Been thinking about Jude so here's something:

Jude is trilingual, given that her mom, Grace, travels a lot as a ryhorn racer( idk if I spelled that rice). I feel like the first four regions all speak the pokemon equivalent to Japanese ( cause the irl places they are based off of), so that was technically Jude's first language, then English ( which is mostly used for communication purposes worldwide). When moving to Kalos, he had to learn, well, French, and being such a quick learner, they got a good basic understanding. They eventually got more fluent over the years.

All of this is to say that sometimes just say words in Japanese( or at least the pokemon equivalent to it). Sometimes to curse, sure, but also they sometimes genuinely cannot remember a certain word and had to go through it in a different language. Also just having conversations in Japanese with her mom since it's what she's used to.

I've been thinking about Jude and co again, and should really write down my thoughts about what to do with XY less I forget.....again.
