我本來以為我會沒時間到這���潛水，但在Arugam Bay衝浪人實在太多，我決定提早離開，就轉來這裡看看。

大部分西方遊客都在市區北邊的 Uppuveli，或是Alles Garden，這區尤其多潛店，但我八月底去時能見度很差，只下了兩支。

來這裏大概都是學潛水的比較多，因為價格很便宜，或是早上搭船出去看海豚和日出，至於以前熱門的看鯨魚行程，也因為已經兩年沒有鯨魚了，所以業者都只會說他們不能保證看到。

這裡的海灘都是西方遊客穿比基尼躺沙灘，也有不少賣西方食物的貴貴咖啡店和餐廳。

而在靠近市區的 Dutch Bay 海灘大概都只有當地人在這裡玩水，當地女生都是穿著衣服直接下水，沒有人在這裡躺沙灘。但是這裡是一個小海灣，所以水面很平靜，海水反而更清澈，南邊角落甚至還可以浮潛。

市區有幾座印度廟很漂亮。

交通方式：

我從Arugam Bay一路搭巴士過來，一共換了五班車，花了約八小時。首先Arugam Bay到Pottuvi這段很近，如果叫嘟嘟車是500盧比，我是每天早上出門衝浪都有注意公車經過的時間，所以離開那天跳上6:50左右從Pannama開過來經過大街的巴士，十分鐘就到Pottuvi了，車上小哥都還來不及跟我收錢，我下車後走向他要付錢，他手一揮說下次吧！所以這段免費。

接下來我想等去Batticaloa的車，然後再轉車去Trincomalee，所以七點半有一班只到Kalmunai的巴士我就沒上車，結果八點半前後來了兩輛寫著Batticaloa的巴士，一班說等下十點才要發車，另一班是下午兩點。現場只剩下旁邊一輛只到Akkaraipattu的巴士，我別無選擇，8:40發車後約10:00到車站，車資200盧比，下車後車站出口正好有一輛車寫著Kalmunai，上車後馬上發車，約一小時到車站，車資120盧比。

在這裡下車後馬上看到後面一輛寫著Batticaloa的巴士要發車，我沒多想就趕緊上車，找到位置坐好後，正好回頭就看到再後面有一輛巴士76號寫著Trincomalee，但我已經來不及跳下去換車了。這輛車花了約一個半小時到Batticaloa，車資200盧比。下車後我剛好有時間買個冰棒吃，吃完剛剛看到那輛76巴士也抵達，下午一點換上這班可以到Tricomalee的車就放心了，車資550盧比，最後我在下午四點半總算到Trincomalee。

後來才了解，他們說 Pottuvi 到 Batticoloa 很多車，是包括那些短程只到半路 Akkaraipatu 或 Kalmunai 的車，這段路程的巴士通通是881號，但可能只跑其中一段，所以最好的其實是 Pottuvi 到 Kalmunai，然後可以直接轉76號巴士，從Kalmunai起站到Tricomalee終站，這樣也比較容易有位置坐。
