1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

I was trying to capture Arthur as a character if he had grown up genuinly loved. If ya think about it, Arthur is a pretty affectionate guy ! He's almost fanatically loyal to Jeremiah and the Vatican by extention, and clearly wants to have friendships & bonds with people.

It would be cool to see how his personality developed if he got to develope all this by himself without any manipulation. That's also why he's so overprotective in the fic acctualy ! He's still the same brand of loyal and trusting as in canon, just this time it's to his friends and family and not the Vatican. He's also just as obsessive, but this time it's not with being a good exorcist/being a "knight in shinning armour" but with being a good brother and keeping those he loves safe !

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

In the original fic ? "......... I won't allow them to pay for crimes they didn't commit. Even if I have to go against the entier order to do so." From chapter 2. This line is said by Arthur after he found out about the twin's father. I like it bc this shows the diffrences between canon and big bro Arthur really well. Also establishes that Arthur is loyal to people rather than institutions in this fic. If we talk abt the rewritte- the line has yet to be written and published 😅

5: What part was hardest to write?

Nothing rly, it all came to me pretty easily. But if I had to say one thing I'd say that I struggled quite a bit with the start of chapter 7 of the OG fic. Restarted that one quite a bit.

10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

I don't rly have any pairing for the fic in the romantic sense, as for the reason why I wrote it with an focus on Arthur & Rin ? They are my favs and I think they make a fun pair. I do plan on AngelLight happning in the rewritte tho (once I get off my hiatus) since I just like the ship. The two are cute together and Lewin is the best ship for Arthur imo.

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn’t listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?

I don't rly listen to music to get into the mood for it tbh. I mostly write in short and inconsistent burst of inspiration or inclination to write smth about it. Literary analysis, by its very nature, is subjective. This is a false dichotomy and you know it.

Hi, literally got my degree in literary analysis and now teach/tutor in it for a Living, maybe it didn't click for you the first time but there is 100% a difference between "I'm evaluating something entirely on how it makes me feel" (which is entirely subjective) VS "I'm critically analyzing how a piece of fiction is put together and works regardless of how it makes me feel" which is subjective in its interpretations, yes, but there is an objective ground work that exists for every piece of Art or Literature (the "ur textual" foundation if you will, which yes, "ur text" is the term, it does sound very silly) that provides the basis for analysis in the first place.

If nothing about an artistic interpretation, even reading/watching the work itself as a process, is objective than no art can be analyzed in the first place. It was one of the first things we talked about in my narrative theory analysis courses

The example I always go back to is my experience in reading "1984" when I was in high school. Hated that fucking book. I hated all the main characters, I was rooting for them to get captured and tortured just so the book would end, I have no plans to ever read it again, etc. It was one of the best books I've ever read and I am infinitely grateful that I did read it bc 1) I learned a lot, 2) it has a lot of interesting discussions on the nature of language itself (which makes me think of "Fugitive Pieces" by Anne Michaels, which is also excellent) and 3) it's a fucking good, not enjoyable, book.

It's like I said in my own more recent posts and in others about leaving biases at the door to engage with what a story is actually Trying to Do. I'm staunchly against monarchy. If I brought my "we should abolish the monarchy" stance into TDP (when many kings and queens are also characters of colour for once) that would mean I'm focusing on how I think the story should be and dragging it for not doing what I believe and/or expect, rather than engaging with what the story Actually wants to say about monarchy, government, and leadership.

It's also just dumb to expect every story to explore a theme in the same manner every time? I explain it to my students a lot in terms of broad theme, like Love, but what matters is the specificity, i.e. Love as a theme in "Midsummer Night's Dream" vs "Romeo and Juliet" have overlap, 100%, but ultimately their thematic stance on Love is what determines the tonal and thematic culminations of their very different genres and explorations of a similar theme

As I said in my big post, if someone actually wants to critique S4 on a structural level and show me, beat-for-beat, how that structure is vastly different than the other seasons in execution, I'd be very interesting in reading it. I love that sort of thing and I like to think through all the angles. But thus far it doesn't exist and I think it would be a very hard meta to write, simply because there is more structural evidence for similarities than differences. Something can be very good while being structurally weak (hi Frozen) or something can be very bad/boring while being structurally sound. But because responses tend to be more subjective than analyzing structure, I prefer to work in analyzing structure. I never would've made it through my courses with books that were emotionally hard to read, like "Things Fall Apart" or "Wuthering Heights" otherwise. Preferring to work in structural analysis is my personal bias, of course, but that doesn't mean my structural analysis itself (i.e. Ezran being a peace maker for Callum and Rayla in 1x06 and 4x06) is biased, because that parallel is just a fact

On a mission to improve myself. It's been 5 days and I'm already bored of it lol. But let's run it down bc I have a planner -- several bc B got sick of me going "I made planning errors, I need a new one" (they are being repurchased for other things one can use a dated calendar for -- one is acting as a diary of sorts, when I note something I've done improving, I write it on that day. The other will get turned into a meal/exercise planner. If there's a third, I'll turn it into a household chore book. Slap some different paper glued to the covers to tell them apart and bam.)

Ok, so I like magic. No I'm not looking for opinions on magic -- some people find mass soothing, I'm more of a loner, it suits. So I'm structured around that.

There is a master list of things to change, which require inspired action as well as saying the words. It is LONG, so I'm only going to get into now.

Working on healing my relationship with sex, and going boy sober for a bit until I do.

Getting back in shape. Now I know the mere topic brings out all the people who think they get to tell me how to feel about my body (y'all fatphobia and shaming people for wanting to lose weight are the exact same thing.) Because of this I'll explain, though I do not owe one -- my body has been the same shape and size virtually my whole life since puberty and this does not feel like it belongs to me. And it's no one's business but mine. I'm doing a few minutes of exercise every hour or two and trying to eat natural foods. Also mean to take a walk every night and work on adopting what I'm told is a European approach to portion -- the first tastes are the best, then you're not savoring, just finishing. Those two aren't there yet. Also will join a gym at some point but way not there yet.

Shadow work twice a week. Right now I'm just using my triggers and trying to integrate them. Can't tell if I'm making progress.

Trauma work twice a week. The first session went very well, the combination approach I designed working exactly as expect, though I want to add in vagus nerve work to help regulate the body as I'm releasing trauma.

Confidence. I'm starting with general confidence. Hypnosis and NLP techniques, though also incorporating some do it scared techniques once a week where I basically set myself up for a low stake rejection or loss to basically adapt to it as not a big deal.

Forgiveness, for myself first. I write letters to myself at least every week showing compassion and understanding.

Stirring reality. Admittedly action on this is rather impossible. Basically it's just making everything more changeable and it's my job to grab those chances. There's a job I might get which would hopefully count.

Now, I'm planning for the future tasks, such as stockpiling books on interpersonal communication, resiliency, education (parts of mine are lacking), planning weekly outing to do SOMETHING outside my comfort zone. Also looking for other activities, like sticking to a schedule, meditation of counting to 100 until I can do the whole way mind blank, forcing myself to just sit and watch a movie without a secondary thing, picking up new skills (languages, though I need to settle on one and want a digital piano really bad to try, also more dance, pottery, that kind of thing).

It is thoroughly exhausting. However, I have faith that at the end of 12 months -- my next birthday -- I will be a significantly improved human.

I'm also working on business stuff -- at how to start a coaching business the way I want rather than conventional wisdom. Yet more modalities I can draw on over time, like archetypes and superconscious shifts.

And I'd love a day off, but most work is weekly, so can't miss lol.

So yeah... not super exciting, unless you all want to hear the neat psychological machinery I'm building for various issues (and it is neat.)

I just read one of your old fics, Where We Began, and honestly I'm so in love with it? If you don't plan on writing more do you have any other abstract ideas about it? Like about how the Nohrians would try to calm them down or which of the trio decided to trust them first or just anything like that? I just really like it a lot and it's entirely fair if you don't have any other thoughts about it, it's an awesome concept but you wrote it years ago, I just thought I'd give it a shot

Re: The Nohrians calming the kids down

The Trio definitely get rounded up after Severa gets caught in the barn, lol. The only hope they had was running away, and Camilla caught Severa. Owain & Inigo aren't going to just leave her behind, and Niles is probably hot on their tail. So there goes that escape attempt. They'd probably get herded back to the castle pretty soon after, but that just means they're (very clumsily) trying to whisper escape plans to each other once get they stuck in a (windowless) room. So the kids are probably panicking less outwardly at that point but still Freaked. Even if this is post-war, it's a big, dark castle full with Bad Vibes. Why wouldn't they still think this is Plegia?

Re: Gaining trust

This is harder because you have to convince a bunch of 12 year olds whose last memories are of the apocalypse and who have been taught anything that resembles Plegia is probably on the side of Grima that hey, you're in another universe, you don't remember coming here, you're actually adults, we didn't know your real names before a second ago and the aesthetic is Ominously Dark Here but we promise it's cool, we're tight. Like, even for a kid, that's not going to fly

Ultimately, this would come down to how much the Trio have revealed about themselves to their lords, I think. Because you need at least one (better if at least 2) of the lords to say, "Hey, your mom's name is _____ and you told me about this secret memory from the time you were _____ and ____ happened, which I never could have found out unless you told me yourself."

It would not require all the lords/retainers to do this because if Inigo or Owain were both like "Hm, that is true, the only way you'd know that is if I trusted you enough to tell you myself," that would sway Severa not to freak out entirely, I think. (And vice versa; if Severa & Owain both were convinced Leo/Niles & Camilla knew them, that would convince Inigo even if Xander didn't have anything to offer just then, etc.)

However, they're not all the same levels of trusting. Inigo would be the easiest to sway, Owain would be medium distrustful even if Leo/Niles offered good evidence bc Imagination Running Wild (although that also means he's the easiest to convince they hopped dimensions/time traveled too), and Severa would be hardest to convince about anything in general, even if she didn't have any other way of explaining how Camilla or Beruka knew X about her otherwise. Severa is jaded at age 12.

Inigo probably compliments Camilla & Elise even more so than in canon but he gets Visibly Flustered every time they talk back to him because Tween Vibes. (I elaborate a bit more on this down below).

I think Severa would actually butt heads with Camilla because Camilla is so doting and motherly (and a flyer!), and Severa at this age has a lot of Angst and Mommy issues that she has yet to work through. Also, it's up in the air how soon aver Cordelia's death this would be for her. So this would be a tough dynamic for both of them to adjust to, and Severa would probably avoid Camilla until/unless something changed.

I can't remember if this was an ask in regards to this fic or something else, but I remember a long, long time ago having the thought that a de-aged Odin/Owain would actually be more drawn to Xander and Camilla rather than Leo, simply because of the fact Xander has such a cool sword and Owain canonically admires Camilla's armor. Leo is a dark mage, which is also cool, but not quite as Immediately Cool to a 12 year old who Loves Swords and doesn't yet use magic. I think this would actually make Leo jealous and exacerbate his inferiority complex, lol. (*Niles voice: Green isn't a good color on you, milord*) But all it would take is Owain seeing Brynhilder and hearing about it for him to Flip Out over that too, so I think the problem would solve itself then, lol

(Espcially royalty. Especially Extremely Tall, Very Handsome/Beautiful Royalty. For reference, Lucina may not intimidate him at this age because they've known each other since forever and That's Different, but I think people like Chrom (assuming this isn't Chrom! Inigo) and Emmeryn (were she alive) would get him flustered still. But maybe not Lissa because she may be more Owain's Mom to him than princess just because of the way she acts (though he may avoid her out of fear of getting a frog in his shoe or something) (But he'd still be flustered if she complimented him bc Nervous!!) Anyway!! That's too long! Inigo at this age, even after he's calmed down and knows what's up, would be shyer than his canon self, I think. He's still growing up

I've been feeling a little stuck with my writing, and since you have written for both sims and a novel, I thought you might be a good person to ask, if that's okay. 1) How did you format your writing when planning sims posts? (screenplay, prose, etc.) 2) How do you keep yourself motivated to work on writing? (sims or not) 3) How do you deal with or prevent burnout? Thank you so much! (Also, how's your novel going??)

Aw I love this ask 😭😭😭 Might be a monster answer, sorry y'all lol. Below a cut for courtesy :)

How do I format sims posts – So if it's for a pure story post (i.e. not gameplay oriented) I always start with the idea for the scene first. From there, I'd loosely format the dialogue (I wouldn't necessarily always write it fully) and any other written info that need to be included!

Depending on the post, and tbh depending on my mood/phase at the time lol, I would bounce between dialogue only on the photo posts, dialogue on images with prose in the post body to support, or fully prose. Like, if there was a lot of internal things I wanted to communicate that I couldn't get across via dialogue, I would write prose style. I personally was never a big fan of writing screenplay style (i.e. Bob growls: Whatever you say Eliza!). I gave it a shot and I didn't vibe w it so I didn't do it again 🤷‍♀️

And then based on the direction I'm taking the writing for the post, I'd know what shots to get! i.e. for dialogue-based scenes, you need a lot more shots, than for something that will be fully-prose. Sometimes if I was feeling lazy or couldn't find the right poses, I'd write prose style to communicate what the scene was lacking visually.

How do I stay motivated– Honestly, this answer varies for sims stuff vs my novel! For my sims stories, I really just went off of when I felt that natural motivation 😂 So because of that I posted really inconsistently, lol. I did try and use the queue feature to my advantage– when I hit a good stride, I'd make sure to schedule posts out over a while rather than dump them all at once, so there'd be less of a post "lull". But other than that, I wrote simblr stories purely for fun, so if it didn't feel fun I didn't do it 🤷‍♀️ Or i'd like throw in a wacky plot if things felt a lil stale (hi remember when Levi randomly had a baby bc of a virtual coin flip lmao). For my novel, I'm currently working on getting my motivation for it BACK rn 😂 I took a pretty decent break from it to work on finalizing all the deets for our wedding, and to focus on my design business! But honestly, the biggest help for me for my novel has been PLANNING. It's a lot easier to motivate yourself to write when you know what TO write. I've seen some people suggest to never stop a writing session at the end of a scene/chapter– at the very least, knock out the first part of the next scene, because that takes advantage of your current moment AND makes it easier to come back to next time, because you're not starting from nothing for that scene.

Dealing with Burnout– Honestly, just REST. And let it be okay to read. If you spend your entire rest period feeling bad or beating yourself up it doesn't ACTUALLY count as rest!!!!

For something like simblr, tbh just let it go for a few weeks and come back when it feels fun. Switch things up. Try posting something else for a bit. Start a story, do a few fun scenes, and never finish it. Whatever feels exciting, FOLLOW THAT ITCH!

This is a hobby at the end of the day– the moment is stops feeling enjoyable or like it is fulfilling a goal you have, it's time to take a pause. There is definitely value in cultivating discipline around even our hobbies (I personally have a very....... easily distracted personality type??? Idk. but i give up on stuff easily due to shiny object syndrome lol and tht is something I have to and WANT to actively be working on, personally) but you don't want to push yourself TOO hard that it effects you negatively! Don't put too much pressure on yourself. :) Always, always extend grace to yourself. Whether it's a hobby, a job, or anything else in life. We all deserve rest.

Update on my novel– First off, thanks for asking! 😭❤️ It's..... going! Lmao. I got about 18k words in, and now i've decided to tweak the plot a little bit, which is both incredible and annoying 😂 Currently resisting going back to it, bc I haven't decided if I want to just keep going with it, or go back and restart with the new plot switch.

Tbh, working on a novel is THE most fulfilling creative endeavor I've taken on (aside from my business, but that's a wholeeee other beast lol and more work, less play haha) and it has been so freaking cool watching it grow and develop and morph and REALLY turn into a real story 😭 And as annoying as it is every time things change (I've literally replotted this thing like 15 times lmaoo one day I'll have to share all the plot iterations i've been thru bc it is NUTS how far we've come 😂) it is also really, really neat bc I really feel like I'm chipping away at something real– not something just floating in my head. I read a metaphor once that writing a novel is like a sculptor chipping away at a hunk of clay. It takes a while, but each pass thru, it looks more and more like the thing.

I've also been trying to read a LOT more (up to like 13 books so far this year 😎 ) specifically in the genre I'm writing, and I can already feel how much better I've got at crafting a story because of that, which is exciting, and I just really can't wait to have a finished freaking product in hand that reflects all that lol.

I also have round glasses (my eyesight is extremely bad ㅠㅠ), wear a lot of black, and recently have been wearing this tan overcoat everytime I go out bc it's big and comfy. oh, and I've always loved black low-top converse!

I'm overweight so I'm kinda insecure about my physical appearance, but I've been dealing with it for so long that ig I've come to terms with it and have just accepted that this is how I am (but I have been trying to exercise... >_>)

3) I'm a gemini, istp-t, and enneagram type 5. I think I treat people how they treat me; if someone doesn't talk to me, I probably won't talk to them unless necessary, and if someone is very friendly and nice to me, I'll be a bit more open and talk more. I'm usually pretty reserved and go with the flow, but around people I'm more comfortable with I can be very sarcastic and playful. I'm kinda a mom/therapist friend. I'm very lazy and an expert procrastinater (I do what's necessary in the most efficient way possible, unless it's something that I enjoy).

Some things I enjoy: cooking & baking, arts & crafts, reading, sketching, 80s music, watching anime/tv/movies (especially crime, mystery, and thriller), and photography (as far as taking scenic photos with my phone goes lmao). idk if this counts as interests, but I'm planning on majoring in business administration and accounting. and as for my clothing style, I currently dress for comfort bc I'm always inside, but if I get a chance to redo my wardrobe I'd like to dress in a style more like dark academia/comfy casual? I have a tendency to bottle up my emotions and I'm honestly a bit of a tsundere, so I think I might be shy in voicing my wants/initiating things. as for my type, I would prefer someone tall, mature but able to be playful and can take a joke (I sometimes use "idiot" as a term of endearment sksj I can be kinda mean sometimes tbh), patient since I'll take a while to open up, and ideally ambitious and willing to take initiative (bonus points if they're able to keep up with my sarcastic banter!)

5) I definitely like to sleep in, but if I need to wake up early and I can do so relatively easily. ig you could say I'm more of a night owl. You met when you were transferred to the BAU as the new Forensic Pathologist.

He takes you to a hockey game. 

He is not the sportiest person but he has had an interest in hockey for a while, sometimes watching it on tv. 

When he learned that you liked it, he decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to invite you on a date as well as to see his first game. 

After the game, you walked around town for a bit, getting some late night food and talking or a long time. 

This allowed you to open up to him quite a bit and you grew more comfortable around him as well, which he is very happy about. 

Best Friend:

He was appalled when you told him that you didn’t eat that often (if came a part of your relationship later on that he would try to cook you meals that you’d like just so you WOULD EAT). 

You ended up spending hours together, and it felt like no time at all.

Visual art is hard but I'm harder

I spent the last few days working on my drawing skills. Currently my art is --as the french say-- "really bad", and someday I'd like for it to be passable-to-great. I really enjoy drawing, and while I get a lot out of it it's just not something I'm good enough at to be willing to put out into the world disclaimer-free. So, in the interest of someday being a control freak GameDev who designs every aspect of her game, I figure I should start working on these skills now rather than be an expert programmer and ready to ship my game suddenly realizing it looks like doodoo.

"But Percy," you ask, lip trembling feebly, "how do you plan on doing this? What steps are you taking to summit this next great artistic peak? How can you, a subpar drawm'n possibly garner this remaining skill to toil Wagner-like and create your masterpiece???" Your voice breaks slightly and I turn in my chair. As I stand, your gaze scrolls up as though searching apartment windows for your greatest fear. All of a sudden, I tower before you, and I squat down into a frog pose to meet your eye level. Creaking forward, I whisper in your ear: "Y o u T u b e t u t o r i a l s."

So far I've done Saultoon's Aseprite Beginner's Tutorial which was super helpful, and I made these lovely little donuts :)

The process involved using all the main tools in Aseprite, as well as changing colour palettes. I did my first batch in the default palette, the second one as Minecraft colours, and to challenge myself I did the third one with GameBoy colours. In the end, Saultoon requested that I shade the big donut? which meant I had to break out of the GB's four colours and also I have no idea how to shade so that made it tricky. I'm proud of the donuts though I think they're cute! Pixel art is great because my hand motor skills are poopy bad and that's not a barrier here. Oh, I also bought Aseprite. I made this decision bc after much research I concluded that it was the cheapest and had the cutest logo.

I do want to get better at art theory stuff though, which is why I also started working my way through Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, a book that I bought probably six years ago and cracked open twice. Holy shoot though it's such a good book. The writing is really engaging, if somewhat pretentious, and the content is succinct and inspiring. The first exercise was to draw a self portrait which I'm actually quite proud of. I showed it to two of the best visual artists I know and both said it looks "recognizably like me" which is huge tbh that's what I was going for. I'm not gonna post it here just because I don't feel like putting my recognizable mug on the internet today, but I probably will someday to show the improvement working through the book. Oh, also, the self portrait was apparently supposed to take half an hour, but I accidentally spent 3+ hours on it. This ate into my learning-code time, but it's all good bc I learned I really enjoyed trying to nail the details. The next exercises I'm definitely gonna set a timer for, because I think it's important to churn out lots of product when you're learning a new skill rather than being a perfectionist, but it wasn't wasted time and it made me really really excited for the day I'm good at this stuff. I genuinely think that once it's not such a chore I'll be drawing constantly. I love drawing bro oh my god lemme at em as soon as my hands do what my brain says to do and my brain can focus on understanding even the most basic principles of shading. Shading so hard y'all. I did an art class in high school and I've had art friends explain it to me like a thousand times and I just, , , , do not understand how to visualize light.

Anyways I'm off! I think today I'm gonna work on another project that requires me to draw and call that my art practice, and then either write a little music or do the next coding module. I haven't written music in ages and it fills me with such churning, freezer-burning anxiety and I'd really like to combat that considering it's the thing in my life that brings me the most fulfillment. This is sounding like another post rn though, so I'm gonna save my thoughts for when I write an update involving composition. I'm feeling good today, and I'm not gonna let my anxious little brain take up my precious time worrying about wasting my creative/productive potential when instead I could, idk, be creative and productive. Or do LITERALLY anything else. Get outta here you squirrely little guilt-soaked meat sponge, thanks for your concern but you're squandering my valuable minutes. I love you. Mwah <3

Wataru Hibiki!

Wataru sure left a big first impression on you. It was your first day at Yumenosaki, and you were planning to go around and meet all the units that you’d be producing. As you stepped into the school’s gates, your vision was invaded with confetti and and falling feathers. Doves flew over your head, seemingly dropping roses around you. You looked around frantically, searching for whoever did that. A loud voice answered your question almost immediately. In a blur of silver and blue, a tall male with long hair appeared only a few feet in front of you. An intricate mask rested around his eyes, adding to the whole effect. He bowed gracefully, introducing himself as “Your very own Wataru Hibiki! Amazing☆” Said Wataru Hibiki pulled a rose from what appeared to be thin air, offering it to you as he bowed his head once more. You immediately took a liking to this guy.

He ended up showing you around the whole campus, continuously providing “entertainment,” such as magic tricks or random shows. So when it was finally time for class to start, you couldn’t stop grinning. You had trouble focusing, looping the previous events in your mind endlessly. It seemed so unreal.

The moment you were given the chance, you set out to find the peculiar boy from earlier. You did a thorough search of the school, looking at all the places Wataru had shown to you. Still, being your first day, you weren’t too familiar with the campus. And you ended up getting lost. All that walking had gotten pretty tiring, too. So you decided to sit down and take a rest, maybe you would find someone and ask for help.

Not even a minute later, you heard someone shouting. You looked up to find a rather small brown haired boy, in a dress, you might add, sprinting away from something as if his life depended on it. Your gaze moved to the figure chasing after him, only to find the boy that you had been searching for. You jumped up, hoping to catch his attention before he could get away. And hopefully get an explanation for what’s going on.

You two spent more and more time together, allowing you to learn all kinds of things about the strange boy that you had come to love. Well, you weren’t sure if you meant romantic love or not. After all, he was almost everything you could ask for- eccentric, supportive, and a little mysterious. But how could you know if he liked you, anyway? He never really showed interest in particular… but he seemed to love being around you. Though that could just be because he likes you as a friend?

You didn’t have to worry for much longer. Wataru had easily recognized his feelings for you, and planned out an extremely extravagant confession. There was confetti, birds, flowers, and lights all surrounding the third year as he stood up on what looked like a homemade stage. He was acting out a monologue, talking to himself about feelings and such. It was all really confusing, why did he want you here? And there wasn’t a crowd, so it wasn’t a play or anything… The questions immediately fell from your mind as Wataru jumped down from the stage in an explosion of confetti and birds flying out from every direction, pulling a rose out of his sleeve. Just as he did the first time you met, he bowed his head and offered the rose to you as he finally ended his long confession. And thus, you two became a couple.

You said you’d like someone with faith in you? Good, because even if you didn’t, Wataru would be supporting you nonstop. He tend to go a little over the top, though. He has plenty of confidence to go around. Wataru has more pride in you than you could ever imagine having for yourself. Though he does it in his own, strange way, Wataru is always there to give you that reassurance he knows you need. He’s always pushing you to be your best self, and loves when you get determined to become better at something!

Wataru is always surprising you. Every day, he has something new and exciting planned. It makes you wonder how much time he spends figuring all this stuff out- and how has he not run out of ideas? His eccentric behavior never fails to make you smile.

Dating brought you two even closer than before, but it also made you realize how mysterious Wataru can really be. He seems pretty simple, in his crazy own way; but there’s a lot more to him that you’d think. I hope you don’t mind standing out in public, because Wataru is always doing something to turn heads. As long as you support him, join in on his ideas every once in a while (or more than that), and continue to smile at his antics, he’ll love you forever! Bonus points if you plan things that surprise him back~
