Chelsea has a wheelchair now!🧑🏻‍🦽

idk in my mind she is disabled because she sustained injuries from a mountain lion attack during a hike so I got her a wheelchair

in my mind she is able to walk but sometimes she has days of chronic pain or fatigue that make it hard to walk or stand

sometimes Obie will push her wheelchair for her when she is too tired! they like to go for walks in the park and watch the birds together or just sit and talk about life.

I like this wheelchair, it's bigger than I thought but that's ok!

when I was in the hospital from April to May, I had to use a wheelchair to get around the hospital because I wasn't able to walk.

they are very helpful! but since I've started my treatment, I only sometimes use my rollator during the hard days. I'm like Chelsea, I can walk, but sometimes it is too tiring and too painful

sadly Chelsea's legs are not very nimble ehehe so she can't rest her feet on the foot rest but it's ok! I don't mind :)

anyway I plan to get more Barbies who use wheelchairs in the future, I really like these ones! they are so pretty!

hopefully I can find the Becky doll for a good price on eBay 😵‍💫😵‍💫 wish me luck

UPDATE: Girlypop Carebear Barbie obtained💗🥹‼️

I have LOTS of thoughts and opinions on modern (2015-) Barbie. I tend not to buy from the brand nowadays for a number of reasons. (Short summery, the quality/designs are just not there and it seems like a big waste of money.) However, when I looked at this doll, things just clicked and I knew I wanted her in my doll family.

I am so grateful that my mom supports me and my love of dolls and sent this diva to my school 🙏.

(2nd pic is her face next to a thrifted standard Millie, she’s my token mannequin doll lol. Also she doesn’t come with a Fanny pack. I already had that.)

Chelsea had fun today! got to go outside and explore! :3

I used the packaging bag that Sol came with, had to tape up some tears in the seams but it worked! kept all the ickies away from her uwu

I think her outfit was very fitting for the convention since it's comic book, movie, and tv show themed ehehe

also the vendor selling the doll clothes at the convention mentioned a market in November where she will be selling more clothes :o

hopefully I can make it to that!

I'm thinking of getting a clear shoulder bag so I can take my dollies with me and they can be on display. that way I can have them secured to me

luckily everyone respected my space because I had my rollator with me, so nobody got close to Chelsea (or me)! 😌
