Once again got a bee in my bonnet to spend a night doing obscure fandom research to make a point, so. For all those people who keep making the annoying, "Tim keeps '''stealing'' other peoples' names" comments -- have a table.
EDIT: Updated version with some mistakes corrected.
Everyone with a check mark has used that codename at some point in DC's 80+ year continuity -- Elseworlds and alternate dimensions/timelines count, adaptations (movies, video games, cartoons, etc.) don't unless they've got comic book tie-ins, and neither do in-universe dream sequences/illusions/fantasies/other narrative elements that are objectively "not real" within the boundaries of the fiction.
A purple marker indicates an element that only applies in Elseworlds or alternate timelines. Yellow is for the originator of the legacy title. Star symbol is for borderline cases/extenuating circumstances/it's open to interpretation (with some further elaboration below).
The "other" column is just there to account for people who've held lesser or non-legacy titles, like Renegade, Wingman, Arkham Knight, Drake, Redbird, Talon, Deadman, Black Bat, Orphan and Catwoman.
Point being: the people who have actually gone through the most legacy titles in this family are Dick, Babs and Jason, tied with 5 each (again, not counting "other;" if we counted those separately Dick would've had by far the most). Tim is tied with Steph AND Helena Wayne, so unless you're whining about them "stealing other peoples' names" you're just wrong, and they're all only one higher than Damian, Carrie and Bruce.
This is a legacy family that passes their codenames up and down the inheritance line. It's what they do. It's not a legitimate criticism to level at one character and not the others. Please get over it.
---
Further elaboration on some of the lesser known/niche cases:
- Bruce uses the Robin ID in Superman & Batman: Generations, as well as the pre-Crisis Detective Comics #226 story.
- In the second half of Thrillkiller ‘62, Babs cuts her hair and dons the Robin costume worn by her deceased partner Dick to get revenge on his killer; however the only name ever used for her in the series is Batgirl
- Cassandra was a member of the Robins orphan gang from Dark Knights of Steel.
- Duke was a member of the We Are Robins gang, as well as the aforementioned DKS orphan gang, and has appeared as Robin in a couple of Elseworlds, including I believe a White Knight spin-off.
- Cass was Batwoman in one of the versions of the Titans Tomorrow, as was Bette Kane, depending on changes to the timeline.
- Babs is Batwoman in the Batman ‘66 comics and in the 1980 story “The Secret Origin of Bruce (Superman) Wayne”
- Earth-3 Steph is Batwoman in Young Justice 2019.
- Helena Wayne is Batwoman in the possible future story Last Rites
- Tim is a member of the Batgirls vigilante/little league baseball team in the DC Bombshells universe, as is Cullen Row. Some call them the “Batboys” instead. I call those people cowards.
- Helena Bertinelli wore the costume that would later become Cass’s signature Batgirl look during No Man’s Land. However, she was more often referred to as “The Bat” and her Batgirl status is up to individual interpretation.
- Dick didn’t originate the Nightwing name, it started with Clark in the Silver Age.
- Steph has never been Nightwing. The panel where she appears in the costume is a Black Mercy illusion that happens only in her own mind. It’s a dream sequence.
- Barbara was Nightwing in the Smallville Season 11 comics.
- Terry was briefly Nightwing in volume 4 of Batman Beyond.
- Damian briefly became Nightwing after accidentally killing Dick in the Injustice series.
- Dick is Oracle in the “Eight Wonders of the World” version of Earth 2 (aka the Black Superman dimension)

Sometimes I feel the shows world is… empty but at the same time has too much
In season 2 they put sentient robots able to feel actual emotions like they are something common enough for a teenager go make them
In the specials they introduce other magic systems like the cousins of the kwamis and then introduce things like Batwoman and super/Wonder Woman
Then in season 3 they introduce FREAKING ALIENS!!! (Bunnix said they exist) I wouldn’t be mad if they elaborated in those subjects
But they don’t, we don’t have meta humans in the rest of the show but season 5 finale, we don’t have magicians and we haven’t seen a flesh and bones alien (I think since I don’t know what Majestia’s whole deal is)
The origins episode and the backstory of the guardians and miraculous imply the existence of other monsters
We see a kraken, a fusion of a Sphinx with Medusa fighting Heracles, a dragon fighting a ladybug holder on medieval glass stain similar to the ones in churches, and then we see some unknown hero fighting a Evangelion like monster on the sea with a Japanese style
But we only have Akumas, Akumas and Akumas, and in special occasions we have Akumas but BIGGER or Akumas but R E D ,Where are those monsters in modern age? Some of the crossovers they had planned with other ZAK shows implied the existence of witches, fairy’s, ghosts and a giant snake monster
The world introduces the supernatural and science fiction but instead of using it we are stuck with miraculous
Why is no character using magic? Why isn’t there sandman or rhino like villains rooming the streets? I Can see post season 4 Gabriel doing what tombstone did in spectacular Spider-Man and turning criminals into super villains to get the miraculous or at least to make negativity higher through all of Paris by introducing super villains who are willingly evil AND have permanent powers
Or why isn’t there a evil wizard searching for the miraculous for power or a ancient evil the kwamis sealed searching to take revenge on Plagg and Tikki? Or just Gabriel using evil magic to summon a hunting hound monster to track the miraculous and the heroes have to find a way to defeat a enemy they can’t defeat by their usual way (their usual way is breaking the evilified object so the enemy just disappears)
They keep introducing weird things and concepts and do nothing with them, is like they tried to be Spider-Man in the “exists on a larger world full with heroes” and then proceeds to ignore all other Spider-Man things like having a rogues gallery and constantly facing magic and sci-fi threats
Heck I might even say he only did this to ride the Shared universe train marvel started but just like DC and the Dark verse, they failed (except for the Monsterverse, the Monsterverse is ETERNAL)
That's the weird thing about this show. It wants to be a simple good vs evil story, but it also wants to flesh out the universe for future spin-offs.
This is why I just can't stand the Miraculous World specials, because they don't do anything with the concepts introduced. The Miraculous scattered across the world, other magical artifacts like the Miraculous, and the goddamn multiverse are only used for what is glorified filler. A lot of these ideas could easily be fleshed out for their own seasons, but the show only wants the conflict to revolve around the heroes and whoever gets the Butterfly Miraculous.
If you want to expand your universe, you need to think about how this development will affect your story as well as your world.

OPLA fan cast polls - Top 10 winners!
By far most of the submitted fancasts were accepted by the fans, having had a minimum of 50% yay votes. But which fancasts had the most fans behind them? Here is the top 10!
10. Karen Fukuhara as Tashigi with 82.4% of the votes.
Her experience with martial arts and sword fighting might have convinced the fans who weren't familiar with her previous roles yet!
9. Rhey Ripley as Charlotte Smoothie with 82.5% of the votes.
Her wrestler build probably convinced a lot of people she could pull this off. And maybe the lesbians went wild about her.
8. Peter Capaldi as Dr Hiriluk with 84% of the votes.
Once a doctor... (also, he just kinda looks like him)
7. Alexander Siddig as Nefertari Cobra with 84.5% of the votes.
This Sudanese actor convinced the fans that he could play another desert kingdom ruler!
6. Amber Midthunder as Laki with 85% of the votes.
With only 1 vote really against her (we will find you and hunt you down 😛), the fans think this native American actress is perfect to play Laki!
5. Jamie Lee Curtis as Kureha with 87% of the votes.
With by far the most submissions, I had expected her to come out on top, but 5th place isn't bad at all either! Besides, she has practically been cast already, and the fans seem to agree! If someone else gets cast after all, there'd better be a real good reason for that!
4. Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson as Brogy with 88.1% of the votes.
This tall strongman from Iceland seemed the perfect fit for the friendly giant!
3. Kevin Chamberlin as Tom with 89.1% of the votes.
Tom's a fishman, Kevin is human. And yet, look at their faces: the same. The fans could do nothing but agree with this fan cast (though they would also love him as Wapol).
2. Michael Jai White as Ohm with 89.8% of the votes.
Corporate needs you to find the differences between these two pictures.
The fans: "They're the same picture."
No one voted against this fan cast, so in that aspect you could say he should be the winner! However, a few more people needed to be convinced, compared to the number one...
And the winner...
1. Javicia Leslie as Miss Doublefinger with 92.9% of the votes!
Her looks, her acting experience (as Batwoman for example), and her experience with different (combat) sports have convinced almost all of the fans that she is a perfect fit! We are looking forward to see Javicia as Miss Doublefinger in the next season (?) of the One Piece Live Action!
Thank you all for submitting your fancasts and for voting on these polls! ❤
#one piece#opla#one piece live action#opla fan cast polls#results reblog#winners post#yes you'll still get the jack black poll#but none of his characters got a high enough percentage to come close to top 10 so I wanted to post this first#half of these winners have a chance to appear in the next season (if next season is the Alabasta saga)#Tashigi and Kureha should appear at least or else I don't know what they're doing with the next season#netflix pay attention 😛#I might tag netflix 🙈

Hench Women of Riddler
Echo & Query
Technically fist appearing in Secret Origins Special Vol 2 #1 1989, but under the names Query and Probe. We will have to discuss all the different names before going into them as individuals.
Detective Comics Annual #8 1995 is the first time they are who we truely know today as Query (Diedre Vance) and Echo (Nina Damfino). At the time working at a sex club called Pandora, they were petty crooks who decided to rob the Riddler after a heist. He was not only able to convince him to not Rob him, but to become his hired help.
Quiz and Query help him with his game show host astetic in Batman: Riddler 1995.
Along with dark skined twin version of Quiz and Query in The Batman and Robin Adventures #3 1996.
Not a woman, but I must mention Kwiz Kid from Teen Titans Go! #15 2003. The Rival to the Robin and boyfriend to Kitten. He is rather a fan, apprentice or spn of the Riddler.
Enigma the Riddler's daughter (Allegedly) first apeared in Teen Titans #38 2006 Joining the heroic team before shortly making an appearance in Gotham alongside her father to carry out his crimes. Eventually betraying the Titans along with Joker's daughter to Teen Titans East. Until being doubled crossed by Joker's daughter and losing to the Titans. Shortly afterwards while working with her father she was killed by him. Dark Crisi she was named Quinn Nash appearing in the Arkham Academy program inside Batman urban Legends 21 2023. Were it is stated father would go on to be mentally abusive. Pushing her to be just as smart as him, when she failed to show this, Riddler tried to kill her for not being as smart as him. Next appearing in DC's 'Twas the 'Mite Before Christmas (2023) #1 where she goes on a date with Batwoman and helps her unravel her father's plans.
Quiz real name Miyu Tangram from Legends of the Dark Knight #2 2021. Marketed as Riddler's Punchline she sent him a riddle which led to an easy bank robbery. He had the wrong code for the safe and she revealed her self from the hostages in told him the code and to take her with him. A massive fan of his work and later on his lover.
Miss Tuesday the Riddlers short lived sidekick in Batman: The Audio Adventures (Podcast) 2021.
Enigma real name Evelyn Rhyme and actual daughter of the Riddler in Batwoman season 2 2021. In which she is a master hypnotist who worked for Black Mask and made Kate Kane think she was Circe Sionis. She effected many other but was killed by Ocean to prevent her from reversing her work on Alice.
For thoughts I feel a story from the perspective of Query and Echo could be very interesting into aspects. Not only would it give us the inner workings of The Riddlers work, but a unique view as a henchmen. At no point of a stepped on or looked down upon unlike other henchmen. They are the lowest of below but they're on top of the Heap. In regards to the various children, partners and fans I think actively bringing them together could be something interesting. Maybe Riddler actively puts a test out there to attract people who are the same level of intelligences him. Trying to build a team to take over Gotham through brains instead of brawn. Project Daedalus it could be called and each of the characters could have a different specialization.

Supergirl 3
Supercorp 11
Alex Danvers 7
Supergirl: 3. ...which scene I would like to erase from the universe and why.
Okay, if I'm being petty: Lena and James dating. Especially the bedroom scene where Lena is dressing as if they just had sex. They have no chemistry. Just let them be friends instead.
Though, I can tolerate James and Lena to some degree, but Lex after Season 4?
Yeah, let's erase every scene with Lex in season 5. Let the dude Stay Dead and have Lillian be the villain. We are watching Supergirl, not The Lex Show. Geesh. Erase him especially from Season 6. We did not ask for a ridiculous Lex in love with Nxy (she's not human so why would he, an xenophobe, fall for her?) romance arc. We wanted Supercorp. Ugh. Erase that too.
The problem with Lex taking up so much screentime is threefold:
It takes away from Lena's growth and prolongs the rift era unnecessarily. She also has to put up with his abuse, which yuck and ouch. It would have made more sense for Lillian to come to her daughter and ask for Lena's help on a project, and Lena would have likely fallen for it. She'd have been in a fragile state already due to the whole weird Multi-verse Universe reset, so likely very confused after thinking she'd died. Then Kara showing up to warn her off her family. Then Lillian comes to request Lena's aid, but Lillian does not know that Lena is from Earth-38 and not her Lena. That would have added some fascinating tension, and it could have expanded upon the consequences of Crisis, which the showrunners failed to play into. So we never really get to have that Lillian-Lena team-up which would have justified the rift being prolonged. Lena will then discover something very upsetting, realize her project can never work, and then still ends up going to Supergirl for help. (Except this time, Kara isn't a righteous asshole. And that Episode 100 doesn't exist just to claim Kara was always right and can never be wrong nonsense. Instead, we get Kara realizing that she hurt Lena as much as Kryptonite hurts, and during Lena's return, Kara will also apologize. And the blame won't be only placed only on Lena's shoulders. Then we can have a reconciling/repair arc.) .
It steals Kara's thunder from her own show. Far too much of the narrative was placed on proving what a "genius" Lex is and how "genius" he'll always be and oh look he's a "genius." It was trite, irritating, unoriginal, and stole time away from Kara, her friends, Lena, and Lillian (vastly more interesting characters). Kara's adjustment to the new Multi-verse could have had more depth. Her struggle with her relationship with Lena and their reconciliation could have been explored more thoroughly. .
Alex and Kelly's relationship felt a bit rushed in Season 5 because again Lex takes up too much damn screen time, and we could have gotten more of Alex and Kelly working through hardships together. Where they find their footing on this new Earth. Where we see how Alex finally tells Kelly Kara = Supergirl and how they handle that.
I'm sure I can think of more reasons why Lex should not exist after Season 4. (Even Crisis would have gone smoother and been less annoying if Lex gets yeeted.)
Lena can take his place, and we can have the awkward Lena and Kara meeting again on the Monitor's ship. Lena is all bitter and sad but willing to help. Kara is trying to repair things.
Flash tries to befriend Lena, and that's when Lena learns that Kara won't stop talking her up to everyone she meets, so the entire group of superheros all think Lena is some amazing person who does no wrong. Lena is absolutely baffled and starts to wonder if maybe she needs to rethink the whole Kara situation.
Batwoman turns to Sara Lance and says, "these gals are so gay. I'll talk to both to see what's up." It sort of backfires. Kara won't admit to being in love. Lena does but assumes Kara just used her to keep an eye on the "Luthor," and Batwoman soon regrets saying anything.
Sara Lance finds this all somewhat amusing but also a little sad. So she decides to help by hitting on Lena, and Lena decides, why not, so flirts back. She swiftly learns that her flirts with Sara seems to make Kara quite upset, which Lena finds confusing and fascinating. Except Sara realizes that Lena is only flirting with her to poke at Kara, and so Sara bluntly says, "You're in love with her, aren't you?"
Lena glares at Sara. "That's besides the point."
"Is it? The sexual tension between you is so tight we could cut it with a knife. Seriously, just go up and kiss her. It'll solve everything." Sara winks. "Trust me."
Lena frowns. "I most certainly do not trust you on this." But she'll ponder if Sara is right the rest of Crisis.
Green Arrow says something misogynistic, which pisses off Lena who proceeds to eviscerate him. (She will later say kind words to help the others process his death as she's an expert in processing death at this point.)
Batwoman then whispers to Kara, "Holy shit that's hot. Is she taken?" This sparks Jealous!Kara, and Batwoman soon regrets saying anything again.
Sara then takes advantage of jealous!Kara and proceeds to poke her to try to get Kara to admit she's in love. This causes shenanigans that does not help the mission.
The Superman from the other universe will meet Lena with joy, and that's when Lena learns that Kara and her are an item there. She is quite upset to learn this and sulks a bit by hiding in a corner, while she continues to plot a way to solve the Monitor's Crisis. (Lena decides Crisis happened because the Monitor is a colossal idiot, so now a woman has to fix what a man broke again.)
Lena figures out a way to stop the Crisis but the Monitor doesn't heed her warning, and dies dramatically. She then comes up with a different solution with the other's help.
Okay, that sort of got away from me there.
Anyway:
This is why Lex stays dead in my Confession and Unraveling Realities stories. Lillian gets to rise up as an anti-hero, and Lena becomes the person the Monitor seeks out instead of Lex. (There's a magic-based reason why the Monitor can't bring back Lex, and it's explained in my lore and the Great Irish Quest as to the how and why of it. I like to have explainable lore unlike the writers of Supergirl *insert gif of Lena looking at the camera*).
Supercorp 11 ... ...how quickly I started shipping them when I got into the fandom.
So I'll be honest, I originally watched some of Supergirl (basically most of season 1 and 2) with my younger sister, who told me about how gay Alex is (I was surprised to find out that Alex is literally gay). Except Alex's arc sort of got sidelined by How Absolutely Gay Kara And Lena Are. What The Heck. Then the show tried to have Kara date the slaver-prince-jerk, and I was like, "NOPE."
So then I sort of forgot it existed and wandered off to watch (and rarely finish) other shows.
So during my Korrasami era, a few years ago, when I fell ill, I saw a GIF that looked like they kissed in the last episode. So I raced back to finish watching. Though I kind of had to remind myself of the story (like I had managed to somehow write Mon-el out of my memory, so I could not remember who that annoying guy was who kept lying to Kara in Season 3. So then I went back to rewatch episodes in 2, and was like, "Oh, it's the slaver prince, yuck. go yeet him again.")
Anyway, I got to the end, and found out the GIF WAS A LIE. They did not kiss.
I was so mad that I leaped into the fandom to see who had written about this tragedy of epic proportions in order to fix it. All that to say, before I even knew about the extent of this fandom, I'd already shipped them because what the heck.
They are so gay for each other. That was the best superhero romance love story I've ever seen and the show writers were too homophobic to let us have it. *grumbles grumpily*
No wonder this fandom still keeps going.
Alex Danvers 7. ...the scene that I think adds depth to their character or the relationship this character has with someone.
It's in season 5, where Alex is injured and Kelly panics about it. Alex manages to calm Kelly down and talk with her about how Kelly feels, why Kelly feels that way, and then Alex shares her own feelings. It's a truly touching scene, and shows the depth of her bond with Kelly. Honestly, I love that conversation they have.
Is it the Tsunami episode? Yeah, I think it's that one, since it's Alex at the docks struggling to get people to safety, but they are all wearing the VR contacts and in a VR environment, so it's like herding cats but worse.
Another great scene is when Alex's first attempt at adoption falls through, and her and Kelly have an incredibly touching scene that digs deep into their feelings. Kelly even shared a snippet from her past, and it hints strongly at something developing between them. That was lovely too. Honestly, all the scenes Alex has with Kelly are lovely, and I wish they'd dug even deeper.
Thank you for asking!! This was a lovely distraction from grief.
#fandom ask game#ask game#I got up to get water and called for Quark only to realize he's gone and started crying#So then I went to tumblr and found this ask and it distracted me from the grief#so thank you#but it's been hard to think straight due to everything awful happening lately so you get a rambling answer.

i wanna talk abt
the CW DC shows
man how far they fell…
Of course this list was prompted by the fact that the Flash is coming to an end, signaling the end of an era.
There’s a multitude of reasons why these shows went in flames:
troubling production, some truly awful plot lines, the racism, the queerbaiting…
however, the highs were so HIGH. Every once in a while, i’ll think about the crossovers and get happy nostalgia tingles. they were so iconic.
the penultimate memorable moments in each of the shows.
From the time Barry first broke the sound barrier, to the time Cisco DIED by Dr. Wells but barry ran so fast he went back in time and undid it, to the time Caitlyn’s dead fiancé came back, fused with an old ass professor, just to die again shortly afterwards 😂😂
From the time Oliver’s mom blew up the city with the help of the man she had an affair with (which ended up killing the guys whole son 🤡), to the time Oliver took Felicity to his mansion and told her he loved her as a mIsDiReCt, to the ENTIRE season 5.
From the time Kara came out as supergirl just to save her sister, to the time that same sister actually came out (which, at 14, was so important to me), to the first time Lena Luther is introduced and every time she’s in screen afterwards. (Season 2 was just *chefs kiss*)
and that’s just the main three. don’t tell me that when you think of legends of tomorrow, a good 5 scenes don’t immediately pop into your head. what a batshit crazy piece of media.
Now there’s a lot of discourse as to what started the spark that caught flame and caused this entire franchise to explode as horribly as it did.
some say that Barry going back in time and fucking with the timeline ruined it
some say that the beginning of the end was the batwoman show, one of the hottest messes to come out of the CW’s ass since riverdale’ third season
some even blame the death of captain cold. a very VALID complaint
regardless of what you think, i believe that now that the arrowverse is coming to it’s inevitable end, it’s a good time to look back and reminisce. With the writers strike happening (show your support btw), and the fact that streaming services are unwilling to release seasons with more than 10 episodes, i cherish the time i spent with these shows even more. i grew up with them (for reference, i was born in 2003, so i was 9 when arrow came out for the first time). My dad had the first 3 seasons of Arrow on dvd.
Iris was one of the first black women I saw on screen after transitioning out of my disney channel phase. And she wasn’t a side character or anything, she was a main character and the love interest of the superhero. regardless of what you think abt iris as a character, that shit just wasn’t the norm back in 2015.
When sara lance kissed the daughter of the head of league of assassins in front of her ex-boyfriend, and it was as just another tuesday in star city. such an important scene.
look, all this to say. I will miss this era***. even if I stopped watching the flash during the 8th season. i didn’t realize how comforting it was knowing it was still out there.
***i know the superman and lois hasn’t officially been cancelled yet. but i’m protecting my heart. cuz it’s a really good show.
Goodbye, Arrowverse

Finished my Batwoman rewatch.
Season 3 is so good. Some of the plot points are crazy as usual, but the relationships and the characters are just perfect. I love them.
I do wish we'd gotten to see what was next for Wildmoore. What was going to happen with Alice. How Mary and Luke were going to move on from the crap they went through this season.
I'm also kind of glad we didn't have to deal with whatever crazy zombie monsters they teased at the very end. Or with more Jet family drama.
Most of all, though, I just feel like we were so lucky to have this show. I mean, the first season got cut off early due to the pandemic and then the star left on really messy terms. The fact that they kept making the show despite all of that is kind of astonishing.
Have my fave gif and goodnight.

Steph media appearances, ordered chronologically: Batman Beyond Return of The Joker (small, unnamed cameo as Tim Drake's wife), LEGO Batman 1 & 3 (secret costume and DLC character, respectively, also her mask is available as a custom piece in LEGO DC Supervillains), Scribblenauts DC, Young Justice (small cameo in Season 2, bigger cameos in Season 3 & 4 as Spoiler), Batwoman (2019), in a Season 2 episode, Titans, a small cameo in the first Season 3 episode, Gotham Knights, main role through its one season, and quite annoyingly, her only confirmed LGBT counterpart (let Steph be bi, DC, we need it), Caped Crusader (small cameo as a child on one episode), Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (cameo in the beginning of the first episode)
Huh. Alright, that’s more than I thought.

Thoughts on Batman by Jewishness?
This one's harder mostly because Batman has had like a million fucking movies and shows and I have not seen even close to all of them - I didn't even find him that compelling as a character until I got into his children. Also we're defining Batman as Bruce Wayne because obviously Dick Grayson isn't Jewish and I don't know anything about Terry McGinnis and evil future Batman!Tim Drake might be Jewish but he's essentially a recurring what if character. Ok here we go
In last place we have Batfleck. Even if Ben Affleck had any interest in portraying Bruce Wayne jewishally, he sucked and I hate him in the role, so I'm giving him a -5/10 just for being in bad movies. Fuck you pick better scripts
After that we have the Dark Knight Trilogy Batman. Extremely well made and enjoyable movies. Not much like comic Batman imo. 1/10
Next we have Battinson. I actually don't mind this movie! I don't like it nearly as much as it seemed everybody else had, and I really wish we could get a Batman movie that acknowledges he has a fucking family in the year of our lord 5783, but it's still a good movie. However, no indication that Bruce is Jewish. I do however think this Bruce is way funnier, so extra points for making me laugh out loud in the theater repeatedly. 3/10
Up next is Lego Batman from the Lego Batman movie. I don't know he just gives me good vibes. He's got a Robin, which automatically puts him closer to comic canon than any other filmic version of Batman, making him Jewish by association. 5/10 I guess
I only watched one season of Gotham but hey, it was a pretty good season before I realized what I really wanted to be watching was Smallville, which I then proceeded to watch all ten seasons of over the course of four weeks (I was in, how you say, a depression). I probably would've watched more (see: in a depression), but there was only one season in existence at the time. It seemed fine to me, although I know a lot more about Batman now than I did then, but it seemed decently connected to the spirit of the comics. Bonus points for David Mazouz being a Jewish actor - the only Jewish actor on this list fyi - but at least in the one season I watched, he was not confirmed Jewish, so let's say a 7/10 (is this technically even a Batman? I have no idea what happens in the later seasons)
Finally we have our main continuity comic book Batman, the only (afaik) canonically Jewish Batman on this list! Batman was made Jewish by association when his maternal cousin, Kate Kane aka Batwoman, was created as an explicitly Jewish character. Sidenote, she's a great character and I adore her. But yeah although he is essentially canonically Jewish it's never actually addressed within his stories - he's only ever spoken about his father being Christian and him not following in his footsteps, as far as I know. I give it a 9/10, losing a point for only being Jewish on a technicality. DC, like Marvel, are also cowards
Honorable mention to any animated movie based directly on a comic such as the Under the Red Hood movie being Jewish by association as well. Let's give that archetype of Bruce a 7.5/10
