So, who knows the lore of 30 Minute Fantasy?

I wonder if the Maximilia are sentient at all or are they just highly advanced AI given a mechanical body (android). I'm assuming the Maximilia were developed in space and then sent back to Earth later so, are there any more native Earthlings? After seven centuries of work, those humans that were in space are now back on Earth, I presume. How have we humans not learned to live together in harmony after all those years?

I wonder what kind of 'external forces' the gate keeps out. This sounds like a fairly 'in the box' capitalist society so, clearly we haven't learned much. That being said, I'm somewhat appalled at the use of the word 'free' when describing the Republic.

A monarch that 'holds power over Maximilia' - if they are simply machines then, doesn't anyone who owns one hold power over it? The idea of the Rosan Empire 'subjugating' sound like propaganda. As if the story so far was written by the Liber Republic. It also seems as though the people of the Empire actually need help from the Republic, not war. If life in that area of the world is truly as difficult as it seems, then all the people of Earth should be banding together while the Maximilia in the region keep working to enhance the habitat.

We may find out in the lore later on that the Maximilia are actually sentient but, until then, I'm rooting for the Rosan Empire all the way! The Republic seem to be simply brainwashed and falling into the same trap as we here in the real world have with large language models (ai) and people thinking it's real and magical.

30 Minutes Fantasy Liber Knight

as usual, starting with the unarmored 'silhouette' form

this is really impressive with both the range and fluidness of the articulation

a lot of parts go into the joints and it looks like the designers learned from weaknesses in some 30MM designs

I attempted my usual painting strategy of putting metallic silver on the back side of the clear plastic part for the eyes, but its shape didn't really work with it if an LED could be fit into the head somehow it's probably look great though

while most of the parts are the same as the Liber Knight, the different helmet parts and the color scheme give a different vibe

the skull motif as part of the helmet really works

this reminds me a lot of the Shadow Paladin clan from Cardfight!!Vanguard

the armor design and colors remind me of the Royal Paladin clan in Cardfight!!Vanguard

the way that the pauldrons and hip armor attach is also well thought-out and feels like a development from 30MM

the armor collides a bit in wild poses

and with the Liber Holy Knight armor (since this was the release with the Class III armor in the same box)

the new gold accents and additional jewels make this setup look more like a Gold Paladin unit

the new parts make it a little bulkier but not as much as the Paladin armor would
