What are your thoughts on what Jimmy Pesto’s ex-wife and the mother of the Pesto children is like?

in my head she's like a very middle class WASP-y type mom and doesn't have a close relationship to her kids. PTA mom type who isn't really in it for her kids as much as to have a weird power dynamic over other people

in a fanfic i read once jimmy jr said that staying at his mom's house always feels like staying at a hotel or b&b instead of an actual House and he never knows where anything is and that feels very accurate to me?? his mom has a sort of minimalist instagram aesthetic vibe to her house and it's kinda uncomfortable. andy and ollie prefer staying at their mom's (maybe because they think jimmy jr is their dads favorite or he's too hard on them) but jimmy jr prefers staying with his dad because at least he feels wanted and like he's being useful at the restaurant

also i like to imagine she runs in a lot of the same social circles as cynthia bush lmao

jimmy pesto was an asshole but that's not even why they got divorced. bcuz of his weird italian mafia fixation he just didn't fit in with the other middle class parent types in their social circles and it was embarassing for her. he was too uhh idk the word like redneck?? not Proper enough? compare him to like logan's dad or tammy's dad who basically just do whatever their kids say and are subservient to their wives. I kinda feel for jimmy pesto in a way (but not that much....)

she has custody of the kids two weeks of every month (jimmy pesto obvs has the other two) and for what it's worth she is somewhat more supportive of her kids interests and personalities compared to jimmy. neither of them are good parents though

also i have decided to headcanon that she's this random redheaded lady jimmy pesto was talking to at a party once bcuz i think it's funny to imagine him trying to chat up his ex wife at a random kids birthday party

My highlights of Season 4 so far are Prince Soma being so annoying it broke a pathological liar into losing his shit with him, and the daring rescue of Ciel where, whilst loudly decrying their enemies’ use of physical harm, two older, larger boys smashed into room wielding CRICKET BATS which they promptly hit those enemies with.

The bartender at the place I went to last night asked me about my hammer necklace (which is iconic and I never take it off)(lmk if you want links to where I got the pendant and the separate chain). Asked me if it was a Pink Floyd reference. And I said no and also went into a long shpiel about how some of the fascists (hammerskins etc.) started using the Pink Floyd hammers even though that was the opposite of how the band felt and then I remembered this is why it’s hard for me to find friends

Spent the morning on bloodborne and the evening on stardew valley... Very different states of play. In bloodborne I've got 19 in blood tinge and 23 in endurance. In stardew valley I've got a 6 in fishing and 4 in foraging.

I've started the beach farm, which is a fairly challenging one and not one I'd recommend to new players - sprinklers don't work in the sand that's 70% of the whole farm. I figured going in I'd have to change my usual methods (huge fields) in favour of, well, everything else.

Usually my main focus is on the crops, with only a small orchard and few tapped trees, one shed, one coop and barn each. Most space goes to crops and, of course, animal grass. I've never had enough grass to sustain itself no matter what fencing techniques I use, so this time I'm going to section off a full third of the farm just to let them run free and hopefully get something I don't have to keep replacing, especially once I swap to blue grass late game.

I've also dedicated the little grassy meadow area to just decoration, which isn't my usual style but I was a little overwhelmed with the size. It'll be nice. I've planned for a hut and a well, just to feel nice.

When drawing up the blueprints on the sdv planner thing I like to leave it fairly undecorated, because a) that takes ages and b) it's nice to be able to come up with the designs organically with the actual resources I have when it becomes time and not try to get it pixel perfect according to a map I drew up weeks/months ago and c) inevitably it will fall apart and I'll have to do it differently anyway. So. No idea on the details or even if everything will work out as I hope but fingers crossed!!

I don't have any hardwood on the farm, I like to use the quarry for that, so that saves space. And I've remembered to block out a space for the stable! Didn't do that last time XD. I hope I'll be able to even fence off a little pseudo field. I really need to check if trees work the way I remember, I'm hoping for a proper orchard!

Ooh and I moved the greenhouse! I normally keep it close to where it started, but man I appreciate the ability to move it around. Took it off the little island and moved it just below my house. In its place I've built a circle of obelisks! (... Eventually. Even on my main farm I haven't got the final one (dragon teeth my beloathed.) Quite proud of that.

All these buildings, but the main path runs along the very back! I hate having stuff or paths behind buildings, doesn't feel right at all. And I'm still not fully sold on where I'm putting the silos (because I'll need SO MANY to keep like 50 animals through the winter. Will need to do the maths later) but there should be space to move around.

One of my new problems was that usually I can put everything against the walls of the farm, but I can't do that now - it's all water! It'd be weird!

My favourite part is hands down the little sandy area sticking out with the return totem mouse, because I've put my fish ponds there and I'm going to put stepping stones scattered around so it's like rock pools :D.

The most important part of any sdv farm is the ability to match play progress. A patch dedicated to mystic syrup isn't much help in the first fifty hours, but you'll need space to put them on hour 60. I've got a patch ready for banana and mango trees, but for the majority of the time it's going to be more tree tappers, and maybe some seasonal forage seeds. The slime hutch is conveniently placed to leave empty, but if any of my other areas don't work the over flow can go there. I can fit it in the meadow.

But seriously, this is such a hard farm to design! I looked up inspiration and everything was either min maxed to death and stupidly high maintenance (think random tapped trees in every spare inch and 1 block wide paths) or way too aesthetic (random beehives and twisting impractical paths with long grass and stray fence posts EVERYWHERE and a plaza dedicated to the golden clock). A couple even had sprinklers in the sand, like way to show that you made it purely in the editor and haven't so much as looked at it in game.

But overall I'm really excited!! I've played a few other farms, but this is the project following in the footsteps of my year 5 wilderness farm. I feel like I've got a lot more experience and understanding of the game to bring to the table, especially late game stuff now I can't be spoiled, and I'm ready to tackle this challenge.

A few days ago my partner proposed the idea of Ginger and Jimmy Pesto's ex wife (Jimmy Jr, Andy, and Ollie's mom), being the same person.

And listen, I have been FIXATED ever since.

Have we ever seen Jimmy in the restaurant at the same time as Linda being on the phone to Ginger?

What if that's why Jimmy's such a dick to Bob, because Linda's still in Ginger's life but he isn't?

Ginger's hair and shirt colours are almost identical to Jimmy Junior and Andy, respectively.

Ginger has a partner and Jimmy Jr's museoem says "my mom's new friend Allen, is okay!"

Andy and Ollie's personalities overlap with Linda's so much, that comes from somewhere!

Linda's mystery red-headed friend in the Dreamatorium episode has an almost identical face to Andy and Ollie too! And as J-Ju looks exactly like his dad, it stands to reason that the twins would look like their mom.

Nishinoya Yuu

Noya is like a literal babyyy. He loves loves lovesss when you pamper him and baby him. Especially during those moments where all he needs is a little silence and your comfort cause he doesn´t have one single ounce of energy left. He loves crashing down on the sofa, his head on your lap and your fingers through his ginger hair.

"Long day?"

Your soft honey like voice drifts to his ears, and all he can manage to respond is a small low hum.

He feels like he absolutely won in life when you not only move away to prepare a warm bath for him, but you also slip inside the tub behind him and wrap your arms around his torso. He melts like puddy when your soft hands begin to massage his scalp while you make sure the shampoo reaches his roots, and in his mind, he questions if that was what heaven felt like.

You had to coax him into getting out of the tub after a long while passed, your skin pruned and the bath no longer as warm. Though honestly, Noya could´ve stayed like that forever, however, the image of you cuddled up under the safety and warmth of the bedsheets sounded far more tempting. So, with groggy movements, he stepped out and wrapped a towel around his waist.

He may be small, but he was not light, and in his dazed like state, he didn´t seem to remember as he all but plops down right on top of you. Were it any other day, you would´ve shoved him off, but the way his eyelids fluttered close and his lips seemed to be in a permanent pout were too cute. So, adjusting your position so you could at least breathe, you run your hand up and down his back, your other playing with his soft locks. And just like that, he was out like a light.

Bokuto Koutarou

You knew the second you started dating Bokuto, that you´d be in for a rollercoaster of emotions. You had become accostumed to his wide range of emtions that seemed to appear at the most sudden times. Nevertheless, there were days where his energy seemed to be on a constant low. He moved in slow sluggish motions and not a single thought seemed to pass through his mind.

You found out that one of his favorite things that you do at times like this is giving him a looong massage. His body would be flopped face down on the comfort of your bed while you oiled up his bare back. He´d expressed to you many times that he was convinced your hands were made by the very gods, because when they slowly massaged the tense muscled of his back, he felt like he was on cloud 9.

You´d make your way up until you reached his broad shoulders and neck. Small muffled groans would be heard from him every once in a while, but he´d mostly remain uncharacteristically quiet.

If he didn´t pass out from your massage, because trust me, he has passed out many times before, then you´d watch a random movie while he nuzzled into your warm body. His soft breaths tickled the sensitive skin of your neck and his buff arms wrapped around your body, like a bear engulfing you in a hug.

Every once in a while you´d press your soft lips to his forehead, or you´d run your fingers through his bicolored strands. And I can assure you that with a couple more sweet kisses, he´d be out like a light, his soft snores filling the silence of the room.

"I love you"

You whisper, pressing one last kiss to the crown of his head before you too, fall into deep slumber with your big baby in your arms.

Hinata Shoyo

If there´s one thing Shoyo loves more than anything in this world, it´s your cooking. And there´s nothing like your homemade food on a day where he can´t give his fullest.

He had spent the entire day jumping around, his energy at it´s peak. But the more it had dragged on the more he wished he could speed off back home and rest in your loving arms.

He was sprawled across the couch, his tired half lidded eyes boring into whatever was playing on the TV, he couldn´t even process anything. He feels the couch dip beside him, and when he turns his head, he finds you with a bowl of your homemade ramen in your hands. The steam wafted into the air and to his nostrils. He could already taste it in his toungue, making his stomach rumble.

However, he´s slightly surprised when you move the bowl away when he tries to reach out for it.

"Let me take care of you"

Is all you mutter. That´s how he finds himself curled up on the couch while you feed him the ramen, making sure to blow on the food each time you picked up a portion of it.

His heart fluttered when you pampered him this way. Or when you put away the bowl after he eats it all up and when you pepper slow kisses around his entire face. They werent rushed or overwhelming like they normally were. No, these were precise, like you were deliberately making sure to kiss every inch of his skin.

During these times, he absolutely needs to be the little spoon. He likes the feeling of being taken care of. The way your arms would wrap around his torso, your warm breath tickling the nape of his neck and making his spine shudder ever so slightly.

It´s in these moments where, as he´s drifting off to sleep with, he really feels an overwhelming sense of love and adoration for you
