Also!
Someone was talking the other day about imagining some of the dwarves are lady-dwarves, but we don't know because all dwarves are beardy and don't talk about *that stuff*.
And so for the whole movie I was deciding which of the dwarves are actually lady-dwarves in my headcanon.
#spoiler alert:#Balin and Dwalin#those two#I think they would make fine lady-dwarves#I just really like the idea of ambiguously gendered dwarves like in Discworld
