Dreamcore, Nostalgiacore, and Liminal Spaces do so many weird things to me and my head

It freaks me out because something about each of them just batters my head telling it I'm familiar, but then I don't have any memory of something like it, except it still feels familiar and my head's just at war with itself

There's something just so...freakish but beautiful about them, I'm naturally drawn to them, and I just can't fathom what it is. I think what it is is that I'm trying to understand something that can't be understood, but it's different because I have a vague sense of familiarity with it, and looking at them is...appealing

Right, well...

In both the manga (which *is* canon) Danganronpa IF (which isn't canon, but still has its characters acting how they would in canon) and the relationship charts, Leon and Sayaka are shown to have mutual respect and appreciation for each other.

Now, did Sayaka try to kill Leon? Yes, obviously, no disputing that, but it's less selfish and malicious than people make it out to be. Sayaka was desperate and the music industry, let alone the idol industry, is scathing and demanding as absolute fuck, it really isn't surprising that Sayaka would try and kill someone (even if it's someone she likes) to maintain the position she had to work her ass off for

And another thing, right, Leon did *not* murder Sayaka. Did he bust the door to the bathroom where she was? Yes, absolutely, and it was a dumb move on his part, but, you gotta think, he *did* just have an attempt on his life made, and his heart and intentions *were* in the right place.

He tried to talk and reason with Sayaka, but she was too far gone at that point and lost her shit again, the death was an accident, and Leon covered his (accidental) crime up because, well, why wouldn't he?

Also, Leon kills a Monokuma unit in Danganronpa IF to protect Sayaka, and in the relationship charts, she blushes at the notion of being his type. There *is* chemistry between them, whether you ship them or don't (I like Leosaya, but in my mind, Leon belongs to Celeste. Still, you can't deny that there's a basis for Leon and Sayaka)

Just a bit hypocritical, innit? Being opposed to proshipping (problematic shipping) and liking ship dynamics, which *are* problematic?

I'm not a proshipper myself, nor am I opposed to proshipping (one of my favourite mutuals of mine is a proshipper) I'd say I'm indifferent, but I just think it's stupid and hypocritical what's been shown in the post
