the basics

So for those who've found me here, hi. I've been getting slowly even less visible and vocal for a while now as most of the stuff going on in my life is either not mine to talk about or not for advertisers to mine. I'm not a repost machine so maybe I don't belong here, but Feral Tomatoes has never really grabbed me and I do have another outlet on this site (comics based on Duolingo, if you're interested), so this seemed like the best place to land.

If you've noticed that my original personal site has, erm, shrunk in the last while: first off, I'm impressed; and secondly, my sincere thanks to you for caring. There have been so many piracy incidents in recent years that it was a matter of protection in case Wayback records and holographic copies don't prove that my 140k new versions (and whatever word count book 3 ends up being) are MY remasterings of MY old 20-40k work. (I care a lot less about the poetry.) But if I post snippets, vague "character does this" stuff, etc., this is the stuff it's about. Searchable, as mentioned, but I don't recommend it.

Over the years, I've acquired an extremely antisocial tween, a couple of very unwelcome medical conditions, a Minecraft addiction, and an ability to bake many things without recipes. These may also come up.

Fenton Coded

Tim... Tim just stared.

He...

Huh.

He had once entertained the idea that he wasn't really a Drake, a very long time ago when he overheard his mom and dad arguing and some words were said in the heat of the moment, but to be honest Tim always thought the obvious culprit of anyone being his dad would most likely be Bruce (Bruce even admitted he had a small fling with his mother but that was two years before her marriage)

But before little Tim's curiosity could really take hold on the idea, he had saw on the news Robin performing a Grayson flip and the hint of Tim not being a Drake left his mind. Robin was Dick Grayson! And if he was Robin that had to mean Bruce Wayne was Batman!

Then well... his stalking of the Bats started and the rest became history.

But now, as Tim was staring at his own DNA test, something he never bothered to do until that damned Demon brat wanted to make sure he was ONLY blood son of Bruce (and doing a DNA test something even Bruce never thought of doing due to well… how he was towards Tim during his first months as Robin)

He well…

He kinda needs to find out who this Daniel Jackson Fenton is.

(Tim finds out he isn’t a Drake, but also not a Wayne (because Damian wanted to make sure he was only blood son) but is instead a Fenton)

Danny didn’t think about his early years prior to his adoption by the Fentons. Sure, he could still remember them, but he wanted that chapter of his life to remain firmly behind him. The part of him that had been Danyal was dead and buried.

But then his parents’ portal opened on top of him, and that history became all too important again.

His mind may have long since healed from the madness of the Pit Rage, but the taint of the Lazarus Waters from his resurrections still clung to his soul.

Guided, the addition of pure ectoplasm would have washed away those wounds. But there was no guiding intelligence behind what was happening. No grander plot. Just the energies of the portal taking whatever path was needed to complete their circuit.

And thus, as the ectoplasm rewrote Danny’s DNA into a half-ghost form, it also empowered the remnants of the Lazarus Pit’s effects.

Emotions from those whom the League had killed had long seeped their way into the ectoplasm of the Lazarus Pits, but they had been faint. Far weaker than full ghosts, barely even echoes. Enough to cause the Pit Rage, but no more.

But with the influx of pure ectoplasm, those echoes grew.

And so when Danny emerged from the portal, it was with a choir of countless angry voices screaming into his brain to avenge them, to raze the League to the ground until nothing remained.

"Let's play a game of 'How well do you know your kids?'" The being shouted, eyebrow still twitching from Robins latest remark.

"I know all my children perfectly." Batman growled at the entity. He held his ground as the spirits (demons?) smile sharpened, "Than you won't mind!"

A puff of purple glowy smoke engulfs then entire area and the next thing anyone knows is that all of Bruces children, even the ones who weren't with them previously, are locked inside magical cages while Batman is trapped in a invisible mime box with a podium and a microphone in what is quite possibly the most garish game show set up ever.

Why was everything neon green and purple? Why was the guy neon green and purple? Who were these other kids-gdi Bruce! You have more kids?

Danny could just transform and beat up the ghost. Its a pretty weak one after all. But this one doesn't seem to recognize him as a halfa and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do his homework without being attacked.

Jason stared at the kid next to him. What kinda life did this kid have to calmly get out his math homework and start solving problems while being held hostage by an unknown entity?! And with the bats no less?!

All the while Batman is getting peppered with questions about his kids and is realizing he doesn't recognize a few of the names.

okay I am a bit embarrassed but what does MK being demisexual mean for SpicyNoodles mk gets flustered but is this out of romantic or sexual or aesthetic attraction towards red son and does MK want to have sex with him or is he not into him that way my knowledge of the asexuality spectrum is very limited so if you could explain some stuff that would be a blessing.

He is romantically attracted to him. He wants to do the typical romantic stuff with him rn. He can be aesthetically attracted to him, but at the moment he ain't sexually attracted by him. That might come with more time and they might take things slow.

For a demi people, sexual attraction only comes after they developed a strong connection to their partner/person of interest.

i decided to change a little bit about the bäckahäst humanoid form, and realised that they have some superficial similarities to skogsrå, so heres a thing ironing out their differences a little

Okay, so a big observation I've made about Four that really makes me enjoy his character more: unlike most of the others, who hide their abilities either out of distrust, disinterest, or shame, Four hides his for the drama.

Look at the look on his face when people ask about the Four Sword.

Like, clearly he's leery of surprise because of it, but he isn't sorry for having it, I don't think, at least not for the most part. That boy is proud of it. He doesn't tell them what it can do because he'd rather show them what it can do.

I mean, every time someone finds out about his secret he's just all :3

This boy may not have asked for the abilities he got but he sure does love to show them off when he gest the chance, and I honestly love that for him. It's about time these boys were proud of what they could accomplish, they deserve it.

(It also explains why he can keep his own secrets so well when he is garbage at keeping other's secrets - it's because he wants to be dramatic and surprise them LOL)

This update has definitely made me appreciate Four more <3

crazy how the sanshee plush is one of the few actual direct confirmations on what a non-act 2 Natsuki’s home life is like because of how cagey she is on literally everything. Like this isn’t anything surprising or something you wouldn’t be able to extrapolate from the games but unlike everything else we know about her the implications are right there on the tin.

They literally did the character bio trope where where all the likes are normal but the dislikes are about their very specific trauma it’s just so funny they did that on the plushie card

You think Sanji never told Zeff his actual birthday? And it’s because maybe:

1) It never was actually celebrated and even if it was he probably would have been excluded anyway

2) He doesn’t wanna share a day with his so called brothers anymore

So instead Zeff took it upon himself to declare the day he decided to adopt Sanji also to be the boy’s birthday. It’s wildly off from his actual birthday but Sanji still takes it because he actually gets to experience his first ever birthday party and his first ever birthday cake and birthday presents and birthday wishes! For once he felt special, he felt like he actually mattered, that he’s allowed to exist.
