marcus  had  a  pleasant  &  positive  upbringing  as  a  child.  his  father  was  british  and  his  mother  was  malaysian  in  which  they  spent  time  in  both  the  uk  &  malaysia.  whilst  they  weren't  considered  affluent,  they  lived  comfortably.  both  of  marcus's  parents  made  sacrifices  so  that  marcus  could  have  the  best  opportunities  in  life  such  as  getting  a  good  education.  ultimately,  they  would  see  their  son  flourish  during  his  childhood.

marcus's  grandmother  was  a  seamstress,  where  she  set  up  and  worked  for  years  to  own  her  own  business.  she  was  very  proficient  with  needles  &  stitching,  designing  beautiful  dresses  and  clothes  for  her  store.  in  her  spare  time  when  marcus  visited  her,  they  would  play  mahjong  for  hours.  this  taught  marcus  about  strategy  and  tactics  at  a  very  young  age.  marcus  always  lets  her  win  because  it  brought  her  a  smile  on  her  face  that  he  loved  to  see. 

marcus's  grandfather;  was  a  blacksmith  specializing  as  a  swordsmith  for  a  ninja  clan  which  he  was  trained  &  inducted  into.  marcus's  grandfather  taught  him  the  values  as  a  child  which  were  to  be  resilient,  have  courage  in  the  worst  situations  &  be  adaptable.  it  wouldn't  be  until  years  later,  where  marcus's  grandfather  &  the  clan  trained  him  in  their  ways.

Recently began watching Transformers movie series for the first time in my life because of cute Bumblebee clips on Youtube

When I was little I thought 'cars that turn into robots? Lame.' since I'm not interested in cars in general and thought it's just some japanese cliche mecha kid's show and never bothered to look up anything about Transformers

but turns out it's actually 'alien sentient robots that turn into cars as disguise and their form isn't limited to just cars' and the fact they reproduce like insects as little 'sparklings' in liquid filled cocoons(as shown in the decepticon scene in Revenge of the Fallen) and grow up in size as they age like organic creatures intrigues my non-human species/AIs loving brain
