You know what, the Driftmark girlies have been slightly redeemed in my eyes after the second and third episode.

Baela admitting she hates her father? Preach actually. I did not see that coming at all. And don’t get me started on how Rhaenyra thinks her stepdaughter is disposable enough to take on the dangerous task of keeping watch, but prevents her darling boy from risking his life. Sickening!

Rhaena talking back to Rhaenyra and being upset that she’s sending her away from her family to be a substitute mother to her children as if she’s some kind of wet nurse? Refreshing as a cucumber.

Rhaenys knocking Rhaenyra down a peg, telling her that she’s not as innocent as she thinks she is and reminding her that Luc taking Aemond’s eye is what started this mess? Gasped. Never expected miss Bump-It to be so real.

Props to them for finally growing a spine and criticising Daemyra for their shit. They’ve finally made them more nuanced and I’m so happy because I could not stand the ass licking that was going on.
