Gentle tendrils of sunrise drifted quietly through the cracks of the slated blinds, waking Tech from his slumber. He inhaled deeply, blinking the sleep from his eyes. He rolled over to his side and with nimble fingers, plucked his goggles from the bedside table, careful not to jostle the sleeping figure next to him. A smile crept through his lips as he lay back down, sinking into the warm mattress, bathed in golden sunlight. It had been a long, long time since he'd gotten anywhere close to feeling so well rested. So peaceful.

Tech propped himself up onto his elbow, overlooking his sleeping companion. She was so beautiful. So kind, and bathed in the golden glow of sunlight, Tech likened her to a star.

The sensation of fingers lightly running up and down your arm pulled you from a deep sleep. An unbidden grin snuck it's way over your lips, giving away the fact that you were no longer asleep.

"How fascinating..." He whispered, fingers running through your hair.

"Hmm?" You turned to face him, opening your eyes. Tech chuckled as he brushed the hair from your face, tucking it behind your ear.

"I was simply admiring the way the sunlight frames your face. Even asleep you are beautiful. It's fascinating."

Pulling him close, you planted a kiss on his nose.

"You're just saying that because you want me to stay in bed with you."

”Well, yes..." he replied sheepishly.

You giggled and rolled your eyes.

"Tech you know I have to go to work soon."

His fingers traced across your collarbone.

"I know," he sighed. "But I did very much mean what I said." He took your hand. "You are truly beautiful."

You sighed, the blissful moment shattered by an unexpected flash of melancholy.

"Do you really think that?"

Tech blinked, unsure where the sudden change in tone had shifted.

He pressed his lips to your forehead.

"I do."

The fleeting offense floated back into the melancholic abyss from whence it came as you smiled warmly into the warmth of his neck. He smelt like grease and gunsmoke.

"Prove it."

You felt him raise an eyebrow and smirk against the skin below your collarbone where his lips lay on their path to smoothly kiss his way down your body. He turned his head towards you.

"I know that look. Do not try to tempt me with those beautiful eyes of yours, cyare. I thought you needed to get ready for work?"

"I can call in sick."

what designer scents would the jojos wear?

about a year ago now I posted one of my first headcanons, which was the bath and body works scents of the animated jojos. i now give you, the classy, upscale, version of whatever was running through my head then

jonathan joestar - gentleman (1974) by givenchy

top notes: honey, cinnamon, rose, tarragon, bergamot, and lemon

middle notes: patchouli, cedar, orris root, and jasmine

base notes: patchouli, leather, civet, oakmoss, vetiver, musk, amber and vanilla

this scent has an air of elegance to it, while still having a warm and rich feeling. it's a timeless scent that never goes out of style. the recent reformulation has it drying down stronger honey-wise, but that's alright, because like jonathan, its got that sweet side. the leather also gives it the "manly" vibe too. overall, it's cozy, elegant, and the scent of a true gentleman like jonathan.

young joseph joestar - dior sauvage

top notes: calabrian bergamot, pepper

middle notes: sichuan pepper, lavender, pink pepper, vetevier, patchouli, germanium, elemi

base notes: ambroxan, cedar, labdanum

if you know anything about this fragrance, you'll know why it's fitting. to me, it really smells like a muskier axe body spray, but a lot of people really like it and claim it's overhated, and here i am giving it to my favorite joestar. he definitely thinks it makes him smell rich and suave and maybe even elegant (because its dior), but he really smells like most of the other guys his age at the club. caesar absolutely clowns him for it, but he doesn't care. this scent comes on strong, some people dig it, some don't, just like joseph.

old joseph joestar - maison martin margiela "replica" jazz club

top notes: pink pepper, neroli, lemon

middle notes: rum, java vetiver oil, clary sage

base notes: tobacco leaf, vanilla bean, styrax

after many years of sauvage, holly came along and got a nose full of it when joseph picked her up, she called out how strong it was and made her nose itchy, and he needed to switch it up because anything to make his little girl happy! this scent is a bit different, leaning more towards his grandfather's choices in the warm and sweetness, but it still has that bite of pink pepper right at that front, you know it's still the same joseph you know and love. a more mature perfume for a more mature man, but still has an air of fun to it.

jotaro kujo - armani acqua di gio

top notes: lemon, lime, bergamot, jasmine, orange, mandarin orange, neroli

middle notes: "sea notes," calone, jasmine, rosemary, peach, freesia, hyacinth, cyclamen, violet, coriander, rose, nutmeg, mignonette

base notes: musk, cedar, oak moss, patchouli, amber

this applies to all parts y'all! his mommy got it for him as a stocking stuffer for christmas and not once has he ever changed it out. it smells fresh and clean without the overbearing spices, and the warmth of musk and amber balances out the citrus and florals, creating a timeless scent. it's quite popular among men, but jotaro doesn't really care, he likes it. the sea notes also fit well with the marine biology. when he's young, he uses it only for important events, but as he ages (and has more money) he finds himself reaching for it more and more often.

josuke higashikata - terre d'hermès

top notes: orange, grapefruit

middle notes: pepper, pelargonium, flint

base notes: vetiver, cedar, patchouli, benzoin

he's gotta spend that lotto money on something! or dad's money! like his father once did, he wants a scent that makes him seem rich and suave and awesome, however, josuke has a little more fun with it as that initial bite is not with pepper, but a bitter citrus. the spices still just tickle the nose, delivering a balanced, smooth, blend. he may have even taken notes from jotaro's citrus scent as well, who's to say? its got a vintage flair, but it still feels modern, its just an overall unique scent, you're not gonna find anyone else wearing something like this.

giorno giovanna - versace pour homme

top notes: lemon, bergamot, neroli, rose de mai

middle notes: hyacinth, cedar, clary sage, geranium

bottom notes: tonka bean, musk, amber

this versatile and underrated scent i feel gives the perfect scent profile for giorno. it may not be overly extravagant, but understated elegance is precisely what makes it so endlessly enjoyable. it can be worn day or night, dressed up or down, and its versatility makes it great for whatever he may do. i had said in my bath and body works post a while ago he'd reserve designer cologne for occasions, but thinking about it now, this is something he'd wear on the daily.

jolyne kujo - gucci flora gorgeous gardenia

top notes: pear blossom, red berries, italian mandarin

middle notes: gardenia, jasmine, frangipani

bottom notes: brown sugar, patchouli

i had a couple ideas for jolyne, but i ended up picking gucci because i thought of the jojo x gucci collab and felt it was perfect. this scent doesn't overpower, but is still captivating in its own unique way. the sweetness of the top notes combined with the white florals offers a fresh scent always is going to turn heads. jolyne is a creative and smart character and does things in her own way, and quite honestly, i feel like this blend reflects that. not much else to it.

The floral blood is weird. I think it'd make more sense for Bella's blood to smell like chocolate. Her scent is described as sweet, and she's associated with the colour brown (brown hair, brown eyes which I think are even described as 'chocolate brown'). Maybe it's a bit cheesy and obvious, but at least chocolate is actually an appetising smell.

Right?! 

You can make it ‘nice’ and still be like, food related. Even something like wine maybe could work. Wine can have floral notes but it’s still something you drink. Being driven to the brink of murdering a whole classroom of people over the scent of freesia is just such a weird choice. 

Chocolate could work. Decadent, rich, hard to resist. Much more the vibe than lavender. I mean I’ve had lavender tea and rose water is a thing but it just doesn’t ~feel right in terms of irresistibly delicious. 

Or something savory, or at least salty? It’s weird that Bella is like “oh I can smell blood, it’s like rust and pennies” or whatever and Edward’s like “wow she can smell blood that’s weird.” But HER scent is not rust and pennies, it’s freesia and lavender, which sounds like a delightful scent for a fabric softener or Bath and Body Works candle, but not something that would drive you to murder. 

But it’s part of what makes Twilight so intriguingly weird!

Admittedly, I haven’t really thought about what artists are my favorite, more so which art periods are (which would be Pre-Raphaelite and Renaissance, among others), but I think I’d have to say Sir John Everett Millais, in particular for his paintings The Two Princes Edward and Richard in the Tower and Ophelia, which are some of my all time favorites.

Favorite Poet/Writer:

Now this is a hard one. There are so many cool writers and poets out there that I absolutely adore! I’d have to say that at the moment, my favorite writer would probably be either Tui T. Sutherland, George R.R. Martin, or Troy Denning.

Favorite Singer:

Honestly, I don’t even know if I technically have a favorite singer at the moment. I haven’t really thought about it… I guess if I had to say anyone, it might be AURORA, just because I’ve been listening to her a lot lately, and I love how ethereal her voice sounds.

Favorite Band:

The Jonas Brothers, hands down. I only just got into their music within the past year, but I love it so much, and when I went to their concert recently, it was so amazing. They’re totally iconic.

Favorite Meal and Drink:

Gotta say, I’m a big fan of the classic steak and potatoes (specifically a baked potato with ranch), with a salad entirely composed of lettuce and green onion (with Parmesan cheese and Olive Garden dressing on top) and some nice, buttered rolls on the side. As for a drink, I’m honesty content with a Dr. Pepper. I love that stuff. However, I do also love a good virgin Pina Colada or Shirley Temple too.

Favorite Outfit aesthetic/style?:

I’m a big fan of 80s and 90s style. I love all the bright colors and denim and just general vibes of the era of fashion.

Fun little prompt: Genji runs a little online shop in where he makes personalized scented metal and armor polishes. Which characters of the roster (regardless of affiliation) are putting in special orders, what are their requests and reason behind them?

Mercy was getting headaches from the antiseptic features of the valkyrie suit so she wanted something that would cut the alcohol/ozone scent slightly. She actually ended up sitting down with Genji to put together a custom scent because she was probably the first he floated the idea to. Her scent is a very clean-but-not-sharp smelling linen musk, sandalwood, and just the teensiest hint of freesia.

Tracer's gauntlets aren't metal and are in fact some kind of plastic alloy that doesn't actually need armor polish. That did not stop her from quietly bringing Emily's shampoo and deodorant to Genji and asking him to "Make one that smells like these." It took him like... two weeks to nail the scent notes down but he got it. The gauntlets smell like chamomile, oats, lemon, and honey. Which is funny because the rest of Tracer just smells like her cheapass 5-in-1 Green Apple Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash + Bubble Bath + Deodorizer. Emily why did you marry her.

Moira, ironically, also ended up being one of the earliest customers back in Blackwatch. Cassidy wouldn't stop griping about the smell of her biotics (they really don't smell like anything, I think it's mostly just an averse reaction to the whole... 'I don't like being sprayed with weird shit even if it does heal' thing) and Genji decided to venture outside of his usual walnut oil-based armor polish-making to incorporate juniper berries. Moira still has a small vial of it even though she's full Talon now--there's only the dregs left and Moira knows she's not exactly in a position to order a refill.

Cassidy made a commission post-Recall for his prosthetic. His polish smells like hops with a faint caramelized barley undertone.

There was a period where Winston got really self-conscious about his gorilla funk, but didn't really want to heap on a scent that would just make things worse. They ended up going with a combination of vetiver and eucalyptus. Very distinguished and classy! And the eucalyptus helps Winston focus on lab work! He almost feels guilty on missions because tanking means most of the smell gets scorched off of him.

i like both. i usually only wear perfume for special occasions and my faves are cool water (woman) and coco mademoiselle by chanel. i like it when men wear cologne too (as long as they don't smell like they bathed in it lol). i like drakkar noir...it reminds me of my dad so i don't know that i'd want a lover to wear it lol. i just really like the smell of it. and i like acqua di gio (mmm). BUT my absolute favorite is black tie by bath & body works. omfggldjf;lsdjsdf THAT SHIT IS SEX IN A BOTTLE PLEASE. if i smell that on a man i immediately want to jump his bones.
