i'm making this because i love smaller dolls (between 4-7" tall) and i wish there were more options that aren't toddlers/children😔 if anyone knows of a doll line i've missed, please let me know!!

I'm including these even though they're action figures because if someone wanted to swap the heads, I think the bodies would be a fun and unique choice for a custom doll

there are actually lots of interesting articulated action figures that have customization potential!

By sheer luck I managed to finally acquire one of my Barbie Extra Mini grails.... possibly one of the most famous (and frequently stolen borrowed) hoodie dresses in dolldom lol.

This is my first doll with tinsel hair, and I'm starting to understand why doll collectors dislike it so much. It bothered me way more than the "EXTRA CUTE" on the bangs did.

The accessories seem weirdly mismatched with the outfit, but I guess that's Barbie Extra in a nutshell. The dress itself is pretty forgiving in fit, though finagling the hood over her head was a bit messy.

I was so spoiled by the blind box BJDs being able to stand on their own that it's disappointing the Extra Minis can't. The stands are still a welcome addition, even if I'm concerned about the waist clip snapping any minute from the poor fit.

Of course I attempted an outfit swap with another doll, specifically the Penny's Box witch. The clothes from my other two Extra Minis (except maybe the jackets) don't really fit any other BJDs, so it's a relief that the hoodie fit perfectly.

The BJD clothes seem to fit great on Extra Minis too. I don't really swap clothes around much, so it'd be interesting to see what looks I can mix and match with what I've got.

Currently working on a wedding dress for my Barbie extra mini that i found for less than four euro. I’m not done yet but she already looks so cute!

The twins have officialy joined Jackie's crew! 🐻💙 And they are the tallest members!

They are Lego Scala dolls with lps heads. I still havent given them names, but im thinking both have to be unisex names. I imagine the blue fur twin is a boy and the other is non-binary. The red fur twin would be the oldest sibling :3

created this reference pic because i like bodytype/height variety and because i want to eventually make some gnome/halflings characters. other dolls that are short but aren’t toddlers/small kids i know of but don’t have are mattel cave club and mga lol tweens.

other notes: mattel spirit dolls are compatible with barbie extra minis out of the box and they even might have matching skintones. lol omg have their cartoony instagram baddie bodytype but they look most similar in size to curvy failfix doll (afaik failfix have different bodytypes too and maybe one is even a little bit taller?). and umm sorry abt two dolls being faceless, i haven’t got around to repainting them (again).

Cinderella Kitty: a variation

Halloween has, once again, snuck up on me, so I probably won’t be able to finish the remaining two chibi ghosts on time, and I still can’t find the motivation to keep working on my Silly Space Opera AU, especially as it has, apparently, already been done.

Nevertheless, I was being bugged by another silly idea I’d got somewhere between “It’s Behind You”, this delightful fic, and a modern-day AU I’m also, sadly, not writing.

It was supposed to be just Kitty in a Cinderella dress, but then it occurred to me that see-through wellies would do well as crystal shoes, and then I got carried away.

But I still think of her as Cinderella Kitty, so here goes.
