As the two of you made out, his hands roamed and squeezed at your body, luring squeaks and moans of pleasure from your lips. 

“Hey, I know you already did this with Jeffy... I just wanna remind you that you don’t have to do anything you’re not sure of with me, okay?”

Norman was rougher than Jeff on any given day, but right now, he held you like you’d break under his touch. He was more gentle with you than you ever could have imagined, and the fact that he was being so patient with you somehow left you writhing and needy for him. 

“I know, Bubba. Now will you fuck me, already?”

Norman laughed, pressed his erection against you and kissed your lips. His body rocked firmly against you, left you writhing and hot and drew a sigh of relief when he finally stopped teasing you and pulled your underwear off. 

Curiosity got the best of you and you sat up on your elbows to watch as he stood from the bed and hooked his fingers in the waistband of his boxers. Before he pulled them down he stopped and a look came over his face. Rubbing a hand over his forehead, he half-laugh half-groaned and sighed out your name. 

“Y/n, I’m an idiot,” his voice was muffled by his hands blocking his face, “I totally forgot I did this.” His head shook back and forth before he shot you a charmingly boyish smile and said, “Please don’t laugh.”

The hair around his base peeked out, and then he was springing free, thick and heavy but not quite as long as Jeffrey. His cock made your mouth water, but as you took him in fully, you sucked in a breath to compose yourself for him. 

“Is?” you gasped, breath caught in your throat. “Is that?”

Bubba nodded, looking as apologetic as he could for what he was presenting you with. Beneath his navel, a dusting of hair formed his happy trail that led down to trimmed, light brown hair. Pretty standard, aside from the shape in which his pubic hair was shaved. 

A small laugh begged to leave your throat but you swallowed it down to ask, “So… did you need help with that or did you just do it freehand?”

The way his face twisted in offense broke your control and laughter rang out into the room as Norman stood before you with his pubes shaved into a lightning bolt that pointed right at his dick. 

His long legs folded, knees hitting the bed to crawl over you. “C’mon, Y/n, don’t you know it’s not okay to laugh at a naked man?” 

A loud snort landed against his cheek and the two of you chuckled and howled long enough for your eyes to collect tears. When you’d finally come down from the absurdity of it, your cheeks and belly hurt. 

A couple of loud knocks landed on the door, breaking you both out of it. “Hey, you guys okay in there?” Jeffrey called out, setting you off again. 

“We’re good, Sugar,” Normy called back, shaking his head down at you affectionately. “You’re the goddamn worst, you know that?” he laughed against your lips. 

Before you could spit out a sassy comment for him, his kiss reignited your desire and the lightning bolt on his crotch settled between your legs.

Fairies took their full moon events seriously, and if you asked Marlin, that was an understatement.

He used to live for those events back in Korea, but he hadn’t been much into them since arriving in this Hollow. He took to some as a child because he thought maybe the rest of the Hollow would get used to Nemo’s wing if they saw it out and about; of course, also so Nemo could learn English by socializing at them. They never felt the same as they did back home.

Nothing even came close to how it felt back home. Even when he cooked Korean food, he couldn’t help feeling like it would taste that much better if he cooked it in Korea, as if that really mattered.

He still didn’t look forward to them like he would back then, but at his therapist’s and the listening-talent’s behest, he’d been attending them. Marlin was pleased to report to them that he did not regret going. Usually he stopped short of saying he had a great time, but ‘more than good’ would be accurate.

(He told his son he had a great time, lest Nemo worry that ‘more than good’ meant ‘miserable.’ It was only a matter of time before that was true anyway, so what’s the harm in saying it was true now?)

September’s moon festival, the Harvest Moon, was one of the biggest and though the full moon was still weeks away, it was full steam ahead in the Hollow to prepare for this one. What better way, Marlin thought, to encourage along fully enjoying these events again than to be invested in preparing for one of the most important ones?

So volunteer he did! 

Only a couple fairies (in a friendly way, he told himself, because it was probably true) joked that it was surprising for him. He only smiled in response.

When he says it was a relief to spot Sled in the group of volunteers setting up the stage for performances, he means like a camel about to get his first water in days. Contrary to popular belief, he did enjoy social interaction...spotting Sled meant he’d get to talk to someone!

“I wasn’t expecting to see you here today,” he said. “I thought you’d be working. Lucky that you had time free. Ah, to help.”

Saying ‘you’re really my only friend here today’ sounded depressing, so he decided he wasn’t going to say that.

Mu-yeol’s son was cast as a main character in the summer musical and a normal father would be thrilled, period. Thrilled. Period. Period. But Mu-yeol was thrilled, and, wondering if perhaps the folks who signed off on scholarship grants for Pride U’s dance department might be there.

If they saw his son in action then surely they’d want to be the ones responsible for furthering his dance career, right?

Mu-yeol sat behind the counter of Moon Market, watching a drama with Jun in the lull between busy hours. “Aichum. Why are the male leads usually so unlikable at first. I just want Eun-sae to punch him.”

Mu-yeol imagined that Ting-Ting would be busy as all hell after the events of the Blackwell’s gala, what with people surely coming to her for sorceress things, so he only checked in via text immediately after. Now that she was probably past the rush he reached out to arrange tea. 

It always felt a tinge strange with his human friends. It wasn’t like Tod, Ting, or Jun could come to the Hollow so he could host them, so it always felt a little bit like he was inviting himself. 

If it bothered them, they never said so, and he decided to take it as proof they didn’t care instead of evidence they secretly hated him.

Mu Hou let him in and he paused to hand her a little wrapped gift, explaining it wasn’t much, but Ting had mentioned they were her favorite fruit and he thought she could use her favorite snack. The ‘in light of recent events’ was unspoken but obvious.

“Belated Chuseok present,” Mu-yeol said when he handed Ting-Ting her present. Not that gifts were always given at Chuseok. Still, they could be.

“I thought I’d exhausted the internet’s fish-themed laughs, but it seems they’re never-ending.”

Mu-yeol should have been paying attention to what the student tour guide was saying, but his eyes kept darting to the brochure in his hand. As he read the price tag of sending his son to Pride U for the twentieth time he heard nothing but ATMs.

The beep, beep, beep, beep of the buttons as he typed in his PIN, and of course on repeat insufficient funds, insufficient funds, insufficient--

He didn’t come back to the tour mentally until he felt some pairs of eyes on him. Oh no. More than some. At least half the tour group, and the guide. Wait, the guide? No, oh jingles, that means the guide must have asked him a question.

Why him? Why not address the other five sets of parents and prospective students, yeah?

“Ah, I’m sorry, I missed that?”

Marlin would like to stress that he is, in fact, not on a date with Sled...in the traditional sense. See, he ended up in NTO with a list of dates to do with Sled because he made the mistake of talking about how he was going to actually make use of the dating app Tod made him download, and then promptly panicked.

‘Wait, what do people even do on dates? What’s a good idea?’

The two sparrowmen looked at a list a Google search came up with on Marlin’s phone while the Hollow’s Full Moon Festival continued around them.

It was Sled’s idea to, quote, “do dates” with him to test out which of Google’s ideas were actually good.

“Right, so the axe-throwing bar was a terrifying yet exhilarating experience. What’s next on the list?”

Past Saving

Pairing: None - Sister!Reader from Dean’s PoV.

A/N: This is written for @mrs-squirrel-chester / @mamapeterson’s Album Fanfiction Challenge. The album I chose was Smoke + Mirrors by Imagine Dragons and this one is inspired by Trouble.

Dean had accepted a long time ago that hunting was always going to be his life. He had, had brief moments of hope where he had seen a light, a way out, but when it came down to it hunting was who he was. It was all he knew and as much of a toll it took on him at times, he liked it. He was good at it and he kept people safe from the things they didn’t even know they should be afraid off.

The only regrets he had was keeping Sam and Y/N in the life with him. Dean knew he had, had an out as a kid. He could have stayed behind at the boys home and watched John drive off with his siblings in the backseat of the car. He had chosen not too because he wanted to keep them safe. He never wanted them to think he wouldn’t want to be their brother. Even if Dean was crappy at saying it, they made him proud and he loved them more than anything. Years later, apocalypses later, lies, betrayal, horrible mistakes later and that was still true. Dean would lay his life down for either of them in a heartbeat. He was past saving. The Mark on his arm was changing him and he felt himself slip away a little by little. His soul was beyond saving even if Y/N was praying for him every night. Even if Sam was making deals with devils and witches.

Dean knew he had to leave them this time. He had to turn his back on the two people he loved more than anything in this world and walk out the door. Not because he didn’t love them, but because he did. Because he knew no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t save him. Not this time and Dean felt the darkness inside him winning. He had to walk away before he hurt them. Before he did something he could never take back and his soul would be lost forever. Before he killed them….

This takes place between the part one and part two LWR series. Before Y/N returns to Canada.

“Mommy?” Rebecca was sitting on your bed while you were packing. Trying to decide what to bring now and what to ship later wasn’t as easy as you would think.

“Yes sweetheart.” You replied without looking at her, as you kept packing.

“You lived in Canada before I was born?” she asked and you smiled to yourself. She was such a smart kid.

“Yeah I did for a few years.” You answered still not paying too much attention to her but that changed with her next question.

“Is my daddy Canadian?” You looked up from your suitcase and froze. You knew she was going to start to ask questions soon. She had a few times before but you had managed to always distract her to avoid the subject. You knew you couldn’t keep doing that. She was getting too old and she deserved to know. You just had no idea what to tell her.

“No he’s not.” You answered, which wasn’t a lie. Michael had a company in Canada when you left but he was from Chicago and Jensen worked in Vancouver nine months out of the year but he was from Texas.

“But he speaks english? That’s why we do sometimes?” Rebecca looked up at you and you took a deep breath, before deciding to be as honest with her as you could. You sat down on the bed next to you and pulled her onto your lap.

“Yes he does. Your dad is from America, but he works in Canada. That’s where I met him,” you answered her truthfully, gently stroking her y/h/c hair away from her face.

“Is he a bad man? Is that why we move so much?” Rebecca frowned.

Your heart shattered into pieces with that question. You knew she was wise beyond her years. She made you so proud, but in moments like this you wished she wasn’t so observant. You wanted to spare her from everything you had gone through, so you made a decision. You decided that the man you had spent over three years hoping was her dad, would be. The man there hadn’t been a day since you left, you hadn’t wanted to call, but never had. You knew there would be much for you to explain, but you loved him and you knew he would love Becca. You just hoped he could find it in him to forgive you, even if you didn’t deserve it.

You smiled as you looked into her big green questioning eyes. Eyes that reinforced your hope that you weren’t lying to her. “No. No baby he isn’t. You daddy is an amazing man. Mommy has just made a lot of mistake, but I am gonna make things right. I promise.”

A tear fell from your eyes and Rebecca instantly wrapped her arms around your neck. “It’s okay Mommy. I love you. We have each other.”

You smiled as you held her close to your chest. She had to be Jensen’s daughter. She was smart, beautiful and kind. She reminded you so much of him every day and you hoped with everything you had it was because she was his. You hoped it wasn’t just your mind playing tricks on you. The alternative was unbearable. If she wasn’t Jensen’s daughter, you going back to Canada could mean a lifetime of fighting to keep your daughter safe from the man, that had taken everything from you. The man that had driven you to flee a life you loved. The monster that had beaten you and broken your spirit, enough to make you turn your back on the person you had counted on and loved more than anything. No matter how much time had passed and how much water there was under the bridge, you still loved Jensen. You knew you always would.
