What's your favorite way to experience a narrative?
(movie, TV, book, comic, story told by a friend, play, audio drama, etc)
Oh man. This really depends on the medium and genre!
So movies - I love movies as a spectacle sometimes. Doesn't have to be action either. Even mundane stories about a couple of characters bumbling about is still a spectacular thing, because everyday life is filled with drama. I just find it interesting. But I really enjoy films when watching them with other people. Sometimes I love sitting somewhere comfy, like at home, and sharing snacks or getting cuddly with people while watching. Very enriching experience. :D
TV shows are a mixed bag. I've been spoilt by years of 6-episode long series in the UK, where every line of dialogue counts. There are some cracking American drama shows out there, but their sitcoms are always somewhat lacking for me. Like, the big jokes that get turned into memes are great! But they happen once an episode. Again, like movies, I enjoy watching them with other people, but I can happily watch through a series over a few nights by myself. Sometimes a familiar show is nice to have on in the background.
I am so out of touch with plays, audio dramas, podcasts, and the like. I'm sorry!
Sort of the same with comics. I grew up with the Dandy and the Beano, plus a compendium series of similar ones from the 50s to the 90s. I used to get them regularly, eat snacks and basically have a good chuckle. They were juvenile, but a lot of fun. Great, if erratic artwork too, with quite surreal characters. Have you ever read Bananaman? Absolutely barmy mix of Captain Marvel, Superman and Batman. Used to be a popular costume for people to wear at football matches, alongside Where's Wally. Anyway, I went through a patch of reading comics digitally on the PC. This was also at the height of webcomics, so it was and easy transition. But after that, I never stuck with them. Except webcomics. I quite like the Owl House ones on Tumblr, and Dragon Ball Multiverse is cool.
As for stories from my friends. There's no.preferred format. I want *them* to be comfortable when they tell me! But be prepared for lots of questions, because once I get invested, I ask a loooot...

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum (2005) - Tally Hall
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/51b049f770d3878b5efc9fac0e01ecb9/70a62a6c6fbed1a1-e4/s540x810/af8a6002eaf68eb661f924bf9073cf3cdbbedb0c.jpg)
Run time: 52:51
Number of tracks: 17
Favorite track: Taken for a Ride
Least favorite track: Two Wuv
Overall feelings: I'm gonna do this as two reviews, one as current me and one as younger me under the cut. Tally Hall was very influential during my middle school and highschool years and I still love them. They're a indie rock band if you haven't heard of them. If anyone ever asks me what my stand's name would be I always tell them Taken for a Ride, I think it's a fantastic song. The only reason I listen Two Wuv as my least favorite is because it is a little creepy of a song in hindsight. Overall I give them album a "I've been living a lie a metamorphical scheme" out of "there's a storm for every spring"
(15 year old Clock voice) Ok so this is a really cool band. They make some crazy music that's all over the place. I'm not really a fan of be born cause I don't like county sounding music but I guess it's alright. Bananaman is by far the best song and the music video is super trippy too. I really like spring and a storm too, it made me really existential one day for some reason. It's also really cool that they're from Michigan too!

SWITCH x Nogizaka46 5th Generation (20 Questions: Okamoto Hina, SWITCH Magazine; 20.06.2024)
V. Okamoto Hina: part of the 5th generation, born on the 17th of December, 2003, from Aichi Prefecture.

Q.1: The earliest memory you can still remember is...
A.1: The time when my father and I were playing in the park.
Q.2: When you were little, what did you want to become?
A.2: A ballet teacher.
Q.3: Had you not been a member of Nogizaka46 today, what do you think you'd have been doing now?
A.3: I think I'd have stood on stage, as a (professional) dancer.
Q.4: Something I like about my personality is...
A.4: Even if something unpleasant happens, I'll forget about it right away.
Q.5: Something I'd like to change about my personality is...
A.5: Once I get invested in something, I lose track of my surroundings.
Q.6: What made you laugh the most lately was...
A.6: I burst out laughing in the middle of the night while watching Jarujaru-san's Youtube channel. [Jarujaru is a manzai duo.]
[note, above you'll see a "manzai" mention. it's a traditional style of japanese comedy, comparable to a double act comedy. when referring to a "manzai duo", think of, say, bananaman, with the classic dynamic of boke/tsukkomi.]
Q.7: What made you the happiest lately was...
A.7: Riria-chan invited me to go out to the movies with her.
Q.8: Were you to have a time machine, which period of time would you visit and where would you go?
A.8: I'd like to go back to my time as an elementary schooler and learn the entirety of Japan's map by heart.
Q.9: What kind of person are you in the eyes of others?
A.9: Just now, I asked Sacchan and Teresa (this) and they told me I was the type (of person) that's too honest.
Q.10: Is that the case?
A.10: It might be so, because I usually don't ponder things too much before I speak.....
Q.11: What hairstyle would you like to try out in the future?
A.11: A bob and a short-cut hairstyle.
Q.12: When it comes to your room, something you make a fuss over is...
A.12: My dresser, my jewelry case.
Q.13: If you suddenly got three days off, you would...
A.13: Go to Sawayaka to eat hamburgers. I'd also like to go on a trip with the members.
["sawayaka" is renowned in japan for their amazing steaks. they actually have ~28 locations, but they're all located in shizuoka. since hinadani's born in aichi, and the distance between shizuoka and aichi is somewhere around 140km, it'd have to be a longer trip.]
Q.14: What I want most right now is...
A.14: A camera.
Q.15: What is something you have had for a long time, but haven't found yourself able to throw away?
A.15: The script for Sailor Moon.
Q.16: Something you just can't stop doing is...
A.16: Having snacks at midnight.
Q.17: What is your favourite season, and why?
A.17: Spring. Because I really love cherry blossoms.
Q.18: What is your favourite thing that you've bought recently?
A.18: My yogibo, my DSLR, and a drained yogurt maker.
[yogibo = a "life adaptable brand providing the best bean bag chairs and modular furniture in the industry". so, they sell various bean-bag-furniture, but they specialize in bean bag chairs in particular.
DSLR = digital single-lens reflex (camera)
drained yogurt maker = a product which can help you make drained yogurt just by putting in store-bought yogurt. for example, akebono is one of the companies selling something like this.]
Q.19: Since your debut, which area do you think you've improved in the most?
A.19: I think it's... my fear of singing having disappeared.
Q.20: At this very moment, what do you want to do the most?
A.20: Playing games. I really want to play Resident Evil-

Bar hopping at 8...
How did you spend your weekends from the ages of 8-12? Playing on bikes with your friends? Cinema trips? Cosy evenings around the TV watching Noel's House Party? Not quite the same in the Galunacy household. For 5 days of the week, my brother and I were normal school kids, but as the school bell rang on Friday (no, we didn't turn into bananaman/woman/person). We would be picked up by mum in the latest nuts/wildly impractical motor dad had purchased - Cherokee Chief, Aston Martin, Cheeseburger Mini. All bags packed and off to Gray's Inn Road, Holborn, London we schlepped for the weekend. (I write about the journeys in another blog post further down the page) This was where dad lived permanently, we could not live with him all the time as it was just too crazy. The commercial premises on Gray's Inn Road, opposite the soon to be ITN building at the beginning was where his electrical company was housed but later it evolved (naturally) into the first bar, music venue and restaurant. Never, really knowing what we would walk into, there was a fair amount of trepidation about what the weekend would hold. In the early days, it was pretty awesome. On the Friday evening, whilst my dad and mum would do work, my brother and I would fuck about with power tools in the basement. We would then go out for food on nearby Exmouth market, one of the biggest highlights - this was the late 80s so not much of that was around Steeple Bumpstead. Chinese and Indian, or across the road to dad's mad friends Italian restaurant. These were always fun nights, as we were either smashing poppadoms over our heads, asking for suicide sauce (my brother meant to say Soy Sauce, he was very little), or setting fire to those Amaretto Biscuit waxy wrappers to make wishes...dad would normally fall asleep in a bowl of whatever he was eating. Saturday mornings, would be where we had to keep quiet and amuse ourselves. So my brother and I would go back to the power tools, and sawing random bits of wood - how we managed to keep our limbs intact, I will never know. Mum and Dad would work, they ran the business together. If we were good - in the afternoon, there would be a fun trip out in London to one of the many attractions in the city. I have happy memories of Greenwich Observatory, Tower of London and various museums.
The Sunday's were where it all started to unravel, and to this day I am so thankful for pubs closing at 3pm! Remember that?! We would normally go to one of the famous pubs to watch lunchtime blues. Now these places were popular, so they were normally heaving, sweaty, loud and definitely no other kids there. We had to sit in the corner with a bottle of coca cola and some crisps and witness the fun unfold. Everyone drank Newcastle Brown Ale, everyone smelt like Newcastle Brown Ale, you stuck to the chairs and floors because well...Newcastle Brown Ale. We saw some amazing acts, in some legendary pubs and now I absolutely love that sort of music so I am thankful for this music education. In fact this would probably be my favourite way to spend a sunday afternoon now sans Newcastle Brown Ale. But to the ears of an 8-12 year old - it felt it was endless. An endless afternoon of music, that all sounded the same, whilst watching your dad get pissed and chat to his mates. It would get more and more raucous, people would talk at me with hot aley breath. Dad would go a bit on the turn and we would have to be careful to keep the 'we are enjoying this' faces plastered on our face. The best bit was when Mick the Jug (a real character in that scene) would walk around the pub getting money for the band - that meant we were on to last three songs and then in car, drop drunk dad off and drive back to our home ready for school on Monday.
In the early days, it felt like a big adventure - our weekend school news stories rivalled the other kids and quite often we were told off for 'creative writing'. To which we protested it was all true! We had two lives and it was exciting - but then came the Fenders - the bar. How the bar came about is another story, and a real turning point for our family and how these weekends would pan out.

Writing Prompts: Old Kids Shows vs New Kids Shows
This is a 'self-made' prompt, as it were. I made it myself! I was thinking about how the kids of today find the childhood programs of my era to be weird. The cartoons of the 80s and 90s certainly have some unique qualities, but then again, to me, the cartoons of today's era have some quirks all their own.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1a5d64214b9f1a4528728a2158df973a/9d34c435a45cc40e-84/s400x600/59845724d428a73b3b9bd3ee17e0e518c0a0027c.jpg)
Yes, Bananaman was real. A boy eats a banana and becomes a superhero. The not-so-subtle message is 'eat your fruit and veg to be big and strong'. Not a bad message, but it was delivered in a terrifying way. There is something profoundly strange at how Bananaman looks. He is very unnatural. His transformation was faintly disturbing. Somehow, this was allowed on air.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/618c8584bde563bf8d61caa3a8a9a97f/9d34c435a45cc40e-9e/s400x600/ada53950abeffaa4eb25b88340e2fb229b14e8b6.jpg)
Button Moon was quite a sweet, gentle show, aimed at small children.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/451d37f5e6601d66bee60c6bd17ea9a2/9d34c435a45cc40e-6f/s540x810/150fa58d23fa43a5f560a8e594ac7376b1503488.jpg)
Now this was a show I loved. It was called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles here, due to negative connotations with the term ninja. The show, about four teenage, erm, mutant turtles, named after famous Renaissance artists, became a huge global success, and I remember the immense excitement of waiting to see the live-action movie. The TV series was formulaic; the evil pair of Shredder and Krang would attack, the turtles would thwart them, they'd escape and try again. On rare occasions, there's be a two-parter, but each episode was usually standalone.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/eda40db7eaa1274f523e61f0aa8e7d51/9d34c435a45cc40e-17/s540x810/b82f6f96626d2323101177714dc3ddd4a69bdf28.jpg)
Darkwing Duck, like TMNT, was largely around standalone episodes. It was fun, it was pretty daft in places, and as with nearly all cartoons of the early 90s, actions and consequences of one episode did not carry over into the next. All that would begin to change with...
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/aea9fec0bb67caa6d35b6d2a4606876c/9d34c435a45cc40e-26/s540x810/6d4513c1d55210f2de9ce10f78f4912d52124288.jpg)
Gargoyles could have been called a 'TNG' reunion. Several cast members from Star Trek: The Next Generation had recurring roles, including Jonathan Frakes as the self-centred Xanatos, and Marina Sirtis as the villainous Demona. Brent Spiner turned up as a couple of characters, and other Star Trek alumni appeared too (David Warner, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks and Michael Dorn all starred, as did Nichelle Nichols. Gargoyles also broke the mould. Here was a darker, more serious show, that was still intended for children, but older children, and teens. It did not dumb things down. Actions had consequences. Characters made bad choices. There were story arcs lasting several episodes. It was a masterpiece, and it is a crime that Disney have not revisited this show. Modern cartoons now tend to have long-running threads, married to standalone episodes that might weave a thread into them. Kids are treated with respect, with a lot of 'kids' shows being quite sophisticated. Take for example, My Little Pony, which despite being aimed at small children, garnered a lot of respect for its storytelling and style. Sometimes kids TV can be very preachy (there was a Stargate show, Stargate Infinity, that was painfully over the top for this), and this can be be very off-putting. Some modern cartoons for older kids are, to me, surreal (then again, Bananaman is surreal to today's generation).
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2660bb188ef81e5d47276c369aba7bb1/9d34c435a45cc40e-f7/s540x810/deff4bcfc81fec959ab43813f55252dea6b58e65.jpg)
This is an insane show. It is filled with deliberately different forms of animation, and features some crazily different characters, in an eclectic world. It is bright and colourful on the surface, but some of the stories stray into grim territory! There is a wry sense of humour that underpins the slapstick element, and one of the characters - Richard - can give Homer Simpson a run for his money in the stupid dad stakes. I have laughed out loud several times at this show. It is quite brilliant.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/09df792b2e866a60b897d1da4b664a67/9d34c435a45cc40e-f2/s540x810/2123dde30bc733de8281ca14ac192abd8484d942.jpg)
Star vs the Forces of Evil is a show I myself sorely underestimated when I first saw it. Underneath the bubbly, zippy façade is a deep, cultivated show, with lore and history and creativity. There are long-running arcs, romances, themes of discrimination and oppression, and it's one of the most sophisticated shows out there.
The original DuckTales was an entertaining show with a catchy theme song. I enjoyed it. DuckTales 2017 is an absolutely superb show, a champion of gorgeous animation, great characters, and so many different ways of entertaining the audience. There is not a bad episode of this show, which both pays homage to the original show, whilst updating the characters and setting. I love this show so much that I have a tattoo of Scrooge McDuck on my arm, and I lamented its early demise in a lengthy post last year. Read the full article

okay stay with me folks cause i just had a fucking weird ass dream and now im stuck really invested in, of all things, a monsters vs aliens tma au. but not comedic. just very very loosely borrowing the actually really fucked up setting of “congrats on being a cryptid now were going to lock u up and throw u at stuff we dont want to deal with.”
basically, the Fears are much much weaker (and more fanon-typical vaguely benign) and can only create one singular avatar at a time. The Magnus Institute is a government “research” facility that finds and “contains” these dangerous creatures, studies them, and uses them to protect humanity from other manifestations of the fears. (pls dont ask about the Subjects, they’re fine and definitely not being constantly force-fed whichever fear chose them for unethical science and to make sure theyre strong enough to beat whatever we throw them at. even if they WERE its not like theyre human anymore anyway. its fine. theyre fine. also pls dont ask why there seems to be more regular manifestations for them to fight since this project started haha why would u even bring that up.)
featuring the fandom classics: Lonely!Martin, Desolation!Tim, Stranger!Sasha, and newly-Eye!Jon, after the previous eye avatar Died In An Unfortunate Accident In The Field.
listen i dont even have anything beyond the basic setting my brain just latched onto “dehumanization and imprisonment” and “superhero au” and went fully feral.
#the magnus archives#bananaman does something creative#maybe eventually#i kinda wanna write this but last time i tried writing it didnt work out very well so idk#if ppl are interested tho id love to keep talking about it#by which i mean i will force u to hear me infodump about it cause oh my god i cant stop thinking about it#anyway i only saw that fucking movie ONCE like 8 years ago so im not entirely sure what prompted this but here we are

石田お寿司 29/7/21 stream translation Part 1
T/n: This is not the full translation of the stream. I only translated the parts I could understand & interpret or parts I found interesting/important. I’m still a beginner in Japanese, so the translations may not be accurate. If you want to repost, please repost at your own risk. I’ve changed the format as this format seems better. I’ll be writing in this format from now on.
*Someone asked him about his throat.
I: My throat? It’s normal. (t/n: He had a sore throat a few weeks ago)
I: I was asleep when chp 5 was released. It was already dark when I woke up.
*People in the comment praised chp 5.
I: Thank you, thank you. I’m glad you liked it.
C: I’m waiting for the translation!
I: It coming soon. (t/n: He’s speaking in eng.) It sounds like a wrong eng.
C: Are you right handed?
I: Yes, I am.
I: For chapter 6, I’ll probably finish drawing it if I work until the day after tomorrow, even though I haven’t made any progress at all. After that, I’ll add in the typesetting and then it’ll probably finished around 2nd or 3rd August. I’d be bad if I couldn’t get it done after I’ve said this.
C: Fumi (Jack Jeanne’s character) plays erhu? (t/n: OP’s referring to JJ OST album’s illustration.)
I: Yeah. Kosemura Akira (composer for Jack Jeanne) wanted to use erhu when composing Fumi’s theme song. So, he asked a famous person to play it. It’s really rare to have erhu in songs. Not many people in Japan play it. Why did he choose erhu? Then, when imagining what kind of instruments suit each character, for Kai, he has that deep, bass feeling. So, his instrument is double bass. Piano is Kisa. Suzu is, of course, all about hitting the beat. Drum is an important instrument in rhythm creation. For yonaga, it’s a wind instrument. I want him to play a pipe. You won’t understand even if I talk about it. Should I leave the picture here? Wait a min, let me show you.
*Someone commented about Tokyo revengers’ illustration.
I: Oh yes, I did an illustration of Tokyo Revengers’ Mikey. I want to draw Draken as well.
*He showed the illustration of JJ’s characters with instruments.
I: I drew Shirota playing guitar. For some reason, I imagined he could play guitar. And then, instruments like viola (referring to Neji). Otori plays maracas.
I: That’s how it is. And then, we have the Sui exhibition in Nagoya. I’ve been writing report on the event. Isn’t it amazing? Probably not. It’s for myself after all. Rather than for myself, I’d get mixed up if the exhibition is held in a lot of places.
*He started Playing Ghosts n’ Goblins.
C: I really want to play Ghosts n’ Goblins, but it seems so stressful.
I: It’s not stressful, rather you’d feel angry.
*Giant monsters appeared.
I: Just now on discord, Goubaru texted me saying he wanted to call me, but I rejected. He’s expressing his anger right now. (t/n: He referred the monsters stomping the ground as angry Goubaru.)
C: Sensei, there’s no love counselling session today?
I: It seems like some of you were happy when I gave love advice. There’s someone who became a couple with her childhood friend. She said she’s gonna talk to her bf once again. What was the problem again? Something like she had trouble chatting with her bf through mail. I advised her not to then. Hahaha.
C: Do you remember people who always watch your livestream?
I: Not at all. I do remember you *****-san. (t/n: He mentioned OP’s name)
I: I tried listening to my own stream while working. When I listened to it, I realised I have a tendency to pick comments from specific people. There’re people who know to comment at the right timing, like Y****. (t/n: He mentioned the fan he always chats with) It seems like I pick them based on the colour (?), name length, and comments that are easy to pick. Weirdly enough, I always end up reading the comments from the same people.
*He’s fighting another angry and aggressive Goubaru.
C: Is Goubaru usually like this?
I: I wonder… I think so. But, he often wore this kind of down jacket, like for a year. A purple one. Even though the fabric wasn’t that thick, wearing a down jacket must be hot, right? He didn’t take it off when he’s in the workplace. He even wore it during summer. I asked him why, and he said it’s because he wanted to hide his body line. Sounds like a problem an attractive woman would’ve. I do kinda understand that. It’s probably the same reason as women who wears loose clothing as to not have their chest shown too much. He always wore purple down jackets due to reasons like that.
C: My dad also always wears down jackets in every season to hide his body line.
I: I’d tell those kind of people to lose weight.
C: Wearing down jacket and sweating is probably their way of losing weight.
I: No, but even if you sweat, you won’t lose weight. Those who’re dieting probably know this already, but sweating only reduce the water percentage in your body. Just because you sweat a lot doesn’t mean you’d lose weight. In the end, it all depends on the amount of fat you lose and the amount of muscle mass you gain.
I: With sauna, I don’t think you can lose weight. If you drink water, you gain back the amount of water you lost. However, if you don’t drink water for 2 days, you’d probably lose 2-3kg. Human bodies are made up of 70% of water after all.
C: Sauna only makes you feel refreshing.
I: Sauna makes you feel good. I think that, in itself, is nice too. It’s just that only fat people think that they can lose weight wearing down jacket.
(t/n: I might’ve translated it a bit harsh, but I don’t think he meant it in a bad way. Please don’t be offended.)
C: Did you tell that to him?
I: I told him a lot of things. Something like “you’re gonna die” or “you’re gonna have your limbs amputated”. I have a younger friend who’s slightly diabetic, I think. He had always been fat, though he sometimes went on diet. His family knew a lot of people in the medical field, so they kept telling him to go to hospital. When he did the examination, he was told that he had a chance of getting diabetes. But Goubaru is a slob, so he wouldn’t visit hospital by his own volition, though I’m not qualified to say that since I also don’t really visit hospitals. He might be in a worse condition since he wouldn’t get checked up, so I think it’s best for him to lose weight.
I: Why being fat is not good for your health is because when the fat dissolves in your blood, the blood vessels will get clogged. That’s why I think it’s not good.
C: How much is your body fat percentage (BFP)?
I: How much is it…I’m not aiming to be ridiculously skinny or whatever. The average would be around 16-17%? It’d be great if I can get there. When I was on a rigorous diet, my BFP was as low as 13%. Some people are able to get to 10%. I wonder how they do that?
I: I’ve heard from someone about Goubaru’s body fat percentage. I’ve been talking about him, but his BFP is scary. It seems like he has 45% of fat in his body. He is nothing but a lump of fats already. The mother in Atashinchi (a classic manga) is also the same. Do you guys know Atashinchi? The mother is kinda fat. She’s also has around 45% BFP I think.
C: How much does Goubaru weigh?
I: I think he already surpassed 100kg, but I don’t know about now.
C: To be able to surpass 100kg is a talent.
I: Right. I’ve heard about that in Bananaman’s (Japanese comedy duo) radio or something. Mr. Himura (a member of Bananaman) was around 90kg at that time, though I don’t know his weight now. It’s probably around 10 years ago. He said he’s weighed more than 100kg, and that weighing 105 kg is a talent. 100kg was like the threshold for your body and you surpassed that limit.
C: There’s someone like Goubaru in my class.
I: But you don’t know him. Do you mean him having the same weight?
C: My classmate who weighs over 100kg broke the school chair just by sitting on it.
I: The weight is one thing, but even though chairs could withstand heavy amount of load, they’re not durable. Goubaru’s chair made a few scary noises whenever he sat down. It sounded similar to the sound effect of the door being opened in Inagawa Junji’s (an actor & ghost storyteller) ghost stories. I thought Mr. Junji was there.

(monster hunter asks)
>:)
A L L
Bitch BET-
1. Weapon main?
Hammer all day every day. My 2nd world playthrough I've specifically given myself the challenge of "use anything but hammer" and I've been loving lance ngl! And in rise, Hunting Horn has surprisingly been a blast to play!
2. Favorite armor set?
Probably the Vaal Hazak armor from world. Dyed blue, it looks absolutely AMAZING!!!
3. What's your HR?
In World my HR is 454 and MR is 324, and in rise my HR is 129! Played a shit ton of world and iceborne back when they were getting updates.
4. Coolest weapon?
EASILY the Seltas hammer from 4u and GU. Its a ROCKET POWERED DRILL HAMMER!!!
5. Favorite Monsters?
Bazelgeuse and Seltas Queen! I've gone on about both of them, but long story short I adore both their designs and fights, and have some very fond memories of both!
6. Favorite game in the series?
Easily World and Iceborne. The biggest gripe people had with iceborne was the clutch claw, and as any other hammer main can tell you, we ADORED the clutch claw, and honestly as mich as people love rise, I prefer world in nearly every way. Not even just iceborne, but WORLD. Sunbreak has some big shoes to fill is it wants to even match Iceborne in my eyes.
7. First Monster Hunter game?
4U on my 3ds! Still have the cartridge somewhere, but i completely abandoned it come world, and GU put the nail in that coffin. Might revisit it at a later point, but not now.
8. What weapon would you like to learn?
I mean, with me playing a lot of hammer, lance in world, and hunting horn in rise, and knowing how to play the bowguns, there's not much else I really want to learn. Maybe gunlance if I had to pick one? Idk.
9. Did you use prowler much?
Nah, never used it. Loved monster hunter for it's combat, and prowler felt a bit too removed and just off to me.
10. Scariest monster to fight?
Easily Iceborne Fatalis. 1 wrong move and you're fuckin dead, and play too slow and careful and you time out. A major rush where everything must go right and every move can spell certain death.
11. What's something you wish the games had?
Honestly, a fist weapon (no, rajang dual blades don't count). I wanna be able to run up to a Dalamadur and just PUNCH IT YEAH-
12. Best/worst name you've given a palico and palemute?
Best is probably my palico cinnamon bun in world, worst is my all yellow palemute named bananaman lmao.
13. Favorite area(s) to hunt in?
Definitely the elders recess in MHW. My god the slopes and ledges in there were amazing to use with Hammer! The Hoarfrost reach wins best looking though.
14. If you could do any crossover, what would it be?
RWBY without question. I mean, the Hunstmen and Grimm and Hunters and Monsters thing are similar to the point a crossover could be done EASY! Plus, theres so many cool weapons in RWBY that would look great brought into monster hunter, and we could even fight a cool grimm!
15. Opinion on fan-made monsters?
Usually cool, nothin more or less. I do like some of the hybrid monsters I've seen, and LOVE some of the subspecies and deviants I've seen as well!
16. Unpopular oponions?
A few:
GS and dual blades to a degree are simple to the point of being kinda lame in my eyes.
Fucking HATE Tigrex, and not a big fan of nargacuga, mizu, or rathalos. All popular and cool in their own rights, but not a fan personally.
The arch tempereds in World were good at minimum, and the way their armor worked is how the apexs should have worked in Rise.
MHW Alatreon is a great fight as long as you actually pay attention and play by its rules.
The clutch claw was a great idea, just not the best execution with some weapons and monsters.
17. Would you recommend the games?
YES! A MILLION TIMES YES! World is on practically EVERYTHING, and honestly world alone I could sing the praises of for days on end, let alone the other games. If you haven't played a monster hunter game, play world or rise ASAP!!!
...this is where I'd say ask away but... all tge prompts were awnsered here... idk.

1, 5 and 17 for the ask game!!!
1. What is your favourite cartoon?
Oh man, this one is tricky because there are so many! We bear bears is up there, Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb. Then there are the classics like Bananaman and Danger Mouse! I never realised I loved so many cartoons!
5. What is Your favourite game?
I have a life long ban (from my mother) from playing Monopoly but I do love that game, I just get too competitive. Computer game wise I’d have to say any of the Fable games, Plants vs Zombies or Portal. I do love the Mario games too. Oh man!
17. Who is your favourite singer?
I have to just pick one!?! Jeremy Jordan. If I had to listen to just one person then that’s who I pick.
