This is what I made for the A/V Project at the Wix Lounge last week. Some new Rotoscope work, a new cartoon, and a bunch of old Cowwolf cartoons I colored. I had this on loop on a GIANT flatscreen TV for 3 hours. It was awesome.

Anyone know how to set it to loop on Vimeo? Also it’s silent because I made it for a party with live music, but if anyone has suggestions for music or feels like composing something, I’m open to it.

Comment convaincre des technophobes ?

Lorsque nous faisions des présentations de Balloon. Nous avons constaté deux types de comportements:

- Une curiosité liée à une certaine frénésie. Et très souvent on entend le futur client dire:

: "Et je peux faire ça aussi?"

: "Oui.."

:"Et ça aussi?"

: " Tout à fait!"

:"Ouaw, super!!! Et est-ce que je peux faire ça?"

: "Pas dans cette version mais nous y travaillons."

:"Ah dommage! Mais si je fais çà, puis çà alors j'obtiens ça..."

: Oui.

: Génial!!!! C'est très pratique. J'adore!!

Ca fait plaisir, non?

Mais ça ne se passe pas toujours ainsi. Nous rencontrons sur notre chemin, des gens dont l'expression sur leur visage dégage quelque chose du genre:

:" Pffff encore un outil-Facebook-o-machin-chose-PDFable et emmerdifiant que je vais devoir apprendre à utiliser alors que je n'ai pas que çà à faire!!!"

On reconnaît le technophobe, bras croisés, regard western spaghetti, et des gouttes perlant de son front dès que l'on prononce le mot "twitter" ou "liker".

De plus, Balloon est une start up, créee par trois joyeux bonshommes de 25 ans, presque nés avec un iphone dans la bouche. Alors là c'est trop...

Alors comment convaincre les technophobes?  Quelle attitude adopter? Comment expliquer à un technophobe que l'utilisation d'un outil est très simple, très friendly (oups attention anglicisme). 

En les comprenant tout simplement.

 Dans la majorité des cas, ce qui effraie le plus les technophobes c'est le vocabulaire que l'on utilise . On pourra leur présenter l'outil le plus intuitif et ergonomique du monde ça n'y changera rien. Et si jamais on parle de "features", de "liker" de "trending" et autres "cochoncetés" de ce genre comme si çà allait de soi, le dialogue est  définitivement rompu .

S'approprier le vocabulaire des technophobes est une étape essentielle à une bonne entrée en matière. Cela veut dire: " Je vous comprends parfaitement  et notre outil répond à vos besoins". Le reste suit tout seul.
