David Bromwich parses Lazarus’ message:

Inizia oggi la residenza creativa per la ricerca e la composizione del nuovo spettacolo di Alessandro Marzotto Levy. Irene è il titolo del progetto, selezionato da DNAppunti coreografici 2022 – progetto di sostegno per giovani coreografi e coreografe under 35, che si trova oggi nell'ultima tappa di residenza prima del debutto a Romaeuropa Festival.

IRENE affronta la perdita. Attraversa lo spazio creato dalla mancanza. Il corpo sente, rivela, stabilisce un contatto con l’assenza che attraverso la danza torna presente. La danza è il tentativo di relazionarsi con l’invisibile, di affrontare il tempo. Sembra assurdo ricostruire il senso di un passato di gioia, follia, rabbia che tornano e sconvolgono. In un istante IRENE si slega dalla linearità per intraprendere un percorso caotico che diventa celebrazione.
