I just saw Nick Carter and AJ McLean perform Bye Bye Bye with Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. They ended the song wITH THE FUCKING DANCE.

This is kind of random but I feel like you might appreciate the comparison. I took and *NSYNC BSB YouTube deep dive for the dancing this evening (because while I do love 1D, I was a teenybopper during in the late 90s early 00s) and can appreciate the whole “Backsync” revival. But the one thing I have really a thought about in recent years was the friendship between lance bass and Joey fatone and was thinking about how different that is compared to early direction days when they did played up the Harry Louis BFF thing, and when you look at the two friendships it’s so clear how platonic lance and Joey are but also have a very deep friendship compared to H and L who were clearly close in a way different way. And also although a different time, there was never any rumors about the two of them (although I did grow up in Florida with friends who went to college in Orlando who told me lance was gay way before it was public knowledge) there was never anything about how fandom ruined there relationship because I think people can tell the difference between platonic closeness and the type of romantic closeness H&L clearly have.

Hi sweetheart. That's an interesting point. And makes so much sense. I was a little too old for those bands, but I know @lovingstheantidote and @lornasaurusrex could probably talk for days about this.

It’s okay to love to hate Gul Dukat on Deep Space Nine. We need them villains so we can have something healthy to hate and not be like and show us why we shouldn’t be like that. 

Just deconstructing the remixed yarn cakes yesterday, want to mix them up again and come up with mixes more in line for what I want. 

Watched some Cure stuff, like the 1992 London concert. If Porl/Pearl could pick himself up and do all that with a cast after falling of the back of a motorcycle(ist) what’s making you have to think sideways?

A good sign you’d do well in a boy band is the ability to quickly pick up something and parrot it back. Love or hate the Backsync Boys watch any of their making of videos and try to keep up. Like circus acts it’s the same thing over and over timed to the music. Sam from The Wiggles got where he got because he could slip in to Bitch Greg mode when ever he had a bad health day. 

Before my brain injury I was somewhat in that boat and getting board in dance class because it was easier for me to work on the whole dance not just step by step. Don’t miss that shit. Was getting body shamed before puberty. Too bad my Hollywood job liked how I looked and I got some jobs because of my size and shape. 

Have been doing some thinking about writing. Wish I had a supportive Goff Barbie and Teddy fan to bounce an idea off of. Like the user who reblogged the totally know its called a keytar/str*p *n thing/ I’m going to use the idea I got, it just wants a bit of encouragement. 

Some times all ideas need are a bit of encouragement to help them along. 

If anyone is looking for some mostly original with some familarish expys WIP to beta read let me know. Real life has me disconnected with people I can count on to read and give me real feedback. 

I’m not going to stop writing, like I said before some things just need a bit of encouragement or assurance that the sky on Earth is blue. 

More string to deconstruct, writing will be thought about at least and that totally counts because you’re working that shit out.

ET’s Cassie DiLaura caught up with Joey Fatone, Nick Carter, Lance Bass and AJ McLean at a recent concert. The boy band members joined forces for a Pride Month show benefiting the Trevor Project. Despite being thought of as rivals at the height of their success, the guys share the mutual admiration they’ve had for each other’s music and tease the possibility of recording an album together.

Does everybody have those moments when they want to listen to nothing else for the rest of their lives except Backstreet Boys & *NSYNC or is that just me lol I can't tell anymore. I'm gonna go ahead & make my playlist now. "Backstreet SYNC" I'll call it lmao or maybe "BackSYNC"

Instead of dwelling on the emotional abuse trap with no way out that I was stuck in yesterday I’ll just think about 99 Cent Store Scary Mary there. She’s the one on the right. On the left is Xavier, a Dollzone Fei, who is steadily becoming beauty green. He doesn’t look a little like a Vorta I met and shook hands with, he looks a lot. 

When I was in a time of darkness Deep Space Nine, the Backsync Boys, and a rekindled love of Joey McIntyre literally kept me alive. 

You want dolls? That’s how you get dolls. 

I’ll take more pictures of Scary Mary so the doll community can try and figure out what her mold is a copy of. I feel like touching her up a bit. Don’t know yet so she’s sitting on a shelf. There’s just a head and upper chest to her so she’ll be good for making one of those umbrella skirt broom cover things. 

I want to make eye holes in her, I have some eyes, and her plastic feels stiff. All of them have nose defects from their molding. 

Curt is looking better than Roland but they’re getting there. I’m up in the air if I’m going to do doll work today or other stuff and things. The fifth head in this batch was starting off as Marc Almond but if I can’t pull him together in the next session I might turn him in to Martin Gore. 

I might write some more, repeat after me ~Basque and Andorra are two different peoples with unique heritage and cultures~ and Taured doesn’t exist in this dimension. 

My feels feel fragile today because of yesterday and my brain trying to continue on that track. I was able to derail it mostly. Any thought that derails a negative emotion train, no matter what type of thought it is, is useful in the moment. When the negative emotion train has stopped or slowed to a reasonable pace it will be easier to gain control of your thoughts. 

The mind needs to purge its self of stuff at times and any way you find that isn’t self destructive or harms others is valid. 

I have a day of watching Tater kitten to start.
