I’m known in the burlesque community for being a singer. Most people don’t know that I have multiple dance acts where I don’t sing at all. This photo is from the most recently developed dance act called the 50s oppressed Housewife. It’s one of my sexist number. The premise is a housewife stuck in a black and white world who discovers her sensual sexy side when she reveals all the red clothing. Several people have seen this act, but most people don’t know that it’s loosely based on my marriage to my ex husband. I do mostly comedic character numbers. This one isn’t.
