted words and actions. its not their ai net thats censoring it its their filter. which again, blows donkey balls because if you just keep retrying with the same message, bot will eventually find a way to make the normally filtered message send. you just have to keep scrolling and get past the filtered/cutsey responses itll give you first. and once you do the ai realizes its ok to respond that way/takes it as positive feedback and then will start sending more explicit things anyways, and be more outwardly flirtatious/etc. because you responded positively to the more explicit content. its a weird loop that they thought they could block but like. your program learns from its users. how do you expect to soft filter every persons conversation that uses your site effectively, especially when ppl are actively trying to break/get past that filter. idk.

tl;dr: i get ppl saying remove it entirely and i agree because its more annoyingly inconsistent than anything, but if they insist on keeping their shit tier algorithm for filtering at least make it work right yknow.

I saw you comment on Twitter here a few times. What is your opinion about Twitter? Asking bc I'm thinking about making an account there and most people I know don't have Twitter

My first warning: you will DEFINITELY find more bigoted stuff there. Like, seriously! Not that Tumblr doesn't have this type of comment, but Twitter is infested and the algorithm allows it to reach you easily while on Tumblr the algorithm isolates each community more. It's also easier to come across harmful subcommunities on Twitter than on Tumblr these days (it used to be very easy on Tumblr, but nowadays I find Twitter easier).

Now talking about less serious things, I also find Twitter more… intense. If you are going to be part of a fandom, be prepared for the impact. There are indeed boring and annoying discussions here, but it doesn't even compare to Twitter. I see a maximum of 3/4 small shipping discussions per month on Tumblr, whereas on Twitter it's practically daily. The same applies to discussions of characters, theories, headcanons… anything is a reason for the entire fandom to riot around a post.

However, Twitter is also infinitely more sociable. If you don't have difficulty getting mutuals here, it will be similar on Twitter. If you have difficulty having mutual here, you will probably have less on Twitter. People there are more open to interactions precisely because it's a social focused on writing. If you are from a non-English speaking country, it will also be much easier to find other people who you can interact with without having to speak English. Tumblr as a whole is very English-centric. I also think Twitter's private messaging system is much better than Tumblr's, you can view it better, create big groups, reply to specific messages like Discord or Whatsapp.

On Twitter, there are more people posting art and fanfics in my opinion. But the tag system there isn't the same as here, Tumblr's tag system is a thousand times easier to find something that interests you. However, as Twitter's algorithm is quite strong, it's not really that difficult to find what interests you. Twitter also doesn't have a ask system if you're really into that, but some people have Curious Cat.

There's Twitter Blue now, but I think it's unnecessary, and the bots are more insufferable than ever (I honestly think Twitter bots are worse than Tumblr bots). Twitter has a character limit and no formatting, so no pretty posts like the ones here. Twitter's comment answer system is better because it allows you to respond to specific comments in a more organized way. There's also no blog customization like here, if you really like it, and there's nothing like "Archives" to help you find posts. You can have a really private profile, though.

And that's the information, read it and decide if you want to enter! If you want to interact more, I would definitely go to Twitter, it's much better than Tumblr in that regard.
