The ballsd of what? I know Hunger Games movies but wtf? Is this prequel or sequel?

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the prequel to The Hunger Games Trilogy.

It focuses on 18 year old Coriolanus Snow as he becomes a mentor to Lucy Gray Baird in the 10th Hunger Games. It builds on the lore of the world, the series—while also being a fantastic character study, as well as a deep and intimate look at what people become in situations either of their making, or beyond their control. Either involuntarily…or voluntarily.

I highly recommend reading it, because it shows you how this 18 year old boy will eventually become the mass murdering presidential dictator of the original series. It’s a very dark, political, philosophical, and yes—romantic take on your traditional coming-of-age tale. Besides, reading it, and then going back to the original trilogy answers several formerly unanswered questions—some of which are absolutely mind blowing and shocking. Not to mention the entire third part of the book goes entirely off the fucking rails…

The uk government should be sanctioned itself based on the number of Russia investors and donations given to it in the last 2 years alone.

All this because you think that abramovich has ties with putin, yet there is little to no proof of that. Blocking the sale of the club now means that something in the region of £1 billion will not longer so to the victims of the 'war in ukraine'. Yes abramovich never publicly came out to condem putin, maybe he couldn't as he may have been shot (remember when he bought chelsea any money he had, some had to go to putin for 'his safety and their own'), but he called the conflict in Ukraine a war and openly admitted it as such more than what some Russian oligarchs have done.

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Either let him sell the club and demand the money goes to the charity (not the government as God knows where it'll end up) or allow the club to continue as normal and unfreeze its assits.

The players now have to go and play a game not knowing what their future holds now. So well done liz truss and the uk government you have ballsd up here big time. Affecting everyone's lives now, from the fans, the players and the staff. All for the sake of looking tough.
