I haven't been here on IG lately but this is one of the projects I had going. These are done. Was told the client wanted the Y replaced with the stingray and curved tail to underline. Did all the logo design in Adobe Illustrator, and made a mask for the design. This was done on a brand new cover, so the word Corvette was embossed just slightly on the face. Sanded it smooth and sprayed a fill primer down. Sanded down and did a second fill. The face was smoothed out. Base coated then did the stencil work. The writing is all done in one tone, the light and dark occurs because of how heavy or light I applied the paint. (Silver base coat was great for this). Pealed parts of the mask, sprayed and replaced till the whole logo was done. I was extremely happy when the mask was pulled off and it worked out so well! Cleared then sanded and polished. Now to get them packed up and sent back to there home.
