the little queen lets out a shaky sigh. her body is battered and bruised from the last tournament, but she emerged victorious. finally, she is Queen above Queens. the title she has craved for so long.

it was a surprise to everyone when instead of staying to celebrate (and heal), she left the realm. came right back into the god king's court, the bloody offerings of combat still clinging to her dress and skin. the doors were already open, surely expecting her. after all, her place was upon him, not a cold throne.

addicted. that is the only word for it. but she could not help her fascination. he is her religion. the sharpened knife that so gently sliced her skin every night. his words alone taste like ambrosia and she swallows them with a slow inhale.

Rad Race Battle in Hamburg, 19.08.2017

Arg verspätet melde ich mich heute zum Rad Race Battle in Hamburg zurück. Aber aufgeschoben ist ja nicht aufgehoben :)

Das Rad Race Battle findet immer ein Tag vor den Hamburg Cyclassics statt. So waren viele Vertreter aus der Radsportbranche vertreten und es lohnt sich immer wieder hier vorbei zu schauen. So schlenderte ich vor dem Rennen noch von Stand zu Stand und kam bei Biehler Cycling zum Schwärmen. Ein wunderschönes Kit und pinke Socken mussten mit!!!

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblings Locations für ein Battle ist definitiv die Mönckebergstraße in Hamburg. 

Wie jedes Jahr war die Strecke mit vielen Zuschauern, dank der beliebten Einkaufsmeile, besucht.

Klar, Hamburger Wetter gab es auch – es regnete zwischendurch, aber die Stimmung war durchweg klasse! Ingo von Rad Race hat uns Sportler und die Zuschauer ordentlich eingeheizt und bei Laune gehalten.

Die Vorläufe konnte ich gut nutzen um mich mit meiner Übersetzung anzufreunden. Im Viertelfinale traf ich auf Maike Lange, die diese Saison echt super Sprünge nach vorn gemacht hat. Dennoch konnte ich diesen Lauf für mich entscheiden und traf anschließend im Halbfinale auf Karla Sommer. Hier kristallisierte sich ganz klar heraus, wer die neue Battlequeen 2017 wird.

Um Platz drei kämpfte ich also gegen Silja Ketelsen. Sijla hat einen mega Start hingelegt, so dass ich ganz schön treten musste. Kurz vorm Ziel aber konnte ich Silja ganz knapp überholen und sicherte mir den begehrten Platz auf dem Podium.

Am Ende des Tages siegte Karla Sommer vor der wirklich fantastisch gefahrenen Tini Dreher (von Tini werden wir sicher noch öfter hören) und vor mir. Eine Kiste Becks eroberte ich, da ich die schnellste Zeit gefahren bin :)

Bei den Jungs ist der #Endgegner Mattias John mit BMX angetreten und lieferte eine hammer Performance ab. Leider aber konnte er von Max Höflich, der ebenfalls am Ende Dritter mit schnellster Zeit wurde, ihn aus dem Rennen kicken.

I drew a zerg battlequeen,inspired by Zagara (IDK spelling?) in Starcraft 2's co-op. Videogames need more monstrous ladies! Not everything has to be a variation of hot women with barely anything else changing. Gets boring. So yay for Zagara and other cool designs like Guildwars 2 female Char!

You should absolutely see it.  I have some problems with the way it was paced (too much landscape, not enough stuff happening at times), but I think the lead actress was great, it’s pretty solidly written, it’s gorgeous to look at, the costuming is something else, and it’s just...nice.  The friends I went with (all also over 35) enjoyed it.  Black Panther provides shining examples of black excellence and strength, and raises important questions about responsibility.  Wrinkle in Time talks about the power of love in the face of hate, how hate twists people’s minds, and recognizing your own worth.  They are very different films, but we as a society need the messages provided by both.

I don’t think it was 100% my cup of tea, even though I was super into L’Engle when I was 12, but...I’m not the same person I was when I was 12 (fortunately). I think this movie would have been really important and good for 12-year-old me.  Please see it.

Did a joint review of Dragon Fury and BattleQueen 2020 and Again Tumblr flagged them cause the movie covers have noted boobage on them (get covered) So we shall see what happens.. I have rarely been so edgy on the internet hahaha.. I'm a legit bad ass I guess haha. I mean the movies stunk so you are not missing much.. BUT this is the issue with the new tumblr. Sigh... kinda funny though
