Thank you tsv discord for inspiring/enabling me. Anyways Giselle studies be upon ye
Some thoughts and references below the cut:
Okay Giselle isn’t really the most thematically relevant, I probably could’ve done much better. However! The two scenes I used were the Act II pas de deux between Giselle and Albrecht:

And what is typically referred to as the “mad scene” in act I:
youtube
In the Act II pas, Albrecht (a living man) is dancing with Giselle’s ghost (specifically she is a Wili, undead women who were wronged by men in their lifetimes). The Wilis wear all white, so I thought it was fitting, what with Faulkner in his white cassock. Also he’s dead.
In the “mad scene”, Giselle has just found out that Albrecht, who she loves, was already engaged, and she dances through all of the steps that she performed earlier in the ballet with Albrecht, though this time paying no heed to him. In the end of the scene, she dies, and it closes with her mother holding her body in her arms. That scene is a lot more acting, so the poses make more sense to carry over into an actual recreation of tsv finale events, while the pas is more symbolic than anything.
In the second sketch page, Faulkner is always in Giselle's place, but in the images on the left, Carpenter is in the mother's place, and in the images on the right, she is in Albrecht's place. Because I can do what I want.
