Look I’m all for keeping Matt for the drama of it all but imma be real if his edit keeps pushing the victim narrative it’s not worth it. I cannot deal with another productions pet getting the underdog edit while they suck tremendously on the feeds and that behavior is completely covered up. You know I actually really like the Deep's arc over the 4 seasons we have. Cause at first i was really convinced they were gearing up for a redemption arc: taking him down a notch, hurting him like he's been hurting others, developping his empathy. And I'm not saying it won't still happen, but. I like how they flipped the expectations on their head this season. Dude just snapped. Really shows that sometimes when people are deeply hurt... They just get worse.

I am SO happy with this next gen messed up family dynamic in the Madoc household. I am SO HAPPY with it. Jude's first memory of Oak is being terrified that Madoc would kick her and Taryn out now that he has a new kid. Almost two decades later, Oak is terrified Jude would finally get fed up with the threat he poses to her status and just get rid of him already. While raising Oak, Jude tried so hard to balance out the necessary parts of her upbringing with things she missed, but it wasn't enough, the cycle continued, he is just as messed up and suffering as she was, just in a different way. THIS is what spinoffs are for baby
