Helloooooo every puppy! as a basic summary, I am a 19 year old Agender dog thing from the US. I currently use he/it pronouns. Dms and Anons are on.

Magical Oil Recipes - Buffs and Blessings Edition

For anyone looking to brew up a potion for the purposes of augmentation or blessing, here are some recipes I’ve created that you might find useful.

To prepare them, blend the ingredients in such proportions as feels correct for your purposes (or as supplies allow). Use dried material except where indicated. Place a few spoonfuls in a mason jar with a screwtop lid and fill the jar with a bland oil of your choice. (Vegetable oil of the sort you would buy for cooking works fine.) Screw the lid on tightly and shake well to combine, then leave the jar in a dark dry place for 2-4 weeks to steep.

Once steeped, prepare a clean storage bottle (also with a secure lid) and label with the type of oil and the bottling date. Strain the oil through paper towels or cheesecloth to remove the plant material, then bottle immediately. Store away from sunlight and heat for up to one year. Use for spellwork as you see fit.

(Please note that NONE of these potions are meant to be taken internally by any means. Observe all proper safety measures related to glass, fire, and potentially harmful plants as necessary during preparation.)

*- Ingredient is potentially harmful if inhaled or ingested. **- Ingredient should not be used or handled if you are pregnant or nursing.

Dad Oscar List

The Piastri’s had two dogs, Rosie had passed recently and Oscar was upset, it was one of his childhood dogs. However, they got Basil a while back and Mila has yet to meet him.

They arrived for the race at Nicole’s house and Oscar carried Mila in, she was exhausted from the traveling. She was somehow awake. When they walked in Basil was barking and Mila was confused. She had met dogs before, they walk all over town, but they don’t bark at her.

“Basil calm down!” Hattie yelled before opening the door for them. There was the culprit, a little white dog wagging its tail. “Hey Os, Mila!” Hattie greeted them.

Oscar noticed Mila tense and stare at Basil. He hugged his sister and she hugged them. They walked in and settled down, Basil following them around. When Oscar went to set Mila down she fussed and held onto him tighter. “No daddy!!” She whined.

“What’s wrong Mila?” He asked. She usually loved being at her Mimi’s house, why the sudden change? Basil wagged his tail ready to greet Mila and she started crying when Oscar insisted she get down.

The cries from Mila alerted his sisters and they filed by the room. Mila jumping on the bed to get away and Basil following her, excited to see her. She was screaming now and Oscar picked her up again.

“Is she okay?” Hattie asked. Mila was never scared of Rosie, but she was laid back and calm. Basil was overexcited and loud. “Is it because of Basil?”

“He is different from Rosie Osc, she probably is scared of him.” Mae jumped in. She picked up Basil and he calmed down. Mila clung to Oscar with red cheeks and tears. Edie heard the commotion and saw Mila’s state.

“What’s wrong?” She asked Mila in a baby voice, offering her hold to her. Mila went into her arms and pointed to the white fluffy dog in Mae’s arms. “Basil?” Edie asked. Mila nodded at her aunt.

“He’s not scary love, he’s really super sweet.” Hattie explained. Oscar began unpacking while they calmed Mila down, his arm getting the break it desperately needed. “He’s really soft, do you want to pet him?” In all reality he resembled Rosie in a way.

Mila shook her head no and the girls left it alone. “Okay, that’s ok.” Mae said, walking away with the dog.

“Does she usually react this way with dogs?” Edie asked. Oscar turned and shook his head. They were literally everywhere they went, but never once did he suspect she’d be scared of them.

“We see them all the time, granted she doesn’t pet them or hear them bark.” Oscar explained. “She hasn’t met Leo or Roscoe either so I can see where she’s getting the scary part.”

“She wasn’t scared of Rosie though.” Hattie said. Mila perked up and allowed her aunt to let her down, no dog in sight to scare her. Mila went to the picture on the nightstand of Rosie and Oscar.

“Rosie!” She said. Oscar praised her recognition skills and rubbed her back. “She was nice, not mean.” She said to Oscar.

“Angel, Basil isn’t mean, he’s just different.” Oscar explained. “He’s loud isn’t he?” Oscar knew Mila had a sensitivity to sound and barking could 100% be the reason she was scared of him. She nodded.

“He only barks when there’s someone at the door.” Hattie said. “It’s his way of telling us someone is there, like a doorbell.” She used an easy analogy and Mila nodded at her.

“Yeah he isn’t mean when you get to know him, Mila.” Edie said. As a precaution, Mila insisted Oscar carry her into the main room. Basil now laying on the couch, quiet like Rosie would. “See?” Edie confirmed.

She still held onto Oscar for dear life as they walked to the kitchen to greet his mum. “There’s my baby.” She said holding her arms out for Mila. Nicole took her from Oscar and showered her in kisses. “And my other baby.” She said before doing the same with Oscar. Mila giggled as her Mimi attacked Oscar with kisses.

“We’ve come to the conclusion that Mila is scared of Basil.” Oscar said. “So be wary of the two.” He said. Nicole frowned and Mila looked at her guilty.

“Don’t force it mum, we tried.” Hattie laughed. “If we can’t influence her, you can’t.”

I literally have no fears of dogs whatsoever, so if this is shit I’m sorry 😭😭
