I went for a trekking and river rafting trip this weekend and had a great fun time. πŸŒŠπŸŽ‹πŸͺ΅πŸŒ³Do you know that these bamboo rafts were a traditional method of transport goods in the past before the roads were built? It was made from a dozen of long bamboo poles tied together. The local guide direct the raft with the long pole. It is a fun activity indeed. You don’t need to row; just sit tight, enjoy the scenery along the river and try to balance yourself as the raft are very unstable. Oh and holding your belonging up high as well since the waterline is very low that your ass will be soaking in the river all the time! πŸ˜‚ #riverrafting #bamboorafting #bambooraft #rafting #raftingtrip #monvatoo #monvatoodragon #dragonsjourney #dragonjewelry #dragonjewellery #advanturetime #advanturetrip #outdoorjewelry #vacationjewelry #vacationjewellery #dragonring #bluedragon #bluedragonring #bluedragonbracelet #dragonbracelet #dragonstuds #dragonnecklace #bluedragonnecklace #bluedragonearrings #rivercruise #holidayjewelry #holidayjewellery #holidaydestination https://www.instagram.com/p/ClMx5VlSyAg/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

More fun in the Philippines! Just had an amazing time at Lake Pandin, and I've got to say it's worth checking out. We took a bamboo raft across the lake, which was an experience in itself. The view from the middle of the lake was incredible. Plus, we had lunch right there on the raft! They served us grilled tilapia, pako salad from the mountains, shrimps in coconut milk, and halo-halo for dessert. It was some seriously good local cuisine. There's more to do at Lake Pandin than just eating and rafting, though. You can go for a swim in the lake's crystal-clear waters, or if you're up for a bit of an adventure, hike over to its twin, Lake Yambo. If you're the camping type, you can even pitch a tent for the night. And let's not forget about the fishing - the lake is full of freshwater shrimps, tilapia, and catfish. Getting to Lake Pandin was easier than I expected. It's about a two-hour ride from Manila to San Pablo. So, if you're looking for a laid-back getaway from the city or just a nice spot to connect with nature, I'd definitely recommend Lake Pandin. #getaway #tourism #pandinlake #sanpablo #morefuninthephilippines #lake #saturdayvibes #naturelovers #naturephoto #ecotourism #placestogo #adventurer #sunny #summer #summertime #resort #research #lagunalake #laguna #basin #freshwater #bambooraft #philippinestravel #bestplacestogo β€” view on Instagram https://scontent-iad3-2.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.29350-15/357639778_793620745505975_4924318948708780189_n.webp?stp=dst-jpg&_nc_cat=111&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=8ae9d6&_nc_ohc=ors7lupEZyAAX9gVFKk&_nc_ht=scontent-iad3-2.cdninstagram.com&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&oh=00_AfBmFyLS43wnoOkyAdXJxs80AfVEhjvsx-sxgOLi8vjwnA&oe=64A5B590

the water actually had an unnatural green glow (not completely apparent in the photo). Maybe algae in the water or maybe just the unrelenting green from bamboo and the odd evergreen that covered every square inch of the region.
