Premios Graffiti 2020 - Ceremonia y Nominados

Con una ceremonia de lanzamiento en el Teatro Macció de San José, fueron develados en el día de ayer los nominados a los Premios Graffiti 2020.

Con los shows en vivo de AFC, Clarisa Prince, Pecho E Fierro, Francesca y Pólvora en Chimangos; los Premios Graffiti llegaron por primera vez al interior del país.  Fue así como el Teatro Macció de San José fue escenario en la noche de ayer para el lanzamiento de la Décimo-octava edición de los premios a la música uruguaya. En adición al anuncio de las más de 40 categorías y sus respectivos nominados, se conoció el merecedor del primero de los premios de éste año: Mejor Libro sobre Música Uruguaya - que fuera otorgado a “Galemire - Su Música y Su Tiempo” de Eduardo Rivero. 

Los demás ganadores serán anunciados en la Ceremonia de Entrega este 19 y 20 de Octubre en el Auditorio del Sodre; junto con los seleccionados por el voto popular. El público podrá decidir a través de la web de los Premios Graffiti los ganadores en las categorías:  Álbum del Año (teniendo como base los ya nominados), Tema Popular del Año (entre 5 temas elegidos por el jurado) y Artista del Año (libre entre todos los artistas uruguayos que tuvieran actividad en 2019). Éste último recibe - a partir de esta edición - el nombre de Omar Gutiérrez en homenaje al comunicador maragato.  

Sabemos que comprar todos los números de la lotería no garantiza hacerse acreedor del premio, y no necesariamente los artistas más nominados sean los ganadores; pero al menos al momento, las ternas benefician a el Cuarteto de Nos (con 7 nominaciones), seguidos de No Te Va a Gustar y Nicolás Molina (con 5). ¿Serán las figuritas conocidas del rock uruguayo quienes salgan victoriosas en ésta nueva edición de los Grammy locales?. Hay que esperar algunas semanas para saberlo.

LELÉ brilló en la noche de Buenos Aires

Pasadas las 21 hs en este frío invierno porteño, el calor de sus seguidores recibió a Lelé en el escenario del mítico recinto de San Telmo

Con un canto dedicado “a todos los que dijeron que Lelé no va a poder” comenzó su primer show en La Trastienda de Buenos Aires

En una noche llena de invitados, amigos y familia, la artista presentó oficialmente su disco por primera vez en un show propio, aunque ya el pasado marzo había debutado en el Lollapalooza Argentina y también fue parte del festival Provincia Emergente.

Cada uno de sus temas como Aire y Veneno, Todo lo que soy, Haters, fue sonando con emoción y cada invitado ovacionado a la par.

Pasaron por el escenario: Bambi con quien interpretó el tema Lo Nuestro que el artista compuso y canta junto a Mon Laferte en su disco y Natalie Perez con quien hizo Tiempos de Amar que Lelé produjo con Benjamin Amadeo.

Con Poly Sallustro al piano versionaron La Llave de Abel Pintos y La Benjamín cuya composición es de Poly y ambas cantan  en el disco debut de Lelé. El carismático Leo García sumó su dulce voz y su alegría para hacer juntos su tema La Isla Del Sol y Fuiste de Gilda y Contigo, que fue compuesta por Chano y cortina de ShowMatch.

Además convocó a Patricio Ramírez para interpretar “Soy Cuervo”, un rap dedicado especialmente a la familia Tinelli y a los hinchas de San Lorenzo. Patricio, es oriundo del Barrio Itati, Quilmes, y forma parte del Programa Arte en Barrios de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.

Antes de finalizar, Lelé presentó a su banda formada por los talentosos Diega Lichtenstein, Nikko Taranto, Fer Cosenza, Fiona Gianandrea y Dani Flombaum y anunció su último tema Yo.

Todas sus canciones muestran un contenido autobiográfico y dejan un mensaje que apunta a la valoración personal y a no abandonar los sueños. El sueño de Lelé ya es una realidad, solo hay que escucharla sin juzgamientos y disfrutar.

Brother 1 has a fondness for Rosaylie once she starts fighting back. He enjoys the thrill of the chase. The harder she fights, the more he enjoys it. The couple times they actually got to fight, one on one, it left him wired. When she got away from their first encounter, it left him eager to run into her again.

Brother 2 has a fondness for Bambi. She's small and forgiving. She doesn't quite beg for her life the way others have. She definitely encourages him to see her as a person, though. Brother 2 lets her go once, hoping that maybe, just maybe she'll get out of here, but he also worries because if his brother catches her, he knows she's going to be disregarded as if she is worth nothing. He hopes that if she must be caught again, it's him who's doing it. He would at least be easy on her.

Whenever I made Bambi's playlist, my brain was so big because ohmygod, there is not a single skip on this thing, and I think she would love every single song. This is by far my best playlist for my OCs. Everyone else needs a massive overhaul. Bambita's, though? Utter perfection.

Bambi goes to Miriam at the lab one day, only to find that Miriam has hired a new assistant who she will not let Bambi introduce herself to. Bambi is also given strict orders to only call the new assistant, "Assistant". Bambi is terrified and thrilled all at the same time.

1. Green Comet

Bambi sat with Lazlo on one of the many viewing platforms built onto the Curiouses' roof. Supposedly, the comet is supposed to be visible to the naked eye. Bambi has never had luck with stuff like that.

"You lived in a desert before moving out here to Strangetown, right? So you know what it's like trying to see galactic stuff like this." Lazlo reached over and grabbed another slice of pepperoni and black olive pizza, Bambi and his favorite.

"Uh huh. But Gaia was always better at spotting this stuff. She says it's 'cause her name is 'Gaia', she's extra connected to the Earth or whatever." Bambi barely glanced over at Lazlo, he was looking at the sky, pizza in his mouth, mid-bite.

"I believe that. The couple times I've met her, she seems like... deeply rooted in all this. Calm in the way a cool breeze is, ya know?

"I know she gets angry and stuff, but Bambita, rage is also part of the Earth ya know? Natural disasters. Storms. I get why she sees that shit easily." Lazlo nodded his head as he spoke.

Bambi rolled her eyes.

"Yeah sure. I get that, but Laz, it takes more than being connected to the Earth! I love space! It's partially why I moved here! Why aren't I-"

"Fungus, look." Lazlo gestured to the sky with his lips, a smile slipping onto his face.

Bambi’s eye lit up as she watched the comet passing by overhead. She didn't care that she didn't spot it, she was just glad to see it.

Bambi being excited to finally do fucked up experiment stuff and immediately being put in her place by Miriam who says she isn't quite ready yet. This disappoints Bambi to no end..

Woo Woo: What’s their relationship like with their parents/guardians?

Genevieve- She is extremely close to her parents. They wanted kids forever so when they finally did they just never wanted to let her or her brother out of their sight. Their over protectiveness definitely led to Genevieve being super clingy and afraid of the world because her parents did everything for her. Despite that, she loves her parents very much and values their opinion of anything.

Ivy Nicole- She was a daddy's girl through and through. She used to be glued to his side. That was until puberty hit. Her father and mother have no idea how to deal with her emotions. So they didn't. This left Ivy Nicole confused and feeling abandoned to some extent. Her older brothers, stepped in more as parental figures during this time. Ivy Nicole and her parents never quite got passed this bump in the road.

Jesús- He's a mommas boy. But so is his Twin brother. They'd do anything for their mom. She's a hardworker. Jesús also gets along well with his dad, who tries hard to be good for his boys. Overall, Jesús' family is healthy and whole (even though his mother has no idea how he ended up this way).

Rosaylie- Tellio and Rosaylie are a very confusing duo. Rosaylie and Tellio would die for each other. They would kill for each other. One day they will be the other's end.

Gaia- She has a very strained relationship with her parents. Gaia's mother and father are from Mexico. They came to the states to give Gaia and her little brother a better life. Her mother has dealt with intense depression and homesickness for as long as Gaia has been alive. Gaia harbored a sort of resentment towards her mother because of this. Gaia's father had to work a couple jobs to keep their family afloat. He wasn't around and had to balance being a stern father, friendly father and responsible father. This led to him and Gaia butting heads often.

Bambi- She is extremely close to her parents. She and her mom are best friends. And she's her father's angel. She has a much better relationship with her parents than her older brother does. Bambi does often feel pressured to be perfect, but she has learned to talk to her parents about that through therapy so she no longer has anxiety attacks.

Mimosa: Has your oc ever committed any crimes? If so, what did they do? If not, what would they be most likely to do?

Genevieve- She hasn't. She's too shy/anxious to do so. She has no reason to steal and she has no desire to do so.

Ivy Nicole- She was raised by two older brothers that taught her how to cheat, steal, and scam just about anything. She loves pickpocketing and tries to steal stuff from her friends (which she returns) all the time.

Jesús- He's been a part of several illegal gambling rings and has dealt and bought all kinds of drugs. He's also solicited prostitutes. Just anything seedy, he's done it.

Rosaylie- She helps her dad run a cartel. She's done a lot of bad stuff sksksk.

Gaia- She stuck up a gas station once. She got such a high from it, it scared her and she never did it again. She's stolen a car or two but these days she just smokes pot which isn't legal in Nevalizona.

Bambi- She does shrooms and acid. That's the only crime she's committing.

Mai Tai: How was your oc's life growing up? Did they do well in school if they attended? Do they have any awkward teenage memories?

Genevieve- She was eager about life. Big eyed and excited. Sometime in her early teens this changed and she developed massive anxiety, thus rendering her terrified of the world. She did great in school, since that's what she spent most of her time doing. She had a super embarrassing interaction with a boy she had a crush on. She thinks about it on occasion and wants to die lol.

Ivy Nicole- Messy messy messy. A lot was going on in her life. Her parents were busy, her brothers raised her. She felt her parents grow distant. Overall she didn't have a good time. My God she sucked at school. She went to an all girls catholic school and only did well during the religion specific classes and even then she got in a lot of trouble. She has plenty awkward teenage memories but one that haunts her, is one of the Sisters, grabbing something she was writing and read it to the class. It was the worst.

Jesús- He had a good upbringing. His parents love him and his Twin brother a lot. He got himself into a lot of trouble, but looks back at the early years with fondness. Jesús dropped out of high school. He made it to his Junior year before he bounced. Francisco his Twin brother, graduated. Jesús is a loser so he has plenty of awkward teenage memories. Once he was at a party and he had been eyeing this girl the entire night. He finally put a move on her and she laughed in his face. He played it off but it tore him up inside.

Rosaylie- Oh boy. This is a tough one. Let me just say, growing up her life was rocky to say the least. Her father kept her from her mother and other siblings, pitting them all against each other. She used to think Tellio was a good dad until her early 20s. Then she had a massive change of heart and has been terrified of him ever since. She did great in school. Tellio refused to "have a stupid daughter" so he made sure she had the best help and guidance. This girl is nothing but an awkward teenage memory. When she was 16, she and her on and off again (terrible ass) boyfriend, Zeke, tried to sneak off one night and decided to go to the beach the same night a weird party was being thrown. Zeke and her thought it was funny and uncomfortable.

Gaia- She didn't have a great upbringing. She pulled away a lot from her parents. And her parents didn't know what to do with her. She is extremely close to her little brother though. That's her everything. She did alright in school. She could have done great if she applied herself a bit more. Of course was awkward teenage memories but if she told ya, she'd have to kill ya😉

Bambi- She had a great upbringing. She's close to her parents. She's close to her older brother. She had a little trouble when her mental illnesses started appearing but her mom had her go to a therapist early on. She did struggle with her brother getting into so much trouble. He's been in and out of prison for awhile. She did ah-maze-ing in school!!!! She was expected to, and she made her parents proud. Bambi has so many awkward moments, I cannot pick one to be specific about. She's a nerd. She's a dork. She's a freak. She's a mushroom. That's all you need to know.

Daiquiri: Is your oc a smoker? If so, do they plan on quitting?

Genevieve- Genevieve doesn't smoke often. In college she smoked a tad bit more. But she cutback when started working. She mostly just shares a cigarette with Connor. Since he smokes so much, she can almost always just ask for a puff. She has no plans on ever stopping. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Ivy Nicole- She smoked more in high school than she does now. She kinda just forgets about it. She's not someone that needs to smoke a lot. She prefers pot anyways. Which even that she doesn't smoke that much and usually just smokes that with Marshall. If she's hanging out with John she may bum one from him on occasion. She has no plans of stopping all the way.

Jesús- He's close to being a chainsmoker, but not quite. If he doesn't have a cigarette in his mouth, he has a toothpick. He really enjoys smoking. He has no plans on quitting any time soon.

Rosaylie- She smokes on occasion. Her father is a much heavier smoker than she is. She smokes more when she drinks. She has no plans on quitting because she doesn't smoke much anyways.

Gaia- she was created for Cowboy Times before I brought her to the modern world, so yes she smokes. Yes she's a chainsmoker. She wishes she was alive when a pack of cigarettes was just a quarter. She would rather die than give up smoking.

Bambi- She doesn't smoke a lot. Since she hangs out with Gaia she can have a puff whenever. She prefers pot though, which she smokes a ton of. She has no plans on quitting smoking pot any time soon.

Gin Rickey: What does your oc consider to be their best feature? Alternatively, what's something they're most self conscious about?

Genevieve- Genevieve thinks her eyes and lips are her best features. She thinks she's very pretty because of those. She's insecure about her huge nose. So she loves it when Connor mentions how much he loves her massive nose.

Ivy Nicole- She really likes her lips. She thinks they look nice and pretty. Overall though she's insecure of her cute chubby cheeks. She worries they make her seem too young.

Jesús- He loves his hair. He think it makes him look so cool, jet black and slicked back like that? He adores it! He's insecure about how tall and lanky he is. He worries that ladies won't find him attractive because of it.

Rosaylie- She's an odd one because she was raised somewhat with a God complex and thinks the absolute best of herself. She would say her eyes are her best features. If you ask her what she's insecure about, she'll just stare you down.

Gaia- She loves her hair. She thinks it's the best thing about her. It's curly, it's crazy, it's all over. She's insecure about the massive scar she has on her face.

Bambi- She loves her nose. She thinks it's super cute because it looks like a mushroom. She is insecure about her eyes.

Sloppy. Drippy. Gloppy. Gross. Sticky. Slimy. Squishy. Oozy. Gooey. People complain about having to stick their hands in this substance. But Bambi Isla Sueño doesn't mind. She loves it, in fact. She'd stick her arms in it any chance she has.

"Looks like you're busy," Pascal stated, walking into her office, and pushing his glasses up as he spoke. He crossed his arms, watching her.

"Uh-huh! You need me 'Cal?" Bambi asked, smile wide and sparkling.

"No. I'll have Lazlo help. You know, you're the only one that's fine with taking samples from that thing. How's it feel?" Pascal asked getting closer to the woman and the gunk.

"Awesome. Think I could get Lazlo to stick his arm in here?"

"I'm not sure.' he tapped his chin with his pointer finger. 'It's not like he's tried before. Can I ask you something Bambi?" Pascal got a little more quiet like he only wanted her to hear.

She pinched her eyebrows together and nodded, looking over at him, still elbows deep in the goop.

"Do you think Lazlo's going to get the job? He wants this so bad, Bambi. He's going to be torn up if he doesn't get it." Pascal rubbed his forehead with the back of his hand looking stressed.

"Pascal, Lazlo is so passionate about being a science teacher. You can just feel it the second he starts talking about it. If they pass him up, that's on them.

"The kids need teachers that actually care about them. Lazlo is 'lax, but he wants them to learn. He's got this thing in the bag." Bambi nodded her head enthusiastically.

A smile slipped onto Pascal's face.

"I'm sure you're right Bambi. Thanks for the chat. Be careful with that thing." He pointed at the gross pile of mess and walked out of the office as quietly as he had entered it.

-Genevieve: Autumn and Winter. They are the most romantic seasons to her. She loves being warm and cozy, the way the leaves look in fall. How crisp and nice a cold day feels. She reads and does stuff like puzzles. She enjoys tea and drinking coffee. Anything that can be done in a sweater or under a blanket.

-Ivy Nicole: Summer! She loves warm weather. She is from a desert after all... she loves the sun! She prefers to be by the pool or ocean. But honestly, anything is fun to her as long as the sun is out. She loves wearing as little clothes as possible, and the summer allows for this constantly sksksks.

-Bambi: Autumn and Spring! She can't wait to live somewhere that actually experiences the four seasons. She loves fall for the mushrooms and the way the trees look. She loves clouds and rain. But she also loves flowers and seeing them bloom. She'd be doing everything and anything! She loves taking her field guide out and getting to know what plants and bugs are around her!

🍂 [AUTUMN LEAVES] Does your OC view piles of dead leaves as a mess or as fun?

-Genevieve: She doesn't like them very much. She finds that they are unpleasant and can be slippery. When they pile up too much she gets anxious.

-Ivy Nicole: She HATES them. She thinks they're ugly and gross.

-Bambi: She would LOVE them!!!!! Raking them up into a pile. Seeing them! She knows what creatures are snacking on the leaves and who treats it as home.

🍀 [FOUR LEAF CLOVER] Would your OC spend hours looking for a four leaf clover?

-Genevieve: not hours, but if she’s outdoors and has a chance to look, she does. She's not crazy about it. When she has kids, she will look with them but still, nothing extreme.

-Ivy Nicole doesn't have the patience for that and she doesn't believe in luck.

-Bambi: ABSOLUTELY! She would love love love looking for a four leaf clover and once she found one, she'd press it so she can keep it forever❤️

Genevieve: Her voice is deeper than you would probably think it would be by looking at her. She tends to make it higher when talking to men though, out of pure shyness.

Ivy Nicole: You know in cartoons when a girl character is excitable and kinda tomboyish? And they get that screechiness to their voice but it's still kinda not raspy but very much not girly? Yeah that's her sksksks

Rosaylie: Nice sultry voice. Rich and seductive. Not ultra girly but also not "masculine" in anyway sksksk How could I forget? She still very much has a Minyathin accent when she speaks english!

Gaia: Husky. Deep! Genuinely deep. Booming even. She has a very strong voice. She can easily take lead.

Bambi: A little nasal-y sksksk. Definitely on the more strong side of things. Confident. But also *very* nerdy.
