Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this Bacon Wrapped Cheesesteak Meatloaf recipe. Savory ground meats, wrapped in crispy bacon, and topped with melted provolone cheese, it's a delicious twist on a classic meatloaf with a Philly cheesesteak flavor. The sautéed mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers add the perfect finishing touch.

Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 lb ground pork. 1/2 lb ground veal. 1 onion, finely chopped. 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup breadcrumbs. 1/2 cup milk. 2 eggs. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp paprika. 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 8 slices bacon. 1 cup shredded provolone cheese. 1 cup sliced mushrooms. 1/2 cup sliced onions. 1/2 cup sliced green bell peppers. 1/2 cup sliced red bell peppers.

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, ground veal, chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Wrap the meatloaf with bacon slices, ensuring it's completely covered. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160F 71C. While the meatloaf is baking, saut sliced mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers until they are tender and caramelized. Once the meatloaf is cooked, remove it from the oven and sprinkle shredded provolone cheese over the top. Place it back in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove the bacon-wrapped cheesesteak meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve slices of the meatloaf with the sauted vegetables on top. Enjoy!

Hell I even thought I was getting fancy by stuffing the crust with bacon; but I should've at least partially cooked it first. The ricotta was much to liquidy and didn't set and on top of that I used everything I had leftover of it and that was too much. I did enjoy the crust. A deep dish pizza crust that's smoked off a Traeger is a beautiful thing; but overall, tonight's pizza was not. Thanks for coming out day 190 and I can't wait for redemtion day 191!
