The douchebag OCs

So the title says it all! Time to talk about my douchebag OCs that my poor boy Léo knows and has to deal with. Their names are Henri and Rico.

Here is Henri Chevalier, Léo's ex. Here is my Stardew Portrait of him:

Léo was deeply in love with Henri. They met on the bus. Léo usually isn't the first to flirt, but when he saw Henri get on the bus, he knew he had to make some kind of move. The bus was full, and Henri had no choice but to sit next to Léo. They ended up chatting when Léo complimented the jacket Henri was wearing, and Léo actually asked for his number before getting off the bus. Henri was shocked but flattered. Henri essentially went lmao yolo and gave Léo his number.

The two dated for two years. They moved in after the first year, and Henri ended up buying promise rings for them. Neither of them were ready to get engaged, but they knew they wanted to be together forever.

Henri wants to become a famous actor, but he wants to do so by landing a starring role in a movie as his first major role. Léo supports him, but Henri ends up using Léo for his money.

Henri ends up landing an audition for an upcoming movie. He's just an extra, and nearly turns it down before he realizes he might get to meet the A-List celebrities who will be in the movie.

And boy does he ever. Henri ends up breaking up with Léo when he comes back from his first day of shooting the film, and of course it was over the phone. He explains that he met someone else, someone who would be able to further his connections. That person happened to be the star of the movie who just so happens to be the second douchebag on this list.

The next OC is Ricardo Hernàndez-Pérez, aka Rico. He is Henri's new boyfriend. Here is his Stardew Portrait:

Rico is a handsome and very charming actor from Cuba. He knows exactly what to say to get people to do precisely what he wants. He uses this knowledge to seduce Henri.

When he saw Henri, he saw someone that he could use. Henri was shy, handsome, and good actor. Rico wanted to meet him at first because he found the man attractive, but also because he could see how naïve this man was. Laying on the charm thick, he ended up getting into Henri's pants that night.

Henri was shocked and horrified that he had just cheated on his boyfriend. Rico told him that it was for the best. Léo wouldn't be able to land Henri roles. Léo wouldn't be able to fund Henri's dreams. Rico promised to take him to LA, New York, Paris, and all sorts of other places around the world. He promised to make Henri a star.

Swayed by these promises, and also by Rico's stunning good looks, Henri broke up with Léo the next morning. He did not reveal that he had slept with Rico.

Rico's goal is ultimately to have Henri as a pretty thing to hang off his arm, and also someone who will do anything for him. However, Rico is not afraid to drop Henri if the man shows any signs of hesitation. Rico is not a nice person. His charm and kindness are a complete façade.

So these are my douchebag OCs that will be in Buttercup Baby! Rico is only mentioned, but Henri does have a role in the story. I will be tagging them in further posts as bb henri and bb rico

“Wonderful,” Alex mutters against Henry’s lips, retaking them and practically climbing up him to get closer. When Henry grabs under his ass and hoists him up the wall, Alex gives thanks for vampire strength. While he wasn’t always as big as now, post-werewolf transition, he’s always been solid from the years of lacrosse and then working out and running while in college and law school to keep himself sane. Being held against the wall while kissing Henry and exploring with his hands makes him feel safe and wanted in a way he’s not experienced before.

if we are to believe that regina is a straight woman (impossible) then I truly do think she would not have a romantic love after Daniel. I don't think that after Daniel's death as well as Leopold and rumples abuse she could ever devote herself to a man because of the memories they bring to her.

This is different of course with henry and I actually think with having a child she would prefer a boy so she could raise him to have the respect for women that the men of her past lacked and daniel showed her for the first time. As well as the fear that having a daughter would bring and Regina not wanting to become her mother.

dont even get me started on her father because I can smell the comments saying that her father was a good man to her and she wouldnt hate men bc of him bla bla bla. respectfully, you are wrong<3! love must go beyond the simple profession of it and Henry Sr's. did not. Yes he cared for her but his care did not extend into bravery and that is where love resides. Daniel was ready to stand up to Cora on Reginas behalf when they were about to run away, Henry Sr sat by and watched while his daughter was restrained in the air and who knows what else.

I do not know if Regina ever came to terms with her true feelings for her father but deep down I think she knows he was not a good parent, but compared to Cora he sure seemed like one. Any comfort at all through her childhood was from him and that attachment overshadowed everything else he failed to do.

And with her using him to cast the curse, I do not think at that point she held much love for him at all. She thought she loved her horse more then him first of all. Yes she had to sacrifice what she loved the most but there was nobody else alive for her to love. (except Mal but thats a whole different post hehe) the dark curse is meant to be hard to cast, otherwise everyone would go around doing it. Most sane people would register that they cannot get their happy endings if the person they love most is not there, but regina 1. was not sane, and 2. knew she could live without her father. Did she love him? yes im sure she did. but only as far as she could throw him.

In the underworld I think her father felt so much guilt about Reginas childhood that he never faulted her for killing him and that is when I think his love was the strongest. But it was too late. I do think however that Regina got the closure she needed to move on from his death because once her anger ebbed away over the years of the curse I do think she felt incredibly guilty.

Anyway this blossomed because I was thinking about how much I hate robin and his beard and Regina should of too!

This is such a cool little moment from the first time Alfred is at Henry´s place.

The score that sets in immediately after Henry closes the door and locks out the outside world is so unsettling at first and sounds like danger is afoot, and for Alfred´s status quo it certainly is. There´s tension building right away. But then wonder of discovery gets sprinkled in quickly with those individual twinkling notes on top. It´s giving thrill of the unknown, uncertainty of what you´re getting yourself into, starting out with uneasiness, but magnetically and willingly letting yourself be pulled in, or, you know, visiting your secret forbidden crush for the first time.

Alfred is so unguardedly wide-eyed when he´s in that intimate setting and tapping more into who Henry is and what he cares about by looking at his photographs, it does something to me 🫠 (Even if they´re for a story they´re still Henry´s pov and choices, and Alfred looks like he´s soaking it all up, and also like he´s never seen photographs like that before. Just wait for later, buddy. You ain´t seen nothing yet.) You can basically watch him make those connections between what he sees and who Henry is in his mind. He´s filling in a crude drawing, shading and refining it as he moves from picture to picture. Henry´s gaining dimension, depth and color by the second, and Alfred looks like he´d like to keep going, as uncertain and scared as he might be.

And Henry? He´s just trying to gauge what Alfred is about. The question whether Alfred approves is really the critical and central one in the bigger scheme of things. Does Alfred approve of what´s going to happen between them? Of Henry? Of them? Of being with a man? They´re also the first words spoken here after Alfred has entered and come as a disruption for him, just like that ultimate approval will be a disruption to his life. Fitting that he doesn´t give an answer here at this point.

The slightest knowing smile spreading on Henry´s face at the end when Alfred basically has to tear himself away and return to reality is the best, especially paired with Alfred´s mouth falling open again as it so often does around Henry 🥰 perpetual shock to Alfred´s system thy name is Henry Ashe 🥰)
