What Age a Child Should Go to Primary School?
The first day at school is a very important day not only for the kids but also their parents. The best view that a parent can get is seeing their child growing and learning new things. But most of the parents are confused about the age at which they should send their child to primary school.
Tumblr media
Primary school is the first stage of formal education after preschool. In preschool, they are treated very gently and without any stress. They are just made to feel comfortable with the learning environment. But the situation in primary school changes totally. The student has to get comfortable with new subjects and grading systems.
There is not any perfect age for primary school. Every child is different and takes a different time to grow. According to the definition of the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED), primary schooling should be normally started between the ages of 5-8.
Children start their preschool in the age group of 3-4 years. And once they are ready, they should start primary school as it helps the child to follow the perfect curriculum for their age in higher education. Global Indian Bangalore International School starts accepting admission for primary school for kids above five years.
Your child doesn't need to get ready at five. Some students need more time to step out of the house. It is better to wait for the child to be perfectly ready for school mentally and physically. Otherwise, it will be hard for them to catch up with the curriculum.

Continuous Evolution

“Teaching with a Purpose” and “Motivating Children Online” as both are extremely relevant for us today. While one course gave me insights on language learning, the other showed me how to incorporate elements of well being in both teaching and learning. Indeed a combination of academics and health makes education holistic to a large extent.

The power of connections!
https://www.ekyaschools.com/
Teaching, and being an educator…. What a beautiful feeling it is! … A journey of discovering new connections!
I have had around two years of in-class experience with the pre-primary children and have absolutely enjoyed and cherished every bit of it. And then came a sudden and unexpected turn in the lives of children and educators. Lots of questions started to cross my mind. Now what? How are we going to adapt to this? Online teaching? For the little ones? Will they be able to sit through the class and grasp concepts? Will we be able to deliver the content? Oh! and the concerns were never-ending.
But, as always, the little ones have completely managed to surprise me and proved that they can adapt to any change – be it handling a laptop/tab, muting and unmuting, communicating with their peers virtually, and being able to sit through for 30 mins in front of a physical space without much scope for movement that every preschooler yearns for. Students are doing a brilliant job of adapting to the current situation. They are sitting and are moving too and are trying every bit to embrace change.
