This is my first ever rosekiller microfic so I hope you enjoy it. I'm only going to do this for a month because three microfics a day is insane. Anyway this is the final part of the Apple Core series. I've linked the previous ones below. Enjoy!

Barty was bored. 

“I’m bored!” He groaned into the room. He flipped himself over and grinned lewdly at Regulus, who had stopped by on his way home, want to have a go at that threesome we keep talking about?” He waggled his eyebrows suggestively. 

"That you've been talking about excessively, you mean?" Regulus said as he threw a cushion at Barty's head. Barty didn’t react quickly enough and got a mouth full of fluff. 

“Leave him be, B,” Evan chastised, coming back in with some vibrant green concoction in tall glasses. “Besides, he’s got his fancy new boyfriend to see to his needs,” Evan cackled as he twisted out of the way of Regulus’s second cushion throw of the evening. 

“He is not my boyfriend,” Regulus glowered at Evan. “We’re just hanging out.”

“Yeah, every day this week since you fell out of that tree into his waiting arms.” Barty sneered, batting his eyelashes. “You’re like a damn fairy story with your apples and Prince Charming. Ha, you’re Snow White!” Barty howled with laughter. 

“Na, he’s too pointy for a fair maiden, he’s more like the Evil Queen!” Evan snickered, which made Barty’s howls even louder.

“Oh my gods, he totally is!” Barty gasped, wiping tears from his eyes. 

“Shut up,” Regulus huffed. 

“I want to meet Justin,” Barty demanded, sitting up to stare at Regulus.

“Who’s Justin?” Regulus asked, confused. 

“Your Prince Charming,”

“His name is James and no way, I don’t want to scare him off,” Regulus froze in his seat as his phone buzzed. He looked at the clock and winced. Barty knew too well what that meant. Regulus was late getting home and Walburga would make him pay for it. It was ridiculous he was a grown man for crying out loud.

“Oui, Maman,” Regulus said into his phone before his mother hung up on him. He stood up to leave but looked back. “Would it be alright if I maybe left some of my things here? I might need to stay over for a few days as well?” Barty swallowed. Was this it? Was Regulus finally going to get out from under his parent’s thumb like he should have done years ago?

“Of course, you can,” Evan replied when Barty didn’t. “It’s your room for as long as you need it,”

“You could share ours, you know,” Barty butted in, trying to lighten the mood in the most Barty way possible. “It’s a big bed and sooooooo comfortable,” Regulus rolled his eyes and left them to it. 

“One day, he’s going to kill you, and I’ll let him,” Evan huffed. 

“One day he’s going to take me up on my offer, and I'm going to let him...” Barty grinned back toothily. 

“You. Bed. Now!” Evan pointed in the direction of their bedroom. 

“Yes, Sir,” Barty practically fell over his feet in his haste to get to their room and undressed.

wow what a fun ask.

okay i want to preface this by saying that i’m not really into poly ships, but im going to make an exception for this and try to be fair.

1. james/regulus/barty/evan: 5/10

i could this happening like one time as a fun anniversary gift for one of the couples, but i could never see the four of them in an actual relationship.

2. lily/barty/evan: 7/10

i like this to the extent that it is far superior to jegulily which is absolutely despise. i can see barty and evan as people who might have a looser definition of relationships and jealous than james or regulus so rosekiller with lily could be really fun. lily seems soft enough to dull some of their edges. plus the fanart is hot

3. narcissa/lily: 9/10

there is a lot of potential here, especially for angst purposes, but i think this ship would work best in like a bdsm fic/setting. like narcissa is older than lily and she’s definitely the most put together of all the malfoys so i could see her domming lily and i love that for them.

4. james/regulus/sirius/remus: 7/10

putting aside the incest for a second. i could see this happening like once or twice. however i think regulus and sirius are both extremely possessive and jealous people, remus and james too but not to the same extent, so i dont think they would like to share. however i think the possessiveness could be hot depending on how it’s used.

5. bellatrix/rita/mrs. zabini: 3/10

the thing about mrs. zabini is that i just don’t think she likes being tied down and i can’t see her enjoying it with two partners. i like quillkiller but mrs. zabini throws a wrench in things.

6. draco/dragon: 9/10

i have read all the fics with this tag, however i think charlie/dragon works better. but the best option imo is like draco/dragon animagus. so like a drarry fic where harry is a dragon animagus? that would be 10/10

7. james/barty: 3/10

i feel indifferent to this ship, but i don’t think it would work out. one of my closest friends irl is so barty core and i think a james person would piss her the fuck off, they would never work

8. lily/pandora/mary: 6/10

i think there is potential here for something soft and sweet but i would only read this ship if one of them was evil and out to hurt the other two.

9. mary/marlene/dorcas: 1/10

i just cannot see marlene with mary like at all. i actually don’t even think these two would be friends post hogwarts based on their personalities. i think they would seriously annoy each other

10. lucius/snape: 8/10

again so much angst potential. i’ve read this ship a few times, it used to pop a lot as a background ship so i would often see it, and i feel like it can work but there has to be discussions about power dynamics here for it to read well. i prefer snape with a non-magical oc personally

Random au- dark lord Severus? Evil Severus? Whatever it's random. @sevsssnape

Alright so basically everything that happens in Hp happens but it was all planned by Severus.

Around Severus's time in school he befriends a boy named Evan Rosier. After some time they both end falling love. Of course there's a war and neither of them wanted to be a part of it. So in order to avoid it they had planned to live in one of the Rosier's summer home in America.

After a year living in America, they go back to England to visit Family. Upon their visit Evan goes into Diagon Ally along with his father. Tho during the trip a few death eaters start an attack. Evan tries to help people get to safety and ends up coming face to face with an auror.

The auror seems to be someone who had some quarrel with Evan back in Hogwarts. Upon seeing him he firmly believes that Evan is part of this attack and fires at him. Evan of course tries to defend himself and explain that he isn't part of what's going on. A few minutes later and Moody shows up to help the random auror and now Evan has to fight for life and to avoid being wrongfully arrested.

Sadly after the attack ends Evan loses his life. His father is the one to find him and ttell Severus of it. Severus breaks down and his magic lashes out. Once he calms down he asks what happens and is told of the events. A day after the event he reads the daily prophet and sees that they wrote about the attack. In one of the paragraphs they write about how Evan Rosier was involved and declared a death eater.

Severus shakes in pure anger, he knew that was a lie and he knows that they knew it too. He thinks back on his school years and remebers all the injustice he's faced from the light that was supposed to protect him, that was supposed to protect everyone. From then forth he decides he's going to get the justice he so rightfully deserves and to avenge the love of life. He's going to get rid of light the way they took away his.

So he joins the death eaters, he hides his true purpose from Voldemort. He uses veritaserum of some of Voldemort's most loyal followers in order to gain more information about him. Once he got what he needed, he would then obliviate them.

He also used the imperio curse on several followers and made them defy Voldemort. He then eliminated them but not before having them denounce their loyalty. Afterwards he'd go to voldemort and show him that simple memory in order to move up the ranks.

From then forth he slowly manipulates most of the death eaters into doing what he says. Not only that but he gives Voldemort a potions that slowly drives him insane. He then makes plans to rid of everyone who had ever wronged him. First to rid of the Marauders.

This results in him going back to Hogwarts. He recently caught wind of the future child of James & Lily and decided to pay a visit to Trelawney. Somehow he manages to implant a false prophecy- the very one that ends the life of James Potter & Lily Evans, imprisons Sirius Black, and brings upon a war.

He's pleased with how things are going so far. Upon implanting the fake prophecy in Trelawney, he manages to get a job at Hogwarts. Not only that but he's talked Dumbledore into making him a spy for the order.

Everything seems to go well, the plans with Quirrel (tho he didn't expect to have his robe set ablaze), the plan with Riddle's diary (who would have thought Harry spoke parseltongue), the break out of Sirius black- tho he hadn't expected Dumbledore to hire Lupin or that lupin would neglect taking his wolfsbane potion. Merlin that man almost ruined his plans. (Also what kind of D.A.D.A teacher teaches boggarts as a first lesson! Bloody hell!)

Barty working at Hogwarts was his idea, something he brought up with Voldemort. Severus thought it'd seemed well enough and convinced Voldemort it was a good idea. A tiny part of him regret it after hearing what he did to Draco but it's fine he'll get revenge later.

Things went as expected afterwards. He's rather bummed that Cedric had died so he decided that he'll insure that Cedric's family stays safe during the war and after it. He's also annoyed to find out that Harry got hold of his old potions book, especially since he used his spell sectumsempra on Draco. Honestly at this point Draco is simply a moron who he can't help.

During the final war he speaks to voldemort within the whomping willow. After he's attacked by nagini harry, hermione, and ron end up barging in. Instead of giving up his memories he tells harry to use legilimency on him. Harry agrees and does as he is told.

Upon doing so Harry finds out the truth. That the real dark lord isn't Voldemort....it's Severus.

Harry backs away in horror as Severus begins to laugh. As Harry stands up and says that Severus is the real dark lord,he turns to his friends to find them both laying on the ground lifeless. Standing besides them are two death eaters.

Severus slowly rises from the ground while smiling, before harry could do anything he's hit with the killing curse. Severus wipes away the fake blood from his neck and goes to kill Voldemort.

Once voldemort is killed Severus manages to take over, he gains control of the entire wizarding world and he can do as he please. He'll create his own light, a light that no one can ever take away from him again.

After the war he sits in his study, in his home in America, staring at a portrait of the light he lost all those years ago, of the main reason the war truly begun, of his true love...

INDEPENDENT + RATIONAL + HARD WORKING

Academic, practical, and usually quite smart, these characters are pretty witty when you give them a chance. Although you wouldn’t guess it from their tough exterior, sometimes it can take them a while to come out of their shell and open up emotionally to people, but it’s definitely worth it when you get to know them. Mostly independent, sometimes these characters get surprised by how much they actually rely on others around them, but their inability to allow themselves to be vulnerable can sometimes be a bar between them and really trusting someone. They don’t like being told what to do, especially by those they deem less intelligent than themselves, which makes accessing their full potential difficult when they find it so hard to take advice. Freedom of thought and the ability to think outside of the box are their gifts along with hard work and dedication to their cause. Usually they don’t like to conform but not every character in this member group likes the spotlight either, so it can be a struggle for them to find a happy balance.

ASSERTIVE + FIERY + RESOURCEFUL

Feisty and opinionated, they probably fought you over something and then didn’t stop going on about it until you conceded you were wrong. These characters are the dreamers. The ones who often get swept away with their grand ideas about aspects of life and lost in their own thoughts and ideas. Emotional and full of heart, they tend to feel a lot of things… a lot of the time. Their hopes are too big for their heads and feelings too much for their hearts.
