But unlike floor time that fixes your back, this is floor time that makes your knees worse! When I went to start renovations in the attic, I had the (tile!) floor under the carpet tested and to my total lack of surprise it returned positive for asbestos. As it wasn’t possible to remove the tack strips for the carpet without releasing The Asbestos, I had the professionals come in and take it all out.

Imagine the reaction when shen yuan manages to drag his ass back to binghe though. Like I'm thinking it was a 'I am a demon so I must throw myself into the abyss else binghe will kill me' situation but this is Shen Yuan we're talking about and dude probably gets Mobei-jun to teleport him back to the peaks just so he can watch binghe from a distance.

So like imagine being a disciple and seeing what you're 90% sure is the ghost of your ex head disciple just hiding behind a tree and watching your shizun. Suddenly your shizun's habit of talking to air and seeing Shen Yuan where he shouldn't be takes on a much more concerning vibe.

Meanwhile Binghe can 100% sense Shen Yuan and is having one long mental breakdown over if he should go now or if he should figure out why he jumped first before he makes contact again. He's considering getting an apron that says "I miss my demon wife" but Meng Mo (who is a hall master in this because it isn't binghe without a grumpy old man judging him at all times) told him that that was coming on way too strong and also raised way too many questions if anyone other than shen yuan saw it.

Shen Yuan keeps 'stumbling' across abandoned picnic baskets full of Binghe's delicious cooking and he's very apologetic but he can't help but steal them each time. (Binghe constantly has at least one of them prepared in case he senses Shen Yuan anywhere)

Mobei-jun is torn between wanting to murder his new weird awkward boss and being happy about the fact that with Shen Yuan's advice he seems to actually be making headway on the seducing shang qinghua front. (He has no idea why bringing his advisor rare trinkets and food from far off tribes works better than demonstrating his strength but a win is a win; shang qinghua is a bit weird anyway, he knew what he signed up for)

on a completely separate note; shizun luo binghe with a disciple shen yuan who fell into the abyss??? *thinks about LBH canonically stealing SQQ's corpse for 5 years* he'd hallucinate i think. like, like visual and audial hallucinations.

Keeps thinking he's seeing SQQ in the corner of his eyes, or wandering between the trees, amongst a group of disciples. Thinks he hears him calling for him, but its just the wind or another disciple.

Gets Xiu Ya reforged but patently fucking refuses to make a sword mound. Because his disciple Is Not Dead :))) There was No Body. He's Not Dead. And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.

Also this motherfucker?? does not sleep btw. He has the image of SQQ, wide eyed and hysterical and standing at the mouth of the abyss burned into his fucking eyelids. Can't use the dreamscape to escape it either because he keeps trying to save him and either he does and it's an incredibly cruel trick to wake up to, or he doesn't and he gets his heart broken in several different pieces again.

There is no convincing this man that Shen Qingqiu is dead. Absolutely nothing at all. He is buried so deep in denial that moles would be jealous of how deep he is. He keeps making tea for two in the bamboo house only to remember that it's just him. SQQ's fans are hiding everywhere, little reminders of his presence. He goes to wake up SQQ on the mornings he sleeps in-- only to find the room empty.
