Charlie slimecicle x reader [they/them used]

“Hello twitchers.” y/n smiled into the face cam, watching the chat fly by a mile a minute. They knew they’d draw in a larger audience today, it being their first official stream on the Dream SMP. They loaded up the game, spawning in a wooded area surrounded by cobblestone. “Alright where do we- hello?”

y/n leaned closer to the screen. They could see someone standing behind a tree. Someone in glasses and green blotchy skin. They typed into the in-game chat, trying to get who ever it was to come closer. Thankfully they did, revealing a character named Slimecicle. y/n looked over to the discord server, pulling themselves into a voice channel with the mystery person.

“Hi there!” Slimecicle’s voice rang through y/n’s headphones and they smiled. They liked the sound of his voice. “Im Charlie. Welcome.”

“Thanks. Do you know how to get anywhere?”

“Yeah!” Charlie’s character jumped as y/n followed after him. Charlie led them to a snowy mountainside that had been covered with sand. Someone had built a white mansion and several other buildings, including a fountain and a tall tower. “This is where I live.”

“This mansion?” y/n panned to look around the mountainside. They glanced over to watch their chat fly by.

“No I just live in the country in general. Las Nevadas!” Charlie jumped up and down, punching y/n in a friendly manner. “Oh are you hungry? I have food!”

Charlie’s character threw a stack of lamb chops at y/n. They smiled at him, then quickly realized he couldn’t see them. “Thanks! Where is this by the way.”

“Only the best country ever. It’s Las Nevadas! Do you want to live here?”

“Sure!” y/n followed as Charlie ran around. He showed them all around the country; the casino, the strip club, the restaurant, and even the garden. “Charlie this is so cool!”

“I know!” Charlie jumped up and down in a circle. “I’m not the guy who owns it but I’m sure he’d like to meet you.”

“Oh.” y/n paused, biting their cheek. “Will he be okay with me being here?”

“Of course he will. It’s Quackity! Let’s find you somewhere to live.” y/n followed Charlie to the tall white tower. He led them behind it to a flat plot of sand. “Here! We’ll be neighbors.”

“Awesome. I don’t have anything to build with yet but-“

“Oh here!” Charlie ran into the base of the tower, coming back 30 seconds later. He threw two stacks of oak logs to y/n. “Is this what you needed?”

“I- yeah. That’s a lot of wood.”

“I want you to have it!”

y/n smiled bashfully, trying to swallow the heat rising to their cheeks. They could see their twitch chat running by with messages asking if it was lore or cannon. “Here. Take this then.”

Charlie marveled at the flower y/n had tossed him, a blue cornflower. He smiled, holding a hand over his mouth to hide from the prying eyes of his own twitch chat. “Thank you.”

y/n began running around the plot, randomly placing oak planks to make a frame for their house. They tossed Charlie some planks, allowing him to help build up the home. They continued beholding for another half an hour, allowing y/n to have a gorgeous one story home with room for storage and supplies.

“Thanks for all your help today.”

“Of course! Do I get to see you again?”

y/n smiled, glancing over at discord to make sure they’d requested to be friends with Charlie. “Of course! I’ll see you around the server?”

y/n and Charlie saw each other quite often around the server. y/n logged on, Charlie was there. They’d spend hours in the game mining together, building structures, hunting. It went on months of them interacting in streams and lore exclusively.

“You can’t do this Quackity.” y/n spoke slowly. They’d been practicing the recording for this lore for weeks now, and thank god it wasn’t live. “I trust you, and I’m glad we’re friends, but this? Burning it all? What will that do for you. What will any of this do for you?”

“I know you haven’t been here as long, but this is my fucking country. It’s my fucking war. Who the hell are you to think you have any understanding of this? And ideas?”

“Because this isn’t how it works. This isn’t going to work. How many times have you tried this and it just hasn’t happened or you? I don’t know, maybe think about Schlatt? Or Technoblade?”

Quackity froze, being eerily silent. y/n glanced over at the script, making sure nothing was missed. “How do you know about that? Who told you about that?” Quackity’s character ran forward with a diamond sword in hand. “That is none of your business.”

“It’s none of your business how I know.” y/n backed away from Quackity as he walked closer. “I may not have been here long but I have friends.”

“What friends you have-“ he paused, realization setting in. “You have Slime. My friend.”

Quackity came at y/n swinging, they tried to fight back, blocking with a shield and iron sword. “Quackity enough! This isn’t what you want! Quackity please-“

y/n stopped, holding a breath and muting their mic. Quackity had landed the final blow, taking their first cannon life. They moved slightly away from their set up, making sure to not touch any keys. They knew Quackity was still recording, and Charlie’s part was coming soon.

Quackity panted. Taking a shaky breath. “Fuck. Okay. God I can’t believe-“ y/n waited expectantly. Quackity’s pause meant that he saw Charlie. “Oh. Hey bud.”

“Quackity from Las Nevadas.” Charlie almost sounded like he was crying. “What did you do?”

“Slime, you don’t understand, they knew more than they should-“

“So you killed them?” Quackity was quiet. y/n silently cheered to themselves, proud of both Charlie and Quackity’s acting. “You- you took my friend. You took my friend away and- are they coming back? Is y/n coming back?”

“Slime, I took one life. It doesn’t matter. They don’t matter. They didn’t care about Las Nevadas, not like we do.” y/n could hear Quackity’s character moving from his audio in the discord call. “It’s you and me Slime, my best friend.”

“No.”

“No?” y/n looked over the shared script, searching for what part was happening. They hadn’t read this far ahead. “What do you mean no?”

“I cared about y/n. They were my friend. This is not how you treat a friend.”

“And how would you know?”

“Because I know Quackity. I know.”

Charlie and Quackity came to a halt, waiting a moment before speaking again. “That was great!” y/n exited the Minecraft world, turning their full attention to the discord call. Quackity had his camera on, smiling, but Charlie still kept his camera off. “Was there anything else to record today?”

“No that’s it.” There was some clicking from Quackity’s end. “Thanks again. I’ll talk to you later?”

“Yeah, later.”

Quackity exited the discord call, leaving Charlie and y/n in silence. Charlie cleared his throat, turning on his camera. His room was lit by just the lights behind his set up, casting his shadow over the shelves of stuffed toys and collectibles behind him. “Hey.”

“Hey!” y/n felt their face grow warm slightly. “I didn’t realize there was that much more to the script.”

“Yeah.”

y/n chewed the inside of their cheek. It almost sounded like Charlie was disappointed. “Are you okay? You sound upset.”

“I just-“ Charlie paused, resting his chin on his propped-up hands. “What do we do now? I don’t want to stop playing minecraft with you.”

“Charlie we don’t have to stop. Just because the lore goes one way doesn’t mean that we can’t interact.”

“But continuity-“

“You’re thinking like DnD.” y/n smiled gently at him. “If you still want to play together we can, it’ll just be like a secret. Or we can do our own lore. I’m sure if we talk to everyone about it me and you can write something.” Charlie didn’t say anything, and they frowned. “Is there something else?”

“I kind wish they didn’t kill you so early. I’ve still got my lives.”

“Maybe Quackity will kill you next.”

“That’s not-“ Charlie huffed, running a hand through his hair. “I like the character dynamic. I like us interacting. I like us.”

y/n paused, their face burning. They’d be lying if they said they hadn’t thought about the dynamic between themself and Charlie. The clips of them talking on late night streams. The fan-art all over Twitter. The edits recommended to them on Instagram. Hell, they thought about it even without seeing any prompted content. Charlie was on their mind most of the day. They’d constantly find themselves checking twitch to see if he was live or discord to see if he was active. Charlie had become a constant in y/n’s life and they indulged themself in it. “I like the dynamic too.”

“Well we don’t have that dynamic if you stop being part of Las Nevadas. There isn’t us.”

“Charlie, what are you talking about?”

“I’ve been— fucking— I’ve been using this stupid server to get closer to you. I thought that maybe you liked us the way that I liked us and I- I don’t know what I’m doing now.” Charlie rubbed his hands over his eyes. “I just didn’t want you to go.”

“Charlie I’m not going anywhere. I like us too.”

“You do?” Charlie perked up a bit, seeming more enthusiastic.

“Just cause we write lore doesn’t mean it affects us. Here, watch this.” y/n went onto the shared script, hoping Charlie still had it open, and began to type. They wrote about how y/n would possibly live alone in the woods on the outskirts of Las Nevadas, staying close to Charlie.

They could see Charlie smile on the other end of the call, then emit the sound of keys tapping. y/n watched as the words appeared on the page: Charlie tells y/n how he feels.

y/n gasped and turned back to the discord call. “I wanted to tell you soon. I guess I didn’t realize how upset the recording would make me.”

“Charlie, how long have you had a crush on me?”

“Uh, remember your first day?” y/n nodded eagerly. “Yeah. Probably about there.”

y/n turned back to the shared document, typing furiously. “It’s a good thing I like you too.”

Charlie smiled widely at the words; y/n returns his affection. He smiled at the discord call, resting his face in his hands. “Well then, what’s next for our lore darling?”

y/n chuckled, going back to open minecraft. “Help me make a new house.”

“Only if my bed can be next to yours.”

“Deal.”

They could hear Charlie tapping on his keyboard as he loaded in the game. “I know we haven’t met in person, but I’m serious. I like you.”

“And I’m serious. I like you too.” y/n looked at Charlie’s character on their screen. “It does kind of suck we’ve never met but that doesn’t mean-“

“I bought a ticket.”

“W-what? What kind of ticket?”

“A plane ticket. For next week. I mean if that’s okay. I can still cancel it.”

“No! I mean yes. I’d be delighted to have you come over Charlie.” y/n felt their smile soften.

“Can I still have a bed then?”

“Yes!” y/n laughed, going back to the game. They placed two beds side-by-side in the open air. “How’s this?”

“Better.” Charlie’s character went to stand on one of the beds. “Maybe we can write something different- oh.”

y/n looked at the document. Quackity had left them a comment on their new writing, telling them to flirt elsewhere. “Well, I guess he had a point.”

“Back to the game then darling?”

y/n smiled bashfully at the nickname. “Back to the game.”

Today on Minecraft-Fuck-Around-And-Find-Out, I found the Deep Dark. Completely by accident. Didn't even know I could access it because I'm in survival mode and on peaceful. But I did and let me tell you the tale of my little dude's adventure.

So today I decide "I'm gonna fuck around and dig a hole straight down."

Bad idea, I know, but it's a Fuck It day.

I pick a spot and dig down. I land in my own mine. Fine, take the mine cart back to the surface.

I ride out of my village and south a ways into Uncharted Territory©

I dig straight down. I fall into a mf underground lake. There is NO air in this underground cavern. Water water and glow squids as far as the eye can see. I can't fly, I'm stuck and no way to travel back to the surface. So I start digging to the side, desperately trying not to drown and praying I find an air pocket.

I hit something alright. One last block and water starts rushing forward, taking me with it. It is pitch black y'all. This may be a cartoon character but damn is it scary just knowing your little dude is trapped in an underground river and all you can see are occasional flashes of lichen.

And then... I'm swept into a dark cavern and wash up on a rocky shore line a deleted screen from Descent.

I'm in the Dark Deep.

Okay okay, I'm in a new biome, one of which little information is known and I have pretty much only some random blocks, a map, coal, 1 iron pickaxe, 1 diamond pickaxe, and only 10 torches. No wood to make anymore torches.

Fuck it's dark in here. Pretty where you can see the columns by the lava pits but terrifying everywhere else. And you run out of torches real quick.

Then I realize I have no way back home.

Fuck.

Okay, let's explore. I've got no torches but I have flint. Guys, I wandered the deep dark forever just lighting fires as I went just so I could see. Mine some ores while I'm at it.

Eventually I stumble upon a waterfall near a lava pit. Fuck yeah! I manipulate the water to fall in the lava and create obsidian. Bing bang boom, I've got a nether portal. Sayonara Deep Dark, I am outta here!

That first portal landed smack dab into an ocean of lava.

I hop on back to Deep Dark on fire and rush into the waterfall. Ugh, back here again. I dismantle my portal and go off in search of another area to build it.

This second portal proves a big better. I'm deep underground still but at least I can see. I check my map and realize I'm not too far from home base. I move a little bit, then build another portal, praying it doesn't take me back to Deep Dark and Scary.

One hop thru and I land in a tiny lava ridden cave.

Aaaaaarrrrgh!!!!

But you know what. It's not deepslate so I know I'm at least in the Overworld. So fuck it, I'm digging straight up. Fuck whatever falls on top of me. Maybe I'll die and respawn back home. At this point, I don't give a flying fuck.

And wouldn't you know it?

I dig straight up into my own mine. Damn if I've never been that happy to see a minecart in my life.

Wonder what my next adventure will be...

ELLO this herre be a timeline of season six for my Hermits Duplicates AU, which is about all of the hermits duplicates aka NPC Grian (who is called Dustic in this AU for lore reasons) Robot Grian, Evil X, renbob ect ect, who together and becomes friends and make a share base. This AU is a large mix of Isolation Misunderstandings and most importantly Found Family.  

ive also opened up a discord for this AU so if ya liked this post check on in to there! there’s a lot more to this AU than what ived shared here today. now without further Ado check under the cut for the timeline!

Season six

Dustic and Ro stayed with TFC during the beginning of season 6 for a good few months or so before they took off and on the insistc of Dustic, they sought out Evil Xisuma and “tricked” him into friendship

Later on through chance, Badtimewithscar and Truesymmetry happen upon their now shared and slowly growing cave town base. It took some time to convince them into joining the base and to become friends but within less than a month's time BT and Truse have fit themselves in

Time flies by and the base is worked on even more with the additional help from BT and Truse, shenanigans a penalty as well, a small hand full of pranks on the hermits (Truse may or may not be the jinger and Dustic may or may not of been the salmon man) and upon their own little group

7 months and 2 weeks into the season Evil Xisuma is banned from the server and immediately Dustic starts working on getting him back. After some careful planning Dustic, Truse, and TFC work together and manage to pull Ex out of the void and back into hermitcraft with the other hermits being none the wiser. Ex self imposes himself into exile and stays away from the main hermit island and lives full time at the duplicates base, though for the most part he was already doing that so the exile isnt too impactful

The next 2 and half months are filled with some tension with both Ex getting banned into the void (which had dustic not gotten ex out of the void, Ex would have either gone mad/insane due to being within the void or would have been consumed by the void and would not respawn) and the soon to come village and pillage update that would lead to the hermit potentially finding them by going out to the new terrain. Things simmer down after the update falls upon the server 

Roughly 2 months later Renbob has spawned into the server then on

July 19 2019 Renbob leaves New Hermitville in somewhat of a panic and crash lands into The Cavern Town (suggestions for a name for the base are very much welcome) and stays till Renbob hears the intergalactic hippie horn and then comes to aid Grian and Ren to help fight against “The Man” (aka the government) 

Renbob sticks around the hippie commune till the end of the 77 ark, during this time renbob does his thing and helps out to the best of his ability. The German Tourist (Gtm76, or more commonly known as simply Gerry) joins the game on september 4th to visit docm for the first time since they both escaped together from experimentation in captivity

 (backstory; some group of scientist ran a series of experiments trying to make a living sentient life-form. It took them 77 trys and Docm was their crowning achievement that was also their undoing. Gerry was the 76th try which while sentient his body had some defects that while with some cybernetic enhancements fixed the problems but it wasn't good enough for them so docm77 came to. Doc also had the same body problems but those didn't crop up/became unavoidable till later)

Anyway back to Gerry joining the server, he walks about and takes in the views before encountering Docm, who upon seeing Gerry bonks him over the head and throws Gerry into one of the cells fully convinced Gerry is an alien imposter and nothing Gerry saids can convince Docm that he is not an alien.(one of the problems doc had was memories. his life before getting his cybernetic enhancements was very hazy and he does not remember how he actually escaped nor the fact that he escaped with another person) Gerry stays stuck in the cell forgotten and alone with nothing but the uncomfortable prison uniform that reminds him far too much of the uniform he had to wear during his early life whilst in captivity. 

During the area 77 raid Gerry realized that someone besides Docm and Scar were in the building and tried desperately to get their attention alas his cell was just far enough that the hippies in thier excitement to reunite with villager grian and the time machine they completely missed Gerry’s cell in the way back of the compound. 

After area 77 is opened up as a amusement park, renbob returns to see if he can find his lost glasses (renbob was briefly stuck in a UFO that scar and docm confiscated then renbob was retrieved from the hold of it) renbob upon not seeing his glasses on the firset floor moves to the bottom floor and in his search he finds Gerry’s cell and Gerry manages to convey to him to open the cell even though the language barrier. They both leave Area 77 together and board Renbob’s van and heads for the Duplicate’s base where they all stay at for the remainder of the season.

Not even a week or so later Tomato Yoshi comes stumbling out of their nether portal, after completing his quest to be good at minecraft he then went back into the portal wishing to go where someone may be in need of his teachings. After moving in with the duplicates he helps them through their problems and initiates a weekly Therapy Group. He also trains Truse on how to fight blind, so that if she loses her goggles she can still protect herself.

During the time of demise they all for the most part stayed hunkered down and worked on finishing the base with a touch of everyone’s building styles mixed together. Then comes the end of the season. 

With the Infinity portal came a dilemma, do they go with the hermits to season 7 or move onto a new world? The duplicates wait a week’s time before they leave the season which gave them all time to fully consider this new found option. BT came to the conclusion that he wants to be there for any new duplicates that may spring up in the upcoming years, to show them that they’re not alone. Truse and Ex decide to stay too for the same reason. Gerry decides to go with renbob and explore hyperspace in Renbob’s Rv. Dustic, Ro, and Ex go through the portal with Truse at the lead. Once on the other side Truse changes Ex’s entry message and Dustic teleports himself Ex and Ro down and into a cave system below spawn. Then they move towards the coordinates they all agreed to head towards once they've made it to season 7.

Minecraft Manhunt AU Ver

Essempi a secluded town w/ a very small population (there's like 30 ppl) that takes up a shocking amount of land.

A boat trip away is Prime Island, where our heroes story begins!

(That was a bit dramatic, they're currently just some guys kinda.)

I have many variations of this AU where it's always 3/4 of the SBI that end up in the Moon Pool at the beginning. Anyways here's the list.

(Yes, in every version, Wilbur 1 day finds a mermaid in the sea, someone born a mermaid named Sally.)

While Tommy is w/ his friends/at school/doing his own thing, the rest of the SBI have time to themselves. Since they somehow don't have much to do, they decide to go to check out Prime Island because why not?

While exploring, somebody falls into a hole & the others are quick to go after him. Then they realize they have no way out, so they of course explore for a long while until they find a pool that could mean out.

When they all are in the water however, the full moon does it's stuff & it puts the 3 off but they push it to the side since they have to get home, like it's nighttime unlike when they first arrived to the island.

They learn the next morning that touching water turns them into mermen.

IDK if Tommy finds out about their mer statuses as soon as they do as well, maybe they hide it from Tommy for a time before they reveal it themselves or Tommy finds out, idk.

The mermen don't give Tommy the answer to how they became mers but maybe they tell Tommy they went to Prime Island before this happened so Tommy goes there many times figuring out how & by pure chance discovers the Moon Pool during a full moon

Tommy's happy to have all his family's powers combined while the rest of the SBI is mentally preparing for the fact that Tommy may not be careful w/ hiding his secret & wind up revealing to everyone they're mermen.

To put it simply, Ranboo & Tubbo are now in on the mermen secret in the beginning. Maybe Tommy drags in Tubbo & Ranboo in his search for the Moon Pool leading to Bee Duo also becoming mers so Tommy doesn't have all the 3/4 SBI's powers to their relief but still.

Bored out of their minds 1 day, the 3 decide to explore Prime Island because why not? While exploring, somebody as usual falls into the tunnel-slide while the rest follow after him.

Searching for a way out for a long time, they find a pool of water that does something freaky w/ the full moon when they all get in. They brush it aside since they have to get home & Philza's probably worried sick for them, heck it wasn't even midnight when they got to the island.

As it turns out water now turns them into mermen. Maybe Phil finds out instantly/it happens later through Phil discovering it for himself/the 3 showing it to him.

If Philza learns later down the line, he starts off suspicious of the 3's avoidance of water that's for sure.

IIRC there was an H20 episode where the main characters tried to become wholly human again by doing something on a full moon night, so the 3 at some point think that going in the Moon Pool again will undo what's happened to them. They all agree to do this since they have to avoid water & their family & friends are definitely suspicious of their new behavior. 

So say Philza knows of the 3's secret by then, he decides to supervise them as they go in the Moon Pool because last time they were there, they became supernatural creaturs w/ benifits, yes, but they also had to start avoiding water like the plauge.

Something happens & Philza ends up falling into the pool & get's turned by the moon. He is not pleased in the slighted. At least he has the 3's powers combined.

     ( 🦢 Mer Philza, then Wilbur, Techno & Tommy )

     ( 1st Version ) - The SBI all decide to check out Prime Island since they have nothing better to do.

At some point Phil gets seperated from the rest & falls into the tunnel. Since he's far away from the others, he ends up searching a long while for a way out & finds the Moon Pool.

The magic happens, Phil pushes it to the side since the others are probably worried sick for him as it's nighttime now. It turns out water turns him into a merman.

Do the rest of the SBI discover Phil's status as soon has he does? Does Phil hide it from the rest only to be discovered/reveal it later? You decide!

Maybe if Phil is discovered to be a mermen as soon as he discovers it or is revealed by complete accident, Phil in panic spills about what happened when he was in the pool, leading to the rest investigating the pool themselves leading to them becoming mermen w/ Phil's powers split between them.

Now they all have to avoid water.

     ( 2nd Version ) - Phil is MIA for everything at the moment, so the SBI has only included Tommy, Wilbur & Techno for their whole lives.

1 day they decide to explore Prime Island, end up accidentally finding the Moon Pool, get turned into mers, just skip to the future to when the 3 have got the hang of being a mer somewhat & spend time swimming in the waters.

At some points the 3 come across Phil, somebody who's been a merman his whole life who decides to adopt these 3 clearly new to being mers as a whole.

- would only be about building

- would wander through different biomes for days to collect clay so he could make concrete

- and while you're busy actually playing the game, he would beg for you to pick flowers on your trip so he can dye the concrete different colors

- his first house would be a mansion

- but he would give up half way because he kept falling off the roof and dying

- would forget he is actually playing the game and would get scared when night falls and mobs start spawning in his unlit house

- not like you didn't tell him countless times to put down torches

- but he kept saying they ruined his aesthetic

- but now he keeps dying because mobs are literally waiting at his spawn point, killing him over and over and over again

- and he begs you to set the time to day and kill the mobs for him

- but you just laugh uncontrollably at him because karma really is a bitch

Jisung

- would be just like Chan

- a pure ass baby when it comes to playing minecraft, but super eager to play the game

- his first spawn would be in the middle of the night (because of server)

- and you would try to tell him to not leave the safety of spawn, but he just wouldn't listen

- "Listen, Y/n, I know what I'm doing! I'm a pro at this!"

- and he would run confidently into the night, like the actual idiot that he is

- he wouldn't get too far before he was attacked by all the mobs and got killed

- "Well that was just rude!"

- "Oh my god Jisung, I told you not to do it."

- "Well how was I supposed to know they were going to kill me?!"

- and you can only shake your head at his stupidity

- he would eventually wait until daytime, but unfortunately all of his items would be lost due to despawning

- it's not like either one of you were equipped to go and retrieve his items

- zombies sucked man! And skeletons are the worst!

- but with a new day comes a new adventure and you both head out to find a place to call home

- Jisung would run the entire way, even though he had no food to keep his hunger up

- he also wouldn't be paying attention to where he was going and would fall into a hole

Felix

- You would be so hyped to play with Felix

- You've seen him play other games, so you knew he'd be great at minecraft

- Getting the server had been his idea, the easiest way everyone could play together

- First day of spawn, Felix would already be listing off the things that you would need to accomplish

- wood, cobblestone, iron, seeds, sheep

- it was all just so overwhelming

- by the time you make your first complete set of wooden tools, felix would have iron tools already

- he'd been ten feet underground, digging for more resources while tasking you to find the animals for food, wool and feathers

- easier said then done

- and when he resurfaces and you don't have animals, he would simply sigh and go do it himself

- which would upset you because you would spend hours looking for just one god damn cow

- meanwhile, Felix would take five steps in one direction and come across hundreds of cows!!!

- WHERE DID ALL THESE COWS COME FROM?!?!?

- he'd travel the whole map just to find a jungle to get coco beans

- seriously though, how did he find the fucking jungle?

- it like doesn't exist

- except it does and Minho most likely lives there with all his cats

- Felix would try and tame a panda, even though it's not possible

- When not trying to show off, Felix would be in his crappy little hut (cause hyunjin was still making the city), making cookies and cakes because why wouldn't he?

Seungmin

- the worst of the worst

- he would be the one to pretend to not know the game

- but really, he would be a minecraft expert

- every chance he would get, Seungmin would try to do something to ruin your day

- don't ever go mining with him. EVER!

- he would be the one to lead over a creeper to you in a ravine while you're trying to mine diamonds, right next to a lava pool

- the first one to explode wouldn't do any damage, thankfully

- "Don't you dare bring a creeper over here!"

- "I wouldn't."

- somehow, you wouldn't be convinced

- but you decided to trust him

- you're just mining away at the diamond when a big explosion happens

- and you notice two things

- 1. the diamonds and the surrounding area were blown up

- meanwhile, Seungmin was running away, cackling like the evil little shit that he was

- he would purposefully go out and fight creepers just to gather their gunpowder so he could make dynamite

- no one was safe from him

- because no one knew where he was

- Jeongin would spend at least two days researching things for the game before actually playing

- he would want to have some knowledge before walking into hell that was the Stray Kids server

- it's okay though, because everyone loves Jeongin

- really, he wouldn't need to do a thing

Charcherry Weekly - Issue 49

Heya everyone! Mage of Light Nick Card here! Seems things are rolling just fine this week!

Let's begin!

On saturday, Prince of Time Garnett Garren joined up with Witch of Time Katyleen Kitten and Page of Mind Samm on a short road trip from Starter Planet to a land which had made its way into orbit of the Parent and Child suns of the Starter System. Using the Hornet 41, they drove there in a relatively reasonable amount of time. The official name of the land is currently unknown, though reportedly the land is infested with giant mushrooms (and fungi of other sizes) and has no known surviving plant life, all trees found dead. Reportedly there was an abandoned consort village with massive letter-based architecture, and evidence to support that a light player once had quests here.

To Explore New Lands

According to reports, the player had failed their land quest, but so far no active trace of the player has been found. Their dwelling spire and alchemy setup has been found however. A transportalizer pad has been placed there for later investigation. The date for the next expedition has yet to be scheduled.

Explosions Without Incident!

On the 4th of July, Rogue of Heart Charles put on a firework show right outside of Desertia city limits and it surprisingly did not have any tragedy attached to it. It was legitimately a really nice firework display. Apparently Charles was disappointed in how soon his fireworks ran out, but hopefully he doesn't go overboard next year.

While it does seem a bit odd lighting off fireworks on the 4th no longer attached to the occasion many of our group used to observe, its still nice to see some fireworks go off.

There are rumors of a showstopper explosive which did not wind up exploding, but this has yet to be confirmed.

A Royal Welcome

The other day, the Queen of Air and Darkness showed up to our memo. She had apparently been searching for her apprentice, Magical Fae Brae Emit. Reportedly, Brae has not been attending to her lessons, due to fearing how much time would be lost in the Otherworld during such lessons. Meanwhile, much of the group did what they could to accommodate the queen, while trying their best to not cause a scene. After reports of what the Queen of Life and Light would have done to Brae (when she was still a Prince of Space) was revealed, there was... quite the reaction.

It is assumed that the occasion went about as well as it could under the circumstances, and it will likely not be the last time we see the unseelie queen in our memo.

On Thursday, Denizen Euphrosyne completed the setup of the next game to be entered in the Game Room. This time instead of modded Minecraft, the group will be playing Terraria. Reportedly its almost entirely vanilla, aside from the mod used to relay the chatlog to its own memo.

Welcome to Terraria!

Of those that played on the first day, the starting party consisted of *CaFAI, Netnavi Enker.exe, Mai of Hepi, Magical Fae Brae, Warlock of Time Coleman, Heir of Time Rise, and mystery person 13. Reportedly, the first night in-game was quite bloody, with many deaths, as the group attempted to gain some sort of footing. The first guide, Luke, had apparently succumbed to a zombie attack during this night.

According to *CaFAI, The Dungeon has been discovered to the right of spawn, past the Corruption. To the left is a large Desert. A skybridge has been constructed to the Dungeon, but it hasn't been built all the way to the ocean. Enker and Coleman have managed to excavate up to the highest tier of ore available pre-hardmode. There have been complaints of the sheer divide in player skill, as some have not played before, while others seem to have taken to the game quite quickly.

I am unsure of what The Corruption is supposed to be, but I assume it is not good to come into contact with. Reportedly there are stalled attempts to construct a "hellivator" to hell, but those efforts have been delayed by repeated flooding. Apparently there is a boss in the hell location known as the Wall of Flesh, which is supposed to be important towards unlocking hardmode state.

Reportedly, the current NPC's are present: in order of spawning: Maxwell the Guide, Gus the Merchant, Kaitlyn the Nurse, and Darur the Demolitionist.

It remains to see how progression of the game will continue. I may show up briefly to check on the progress however.

That about does it for this week. Me and my team only have a week left in the game jam and I am internally screaming right about now. I really hope I can pull my end of the weight fast enough.

“YO, SOMEONE CLIP THAT!” (1)

Excitement

a feeling of great enthusiasm and eagerness.

"YES! I WENT TO THE SECOND STRONGHOLD, HA HA!"

(In this Minecraft fanfiction, you actually spawn INTO the game of Minecraft, and feel pain and damage, adding to the tension.)

"Hey, you lovely degenerates! Star here, and today we're going to be playing Minecraft Manhunt, based on the ever-popular YouTuber Dream, along with his friends! No, I don't have anyone to play with, so today, it's Minecraft Youtuber vs. Terminator! Woo-Hoo!" The chat erupted into claps, or well, saying claps as you adjusted the (favorite color) headset on your head. It wasn't normal for them to get this much attention, more or less 700 viewers on their stream. You gave a small chuckle at it, as you loaded up the famous Minecraft screen, the soft glowing of the screen illuminating your (skin color) face as you gave your most signature grin. Loading a random world and updating some of your other platforming games, you found yourself in a mushroom biome, one of the rarest biomes in the games. No trees, which meant that you had to make a literal break for it after you spawned the terminator in. 

Pulling up the chat, everyone was spamming "RUN" "GO" or something along those lines. Giving a small chuckle, and flirting your (eye color) eyes around the surroundings, you found that there was a shipwreck, maybe 100 blocks off from the spawn.

"You guys ready?"

Spawning the terminator in, you found yourself quickly running off towards the shipwreck, while you heard heavy footsteps behind yourself. Moving towards the mushroom biomes, you took the time to actually get some of the mushrooms from the ground and giant ones above, making sure that the terminator was always one step behind you as you took off towards the water. Dirt sounds were being built as you dove into the water, the small bubble of airs popping in front of you as you swam your way towards the shipwreck. Thankfully, it was on land, so you didn't have to worry about swimming all the way down towards the bottom of the ocean in hopes of trying not to drown.

Seeing that it was capsized, you quickly got onto the ship, searching around for the chest. Enchanted leather boots and helmet, iron and gold ingots, and some emeralds. Not a good find, but at least it offered some protection in the ways that you could protect yourself from the terminator. 

"Oh boy.. I need wood."

Mumbling to yourself, you didn't realize that you were way behind on your normal schedule and that the terminator was getting closer than you had expected. Collecting only two pieces of wood from the shipwreck, you dove back off, but nothing was around. Seaweed and everything else yes, but nothing was really around for you to get past this guy without having to go and try to fight him off. You knew he did about 5 hearts of damage, so a combo on yourself would definitely kill you right here and there. You couldn't fight him off with a stick, no less than you had enough iron nuggets to only make two ingots.

Thinking about it, you started to realize you heard dolphins. Dolphins, by the shore? Well, that was a bit surprising. Seeing the dolphin to the side, you swam quickly up to the shore, seeing that the dolphin had already given you the effect of fast swimming. Letting out a chuckle, and flipping the terminator off, you swam off quickly, and in a little of given time, you were very far away from them, the dolphin finally leaving you as you made your way to shore. Grabbing some of the sand and throwing it into the water after you hauled yourself from it, you made your way through the birch forest, grabbing whatever you could to make a crafting table and an iron sword for protection. Making some gold ingots as well and cutting down some more leaves for apples, you decided to check in on your chat, and boy were they going wild.

THEY DID A DREAM SFKDLSAJFKDAS DREAM IS LITERALLY QUAKING ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE NOT DREAM'S ALTER EGO, BECAUSE-

Literally, all you could do was laugh, trying to convince them that no, they weren't Dream's alter ego, and two, it was just pure luck, not a Dream move. If they hadn't noticed the shipwreck earlier, you wouldn't have even made it this far in the game. Now knowing that you had at least a crazy lead on him, and you can respond to some of the donations (which you literally told them not to, but thanks anyway for the crazy donations) and pulled them up, starting to get to work on how they should get to the nether while mining in a cave.

"Since we're so far ahead, let's go ahead and read some donations from our lovely degenerates! Fluffy123 says 'That was such a dream move, poggers', with 5 dollars! What have I told you guys about donations up to 5 dollars?! I don't need it! But thanks anyways Fluffy, I didn't know I can pull off such a Dream move!"

"DreamTeamSimp says 'When are you going to collab with Pixel again?' Well, after a bit! She's currently moving into her own house, so maybe in a week or so, you're going to see some more Minecraft and Fall Guys collabs with us! And 3 dollars! Thank you so much!"

"TommyPoggers says 'If you could have any wish, what would it be?' for 4 dollars! Thank you, and to answer your question Tommy, for us to stop having COVID-19. I don't REALLY want everything to go back to the way it was, but if I had to choose, it would be that, even though the earth does well without us, and it's beautiful anyway!"

"DreamWasTakenToMars says 'Would you actually do a collab with Sapnap if you could?' for 99 cents! Awww, thank you! And yeah, I would! Y'all, he even said 'Baka' on a stream, causing all of us weebs and geeks to go wild, so heck if I could, I definitely would if I could!"

After reading the donations, you continued to talk with your chat, making sure that everyone was doing okay before you started to go back to concentrating on the game at hand, yelling a small yes in triumph as you found diamonds, RIGHT above the diamond level.

"well, at least I'll die happily!"

"POGGERS! LET'S FREAKING GO!"

You had knocked the terminator in the void, and right before you could fall in too, you placed a water bucket on the end stone above you, climbing up the water before quickly grabbing it back into the bucket. Running back to where you had the beds ready, you dodged the nearby endermen as you placed down the water in the small end hole, blocking yourself with stone as you placed the final bed. Watching everything unfold, your viewers had grown from 700 to at least 1,000 in the span of the 3 hours you were playing. 

The bed blew up, the dragon unleashing a growl of pain before exploding in a nearby light, causing you to look down as the portal below you showed the purple glowing of the end, as you fell through. The end of Minecraft, as you found yourself back in the real world, watching your chat say so much loving stuff you couldn't help but laugh. Donations were flooding, hearts were booming, people were actually subscribing as you gave another laugh, adjusting the microphone in front of your mouth, giving your favorite viewers a salute.

"Pog. We did it, we beat Minecraft, with a literal robot on our tail. Poggers! And thanks to everyone that donated during the stream, I hope I read all of yours! Now, let's get to naming some of the last donations that actually happened during the final moments!"

"Jason says 'that was absolutely incredible! Dream has competition.' Jason, no. I will never be as good as the Minecraft speedrunner himself, but thanks for saying that! Oh! And thank you for the 2 dollar donation, it really means a lot!"

"SappyNappy says 'don't you just love it when you get to the end' with a TEN DOLLAR DONATION?! HOLY MAN, YOU'RE LIKE THE TOP DONATOR! THANK YOU! And yeah! It's the feeling of you ending out of that relation that makes it feel so good!"

Everyone was still celebrating in the chat as you read the chat to them out loud, laughing, smiling, fussing, whatever came your way, you would try and answer it as quickly as possible to get to the next person with a question. You had gone by Star for at least a month now, gaining some sizable attention for playing Minecraft colorblind like George, half the world was missing plus blocks had gravity like Sapnap and Minecraft Manhunts but with some special twist on them like Dream. You didn't mean to accidentally copy what they were doing, you were just doing it for fun, for your viewers, and for your enjoyment!

"Alright alright, you lovely degenerates! That is it for this stream of "Minecraft Youtuber vs. Terminator! As always, poggers, simps, and everyone else in between have a lovely day, and I'll see you, IN THE NIGHT-TIME SKY!"

You gave a small wave, with a closed eye smile before going offline, many people saying bye before you closed down your twitch stream. Now, to any of you wondering, yes you do have a twitch account, with at least 1k people who are really much the best people you could ever ask for. You found your phone buzzing on your bed, as you pulled up the shut down button for your computer, seeing that your phone was going absolutely bonkers.

Giving a small groan, you got up, and just flopped on your bed as you looked at your twitter, and boy oh boy, it was going INSANE with clips of you outsmarting a computer once again, and again, and you had to chuckle at everyone, throwing your phone to a nearby charging station, and flopping into your bed, you silently started to doze off, the fan above you slightly moving your (hair color) (hair length) hair as you snored slightly. You never did really check all of your messages though.

Begin Again

Despite the date, this is not a joke fic, just a short story starring Cleo.

Cleo was excited to join hermitcraft once again for season 5. Dreams of the lands she’ll discover, the structure’s she’ll build, and the adventures she’ll have filled her mind as she set out. She had joined slightly behind schedule, meaning she missed seeing her friends and meeting the new hermits. She wondered what newbies were like as she left the spawn island by boat.

After collecting some sunflowers that were on an island she passed by, Cleo reached the mainland. She soon found a desert temple and claimed it as her own. After carefully looting the place so as not to make the whole structure explode, she returned to the desert outside. She basked in the warmth of the setting sun, simply happy to be where she was.

Completely lost in her thoughts of what to do next, she didn’t notice the hissing sound coming from behind her until it was too late. The explosion knocked her off her feet and sent her face first into the sandy terrain. Having not gained any armor yet, she was already almost dead from the one attack. Zombies soon spawned near her as she tried to get up, but found she lacked the energy. Muttering under her breath in frustration, she bitterly accepted defeat as the zombies closed in on her.

Cleo slowly creaked open her eyes. She was laying on her back, but instead of the starry night sky she was expecting to see, all that was in front of her was darkness. When she moved her arms, she realised that she was inside of...something, and that she had very little room to move.

Thankfully, most blocks are not difficult to break in minecraft, seeing as you can tear down a tree with your bare hands. By hitting the dark block was in front of her head, it soon broke, giving her room to sit up. Above her was dirt, which lead her to wonder why she spawned in what she assumed was a small cave. She had originally thought that someone was pranking her by covering the spawn point, but digging out a few more blocks revealed that she was definitely underground.

Creating a makeshift stairway in the dirt, she soon reached the surface. What she saw greatly confused her. Instead of the spawn island, she appeared to be on the edge of a community area. It wasn’t very big, only a few building filled the space, and some of them still looked incomplete.

She took a couple steps forward, but soon stopped. Something felt wrong with, well, everything. It wasn’t painful, per say, just… strange. She looked downward at her body, and almost immediately recoiled in reaction to what she saw. Her skin was no longer light peach in color; It was now a pale green. Her favorite top was ripped in multiple places, and a bit of her ribcage was showing on the right side of her stomach. She stared in shock at her hands for many moments, completely bewildered by her sudden transformation.

The sun rose behind her as she forced herself to focus. Okay, so she was a zombie now. How did that happen? She was killed by zombies, but many others have died the same way and respawned like normal. Nothing about her fate seemed that special… other than that it was her first death of the season. Maybe that was it, perhaps there was an error with the server that caused this.

It was her best theory for now, so she tried taking a few more steps forward. She was still able to move just fine, the issue was that her entire body felt odd. It felt as if she was inside of an almost perfect replica of herself. So far though, it wasn’t all that bad. She wasn’t in any pain, all her memories were intact, and the rising sun wasn’t setting her on fire. There were other non-humans on the server after all, so maybe all she needed was some time to get used to her new form. Maybe. Time will tell, she supposed.

Slowly but surely, she made her way into the middle of the community area. On closer inspection, the area seemed to actually be a shopping district. There weren't a lot of shops yet, so she probably hasn’t been gone for much longer than a week. She decided that she should probably hurry and find the nearest person before she worries the others with her disappearance any more.

The sound of a sword being drawn caused her to whirl around. She found herself facing none other than Joe, her old friend, who had invited her to hermitcraft in the first place. For the first instant she was looking at him, he had a small frown on his face, and looked like he was about to charge at her. However, once he had a moment to look at her, his eyes widened in shock.

“C-Cleo!?”

“Oh! H-hey Joe…” Cleo stuttered, suddenly made painfully aware of her new appearance again. She glanced away to the side, the continued. “I don’t really understand it either, but-”

Cleo was abruptly cut off by the sound of a sword clattering to the ground and the force from Joe running up and wrapping her into a hug. “Cleo! It’s you! It’s- It’s really you!”

She gladly returned the hug, but was a bit confused by Joe’s tone and choice of words. “I know I’m a zombie now, but you make it seem like... like…” Cleo couldn’t help but trail off when she heard the soft sobs coming from her friend.

“You… We- we thought that you… We found your body, Cleo! You weren’t respawning- We didn’t know… You’ve been gone for a whole season, I... we all missed you so much, Cleo...”

Cleo stared at Joe as she processed what he said, and a realization soon dawned on her. That small cave she thought she respawned in was actually a coffin. She hugged Joe tighter as reality set in. “Oh god, I’ve been gone a whole season!? You all must’ve been so worried, I’m so sorry…”

It took a few minutes, but the two of them eventually calmed down. Joe moved back slightly and looked up at Cleo. “How… how did you even come back?”

Cleo scratched the back of her head. “I have no clue about the whole zombie thing, but I came to right over...there.” She pointed to where she had dug her way out of her own coffin. “Should we check it out?” With a small nod from Joe, the pair made their way over, Joe helping Cleo to walk faster.

When they reached the hole, Joe went down into it for a moment, then quickly came back up. “That’s definitely the coffin we put you in. The first two were Zedaph and Stress, who were the hermits that she never got the chance to meet when they joined in season 5. They talked to her about what happened after she died. Apparently, the hermits had tried many ways to revive her, including various mixtures of potions, beacon effects, and even loading a backup of the server, but nothing ever worked. While Cleo was sad that she caused them all to worry so much, it also warmed her now still heart that they tried so hard to get her back. She wondered to herself if one of those methods actually worked, just very slowly.

The other person she didn’t know was Grian. The single hermit new to season 6 was one of the last to talk to her. He greeted her quietly, but not shyly. After giving him a brief explanation of the situation, he gave her a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. He said that he knew the feeling of being the center of attention when the hermits found him alone on the new server. Wishing her luck, he headed out, and Cleo went back to talk with the others.

Now that the shock factor had passed, the chatter became more casual. Various hermits explained what happened in season 5. It was a bit disheartening to know that she missed so much, but she laughed along with the others as they talked about the pranks and mishaps, telling herself that It’s most certainly better than being dead.

Cleo also had a few conversations with the other non-human herits. She expressed a few of her worries to them about not being human anymore, and they cheered her up to the best of their ability. Doc specifically had given her a friendly pat on the back and said that they were now “Green skin buds.”

Before they knew it, it was starting to get late. Waving goodbye, the hermits slowly left to continue with their own agendas, eventually leaving only Cleo and Joe.

Cleo turned to face Joe. “So, what now?”

“Well, I’d like to check you over - make sure none of your limbs are at risk of falling off and whatnot, but that can wait till tomorrow. For now, lets head back to my place, seeing as you don’t have your own yet.”

They headed towards Joe’s Ministry of Truth, Joe explaining his plans to build statues in it, and Cleo expressing her desire to build a pirate ship base as they went. They soon reached the framework of the future building and headed into its basement.

Joe searched through his chests and soon after pulled out a cooked pork chop. However, when he offered it to Cleo, she refused.

“Why?”

“I dunno, it just doesn’t… look appetising, I guess. That sounds weird when I say it out loud.”

“Hmm…” Joe went through his chest a second time, and took out and uncooked pork chop this time. Suddenly realising how hungry she was, she quickly snatched it up and ate the whole thing.

Realising how fast she had eaten it afterwards, she gave Joe a sheepish grin. “Uh… side effect of being a zombie, I guess.” She chuckled nervously.

“It’s quite alright, Cleo,” he said reassuringly as he turned back to his supplies. Finding some wool and planks, Joe crafted a bed for Cleo and placed it down on the other side of the small room. Cleo hopped onto hers, and Joe started  to move over to his side of the room, but stopped and turned towards her. “You sure you’re alright? I imagine that all of this is a lot to take in.”

“Don’t worry, I’m fine.” It was mostly true. She still had her worries, but they weren’t nagging at her too much. Pausing for a moment, she grinned when she thought up a funny line. She put one hand on her hip and pointed the other into the air. “I’m no longer regular Cleo, I’m… ZombieCleo!”

Joe quietly laughed at her quip, and Cleo couldn’t help but smile proudly. He walked up to the light switch, and looked over towards her for the last time that day.

-As Yamato finds Cube Whale…Whoooo is completely ignoring him.

-Back at the cabin, Sela lays out that Misao is, ultimately, trying too damn hard. She gets the drive to self improve. She gets the anxiety about not being respected. And she’s not saying don’t work hard, just…You’ve got to be willing to calm down, to breathe, or you’re just going to end up flailing at your problems without actually solving them….And that’s when they both realize they don’t feel weighed down by poison anymore. The toxins have been neutralized! They’ve got to get out there!

-As Yamato is trying to figure out how to get through to Cube Whale, who’s put up a literal wall of water to block him out…While across the lake, Naria prepares her tools, only for Tiger, Lion and Elephant to arrive! -Yamato thinks, and thinks…And realizes his mistake. Cube Whale did not choose Cetas. No, he was born of Cetas’s will, and of the Earth’s strength…They were forged as one…Cube Whale has never known another…And he realizes just how far he’ll have to go, to be worthy of standing beside Cube Whale…

-Which is about when Bunglay finds him, and Instincts Awakened! Eagle splits a shot from Bunglay apart, keeping it from hitting Cube Whale, as the fight is on! Eagle won’t ask you to fight by their side, Cube Whale…But know this! You’re under their protection! He’ll keep you safe! Bunglay calls bullshit, leaping past Eagle…

-Only to get snared by Misao and Sela, who haul him in! And oh, now they’re mad. This just got personal. Instincts Awakened! Shark and The World(Crocodile ver.) leap into the fray, furious and full of will…

-As Naria manages to knock the other three back long enough to kick the mech straight to big formation. She lands it right into the lake, ready to snatch Cube Whale up! And this isn’t just the same GIFT they fought before…It’s a custom variant, made specifically for this, as it bombards the entire coast! -And through it all…Cube Whale watches. And sees how these six youths fight. As Eagle brings up both his swords, blocking one ferocious slash from Bunglay, holding the energy back…As the other five climb and haul themselves back onto their command cubes, forcing their mech to rise…!

-This planet. And this great creature. Are UNDER THEIR PROTECTION!

-And that…That is what gets through to Cube Whale, as it sees the same honor as its old partner in young Eagle…A humble human, with a heart the size of a whale’s…A single shot of his spout fires out a massive spear to land by Eagle’s feet, a spear that he takes up as the music swells…And which can match up against Bunglay’s anchors, not just holding him back but overpowering him!
