his hair isn’t very visibly damaged despite getting it dyed frequently / basically not having black hair since he was probably fifteen years old (and he’s nineteen now, so that says something) so he has to take good care of it not to have it fried off

i love watching him on stage because he’s the best performer ever. like he seems to genuinely enjoy it and i hope he never loses that love for dancing / singing / rapping

so whenever your scheduled dates are interrupted by his extracurriculars at school, you decide to tag along with him, if the members of his clubs don’t mind (which they usually don’t)

one of his extracurriculars is the dance team

and most of the time, when your preplanned dates are cancelled because of an extracurricular he has lined up for him, it is almost always dance

so you end up following him to the practice room, silently watching him in the corner so as to not obstruct their view of the mirror by sitting directly in front of them

his eyes light up with the flame of passion you adore so much, and you’re so content that even if your date is cancelled because of this, you’re not annoyed and you still get to indirectly spend some time with him by spectating him as he does what he likes

in the short breaks that he gets, he takes the opportunity to sit beside you on the floor and ask about your day

when the practice session ends, he asks if it’s okay with you if he stays to polish up the routine, to which you say yes and offer to stay with him because everyone else has started to leave

The Squid Game Guards - deadly, brutal and…the world's best babysitters. You hate it when your Father has to deal with something important (again)….but so you get to help the Circle Guards with an important task….and you are the world's best assistant!

"I understand… this Problem requires immediate Action. I'm on my way"

As you hear these Words, you immediately drop the purple pen in your hand to the Floor. Luckily it wasn't a felt-tip pen, otherwise the floor would have had a few unsightly marks… not that it would have been noticeable in all the black.

You look up abruptly and watch as Hwang In-ho makes the technological device disappear into his jacket pocket.

You don't understand much of the boring adult language… but the tone and the seriousness that Hwang In-ho displays, oh, that sounds all too familiar.

And you hate it when your father speaks in this tone to other adults over the telecommunications connection. It means that he has to leave again urgently.

But this time you're not going to let him get away with it.

You only arrived on the island a few days ago and you wanted to help him find new guards! (Actually, In-Ho sits in the VIP lounge of the complex with an expensive tablet and just swipes from right to left to look at potential candidates, whose probable location he then passes on to the salesman and you are sometimes allowed to press the power button on the tablet or swipe on the display and of course you are really helping your father with that!) - aaaand he wanted to braid your hair after all! Like Elsa! Because this is an island and you are the unofficial princess!

And you really had to be soooo patient, because your father wasn't so good at braiding and styling your hair from the start….well, someone like the frontman who is suddenly confronted with a female toddler in his life has to learn too….and with learning came a lot of time, setbacks and frustration. Yet you absolutely don't like the fact that he's on the move again.

So you stand up and walk towards your father with clumsy steps and try to cling to his right leg , like a little koala and give him a loving hug….but unfortunately In-Ho knows you very well by now and in a rehearsed movement, he stops your attempt and takes you by the hand instead, while he addresses the following words to you in a stern but still determined tone.

"You´re going to spent some Time with the.....", your Father started to explain but you now tried to grab his left hand little finger, to convince him to not go away....at least not withouth you....and to cut him off during his words.

The stern, cold mask that In-Ho wore, was replaced for a moment by a brief, amused smile.

The few guards , who came back year after year and were almost a basic staff of the games…had received this…more cuteness like names from you.

You got along with almost every Guard...you were not scard of the Mask or the Weapons they carried with them...your Father said they wouldn´t hurt you....they are....like your Friends....Friends that knew not to mess with the Frontmans Daugther.

So you are used to this....maybe strange Island with all this colorful rooms and of course the Guards were your friends. And the Circleleys are the most funniest ones ever!

"Don't let the others hear that you favor the Circle Guards… otherwise I'll have to send more new recruits to the salesmen....and that will be a whole nother game to deal with"

"No no! Tree-Angel and Squary Friends too" - you say with a serious expression on your face.

The Triangle and Square Guardians are just as much your friends as the Circles… but maybe you like the Circle Guardians a little bit more than the rest? They always make you laugh.

"Then it won't be a problem if you spend some time with the circles, hm?"

"Yes, playing with Circleleys!"

"And you'll keep your composure and not cause any trouble?"

You giggle and nod, your father gives you a gentle kiss on the top of your head before he takes you to the control room, where his second in command, a high-ranking square guard, takes you, holds you in his arms and after you wave goodbye to your father, the square guard takes you to the playing field for the second game.

You feel safe in the adult's arms, he doesn't hold you as tightly as if you were an expensive vase or a cat that could get angry at any movement - there are some of the new guards that your father entrusts you to… you can definitely tell , that they have already held a small child in their arms and then there are the newbies who are… clumsy.

Sometimes when you're having a bad day and you're being picked up like a piece of wood or something, it doesn't take three seconds before you start to whine and cry. Sometimes the experienced quads find it amusing how panicked the new recruits react.

As you pass the colorful stairs and get closer to the room where game number 2 will be played in a few weeks, you chat euphorically to the adult who is carrying you, about what you have already experienced today and that you also took your afternoon nap well, even though you had a little tantrum beforehand and were not tired at all, and you tell the square guard that your father said purple crayons are not for eating and are not a good snack.

While you continue to be carried, from staircase to staircase in the adult's arm, you do not notice how he gives the instruction over the walkie talkie, to keep the colorful Gong-gi figures out of reach… better safe than sorry.

You soon reach the room that will definitely be one of your favorites, you like the bright rainbow colors on the floor and it's really wonderful to run around in here, play catch or just take a nap on the floor.

And when you recognize three of the circle guards, you wave to them and bounce impatiently up and down in the adult's arms.

"We have a special task that you can help us with, OK? Come with guard number 32 and we'll be right there," said one of the circle guards as you were passed from one arm to the other and finally led by guard number 32's hand to the back of the room.

"Will we get the number of players back to 456 this year?"

"Positive. The boss wants a complete run through of the standard protocols before arrival"

Poor Capitano gets so stiff at first when you try combing through his hair, he's so unused to being touched after being alone for so long, but you just want to introduce him to the softer aspects of life, away from his eternal war. He may have his mission to attend to but that doesn't mean he can't relax every once in a while! He's silent through the whole thing but trust me, he enjoys his braid very much.

Columbina refuses to get up and go about her day unless you promise to brush her hair and get all the knots out. Yeah, she could do it herself, but you always do it so much better! Still, that forever :) of hers makes you unable to say no to her, as Bina admires your handiwork in the mirror.

Pantalone's hair routine makes you admire the amount of patience he has because you could never (until he drags you into helping him of course, like he does with every other of his routines.) However, you understand why he's so finicky about his appearance, stemming from his childhood insecurity. Regardless, he very much appreciates it when you help him rather than his maids. Pantalone secretly adores how the mere act of touching his hair can suddenly become so personal when you're the one doing it.

Sandrone's hair is barely shoulder length, save for the two long locks that hang down to her chest, but she always makes sure it's as fluffy and silky as it could be. She's contemplated making Automatons to take care of it for her, considering the robots she has hands are too big to do such a thing. However, Sandrone determined there was no need to waste materials when she had you. The difficult part is that you have to work on it while she's still working, and she will send you a peeved look if you happen to pull a bit too hard.

Although Dottore takes care of basic hygiene and all he never cared all that much about his appearance, and you seem to like him no matter how he presents so it's not that big of a deal. Still, there are times he gets grumpy because his hair gets too long and keeps falling in his face when he's trying to experiment so you just take care of it for him. (I always HC Boattore to have long hair, it just feels right to me. He very soft and gentle when you play with it......)

(I think you may have forgotten Arlie has a whole ponytail at the back-) But regardless, I think the locks near her face would bother her more than the tail. She's considered cutting some of it off more than once but you love all the fluff so much she keeps putting it off for a later date. Father's also more than capable of taking care of herself but she definitely doesn't mind you playing with her hair when she's not busy. You are also the House's unofficial barber because you're much less scary than the other agents (to the little kids at least).

Childe takes care of his hair as the average person would do. He's actually considered growing it out a bit (mostly due to the curiosity of his siblings) but decided against it for now in case it gets in the way of battles. Still, he's more than capable of it considering how he grew up taking care of his sisters' hair, and them putting pretty pink bows in his. Nothing warms his heart more than to see them do the same to you!

this was a fun warmup to get started on a bigger fic next. you know i've never done warmups before i started this blog like this! usually i don't stop typing about anything that comes to mind for 10 min straight as my warmups but these are a pretty good way to get in character and the headspace. would recommend to other fic writers stuck with characterization, but if the issue is getting the thoughts on paper you should try typing nonstop for a bit without worrying about backspace, grammar or coherency, and it might impress you how much easier gets to type

Author’s note: I was soooo excited to write something soft!! Thank you anon for the request and for the kind words <3 Also, I’m a bob girly for sure and have been for as long as I can remember so I’m so here for picturing Frank as a fan of it.

It was a completely impulsive decision made in a fleeting moment of curiosity and intrigue, but damn it, you were a victim to your whims. It had started when you had had a quiet moment during your workday and you had scrolled through Pinterest for cute pictures of cats — the usual — when you had suddenly been flooded with inspiration for shorter hairstyles. You couldn’t tell where it was all coming from, but you supposed it was fate or some kind of a sign, one that took over your brain far too easily.

You had had long hair for years, and you had liked it that way. Frank loved it too, always caressing and playing with it, and he had even retaught himself how to do braids. But you couldn’t deny having shorter hair would have its advantages, and you thought you could pull it off well enough. If not, it would just grow back, right?

You convinced yourself quickly enough, and once your lunch break started, you were bolting out of the office and straight to your salon, lucking out considering it wasn’t too far from work. Your good fortune only continued when you made it inside and discovered the place to be empty from customers, but your trusted hairdresser was sweeping the floors, just waiting for someone to come in.

Five minutes later, you were seated with the cape shielding your chest, your giddiness smiling back at you from the long mirror in front of you while your hairdresser prepared the scissors. You felt a little ridiculous and daring, but you liked to think it was just spontaneous, not impulsive — something you always told yourself when you took a leap like this, but this time, you were sure you weren’t going to regret it.

The whole time your hairdresser cut and styled your hair, you couldn’t stop thinking about Frank and what he was going to say. He had always been supportive, always finding the right thing to say if you showed up home with a new hair color or just a switch in styles. You knew he would love you, regardless, but you still felt the buzz of nervous butterflies in the pit of your stomach at the thought of his face when he’d see you.

When it was done, you couldn’t get your grin off of your face. You admired yourself in the mirror, your hands incessantly touching your new bob and your confidence skyrocketing. You felt like a new person, re-energized and revitalized, and you thanked your hairdresser a million times, feeling like it was one hundred percent money well-spent.

You were overjoyed and excited as you got back to work, the only thing on your mind being getting home and showing Frank. The day dragged on as you anticipated clocking out, but with praise from your co-workers, the hours finally ticked by and you were soon headed to your and Frank’s shared apartment. This was a familiar routine, you being utterly enthusiastic about something and talking Frank’s ear off, and him nodding along, a fond smile on his own face as he watched you gush. It made you indescribably happy that he never seemed to get sick or tired of you, he never judged you and he always, always listened to what you had to say.

Stepping inside your apartment, you began kicking off your shoes. ”Frank? I’m home”, you called out, the excitement obvious in your voice as you shrugged off your jacket next, hanging it up by the door you made sure to lock behind you.

”In the kitchen, sweetheart”, he responded, and smiling already, you made your way to him, only to find him stirring a pot on the stove with a kitchen towel thrown across his shoulder — a perfectly domestic sight that melted your heart and almost made you forget what you were so thrilled about.

He didn’t look at you at first, focused on the pasta in the pot, but he acknowledged you verbally. ”How was your day, sweet girl?” he questioned, casual and caring as he wondered the same thing he did every day.

”It was good. I did something kind of exciting on my lunch break”, you dropped hints, waiting for him to look at you and realize, amusement on your face as he stood there, clueless.

”Oh yeah? What’s that?” he asked, finally looking up at you, his eyes immediately widening. ”Shit, sweetheart”, he exhaled, amazement spreading across his features as he took in the sight of you, eyes darting from side to side to fully appreciate every cropped inch of your new hair.

”Well, what do you think?” you giggled, shy under his scanning stare, and chuckling himself, Frank dropped the wooden spoon into the pot and stepped closer to you. His hands snuck to your hips and he tilted his head at you to curiously survey you, a smile spreading over his lips.

”Christ, you got me all flustered and shit. Speechless, baby. You look fuckin’ stunnin’, that’s what I think. My gorgeous girl”, he complimented you with sincerity, one of his hands coming up to carefully run his hands through your hair, feeling it for himself.

You blushed and ducked your head down, and he took the opportunity to press a kiss on your forehead. ”Makin’ me feel all sorts of things over here, beautiful. What inspired this?” he queried, his deep voice making you shiver, especially when it was so thick with attraction and admiration. He clearly really, really liked the haircut, and it drove you crazy to know that.

”It was pretty much just a whim. Saw some pictures online and thought I could use a change”, you shrugged, truly glad that you had given in to the impulsive urges inside you, because clearly, it had paid off.

”Well, it was a pretty good goddamn idea. Can’t get enough of this”, Frank agreed, his hand travelling up the back of your neck and gliding through your hair; allowing him to get a gentle but firm grip as he leaned in to kiss you, his lips hot and heavy on yours. It was needy and full of fire and passion and it set something ablaze within you, a burning want that you figured Frank was feeling, too.

He was all over you the rest of the night, too. You two spent the evening watching a movie on TV, woven into one big mass on the couch and he refused to stop caressing your hair, his fingers carding through the short strands again and again.

Safe to say, he loved it, and so did you.

Sometimes I think i’d be funny if Miles 42 was a little on the short side? Like Miles 1610 grew because of the spider bite, but 42 stayed where he was? Like he’s not short, but he’s closer to average than a lot of the guys he hangs around and it’s funny because his attitude is 10 feet tall

Miles 42 doesn’t see his mom as much as 1610 does because she’s always working, so he does little things around the house to make it feel more like home when she gets off work. He lights her favorite candles, makes sure her favorite flowers are always in a vase on the dining room table. He likes taking the pressure off his mom’s shoulders because he knows she works hard. He goes above and beyond for her.

He sometimes (a lot of times) slips money into her savings jar so he can see her face light up when she counts it all

42 has his dad’s class ring from high school. He wears it a lot, but when he doesn’t it stays in a little box with his chains.

I can imagine both Miles’ just knowing random things? Like they have all these facts for no reason except the can

Oouu I never thought of miles as someone who can do his own hair. Now that I’m thinking about it. He can definitely do 2 strand twist, but the two braids maybe a little too complicated for him and that’s why he lets Rio do it and to spend time with her 🥰🥰.

This was really enjoyable for me to do because I got to watch over a bunch of my favorite Sana fancams.

Lets first begin with an honorable mention which sadly couldn't make the cut... :(

Strategy 241215

I had a really hard time leaving this one out because right after the studio choom fit, this is the best fit she's had during this era. Plus I really like the two braids in her hair and damn she looks good.

Anyways, lets get to the list... :

5. Feel Special 190929

Right after brown, pink is my favorite hair color on Sana. I think it fits her so well and also her outfit just makes her shine that much more.

When I watched the normal music show performance, I seriously couldn't stop looking at her.

4. I Got You 240302

I know Sana has said that she doesn't like green but holy shit her in this outfit is soooo killer. I feel like she can pull anything off at this point because she's never had a bad outfit (in my opinion). Also this half up half down-ish hairstyle on her is by far my favorite.

3. Strategy Studio Choom

If you saw my "best of sana in 2024" post, you'd probably expect this fancam to be on the list. The furry hat paired with the long curly hair and this fire ass outfit literally had me sweating when the teaser came out.

It's something about her in the lighting too that really gets me.

2. One Spark 240302

Perfection. Just absolute perfection.

Sana looked so perfect in this fancam no fucking lie. I have no idea what was in the air this day, but she just looked too good. I've always preferred wavy hair on Sana when she has it down, but this long straight hair on her really changed my mind.

The outfit just screams royalty and the whole time I just couldn't stop staring at her face. Again, perfect.

1. I Cant Stop Me Studio Choom

This era destroys me, literally. Anytime I go back to old videos of the ICSM era Sana always wrecks me all over again. This fancam is by far my favorite because her movements are so perfect and that part in the choreo where she does the body rolls just kills me. Then there's the killing part where she puts her finger over her mouth.

Words literally cannot express how good she looks also, this denim outflit on her with the boots and this wavy brown hair is so dangerous. Whoever styled her needs a raise immediately.

Honorable Mention Two: Cry For Me

If they did a studio choom for Cry For Me I'd need to be taken out of my house on a stretcher.

How do you think Peter Parker, Steve Rodgers| Dick Grayson, Tim drake and John Constantine would react to someone they liked asking to play with their hair?

Crossing universes is fine since they're separate! Ok so, I think that-

Peter would be super flustered. His crush on you was pretty obvious to his friends so here come the teasing glances when they see you talking to him. He'd stutter out a sure and would just sit back and let you play with his hair in class. They had a sub that day so most of the class was doing nothing important. He actually found it relaxing having you braid some of the longer sections of hair hair. he doesn't even care that you've messed up his hair he finds how fun you find this super cute. MJ takes so many pictures of him with mini pigtails and its super cute. Near the end of class you were just running your hands through his hair and when that bell rang he almost cried. best Day Ever. Steve would be mostly confused, his hair is pretty short most of the time. Still, he loves to make you smile so he's willing to let you do what you want. He's definitely blushing while you're running your fingers over his scalp. Silently hoping this lasts forever. If anyone walks in he'd be a stuttering mess. Looks in your eyes as you play with his hair with a small adoring smile on his face it's so cute. Dick would be so down. A scalp massage from his crush??? Uhh yes please. Loves it if you do silly hairstyles on him, the batfam groupchat will be spammed with them. Also finds your fingers in his hair relaxing. And if he can, he'll ask to do your hair as well.

Tim Would be confused too but he'd let you do it after a bit more begging. Wouldn't know what to do so he's awkwardly fidgeting while you're playing with his hair. He's not sure if you're trying to style it or just running your hands through it but he must admit it does feel very nice. If you do try and style it he'll find it cute. Also blushes a lot. John is also very very confused. his hair is not that detangled soooo good luck. He warns you of that before you start but lets you anyway. In the beginning it kind of hurt but after five or so minutes he's out like a light. The feeling of your hands running through his hair puts him to sleep soooo fast. Won't ask you to do it more often but definitely wants you to. Feels a sense of safeness whenever you play with his hair and it makes him start crushing on your even harder.

Also related to dragon age I know I was super critical last night and I still have really low hopes but I do truly love the dragon age series I'm just so disappointed that EA keeps getting away with treating their fans and consumer base like shit thinking we'll lap up anything they give us for massive money when they abused and mistreated their staff and are so out of touch with what constitutes a good game because they don't care if we like it, they care if we BUY it.

But I am interested in Bellara and Davrin especially, with a special shout out to Lucanis and Taash. I'll always be sad they named a character Neve and spelled it that way so it tarnishes my opinion of the character but I am very excited for those characters.

I still maintain my criticisms. The voice acting in the ad sounded bad and low quality, with varric not even sounding like himself. I don't know why they made varric dark haired to show he's greying like... you can make him strawberry blonde and greying it IS possible. Harding sounded weird too and while I'm happy we finally have a dwarf romance option I wish it was a new character not someone we've met already. If they were going to give us someone we met already it shouldve been varric and it should've been in inquisition. (OR DA2 BECAUSE LETS BE REAL HIM AND HAWKE ARE SOUL MATES but varric *was* a new character in da2).

I also didn't love the art style but I didn't love it in inquisition either, i didn't mind if they went more cartoon-like, like they did in dragon age 2, I just wish it didn't feel like a different company made it every time and also I found the art style hard to process while in motion like the FPS was off, like I struggle with halo my brain just doesn't properly process what I'm seeing so I hope it flows better and is more comprehensive in game.

Also when people said they wanted it to be grim dark again we didn't mean literally get rid of lighting. Let's not pull a GOT here. And the criticisms of the script I think are still fair, DA:O and DA:2 were more grim dark than DA:I but they still had humour (it was in fact, a main draw in the game), people aren't looking to remove the humour from a grim dark they're just commenting it feels like very generic recycled and over used Hollywood phrases that lack real personality which is concerning.

I do have some hope and I desperately hope the game turns out to be good, and want to enjoy the characters and story, I just have really low expectations and the ad didn't make me feel much better.

Also whyyyyyy do all the handsome black male characters have a close shaved head like whyyyyy Davrin is an elf they could've given him soooo many cool hair styles, shaved sides and dreads, or long braids with beading, bantu knots, twists, an afro, ANYTHING but we got another shaved head. Which speaks to what we can expect from the character creator hair options as well, I suspect. I'm not even a proper curly girl if you're being GENEROUS my hair is 3A, but mostly 2C and there is never ANY curly options that are decent even a little bit I am always left wanting so I can only imagine how people with type 4 curls feel looking at the character creator options.
