Timeline wise it wouldn’t work out but I’m like still thinking about the Young Justice Parent Teacher Conference and like I think be deeply funny in a dumpster fire trainwreck kind of way if Jack Drake had been there too. Nightwing is still there and they barely tolerate one another

He’s forced to wear sunglasses and a baseball cap and referred to solely as Robin’s dad and he keeps making bitter and passive aggressive comments about Batman.

By all accounts he and Helena Sandsmark should get along as archeological associates whose kids became vigilantes and refuse to give it up but they absolutely hate each other. He & Bonnie also loathe each other. The fighting is a 1000 times worse and the entire snack table is destroyed.

Jack makes a very pointed comment about how Nightwing isn’t Robin’s father and everyone thinks Robin’s home life is a messy gay divorce soap opera between Batman, his civilian ex-husband, and his new partner Nightwing.

I think he has the power to turn this already chaotic event into a complete and utter disaster that makes Red Tornado manage to get a full on migraine despite not being human. It would be hilarious.

This is going to be absolutely random but I've come up with a pun in Mai's surname "Tsurugi" if I were to translate it into Ukrainian:

She'd have surname Ніжна (gentle), as if showing how gentle and tender she is but actually... "Ніж" in ніжна is knife (which is English translation of Tsurugi, but more importantly, it's what she used to stab Q-taro). I love double meanings

Also, I think Kazumi could be transformed into Kazimierz if he were to be localised

A knife in Polish is also "nóż" and looking at "ніжна" it sounds similarly to "nożna" what is a part of "piłka nożna". And it's "football" in BrE (AmE soccer) and football in AmE is something completely different.

And yes!! I actually really agree with Mishima being Kazimierz. I believe that at some point I started even calling him Kazik <3 (an affectionate way to call Kazimierz :3) And honestly? He kinda looks like a guy whose name would be Kazimierz. <3 And Казимир suits him as well. <3 Though I don't know if this name is used in Ukraine. 😅

Mutuals, oofuri fans, and friends alike how would we all feel about an au where Mihashi retires from baseball because of Tommy John Surgery complications and takes up art instead and watches Abe continue on in his baseball career eventually becoming a coach for a group of lowsy but impressionable first years.

All the while Mihashi draws Abe and the places they go together. Mihashi aches to be on the field again, to feel his cleats digging into the well raked dirt of a mound, and to be able to be the only one Abe sees again. Even if just for a second he wants to be the only one Abe focuses on, he wants Abe to look at him and yearn for him the way his sketches of said man reflect his own yearning.

It's a terrible slow burn (because oofuri is nothing if not just one two decade long slow burn) and Mihashi thinks Abe will never want him the same way he wants the catcher turned coach, but Abe has only ever been looking at Mihashi.

He sees Mihashi everywhere, in nervous tics he picked up from the blond during the time he spent with the retired pitcher, he helicopters the kids on the team because he can't do it with Mihashi anymore and finds himself making extra riceballs when he packs his own lunches before work (he doesn't realize it until him and the first years are eating during practice but he hands them out to the kids who want them or whoever wins at rock paper scissors or an at bat challenge lol hes a bastard).

There's a film over his eyes that makes him only see Mihashi no matter how much he tries to blink or rub it away.
