yeah i like that tag! and yeah they do not at all. new wave is kind of the predecessor of emo-y goth music and heavy metal is very much like a solid wall of noise. i like both personally tho. nightcore is.... ok in moderation. somehow every Hollywood Undead song gets better when it’s nightcore tho.

good examples of new wave music are “Personal Jesus” by Depeche Mode and “Blue Monday” by New Order. it’s all very overwrought and emo but also really good?

peri you get it. i think the ultimate wt happy ending is that chika convinces both of them that in fact they are each the greatest danger to their own health and wellbeing, which traps them in a feedback loop where they both keep trying to stop the other from randomly running towards danger Because Reasons, which gets them into more trouble but quarantines whatever they have going on to two people who are obsessed with each other, sort of like a quarantine zone for complete weirdos. i am writing three different fics about them
