beat raphael. thought he was kind of... easy? a letdown? idk i guess there's an ironic meaning in that.

Banished two guys from the field with Hope, killed the rest fairly quickly with some AOE hits. Went around, smacked all the pillars, at some point Astarion died but Hope's healing is so good it barely matters. I decide to cast Eyebite on Raphael (ascended) with Gale, and it sticks, and he's afraid. This devil who's been targeting me for the entire game, and struck a deal with me for the Crown, who was always two steps ahead and three times as powerful, spent the last minute of his life cowering in a corner, too afraid to move. I stopped hitting him, even, and walked away as my ghouls (who barely deal any damage) finished him off. Kinda was hoping he had some secret second phase bullshit but nah he just died in the corner.

Feels like a bit of a letdown. It was very satisfying to bring him to his knees, I suppose, but I expected better. Hopefully the final boss is harder
