Nigo Event "Knowing the Unseen" Event Summary

Character Feature : Nigo members + Miku Len Rin Nigo + Yukihira + Ena's father

Event Summary (Twitter) : Lately, Ena's mind has been filled with one thing: whether she should apply to an art school or not. However, the more she thinks about it, the more impatient she gets, and this has been reflected clearly in her own artwork. Ena later confides her problem to her art teacher, Yukihira. Noticing how she hasn't been doing well lately, he then proposes an "extracurricular lesson" to her...

Event Story (Mine) : Prologue same as above, Ena still wondering to continuing art or not. Yukihira asked Ena to attend her father's exhibition for her to learn. She looks around the paint and founds that most paint feels so dark except one. Yukihira tells her father past that he once lost his way just like current Ena but can't quit after looking at baby Ena which produce one not so dark painting.

After knowing that, she talks with her father, finally know her father struggle on arts and the reasons he keeps Ena away from painting. After hearing her father reasoning, she finally decided to continue being a painter as she can't imagine her life without paint

I recomended to read this story, it's sad and heartwarming and makes you know some ways to appreciate arts. It makes me remember attended one of VanGogh exhibition and keep looking at darker paint. Maybe he too had same feelings, feels confuse and lost his ways to do paint but still doing it since he only had that to life.

This scene happened after Ena receive an extracurricular lesson from Yukihira, to attend her father's solo exhibition as helper. As Len want to know what's solo exhibition, Ena showed some photo around it.

Scene happens after she remembering all Yukihira talk past and her past. She reminded by how harsh to walk the path of profesional painter as her father was.

Rarity : This is Ena focused event story while Len and Rin helped her, too bad no Rin card and as always Mafuyu always get 4* in nigo centric event even without doing anything (lol)

I pretty like Ena arts here, too bad I uninstall the game around this event happened since I want to try Wuwa but now I just reinstall it. Ena art feels like even looks confused, there's hope in darker place.

But it’s Azami…Azami got the secret baby….that was the true twist of the season. Asahi being his secret baby was there along since he (like Azami) is dark but very pale, obsessed with Joichiro, wanted to use Erinafor his own goals, & doesn’t like Soma at first because of his closeness to Joichiro & Erina. It was def a copy and paste in the dna!

History will show that them Yukihira men just know how to make this "ba-baka" family act up in some way, shape or form. It is truly generational.

i have come back from the dead to drop the final chapter (i skipped all the middle ones lol) of renaissance, my totsuki legacies headcanon babies or whatever. feat arato-hayama daughter and nakiri-yukihira daughter mostly

“It’s about time I redesigned Legislation,” Kaede said through the pencil between her teeth, her broad draftbook propped open on her knees. “This looks absolutely horrendous.” She was sitting on the decadent rug in Hikari’s office at Administration wearing boardshorts and one of Hikari’s crop tanks with old sketches of Totsuki’s current Legislation building spread around her.

Hikari sighed resignedly. “So you’ve said.”

Dropping the pencil to her lap, Kaede closed her draftbook and said, “I’ll have blueprints for you by next week. But that’s not important right now. Hikari, what’s wrong?”

“Why would something be wrong?” asked the chef. “Other than the fact that I forgot your 18th fucking birthday two months ago.”

Kaede rolled her eyes. “Since when have you ever remembered my birthday? You’re wearing a shirt with sleeves. There is most definitely something wrong.” She set aside her drafting materials and scooted over next to Hikari. “I know you only called me here to talk. If this was an actual commission, the current fourth seat would’ve contacted me. Did you even tell Eissan that you’re diving into Totsuki’s budget? He’ll go loopy if the monthly statement doesn’t match his record books.”

“Oh, yeah. About that. I’m not really on speaking terms with him right now.”

Kaede blanched. “Eh?”

All traces of her typical badass nature lost to the winds, Hikari rested her head against Kaede’s shoulder. “I broke up with him.” 

Fuck.

There wasn’t anything she could say that would give justice to the overwhelming gravity of the statement, so Kaede pulled Hikari closer and held her in silence for a long while.

“So… you mind telling me what happened?”

“Nothing, actually. I realized I don’t want to narrow my field of vision just because he seems like the right person… right now. What was it you said? Better to break his heart now rather than later when he’s too far in.”

“Yeah.”

“I don’t want Seiya to not be in my life.”

Kaede smiled gently and shifted to face her. They were both cross-legged and their knees were touching. “Of course. But it’s going to take a while for Eissan to realize he can’t call you his girlfriend anymore. You have to give him his grace period. But don’t linger.”

“Of course not,” Hikari replied, leaning back on her elbows. “I don’t change my mind.”

“I know you don’t.”

“I don’t mean to pry, but I just want to know… why did you and Tsukasa break up?”

At this the architect gave Hikari a long look, her heterochromatic eyes suddenly full of recollections. “We were incompatible,” Kaede replied finally, and her voice was clipped.

“You must’ve hurt him pretty bad,” Hikari said, knowing this girl only spoke like that when she was feeling regret.

“Yeah.”

It occurred to Kaede then that she would give up any commission to see Hikari. She’d choose this silver haired chef with a mutant nose over the New York Times, the prime minister of Finland, the governor of California, a thousand awards and infinite accolades. Every day, any day, she would come back for Arato-Hayama Hikari the second she called.

“You’re thinking aloud again,” Hikari chuckled.

“Shut up.”

“Would you really, though?”

“What?”

“Give up your work for me.”

Kaede gave her a look and remained silent for a long moment. “Of course.”

At this, Hikari sat up and leaned forward. “And what if I told you I want you around all the time?”

“Then… I guess I would stay.”

If Kaede had been a chef, tonight would’ve been her gradfest. Following the graduation ceremony in the morning, the legacies of Totsuki’s 90, 91, and 92nd generations were now gathered in the ballroom of Nakiri Mansion with their parents to celebrate the end of another era of jewels at the academy.

Despite their typical inclinations to network and hold court, Kaede and Hikari hovered in the periphery of the area, staying within a few meters of the bar. 

There was something different between them — it was foreign but not unwelcome. Something passionate, vibrant, and utterly charged.

Hikari looked up at Kaede over her champagne flute. She was wrapping up a conversation with Erina and Hisako about designing a building for their first joint venture because seriously what the fuck had taken them so long. Her strawberry blonde hair was tied in a high ponytail, her angular face framed with loose strands. God, her eyes. The light from the chandeliers overhead glanced off those dangerous panes of glass, more electric than lightning. 

“Is it weird,” Hikari asked the three of them once the flow of words had more or less stagnated, “that I find my childhood best friend ridiculously attractive? Like… hella fucking cute?”

Kaede frowned, and for a second Hikari thought she registered a flicker of disappointment in her eyes. “I mean, not really. He’s gorgeous. Isn’t he taken, though?”

“Sorry?”

Erina said, “I thought he was dating Marui Sena.”

“Aren’t you talking about Auden?” Hisako asked.

Hikari shook her head. “I’m not talking about him.”

Kaede finished off her mimosa and gave an eyebrow raise. “Who is this childhood friend? Do I need to interrogate someone to make sure they deserve you?”

“I’ll help,” Hisako put in. “Private Investigator Arato is a little rusty but back in business.”

Without another word, before she could register the fact that everyone — their parents included — was watching them, Hikari leaned in and kissed Yukihira Kaede.

It was a fucking war. Blazing, intense.

And yet it was like the ripples in a pond. Quiet, serene.

Hikari noted with moderate amusement that Kaede was one hell of a good kisser. Whether this was due to her inherited god tongue was up to debate, but she had no time to wonder because it hit her then that Kaede was kissing her back. She set down her flute and swiveled to pin the architect against the bar, threading her fingers through her hair, closing a distance between them that did not exist. It was rare for Arato-Hayama Hikari to be more in tune with her tongue than her nose, but Kaede’s lips were warm and soft, sweet and salty at the same time, rendering everything else insignificant. Spices, mint, champagne.

When they finally came up for air, Kaede’s eyes were glazed over, the flaring purple and amber lights dimmed to a glossy ambience. But then she blinked and her expression cleared, and she commented drily, “I guess no vicious interrogation session?”

Hikari smirked as Kaede placed her glass down with all the acute precision that her occupation demanded.

“Hayama, what if I break your heart?”

“You won’t, Nakiri,” she replied, and then she kissed the architect again, ignoring their mothers’ ecstatic whooping and the congratulatory racket of everyone else in the ballroom. And that was more than enough.

This was the renaissance of emotions they’d tamped down— 

No, that wasn’t it. That wasn’t it at all.

How would be the relationship of baby Yukihira with his parents, brother and grandparents? I remember you mentioned that she would be Senzaemon favorite great-granddaughter

Baby Yukihira and Souma

As a little girl, this child is her father’s shadow. She wants to go everywhere he goes and learn all the Yukihira-style recipes. She would be in literal tears whenever he traveled overseas without her. Because Souma is soft for her, he ends up bringing her along more often than not, and the staff at all his restaurants know her really well. 

Because she’s the youngest heir and doesn’t have the god tongue, she is sometimes overlooked by those that surround the Nakiri family and the culinary elite at large. To offset this, Souma always paid special attention to her, and often brought her to the Sumiredori Shopping District to get spoiled and loved on by the grandmothers. He never lets her get down on herself or feel unspecial. 

When baby Yukihira looks back on her childhood, what she’ll remember the most is laughing with her father, watching him cook, and sharing snacks. Souma is absolutely everything to her, and everybody knows it. (It’s actually kind of strange for Souma because he thought she would favor Erina like her brother does) 

Baby Yukihira and Erina 

As a young girl, Erina  had dreamed about having a daughter, about long tea parties dressed in ballgowns and elegant white gloves...yeah, not this child. Erina learned quickly that the life of the sheltered ojou-sama was not for her daughter, and had no desire to force it onto her. Erina and baby bond mostly over cooking. Her little girl is a sponge when it comes to culinary knowledge, and she wants to learn everything Erina can teach her. 

Even though Erina always supports her dishes, baby Yukihira knows her mom’s god tongue is very particular, and she wants to make food that she truly loves (and would love even if it wasn’t made by her only daughter). She actually worries about her mom and her brother quite a lot, and the thought of them motivates her to become a better chef. 

Erina was so grateful that she didn’t pass the god tongue down to baby Yukihira. She wants to give her daughter the kind of unrestrained happy childhood that she never had and allow her to find her own path. 

Baby Yukihira and Raiden

Spoiled little sister alert! This child can actually get her brother to give, buy, or make her whatever she wants in this world (when he’s around anyway). She gets so annoyed whenever he goes more than a few months without coming home and has been known to call him at any time of day to ask what she had done to be abandoned by her only brother. 

Despite her theatrics, Raiden is constantly sending his sister videos of his travels and telling her about the new dishes he found or created. She’s never had the same level of wanderlust as Raiden, but the videos let her live vicariously through him. 

Baby Yukihira will never test an experimental dish on her brother. When she was four or five, something she cooked made him sick, and she swore from that day forward she would only give him her best. Raiden has tried to tell her that he’ll try anything she makes, but this girl is insistent. 

Baby Yukihira and Jouichirou

Jou spends a lot of time with this small one while Souma and Erina are dealing with their restaurant empires. While Jouichirou bonded with Raiden by taking him overseas, he and baby Yukihira spend most of their time at the diner. She picks up some distinct mannerisms from working there, and she ends up reminding her grandfather a lot of Grandma Tamako.

Working with her grandfather at the diner was what first got her thinking about bringing elite gastronomy to the common table. She realized that this is what her grandfather had been doing for years without naming it. She challenges her grandfather about the menu, and always argues when he says things like “People at a diner don’t want to eat this or try that.” She usually gets her way in the end. (Souma marvels at how brave his daughter is; he never would have tried anything like that when he was a kid)

Baby Yukihira and Mana

Like Erina, Mana is relieved when it’s confirmed that she doesn’t have the god tongue. Although she wishes the child would conduct herself in a way more befitting the daughter of an old and powerful family, she is glad that baby Yukihira won’t be burdened in that way. 

When she comes around, Mana tries to get this child more interested in tradition and history. She dresses her up in elaborate kimonos and  jewelry and geta sandals, and baby Yukihira endures it because seeing Grandma Nakiri is a rare treat. When she’s old enough, this child takes to calling the WGO headquarters every so often to ask after grandmother’s welfare (she worries, and she knows that Erina does too, even though she’s too stubborn to say so).

Baby Yukihira and Senzaemon

Every time baby Yukihira is going to see her great-grandfather, she brings him a new snack. The literal highlight of his golden years is watching this little one dig around in her kiddie purse and pull out a bag of chips or a snack cake from a different part of the world. 

In return, Senzaemon will make her one of the dishes from his childhood and tell her stories about the early years of Totsuki and all of the great generations. He tells her about when her grandmother was younger than she is, and about the dish his late wife would make whenever it rained. He tells her these stories because she’s the great-grandchild who is most interested in lazy afternoons filled with idle conversation — who doesn’t care to try and impress him. He also tells her because she’s the youngest in the family and when he and his children and grandchildren are gone, she’ll be the last person left to tell their stories.

Just wow! I just realize now... that Soma and Erina has similarities when it comes to the topic of LOVE(see conversation with Asahi for reference), clearly they’re just freaking cooking otaku that want to be on the top/the best(both of them).

Like damn it -- what a realization for me LOL!.

I’ve been rewatching Shokugeki no Soma for awhile now because of lack of satisfaction(i guess) on the ending because they not even together at the end.

And now rewatching this OVA proves and confirm that the two cooking otaku(ErinaxSoma) are so focus on their goals as a Chef that they both don’t what anything else other than cooking.......

Buuuuuuuuuut~! you know what Joichiro said,

“Listen well, Soma, the secret to becoming a great chef is… meeting a woman that will make you want to give all the food you make to her…”

and that my friend will be the answer on how we will become a great Chef..
