…initial thoughts of High School Years from a CAS perspective for females

A+ • the outfit featured in look #1 • the hairs featured in looks #1 & #2 are GORGEOUS [the detail!] • the the top and bottom combo featured in look #2 is STUNNING [love those flares] • the 90s VIBE • the tucked in top featured in look #5 • NEW BLUSH NEW BLUSH NEW BLUSH [this is not a drill!] • NEW FRECKLES

C + • while i really like the hair featured in look #3, i wish the headband was a separate accessory with different swatches • no new piercings - a lip one would have been nice • i was kind of hoping for more shoes

F • i know it’s a teen pack but the lack of assets for tots and kiddos is pretty poor [at least throw in a new pair of shoes or something] • the sandal pair of shoes [not featured], they’re just a bit awkward looking • no new earrings • not a lot of choices for prom outfits • there’s a pair of jeans [probably rigged for the male form] that suffers from inverted crotch syndrome] • there’s a short hairstyle that only has the ombré version whereas males have the style without the ombré as an option too [this baffles me!]

O V E R A L L • LOVE LOVE the detail in the hairs - these are chef’s kiss! • IN LOVE with the 90s style [hello clueless!] • i feel OVERWHELMED with all of these assets in a GOOD WAY • i’m hard pressed to find things that i don’t like about the female assets [apart from tots and kiddos getting the shaft], i feel like they’ve really stepped up their game, especially with the details on the clothing! BRAVO!

teen - elder: female • 2 hats [+ 2 to be unlocked through gameplay] • 12 hairs [1 is ombre versions of the same hair] • 1 pair of glasses, 4 necklaces, 1 boutonnière • 2 eyeshadows, 2 eyeliners, 1 BLUSH [yaaay!] • 30 tops [+ 5 to be purchased at the thrift store] • 13 full body outfits [+ 2 to be purchased at the thrift store] • 23 bottoms [+ 2 to be purchased at the thrift store] • 1 bracelet [corsage], 1 pair of socks • 2 pairs of shoes  • NEW freckles

A+ • the top and bottoms featured in look #1 - i feel like the shorts would be great for sk8er bois • the hair and detail of it featured in look #1 • the outfit featured in look #3 • the bucket hat featured in look #4 • NEW FACIAL HAIR • the 90s VIBE • the fact that males got more tops than females [HA! - take that] • NEW BLUSH NEW BLUSH NEW BLUSH [haven’t had any new blushes since get to work] • NEW FRECKLES

C + • no jeans are all oversized or flared, i would have liked to have seen some relaxed fit ones • i only really like one of the hairs, the others are ok [maybe just not on this model] • no new piercings - i feel like this would have been a good pack to have them in • the cropped pants featured in looks #2 & #5 look like assets we already have in game

F • i know it’s a teen pack but the lack of assets for tots and kiddos is pretty poor [at least throw in a new pair of shoes or something] • there’s a pair of sweats that just look unfinished [default swatch is pink] - they look like they could have dropped in the original base game release • the lack of unique shoes and hairs unique to males is really poor, i really would have liked to have seen more • one of the tops [sleeveless, default pattern yellow checked] bleeds onto the skin • there’s only one full body out that i really like [featured in look #3] - the others are a graduation gown and 2 sports team uniforms [that’s what they look like] • the fact that there’s not as many assets to be purchased at the thrift store as there are for females • the new freckles and blush are not available for tots and kiddos

O V E R A L L • i’m impressed with the range of tops of males • overall not impressed with the majority of the hairs [still love the one featured in look #1] • i feel like ONCE AGAIN males got the shaft compared to females. i really think that males need more of their own unique assets • TOTALLY digging the 90s VIBE though
