the pic of bakugou as a newborn makes me think of you both going into the future and you revealed pics of your little baby boy being born on social media and public mags and he’s literally the spitting image of katsuki - down to the wrinkly old face and open mouth that’s already yelling.
“why does our baby look like that?“
“like what? looks fine to me,” shrugs bakugou, sifting through the magazine that showed pictures of you and bakugou - a decade older - holding your little chap.
“like all wrinkly and scrunkly… he looks 85!”
“no one told you to have a baby with me,” bakugou grumbles.
“well, i at least would’ve liked to have been present at the birth… katsuo looks nothing like me!” you say, stifling a laugh at his grumpy face - his grumpy face that then sports wide eyes as he grabs the magazine back from you and finds the name of your new baby.
“katsuo, huh…” and you watch him stare intently at the faces in the pictures: your tired eyes with a content smile and his bleary eyes looking down at the mop of blond unruly hair swaddled in a blanket - a blanket he recognises to be something that you currently own back in the present.
“they say ugly babies always grow up to be the cutest,” you hum, and you point at katsuo’s eyes. “can’t believe he took YOUR eye colour and not mine! was i even involved in the process at all?”
katsuki chuckles at that, all chuffed, “the bakugou genes are just that amazing.”
“i better pray that he ends up with my quirk and not yours… i don’t want him to start blowing people up if he gets your personality too!” you say offhandedly, walking away and leaving katsuki to show the magazine back in the stand as he chases after you.
“oi! don’t say that and run off! hey, y/n!”

I had this idea for an MHA AU a few years ago about Bakugou having an older brother named Katsuo.
Katsuo also means victory, like Katsuki, but also hero (and manly). However, despite having the same quirk as his younger brother, rather than wanting to become a pro hero, he's dedicated himself to a different line of work.
Katsuo decided he wanted to study medicine and become a doctor. So he IS a hero, just in a different sense.
He looks almost exactly like Katsuki, just a little bit taller since he's only two years older at most, and his hair spikes are slightly longer. But their personalities couldn't be further apart.
Katsuo is a softspoken, gentle young man. He rarely ever raises his voice and considers himself a pacifist. Or tries to be one (I think he could be pushed to clobber someone under certain circumstances). He's also easily flustered by compliments.
The two are frequently mistaken for one another from behind, but you'll always know if you're speaking to Katsuo before anything is said due to the softness of his expressions. That is, assuming you were aware Katsuki has a brother.
(If anyone wants to ask anything more about Katsuo, I don't mind.)

Hi hi, wonderful!!! How are you on this fine *insert appropriate time of day here*? Could I maybe request dad Bakugou and how he'd react to his son saying something mean to female reader wife? Like, I know Bakugou is really aggressive with his own mom, but I was thinking maybe it'd be a little different when it comes to the mother of his kids?

For a majority of your life, you thought becoming a pro hero would be the hardest thing you could ever do. From attending the illustrious U.A. High to working through the ranks to be in the top three pro heroes, second to none other than your husband, Bakugou, you never would imagine your life to be more difficult than that.
That is until you became a mother.
Only a year into your marriage, you found out you were pregnant with your son, Katsuo. It was difficult to come to terms with being a mother in the midst of your rising professional career but you knew taking care of your son was always going to be your number one priority, just as it was for Bakugou.
Despite the physical complexities of giving birth and being pregnant, the hardest part came afterwards: raising your extremely temperamental son.
Katsuo, ever since the day he was born, was never one to shy away from vocalizing if anything bothered him or made him upset. To screaming and crying on the top of his lungs as a baby to whining and throwing tantrums as a toddler in public, you felt yourself struggling to parent your son who made it his life’s mission to give you a hard time.
Who did Katsuo not give a hard time to? Bakugou.
Times where Katsuo would throw a tantrum, screaming and kicking his feet as he laid on the floor, all it would take was a “Stop that” from Bakugou to get Katsuo to cease his actions whereas it would take the whole day for him to listen to you. It was a frustrating ordeal but it never made you love your son any less. You knew this was a phase… at least you hoped this would just be a phase.
Just as you thought there was a lull in his behavior after he turned five, you became pregnant and gave birth to your daughter Suki. To say Katsuo was not thrilled was an understatement. He hated the attention that went to Suki instead of him. He hated that his parents had to take care of his baby sister that he didn’t want and he never hesitated to vocalize how much he didn’t want a sister.
“Can we get ice cream, too?” Katsuo asked excitedly, kicking his feet while sitting in the shopping cart that you were pushing. His little index finger pointed at the box of fudge popsicles.
“Will you share with your sister?” You asked, eyeing your son for his reaction.
As expected he was not pleased as he crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. “Fine. Whatever," he muttered curtly.
You smiled, grabbing the box from the freezer and putting it in your cart, knowing full well that his brief reaction would be the closest thing to a compromise that you'll get out of him.
As you were pushing the cart into the checkout line, your phone buzzed in your pocket. You answered your husband’s call, holding your phone in between your shoulder and your ear as you scanned the items in your car. “Everything okay, Katsuki?”
You could hear your now two-year-old daughter wailing in the background, repeating the word “Nana” as a very frustrated Bakugou expressed, “Please tell me you know where Suki’s fucking banana toy is.”
“Her toy should be on the sofa in the living room like it always is.” You adjusted your phone into your hand as you began to pay for your groceries.
“It’s not there and I’m about to lose my fucking mind.”
“Honey, I’m not sure where else it could be. Suki always keeps it there so she doesn’t lose it.”
As you grabbed the receipt from the little printer, you saw Katsuo giggling to himself from the corner of your eye as he was listening to your conversation. “Katsuo, what did you do?”
“Did that little shit fucking hide it?” Bakugou asked angrily through your phone.
“Katsuki, I’m almost done here. I’ll be home soon.” You sighed as Katsuo continued to laugh, his hands covering his mouth as if this were the funniest thing that could’ve happened for him.
“Katsuo, did you hide your sister’s toy?” You asked sternly, pushing the cart towards the exit. Katsuo simply shrugged, ignoring your question.
All you could was sigh as you loaded your car up and drove you and your son home.
Tumblr media
You stood in front of the door to your home and before you could knock, it swung open, revealing an exhausted Bakugou holding Suki who was still crying.
“Still no luck?” You asked as Katsuo ran inside, almost knocking you and the bags of groceries in your hands over.
“No,” Bakugou said with an exasperated sigh as he closed the door.
“Nana,” Suki cried softly.
You set the groceries on the dining table before rushing over and taking Suki from Bakugou. “I know, sweetie. We’re going to find Nana for you, okay?”
She rested her head on your shoulder, tiring herself from wailing earlier as she rubbed her eyes. You turned to Bakugou who looked like he needed a nap immediately.
You caressed his face. “My poor babies,” you cooed as you teased him.
He glared at you before taking Suki back in his arms. “You better get Suo to confess where that banana is.”
“Me? Where are you going?” You questioned, watching as Bakugou took Suki upstairs.
“Sleep,” He said plainly. “Exhausted.”
You sighed, going back to the dining table to put the groceries away. “Suo?”
Katsuo stuck his head from under the table, two of his toy cars in hand.
You sighed. “Katsuo, I’ve told you many times not to go under the table.”
He crawled out and stood to his feet. His vermillion eyes, identical to his father’s, watched as you went back and forth from the table to the refrigerator. “Why?”
“Because you could hit your head. And we have rules and you have to listen to them.”
“Does Suki have to listen to them?” He uttered his sister’s name with as much disgust as his seven-year-old body could muster.
“Suki is still a baby. She’s two, Suo, and she can barely speak.”
“Well I used to be your baby, too, before she came,” Katsuo grumbled under his breath, fidgeting with his toys.
You smiled at him, understanding the feeling of being jealous of your sibling getting all the attention. You crouched in front of him and ruffled his ash blonde hair. “You’ll always be my baby.”
Katsuo nudged your hand away, turning away from you. “Whatever. You don’t mean that.”
You stood to your feet. “Katsuo.”
Katsuo spun around quickly, dropping his toys to the ground as he raised an accusatory finger at you. “You always say I’m your baby but it’s not true! You care about that stupid baby more than me!”
He turned around again as he started to sprint and make his way upstairs. You went after him as you exclaimed, “That’s not true, Suo!”
Katsuo turned once more in the middle of the staircase, his brows furrowed and his lips overturned into a frown. “I said I didn’t want a sibling and you still had that stupid girl! You’re the worst Mom ever!”
He continued running upstairs and into his bedroom, slamming the door loudly behind him.
Tumblr media
Bakugou, who so desperately needed and wanted to take a nap, stood to his feet immediately following the sound of Katsuo’s door slam shut. Fortunately Suki hadn’t awoken, allowing him to leave and somehow patch this situation up.
Katsuo did this often, yelling at his mother and storming off into his room. However, he never insulted you in the way he did that day, and Bakugou knew you were going to take his words to heart.
Bakugou quietly made his way downstairs, peeking around the corner of the railing to spot where you were. You were sitting at the dining table, your back to him. He immediately noticed your shoulders shaking as you sniffled and wiped your eyes profusely.
“Y/N…” You spun your head at the sound of your husband’s unusually soft voice.
“Katsuki…” You wiped your eyes to get rid of any stray tears, not wanting to worry him. You attempted to muster a small smile, ultimately failing to do so. “What’re you doing awake?”
He sat down in the chair beside you. He stared at you, taking in your features as he raised his thumb and swiped under your eyes to catch your tears. “Don’t cry.”
Your lips quivered and the tears you were attempting to hold back spilled out. “I feel stupid for crying but-but his words hurt, Katsuki.”
Bakugou leaned towards you, his arms maneuvering you onto his lap. He held you close to him as you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your face into the crook of his neck. “You’re not stupid for crying. He said some fucked up shit, and he shouldn’t have.”
He pulled away, brushing your hair away from your face with his hands as he kissed you softly. “You’re not a bad mom, Y/N.”
You let out a humorless laugh, wiping your eyes again. “I know. I just… don’t know how to validate his feelings.”
“Don’t worry.” Bakugou moved you back onto the chair as he stood to his feet. “I’ll talk to him.”
“Katsuki.” You reached for his hand, looking up at him. “Just don’t yell at him, alright?”
“I know. I was seven once, too, y’know?” And like that Bakugou made his way back upstairs, his footsteps echoing through the hall. He made it to Katsuo’s door and knocked.
“Go away!” Katsuo yelled from the other side.
“I don’t care what you want, I’m coming in,” Bakugou stated and opened the door.
He was met with a soft pillow to the face as an enraged Katsuo yelled, “I said go away!”
“Katsuo!” Bakugou exclaimed. Katsuo immediately stiffened, his expression twisting into fear from his father’s tone. Bakugou closed his eyes and sighed, calming himself down before speaking to his son. He didn’t want to go about this the wrong way.
Bakugou picked up the pillow as he sat on Katsuo’s bed beside him, placing the discarded item back onto the bed. “Why did you yell at Mom?”
Katsuo crossed his arms over his chest. “‘Cause she wasn’t being fair.”
“So she deserves to get called a ‘bad mom’ because of that?”
“No…” Katsuo mumbled after pausing for a moment.
Bakugou sighed, lifting Katsuo and repositioning him on the bed so that he was facing him. Katsuo kept his eyes glued down, not wanting to make eye contact with his incredibly intimidating father. “Suo, look at me.”
Katsuo hesitated but nevertheless he looked at his father. “Why did you call Mom a ‘bad mom?’”
Katsuo fidgeted with his thumbs before upsettingly blurting out, “Because she’s always caring about Suki more than she cares about me!”
“And did Mom say she doesn’t care about you?”
“No…”
“Katsuo,” Bakugou paused to make sure his son was looking at him. “Do you know how much your mother loves you?”
Katsuo simply shrugged. Bakugou shook his head slightly, reaching behind in his back pocket to grab his phone. He opened his photo album, one with just you that contained hundreds of photos in fact. He showed a picture where you were very pregnant with Katsuo, your hands cradling your swollen belly as you grinned at Bakugou’s camera.
“Here’s Mom carrying you in her belly before you were born.”
Katsuo’s eyes widened at the sight of your stomach, looking up at his father. “I was in there?!”
Bakugou nodded, this time swiping to a video of you holding a newborn Katsuo, tears streaming down your face as you looked down at your son. Your sobs were audible, looking over at Bakugou who was recording you. “Katsuki!”
Bakugou’s laughter was heard on the other side of the video and Katsuo watched as you looked back at his baby self in the video. “My baby,” you murmured, kissing his cheek and pressing your forehead against his little one.
“I was her baby,” Katsuo whispered astonishingly. “I thought Mom was lying when she said that.”
“Katsuo, you’ll always be our first baby. You’re our first born. But now Suki needs Mom’s attention, too. Did you see how little you were in that video?” Katsuo nodded. “Well, Suki needs Mom’s help to grow big and strong like you. But she’s lucky cause she has a big brother to help her, right?”
“I guess,” Katsuo huffed. “I’ll start being nice to her…”
“Good,” Bakugou patted him on the back. “Now go apologize to Mom. You didn’t mean what you said, right?”
Katsuo shook his head aggressively. He jumped off his bed and stood to his feet. “I’ll go say sorry.”
Before leaving, he crawled under his bed to retrieve something. When he crawled back out, in his hands was Suki’s missing banana toy that Bakugou had been tearing the whole house apart to find. Katsuo handed the toy to his father, threw open the door, and rushed downstairs until he stood in front of the dining table. His chest rose and fell quietly as he caught his breath from moving so fast. You turned around, not expecting his presence so suddenly. “Suo!”
Katsuo frowned at the sight of your slightly puffy eyes, understanding that you had been crying. And it was his fault that you were crying. He looked down at his feet. “I’m sorry, Mom. I shouldn’t have called you a ‘bad mom.’”
You smiled softly, looking at your son lovingly. “It’s okay.”
He shook his head. “It’s not okay. I shouldn’t say things I don’t mean. I just… I was jealous of how you’re always with Suki. But I know that she has to be big and strong like me.”
Your smile widened as you reached out and caressed his cheek. “It’s okay, baby. I forgive you.”
Katsuo perked up. “So am I really still your baby? Even if I’m not little like Suki?”
“Of course.” You pulled him into your embrace, his little arms attempting to wrap around you as he hugged you back. “I already said you’ll always be my baby and I mean it.”
You pulled away, kissing his cheek which caused Katsuo to break out into an even wider smile as he threw his arms around you into another embrace.
You laughed, hugging him once more, holding him onto your lap. You looked up, noticing a smiling Bakugou holding an asleep Suki in his arms. He sent a wink your way as you smiled gratefully at him.

Lost Love. | K. Bakugou
Tumblr media
Pro-Hero Bakugou x Baker Reader
this has been on my mind for so long that i just needed to write about it.
WORD COUNT: 1.4k
WARNING: none, fluff.
Tumblr media
Dilf pro-hero Bakugo, out patrolling, gets a call from his two bros, Kirishima and Sero. Saying that they might have lost his son while taking him to the amusement park. Furious, Bakugo screams and curses at the two for losing his kid and being such idiots.
He even threatens them that they better be fucking searching and be lucky to find Katsuo before him because if he sees him first, he won’t go easy on them when he meets them.
Meanwhile, Bakugo’s son is crying outside the gift shop for losing his two uncles. The little boy didn’t mean to get lost. He just wanted to get a Dynamite mask like his papa because he saw a little girl wearing one.
“Hey, sweetie, are you lost?” the tiny little boy hears a gentle voice, having him look up as he wipes his tears. He slowly nods to the pretty woman as he sheds more tears. “Hey, it’s okay, honey.”
“My name is Y/N,” you smile at the little boy. “What’s yours?”
“I’m K-Katsuo… Katsuo Bakugo.”
You crouch down to see Katsuo better, getting a tissue out of your bag as you wipe his running nose. “That’s such a lovely name, sweetie.”
Katsuo steps closer to you, “I-I lost my uncles…” he says, eyes getting teary again.
“Do you remember what your uncles were wearing? Or the last time you saw them?”
You watch how Katsuo takes his time to think about it, only to shake his head. “I ran because I saw a girl wearing a Dynamight mask, and I wanted one .. just like my papa.”
“Is your papa pro-hero Dynamight, Katsuo?” you ask, getting a nod. “That’s so cool, Katsuo.”
Katsuo finally smiles, tears gone. “I know, right! Papa is the strongest hero and the best! I love him so much,” he happily says.
You smile as you agree with the child. “I’m sure he is Katsuo.”
“But papa might be mad that I got lost..” Katsuo whispers.
You brush Katsuo’s bangs, “He won’t. You know why?”
“Why?” Katsuo asks. “Because he loves you so much,“ you say, having Katsuo giggle.
“Now, why don’t we go and find a security that could help us find your uncles, huh?” you smile, extending your hand for him to take, which Katsuo happily accepts.
Bakugo is starting to get anxious as he has been searching for his son for the past 10 minutes. The number of people in the amusement park makes it hard for the pro-hero to find his son. Until he gets a call from the security office of the amusement park that his son is safe and is here waiting at the station.
Bakugo arrives at the station, asking the security guard where his son is. Only for the pro-hero to growl as the security guard takes too long to speak, having him go search for the brat himself. As he enters further through the station, Bakugo is met with the sight of his son laughing while a gorgeous woman sits with him, playing with him.
what the-
Bakugo flinches when the woman spots him. “Katsuo, I believe your papa is here,” he hears her say. Having his son turn in that direction, she points to Katsuo, smiling huge, spotting him. Katsuo stands up and runs towards him.
“Papa!” Katsuo cries as Bakugo opens his arms and catches the little rascal. “I’m sorry I got lost….”
Bakugo chuckles, hugging his son. “I just wanted a mask like yours,” Katsuo whispers. “Mask?” Bakugo asks.
Katsuo nods, “umm… he saw a little girl wearing one,” Bakugo hears a soft voice speak, leading the pro-hero to turn towards the direction of the voice.
“So he ran off to where they were selling them and didn’t realize that he ran too far from his uncles.”
Katsuo nods his head, “Yeah and Y/N helped me, papa! She’s a very nice person.”
You laugh, getting the attention of the pro-hero. “Sorry for not introducing myself, but I’m Y/N, and I’m the one that brought your son here,” you smile, bowing to the hero.
Bakugo suddenly feels weird in his stomach from the smile you gave him. The two of you continue to look at each other, not breaking eye contact. The moment gets interrupted as Kirishima and Sero burst through the doors, running towards the hero, both crying in relief that Katsuo is okay.
Kirishima and Sero get on their knees once spotting their blonde friend.
It does not take long for Bakugo to scream and scold his friends, taking you by surprise by the way his two friends are on their knees, begging for forgiveness. You find the scene quite funny, but it makes you think you should leave. “Excuse me? Dynamight?” you ask, having Bakugo and his friends turn to look at you.
“Is it okay if I can talk to Katsuo for a minute before I leave?” you ask, taking the hero by surprise. “Sure.”
Bakugo puts down Katsuo, who happily walks up to you. You crouch down to be the same height as Katsuo, who hugs you. “Y/N, you’re leaving?” Katsuo asks with a tone of sadness.
You smile as you hug the little boy in return. “I am Katsuo. Your papa and uncles are already here for you, honey. But I didn’t want to leave without giving you the gift I have for you,” you say, making the little boy curious.
“A gift? What is it?” Katsuo excitedly asks. “You need to close your eyes first and no peeping.”
Katsuo eagerly closes his eyes, making you giggle from the cuteness. Bakugo watches the whole interaction, making the hero curious as well. He sees how you take something out of your bag but can’t tell what it is. “Okay, open your eyes,” you smile.
Katsuo slowly opens his eyes and gasps, “A Dynamight mask, like papa!”
“I told one of the security guards if they could do me a favor and buy it for me, which they nicely did,” you explain. “Now you can match with your papa, Katsuo,” you smile, looking over at Bakugo, who suddenly gets flustered.
Katsuo giggles from happiness, hugging you tightly as he thanks you.
“Your welcome, sweetie. I have to go, Katsuo,” you say, trying to let go, but Katsuo only hugs you tighter. “N-No.. don’t leave.”
“I have to, honey,” you softly say, only for Katsuo to shake his head.
Bakugo notices his son is not letting you go, leading him to walk up to the two of you and hit Katsuo’s head. “She needs to go, brat, so let go,” Bakugo says, pulling him off you.
“NO! I DON’T WANT Y/N TO GO,” Katsuo loudly cries as fat tears streaming down his face, taking both of you by surprise.
Katsuo continues to sob as Bakugo tries to calm him down a bit. It’s the first time Bakugo has ever seen Katsuo like that, especially crying for someone he just met. Bakugo sees you move closer to the two of them. “Katsuo,” you whisper, wiping his tears. “Will meet again, I promise.”
Katsuo sniffles, looking at you with teary eyes, “Promise?” he asks. You nod your head, “I pinky promise,” you say, lifting your pinky. Katsuo softly smiles as he interlocks his tiny pinky with yours before he lets go and hides his face on Bakugo’s chest.
“I’m sorry about all of this,” Bakugo says as he hugs Katsuo and carries him. “The brat isn’t usually like this.”
“It’s okay, don’t worry about it,” you smile at the pro-hero. “You don’t need to keep that promise….” Bakugo whispers low for his son not to hear.
You shake your head, “A promise is a promise,” you say, getting a nod from Bakugo.
“I own a bakery that’s close to your agency, actually. On the weekends, we have classes for kids, so if you’re ever free, please stop by with Katsuo. Here’s my card!” you happily say, handing it to the hero who takes it.
“Well, it was very nice meeting you, Dynamight! Bye, Katsuo will see each other soon, sweetie!” you say, getting a small wave from the little boy who’s hiding his face on Bakugo’s neck. You bowed goodbye to the pro-hero, his friends, and the security guard.
Bakugo keeps looking at you until he can longer see your figure. He then looks at the card you gave him. Milk and Cookies Bakery, softly smiling at himself without realizing. He then hears Kirishima and Sero snicker, leading Bakugo to glare at them as he walks up to them, giving them the beating they deserve for losing Katsuo.

deep ocean, mountain peek.
synopsis; bakugou doesn't love you anymore, and your sons can't sleep.
pairing(s); bakugou x fem!reader
theme warming(s); angst
bakuwhcre's note! this is unedited and a little sloppy. i just had the idea and wanted to get it out! enjoy, please!
Tumblr media
when it came to bakugou's love, it was deep like an ocean and suffocating like reaching the peak of a cold mountain. he loved hard. he loved you all at once. and you knew he did - once upon a time. you didn't feel like you were standing at the top of everest. you didn't feel like you were surrounded by water at the bottom of an ocean. not anymore.
he was always working. always out. always late.
"momma," mizuki, your son, dragged his stuffed animal behind him as he peeked behind the staircase railing. his twin, katuso, was beside him with an angry expression on but tiredness showing in his eyes. "i can't sleep."
you had your laptop on your lap, and a single lamp on to keep you awake with an empty wine glass on the coffee table and soft music playing. you gazed at the boys with gentle eyes. they looked just like their father. it made your heart ache. especially katsuo. he was his father.
"c'mere, my little loves."
you opened your arms for them after moving your laptop to the table. they ran over. both attempted to sit in your lap, mizuki somehow winning the spot while katsuo scowled. he didn't even want to be there - mizuki woke him up with stupid worries of you and katsuki getting a divorce; whatever that was.
"are you and the old man getting a de- a duh- divorce. . ?" katsuo took a little glance at his brother, who nodded his head before looking at you.
"wha. ." you looked between the two, baffled. had bakugou mentioned that to them? why would they. . ? you became furious. not at the boys. never them. they were sponges, taking in all and everything they could. you didn't want to lie, yet they couldn't know that you'd been thinking about it. they were six years old.
"you told them we're getting a divorce?" a familiar voice sent chills down your spine. bakugou stood at the front door with a new wound on his cheek, brows deepening into a scowl.
"of course not! did you?"
"so. . you guys don't like each other anymore?" mizuki's voice raised and wavered as if he was going to cry, tears glossing over his eyes. his lip poked out, and katsuo didn't dare look at either of you, flarimg at the ground.
"we like each other." bakugou said firmly.
you like each other. enough. enough to raise your children. enough to keep the marriage going. enough to sleep in the same bed, but not enough to cuddle. not enough to share longing gazes. not enough to check in on each other.
just. . . enough.
bakugou comforted mizuki and got katsuo to stop looking at the ground like it gave him a problem. while you sat on the couch chewing on your nails. he came downstairs in a new pair of clothing and more cleaned after getting the boys down. "some kid in mizuki's class said their parents got divorced and then cursed mizuki." you didn't look up at your husband, honestly believing you were cursed by someone's rotten child. "we should talk about a divorce, though."
you looked up. he stared at the ground. there was silence. it was heavy on both of your shoulders. you wanted to yell at him for wasting years of your life. for promising you eternal happiness. for giving you two beautiful boys that you'd die without.
but all you could do was sob.
you wanted to turn that sorrow into anger but just wailed into your hands, holding your head down. "you're leaving me? after all these years? what about zuki? what about katsu?" you wiped your tears as bakugou shrugged, not meeting your eyes.
"we'll figure it out. i just. . . i'm tired of this. of you." he finally met your eyes, voice lowering. "i don't love you anymore, [name]."
the world seemed to stop spinning.
the water that was once air became poison in your lungs. the cold mountain top truly suffocated you. you couldn't breathe. you couldn't breathe in the worst way possible.
bakugou sighed and repeated himself, "i don't love you anymore."

OK SOOOOOO!!~~
I decided to start a comic series with Slice of Life theme about the AU I share with my hubby @sonreiv wich affectionatelly call “PROT4″ of Deku, Kacchan and their prototypes as they coexist in the same universe and developed different relationships between them. They are already adults with their respective hero jobs and I’m excited about doodle their interactions and their little story because I love them so much
For all my fellow DekuYami shipper, enjoy the ride because they are canon husbands in this

This comic includes:🎈oc x canon🎏intersexuality🎀trans male🧸pregnancy even. 🎐Explanation🎐this is a story about Katsuki Bakugou getting married and having his own family life. He borned with a woman body but inside he felt like a guy because he wanted to become the number 1 like his idol Allmight. So he acted like a boy. The reason he bullied Deku is (in my AU , btw i am not owning MHA dont get me wrong) Deku knew it before even Bakugou tell him. He didnt want him to tell a soul.So he kept bulliying him… (Sooo this is the part2! I hope you like it guys! I guess i am going to continue this comic!-FETCH1987)

OH I RLLY LIKE THIS AU
Since Katsuo and Katsuki are twins, that means there's someone to help keep Bakugou personality in check!(even if it's only enough to stop him from hurting ppl) This means that the relationships between the four of them would be a lot healthier too!
NOT TO MENTION NUCLEAR FAMILY SHINANIGANS
~Aqua
Have you ever heard of the Prototype Family AU? If you haven't, it's an AU where Proto!Midoriya (Mikumo Akatani aka Yamikumo) is Midoriya's cousin and Proto!Katsuki (I think his name is Katsuo in this AU?) is Bakugou's twin.
OH THATS CUTE

A/n : sooooooo um it's my first to post and i was look over here and i'm obsessed with 'bakugou meet his future kids with reader' so i got an idea pleas feel free to request
_____________________
It's should be another boring day if you wonder just go to school, study and all BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING like-
"what the hell did you do dumbass? And why i involved in this you idiot" he say while we walk to the principal nezu's office
hell, like i would know "watch you mouth you blasty boy i've been a good girl here the question is what did YOU do?!"
"don't worry young L/n and young bakugo why? Because i'm here" All might say walking behind you and bakugou
After we on principal nezu's office there is 3 boy or triplet idek around our age 16? Or 17?. I'm surprised eyo is that bakugou secret sibling's or? "Hey blasty boy you never told me you have triplet brother" i whisper to bakugou "what the hell i'm the one and only child you idiot"
the triplet rush over to you and surround her with a big hug "finally we meet you after a week mommy!". They say while you freeze in shock. Of course what the heck! i'm never doing anything inappropriate with anyone i barely have a boyfriend duh.
Principal nezu laugh and tell you and bakugou that the triplet is your child from the future . "OUR WHAT?!",
"Uhh uh katsuki can you please help me with them" y/n struggle because the lack of air to breath. "YOU EXTRAS BETTER LET HER GO YOU SCUM OR I BLAST YOUR ASS" bakugou say so they let go of you but actually jealous, even she is not his but boy have a secret crush on you.
"bakugou and y/n pleas take care of your child while they are here" principal nezu say "it's not like i have a choice right? they glued to me i think i'm gonna pass out the air-"
That's it bakugou blast the triplet in their ass while you gap for air. After we calm down you ask principal nezu "so principal are they stuck in here? Or the quirk who sent them will vanish anytime?", "No L/n they bring their self here it's their quirk they develop you're quirk, and your son may i say can stay here as long they didn't cause trouble now you may leave to your class with the triplet of course".
we all head to the class and no, you are not ready what will come next, after the door open their eyes so big looking at you and bakugou and don't forget the triplet that always have their hand on you.
"y/n and bakugou can you explain what it is?" Aizawa sensei ask "um sensei maybe we can discuss it later in the dorm" you said to the teacher and aizawa sigh "well now let start our class again"
----------------------------
Now we all class 1A gather here, in the dorm together. All of them was curious who is this triplet and todoroki was to stunned to speak, well all of them actually.
"so y/n and bakugou mind to tell us?" but befor me and bakugou answer aizawa sensei, the triplet introduce them self (idk any name here so i just gonna use something that already have) "i'm the eldest katsuo, he is katsuma the middle and he is katsumi the youngest and we all bakugou's but we all our momma boys" katsuo say while the triplet snuggle to me "and how did you get here?" Aizawa sensei ask "it's because my quirk duh you old man in the future the kids have quirk that their parent have but only one to develop".
"so brat what did you got?" katsuki asking with the smug grin on his face, the father can't handle his proudness on his boys. "ew that look again you old man" the youngest say with sass in his voice can't blame, he is my child after all "what did you say you brat-!", "bakugou we need information" poor bakugou beeing cut by his teacher.
"well like me and katsuo we have dad explosion but we develop our mommy quirk mom can teleport over places, while i can jump in space and time and just make something doesn't exist in our current time, it's same with katsuo but he can't just erased something or someone instead he can make someone change" katsuma say, now i know he got my personality to explain better than his dad.
"That's so manly" kirisima said with that sparkling in his eyes "well wanna know more manly uncle eiji? you and auntie mina is married and not just that uncle denki end auntie jirou is merried too even uncle izuku and auntie ochako and-"before katsumi spill the tea further more, you place your hand on your son while katsuki laugh his ass 'cause his classmate were in blush.
"alright kid i'm glad to know that is save and sound now i'm gonna take my leave don't do something stupid" Aizawa sensei leave 1A's dorm. "So katsumi what is your quirk?", "Yeah brat what it's your, can't believe none of you didn't develop my quirk hell cause i am the strongest".
"bleh old man! you didn't change do you? always like that over your pride" katsuo say while the other laugh cause no one, no fucking one dare to asking bakugou with so much sass but then here it is, his only child can put up with him.
"mind telling your me katsumi?" You said while patting your son's head softly. "well mom i got you teleport quirk but i got develop daddy quirk-" "HELL YEAH so what it is brat?". "i can melt whatever i want even a mountain" all of us is dead silent.
"no wonder your temperature is so warm katsumi", "aww mom you didn't change you always say you like it when i hug you or snuggle to you mom" and again oh poor boys got blast from his dad "the fuck your problem old man? can't you just chill we want our mommy here" but before katsuki say anything mineta was out of hand today "y/n, you look like you know? with that boys all over your body, damn how lucky i want to hug you too" and that's it, Today we lost one of our class member, caused by the Bakugou's, trigger because the poor little boy say something inappropriate to their beloved one.
Mineta in cage of four man towering over him, with that dead glare on their face. The other just prepare for the funeral cause they already have a problem to hold one pissed bakugou's to stop from murdering the grape boy and now four bakugou's? Hell nah...
"mom is that your friend?" Katsuo ask.
"i don't remember this thing in our current time brother" now katsuma say while cracking his finger to relax.
"oh i really want to melt his fucking brain mommy" and now the youngest katsumi.
"hell yeah, boys in to the formation we got a prey to play here..." bakugou say with his explosion already in his hand.
Let's say mineta was save, poor boy got treatened with the bakugou's and after a week the boys execuse them self to their current time and here you are with katsuki, you don't know what to do you guys not even a couple but katsuki so clingy after the triplet go and so all over you.
"hey dumbass i'm just gonna say it once you better hear it or it's over" katsuki say with his face on your neck "would you be my partner for life you doofas?"
It's took all of you to collect what is going on. the redness all over your face, you are not a couple but girl didn't blind you know well damn much that katsuki is hella fine and it's not just because of that. not to mention you has over this boy for long.
"well like you'll let me say no?, so yeah blasty boy you stuck with me now". "good like hell i'm gonna let you with anyone else", he snuggle more into you. Now you know why the triplet so clingy to you just like their dad.

Daddy’s Small Hero
Note: I’m back with another dad Bakugou fic bitches 😎 this time it’s Baku with an absolute chonk of a baby. Again, this entire thing was inspired by @hanji-is-life and the people who sent the amazing asks there. I can’t stop, they’re so good 😩 also idk how fast a baby’s development is. My little sister was a baby but that’s was 11 years ago- Criticism is welcome as always.
Warnings: cursing cuz bakugou, but just fluff overall. Not prof read
‘Had to go to the hospital quickly for an appointment! Katsumi and Sakura are at school already. Take Katsuo with you to the agency please!
-Y/N <3’
Bakugou sighed as he put down the note and headed to the living room where his son was. He woke up and was surprised to see you weren’t there in bed with him, and was only even more surprised he saw his son was awake in his playpen doing his thing. After finding the note tacked on the fridge however, he understood the situation.
Bakugou looked into the playpen and smiled. His son Katsuo. He looked exactly like his dad, ash blonde hair, red eyes, and an absolute monster of a baby. It’s not that he cried a lot, in fact he hardly cried at all. He was just extremely chunky. He was in 6 month clothes at 3 months old. He was a chunky baby, a chubby tummy and rolls on his arms and legs. Hell, he even had rolls for knees! He was currently in toddler clothes at 10 months old and was trying to shove his fat fist in his mouth. He took notice of his dad and started making grabby hands up at him.
Bakugou chuckled. “Hey squirt, ready to start the day?” His son gurgled.
Bakugou lifted his son up with a soft grunt. “Jesus, did you grow overnight? You get heavier every day.” His baby slapped a drool covered hand on bakugou’s cheek. “..I deserved that.”
After strapping on the baby carrier and putting Katsuo in front of chest, he began making breakfast. Starting with Katsuo’s. Sure, it was time consuming making breakfast for his infant son, but he refused to let him eat that processed shit from the store. Bakugou placed a strawberry and a banana on the counter. He wasn’t sure why he did this, but he let his son choose what fruit he wanted in his breakfast. He read somewhere it was good for development. “K, choose one brat,” he said softly. Katsuo stared before grabbing at the strawberry. “Good choice,” Bakugou responded before dropping a few strawberries in the blender and starting his breakfast. The entire time, he stirred up conversation with Katsuo.
“So what did you dream about last night?”
“Da!”
“You fought Endeavour himself and won?”
“Ba-da-ba!”
“No shit, what did you do after?”
“Baaab.”
“Nice. I’ll make note of that the next time I train then.”
After a quick breakfast and a diaper change, Katsuki made his way to the agency, baby bag in hand. It should be ok to take Katsuo today. All he had was paperwork and an interview. Katsuki didn’t want just ANYONE working for him. He needed to make sure those who were hired were reliable people. Bakugou stopped in front of the building and addressed his son in the harness, “this is where daddy works. He runs his own agency. Isn’t that cool?” Katsuo blew a little raspberry.
Almost all eyes were on Bakugou as he entered the building. They went from neutral to confused seeing a drooly baby harnessed on the pro hero’s chest, and even more confused seeing a baby bag in hand.
Ignoring all the prying eyes, Bakugou approached Kirishima, who also was gawking at the baby in the harness.
“What? It’s not a fucking alien, get a hold of yourself.” Kirishima’s eyes snapped back up and looked at Bakugou. He put a hand behind his head sheepishly. “Sorry, I’m just not used to seeing you with your son that often.”
“Hah!? Are you calling me a terrible dad?” Bakugou questioned as his eyebrows furrowed more.
“No! Just drop it, look the candidate for receptionist is already with the interviewer. Just make it quick, ok? And don’t send them running away in tears!” Kirishima called out as Bakugou grunted and walked towards his office. Bakugou stopped in front of his office door and addressed his son once again,
“This is daddy’s office. You excited to step inside?”
“Aa!”
“Well, today I am too.” Bakugou opened the door and saw some interviewer extra behind his desk and a female sitting across from it.
“Ah, you’re here Mr. Bakugou! Please, take a seat!” The interviewer chirped. Bakugou sat down in a chair on the side of the desk and unclasped the harness. He set Katsuo on a sitting position on the desk and dumped some toys there for his son. Katsuo took a chunky plastic block and immediately began to chew on it.
The female blinked. “Umm… is the baby staying here the entire time?”
Bakugou growled lowly. “He has a fucking name. It’s Katsuo. And yes, he is. That a fucking problem?”
“N-no, im sorry sir,” she replied as Katsuo cooed.
“Let’s get this started. What’s your name?” Bakugou said, calming down.
The female cleared her throat. “Akane, sir.”
The interview went along fairly smoothly, Akane answered the questions well and seemed reliable enough to work here, Bakugou noted as he played a bit with Katsuo. Still, Bakugou needed more convincing. He didn’t need another receptionist crying into his coffee cup in the mornings. The more the interview progressed, the more impatient Bakugou became.
“Can we hurry this shit up? It’s almost tummy time for Katsuo!” Bakugou barked. Both Akane and the interviewer jumped at the sudden outburst.
“Sorry Dynamight sir, just one more question and we’ll be done here.”
Bakugou huffed and put Katsuo on his lap, who was trying to shove the block in Bakugou’s face. He chuckled. “Stop that shit, that’s fucking gross, wasn’t it in your mouth?” Katsuo gurgled in response, still shoving the drool covered block in his dad’s face. Akane was distracted at this display. Dynamight, the number 2 pro hero, softening for someone? She didn’t think it was possible. Bakugou looked back up, scowling as he realized no one was talking. “The fuck are you looking at?” He growled at Akane.
Akane yelped and cleared her throat. “N-nothing! Just- just looking around” she said hurriedly as she straightened herself.
Bakugou squinted his eyes and looked down at his son. “What do you think of her, Katsuo?”
Katsuo was currently transfixed on shoving two chubby fingers in his own mouth. Once he finally did babble again, he slapped his thighs while bouncing up and down, making “da” sounds over and over. Akane thought the display was cute before Bakugou spoke up again.
“My son says you’re a terrible liar and that you’re on thin fucking ice.”
Akane shivered a bit. She was going to be here a while longer, wasn’t she?
A few more exchanges like that back and forth (Katsuo cooing and bakugou interpreting as a a threat), the interview finally ended.
Akane slumped on the wall outside the door and slowly sat herself down. God, that went terribly! She kept getting distracted by the baby! There was no way she was getting this job! She blew it-
Her thoughts were interrupted by a high pitched laugh. Akane registered it was coming from the office. Silently, she got up and peered through the door, which was slightly ajar.
Bakugou was blowing raspberries on his baby’s stomach while Katsuo laughed hysterically. Akane stood there dumbfounded. She never thought Bakugou was the fatherly type. Bakugou kept doing this and laughed along with the baby until he put them down in a sitting position. “Alright brat, it’s tummy time,” he grumbled as he spread a blanket on the desk and laid his son down on the blanket, back facing the ceiling. His son thrashed his limbs around a bit before calming down. Bakugou chuckled and pulled a couple toys out of his bag and settled them around Katsuo. His son tried moving around to grab the toys, cooing all the while.
Akane left before she was noticed. She was confused by this secret side of Bakugou.
Despite her doubtful thoughts earlier, Akane managed to land the job as the receptionist at Bakugou’s agency. She liked talking to the people she met everyday, and even met his wife a couple times.
Akane was typing away and noticed someone approaching from the corner of her eye.
“Hello, Mrs. Bakugou! How are you?”
You looked at Akane and smiled, carrying your son. “I’m just fine, thank you! I’m just wondering where Katsuki is!”
“Right here,” a gruff voice responded. Both females turned around and saw the hero approaching both of them.
You gave your husband a kiss and handed him Katsuo and a box wrapped in cloth.
“You forgot your lunch again, I’m starting to believe you’re doing it on purpose” you scolded.
Bakugou laughed and pecked your cheek. “I might start doing it intentionally if I get to see my beautiful wife and son more often at work.”
Akane observed this exchange before Katsuo turned his head towards her, looking at her with wide red eyes and made grabby hands that Bakugou paid no kind to. Akane, however, shivered and turned back towards the computer, typing more feverishly. Those red eyes that looked exactly like his father’s creeped her out ever since that interview. Sure, Katsuo was adorable, but what came out of his mouth was scary.

kiribaku + family
kirishima proposed when they were 24. they got married when they were 25. it was a small private affair with only family and close friends (i.e all of class 1a, their teachers, and mentors).
they brought an apartment together after they married. they didn’t want to move into either bakugou’s or kirishima’s but have a new fresh space meant for the both of them.
they unconsciously brought an apartment with an extra spare room. for a while it remained as a guest room.
until when they were 30 one morning over breakfast kirishima brought up the possibility of having kids. they realized they both wanted to become parents.
for months they discussed it. about whether they would get a surrogate or adopt. how many they wanted. if they were to adopt what age.
they spent months also discussing their fears. they were scared they wouldn’t be enough. that they wouldn’t be good parents. they were scared of the possibility of villains going after their child.
they didn’t tell any of their friends or family. they wanted a child until they had a concrete answer before telling them.
while doing research bakugou found a woman who aids in parents seeking a surrogate. her quirk allowed her to take dna from both parents to create the child. the child would be 100% their parents without any of her dna.
bakugou showed it to kirishima and they decided that night to contact her.
after three months they hosted a dinner party where they surprised everyone with ultrasound pictures of their child. kaminari passed out.
they changed their schedules to only work until 5. they stopped working weekends. they began working more at their offices then going out on patrols.
during a shift they got a call that their surrogate had gone prematurely into labor. kirishima stopped fighting a villain and ran off to the hospital. the villain stood there in shock for a few minutes allowing another hero to swoop in.
bakugou and kirishima was with her the entire labor. after hours the doctors presented them with their son.
they named him katsuo. spelt with the kanji’ ‘katsu’ coming from katsuki but also for victory and the kanji ‘o’ meaning hero and manly.
katsuo got kirishima’s black hair and bakugou’s shade of red eyes. later on he got kirishima’s shark teeth. and doctors believed he would get a quirk related to bakugou’s. he was a perfect mixture of the two.
bakugou asked midoriya to be his godfather. kirishima asked mina to be his godmother.
kirishima took naps on the couch with katsuo sleeping on his chest. it became bakugou’s phone background.
bakugou would play music softly and hold him in his arms. swaying and dancing through the apartment. singing to him softly. kirishima has so many videos of this.
class 1a took turns babysitting katsuo so kiri and baku could go on dates and have time for themselves. bakugou was slightly bitter that katsuo took such a liking to todoroki.
bakugou has a picture of the three of them in his wallet. kiri has one tucked in his phone case.
they didn’t tell the public about their child. there were rumors and theories about why they cut back on work. they never confirmed nor denied anything. they were hoping to wait until katsuo was older before the public found out.
bakugou became dad. kirishima became papa.

Pairing: Bakugou x reader
Romance, Angst, Drama

A/N: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YAY IM BACK!
Thank you for being so so so so patient with me. I know you guys have been waiting for so long and must have been dying to know what happens next! Well here you go!
For those who don't know, I did go on a short hiatus due to having two jobs and not having enough free time to basically do anything. But I asked for my hours to be cut and man, have they been CUT! but that gives me alot more freedom to write and even relax! I actually took myself on a date the other day and it was GREAT!
I don't know how the reaction is going to be: if everyone drops this series or if I'll be greeted back with lots of love, but the long awaited chapter is now back and we only have one more chapter left to go! Happy reading my loves and it feels so good to be back!
Summary: From being a mere servant girl to marrying the scariest prince in existence, your world changed right before your eyes. Exchanging places with the princess, you knew, wasn’t going to be easy. But could you have found love on the way? Or was it never meant to be?
Tumblr media
[previous]                                                                                               [next]
“Let me see what you got, boy. First one to gets slain takes the throne.” Bakugou sat in his throne, relaxed with his legs crossed, ready to watch a fight take place. Which one of his sons was going to take the throng?
Katsuo’s grip of the sword tightened and his jaw clenched. Shit. He didn’t know anything about fighting, let alone sword fighting. All he did know was him running away from angry store owners and trying to defend himself from people who tried to pick on him. Even if he knew self-defense, that didn’t mean he was going to win this fight. Second thoughts started to waver in Katsuo’s mind. Maybe coming to the palace wasn’t a great idea after all. Maybe he should have listened to his mother. But he knew it was all too late when he found himself clashing swords with his opponent. Katsuo barely had enough time to save himself, stumbling back, thankfully unharmed.
Eishi stood proud and tall in front of him, sword pointed directly at Katsuo and ready to battle. There was no backing out now. With both hands, Katsuo gripped the sword as steady as he could. Damn, swords were heavier than he thought. Eishi barely gave him enough time to recover from his first attack and instantly went in for another blow. Every attack Eishi did, Katsuo kept blocking with all his might. Katsuo lifted the sword high above his head to stop the sharp edge of the sword from piercing into his skin, but he kept getting lower and lower, backing up until he had no more room to back in to.
This was not good. Katsuo had no time to even try to swing back and it looked like he was about to get slain in no time, if he didn’t do anything about it. Kirishima watched from the side lines, carefully watching the fight and glancing at his highness. His fists clenched beside him. He knew this wasn’t right. He wanted to butt in when it got too dangerous, but he knew that if he did that, then the fight would be meaningless. The Queen literally looked like she was about to faint from worry. She stood with shaky legs as she bit her nails anxiously. Many emotions were running through her at the moment: anger for the King, anxious for her son, relieved because it looked like her son was winning. The King, on the other hand, looked like nothing was fazing him at all. Yet, he was also watching the fight carefully. Every move they made, their judgement, their actions, he was taking careful note of it all. Did he know which son was going to win? No. But it was a test to see if Katsuo was really his son or not.
The sword in Katsuo’s hand was getting heavier and heavier, almost to the point where he felt like he couldn’t hold it anymore. But if the sword ever left his hands, he knew he would be dead meat. Eishi was dominating him every second that past and it wasn’t long before they knew who would win the match and be the rightful heir to the throne. Right as he was about to lose all hope, Katsuo remembered all the fights he’s ever been in. Sure, he might have lost some and got beaten up pretty badly, but there were times when he won and got away. He used dirty tricks but he won. Now would be a good time when those dirty tricks come in handy.
When Eishi’s sword connected with his again, this time, Katsuo pushed upward, making Eishi stumble back from surprise. Eishi was doing so well and he thought he had got him, so he wasn’t expecting Katsuo to fight back. With that little pause Eishi took, that was ample amount of time for Katsuo to strike back. With all this might, Katsuo took one bit swing at his opponent, the sound of metal clashing boomed all throughout the room. Bakugou raised a brow in interest. Now things are starting to get interesting.
This time, Katsuo didn’t give him enough time to fight back. Strick after strick, Katsuo kept attacking. He was getting so used to how heavy the sword was that it started to light in his hands and he could swing it easier. Almost as if he has been sword fighting all his life.
Eishi started to get frustrated. He should have the upper hand. He should have the advantage. All his life, his mother pushed him to be the greatest. He studied hard, he practiced fighting until he was sore all over, he learned the best manners, he even tried following him to his meetings. Yet, it was never enough for the King. The King always looked at him as if he despised him. So why was it that when he finally got the chance to prove himself, he was losing? Why did this kid from nowhere decide to show up and threaten his throne? This kid was a rookie and didn’t even know how to hold a sword properly. Eishi dodged his attacks easily. So much so that he didn’t even need to make contact with his blade at all. With one swift movement, Eishi dragged his sword across the floor and up into Katsuo’s face, barely missing him by a hair. Had he not moved in time, it would be off with his head. That caused Katsuo to take a few steps back, breathing heavily.
Katsuo needed to think. This wasn’t working. There were too many close calls and he was sure that the next time wouldn’t be a close call anymore. But again, Eishi didn’t give him time to breath when he continued to charge at him. Eishi slammed his blade down so hard, the people watching could see the sparks fly off from the contact. Without thinking, the next time Katsuo pushed him back, he lifted his leg and kicked Eishi right in the gut. Eishi stumbled back and paused.
“Oi, swords only,” Eishi growled.
“No one said anything about rules. I’ll do what I want,” Katsuo said with fake confidence. More like he’ll do what he can to survive. But then it got him thinking: there were no rules to this fight. This was definitely a sword fight but no one said that you couldn’t use your body parts. If he learned anything from street fighting, it’s using his body and dirty tricks to his advantage. Eishi lunged forward, lifting his sword high in the air. Before he could strike Katsuo down, Katsuo bent down, swiftly dodged his attack, spinning on his knee so that now he was behind his opponent. With one forceful kick, Katsuo kicked Eishi’s back, making him fall to his knees. Angered and embarrassed that he let Katsuo do that, he was ready to turn back with clenched teeth but was met with the point of the sword just centimeters from his face.
Kirishima nodded in approval, impressed by the unskillful, young boy’s actions. Now where has he seen that trick before? Kirishima glanced at his King, only to see him already smirking to himself. Oh, he knew. Those were Bakugou’s moves afterall. Like father, like son. He could just see himself in him.
Katsuo had won. Defeated, Eishi dropped his sword, read of what was to become of him.
“Just do it,” Eishi said through gritted teeth. Katsuo’s hand shook. He had to do it. That was part of the battle. Whoever won would slay the loser. He had won, but why was he hesitating? He already knew the answer. It was wrong. Not abiding by the battle’s rules, Katsuo threw his sword down. Eishi let out the breath he was holding in.
“What…” Eishi gasped, not understand what was going on.
“I won’t,” Katsuo spoke up. Bakugou slanted his eyes at the boy. “I won’t kill him. I’ve proven my worth.”
There was a deafening silence. The air was thick and it was getting harder to breath. Had he angered the King? Was he making the right choice by sparing his life? All of a sudden, there was a slow clap. Katsuo looked up and saw the King clapping as if he was impressed.
“You’ve passed, my boy. Had you taken his head, you wouldn’t get the throne or even be allowed one more step in his palace. A true King doesn’t slay without meaning and this battle certainly has no meaning. Come, follow me,” Bakugou stands up and walks passed everybody. Passed Kirishima, passed the Queen, passed Eishi… but he stops right in front of him. Eishi looked down, ashamed. After all that training, all the hard work, he was still a disappointment. He couldn’t show his face after he humiliated himself. He was angry at himself, so much so that he was shaking uncontrollably. Bakugou’s face softened, just a tad, gently patted his shoulder a few times before taking off. Eishi’s head shot up in shock. That was the most affection and praise he’s ever gotten from his father. The pat on the shoulder almost felt as if he was saying, ‘good job’.
Katsuo chased after the King out of his throne room and into another space. Bakugou had stopped walking and just like a mirror, so did Katsuo.
“I’m going to ask you one more time,” Bakugou suddenly said and faced his son. “(y/n)… is she really your mother?” he asked hopeful. Katsuo nodded his head with all the confidence in the world. Bakugou let out a breathy sigh of relief. Relief that he had actually found you and was able to reunite with you soon. “Tell me where she is.”
“A few villages over. I don’t know how many villages over but the soldier who took me here would know.” Katsuo did his best to answer. That was enough for Bakugou.
In no time, Bakugou was headed out to your village, Kirishima leading the whole way. The whole ride, Bakugou was eager to see you. His heart wouldn’t stop leaping, wouldn’t stop doing summersaults in his chest. He couldn’t sleep. He wasn’t paying much attention to the soldiers who he brought along. He was solely focused on seeing you again and how much time could go by faster so he could see you.
Bakugou and his men’s horses came to a slow pace when arriving at your village. A small, dainty village it was. He couldn’t believe you lived so out in the open like this that it just slipped his mind to even look. Kirishima pointed your small home out to his highness from the hill they stood on and Bakugou felt like the excitement was just going to burst out of his chest.
But he couldn’t see you. This was your house, was it not? But it looked like the house has been abandoned. No matter how long they stood there, you were not coming in nor out of the home.
That was because you never left your house in the first place. You laid in your bed, which was a straw mat on the floor, for days on end. No water. No food. You didn’t see or interact with anybody. All day, you just cried. Cried every time you though about your son. Cried, even when you tried to forget about all the events happening to you. You cry yourself to sleep on most days. You didn’t have the strength to do anything. How could you?
But the more the days went on, the more you found the strength to do daily activities. You started to open up your house to more patients. You started leaving the house to get groceries. You even had enough strength to smile at those passing you. It took you a while, but you could do it. Though still, on most days of pretending to be okay, you still cried most nights.
And Bakugou saw it all. There wasn’t a day where he never came to visit you on that hill. He watched from above, watching you do all your daily activities. One day, he saw you being surrounded by a bunch of the village’s kids. You were taking care of them as if they were your own. A big smile crossed your face when one of the children jumped in your arms. You looked happy. But he knew behind that smile was pain and sorrow. Another day, he saw you busy with patients, not being able to rest for even a second. He just sat on that lonely hill, watching over you to see how you were doing. There were many times when he wanted to run to you, to comfort you, to hold you in his arms. He wanted to smell you again. He couldn’t remember what you smelled like or even when the last time he got a whiff of your scent. He wanted to comfort you when you were crying. He wanted to laugh and smile with you when you were having a good day. He wanted to hear the sweet tones of your voice. He would give anything to be with you at this very moment but Kirishima advised against it. Not until the moment was right.
You were walking back from the buying all your groceries for dinner, holding a basket full of fresh vegetables and meats in front of you when you passed by a pillar with a paper sign. Everybody was in shock and huddled around it. Whispers and gasps were shared among the people but you couldn’t make out what they were saying. So you pushed your way through in hopes to understand what was happening. That’s when you saw it. You read that poster over and over and over again. It couldn’t be… You dropped your basket, the vegetables rolling in different directions all over the floor.
The King had passed away.
Katsuo was getting ready for the big day: the coronation to crown him as King. He fixed his cape in the mirror, not liking where it was sitting on his shoulders. Maybe it was the nerves getting to him. There were so many things he was nervous for: the ceremony itself, meeting his people for the first time as King, seeing his mother…
His thoughts were interrupted by Eishi barging into his room, two cups on wine filled his hands.
“Time to celebrate!” Eishi exclaimed, raising the glasses high, almost to the point where the wine was going to spill out of the glass.
“It’s a tad too early to celebrate,” Katsuo chuckled, but still took a glass anyway.
“Never too early when it’s the biggest day of your life!” Eishi said, swinging his arms over his brother’s shoulder and chugged the wine down in one shot. “I’m glad it’s you.” He admits.
“And I’m glad you stood by my side for the past 6 years,” Katsuo smiles but then lets out a sad sigh. Eishi knew what that meant.
“You think she’s coming?” Eishi asked, mood now changed to a more serious tone.
“I hope,” Katsuo’s voice faded out. He picked up the special invite he had sent out to you, his mother.
The same invitation that you used to get inside the palace and into the big party to celebrate a new era of Kings. Were you surprised to get such a fancy invitation to the coronation? Surprise doesn’t even cover half of the emotions you were feeling.
You didn’t wear anything fancy. You didn’t have anything of the sorts in the first place. All your brought with you was your normal clothes underneath a black cloak that covered you well. All the guests looked at you with disgust and quickly moved away from you. You didn’t mind though. You remember when you used to dress like them, even if it was for a short time.
You roamed around the area, many vivid images flooded your memory of when you used to live at this palace. Many sad and happy memories were made here.
Horns blared, signaling the beginning of the ceremony. All eyes were on the powerful figure above the stairs. Katsuo, your son, stood proudly among the sea of staring eyes. Tears pooled in your eyes. You couldn’t help your emotions. Your son looked so handsome standing like a King. The comparison to your loved one was so uncanny, it was like looking at an exact replica. Katsuo was built just like his father, wore the same clothes, hair was spiky as ever, but his eyes were kinder, more understanding and less ferocious. He looked more approachable than his father but intimidating no less. You cry as you see how happy and how much like Bakugou he looked.
Seeing your son being crowned King filled your chest up with such pride, but you admired his accomplishments from afar. Your son was looking for you in the crowd, scanning the sea of people in front of him. But when he was about to get to you, you turned your head so that you couldn’t be seen. If anyone saw you two together, they would see him as a son of a concubine and not be accepted by the mass. You couldn’t let that happen. You couldn’t let this turn into another Bakugou situation, where you get shamed for being of low class. You couldn’t bother him, not that he has such an important role. So you leave without ever exchanging a word.
A/N: If anyone saw the move Heroes Rising... I got the inspiration of Katsuo doing his knee spin thingy from the first fight with Nine. Idk if anyone caught that but that was what was going on in my mind... LOL
It would be so so so cool to hear your thoughts, especially since I've been gone for so long! Thank you to everyone who supports me and everyone to sent lovely messages to me!
