when kirishima was younger, he got into the habit of not coming into close contact much with people, as he couldn't control his quirk well and didn't want to hurt people

when he got to ua, and managed it more and more, he slowly eased into being a bit more touchy - resting his head on a shoulder, putting his arm around someone

so he'd understand more how to ease you into pda, having gone through a similar process himself

very casual touches, slinging an arm around your shoulder, leaning on your shoulder

without you realizing, it became habitual between you too; they weren't necessarily romantic, but were just a part of your relationship

this, you realized, kind of eased you into more affectionate touches

would probably be more affectionate in private before doing it in public just so you feel safe and comfortable ^^

this lil birb will also wrap his wings around you during cuddle sessions !! how soft !!

first, he'd be concerned if you were uncomfortable about it; wings can be thick nd hot, or maybe the texture was itchy??

he made sure to groom those babies but you never know *shrug*

once you've established that you're not really used to cuddles/touching like that, he'll do small things at first

occasionally he'll go feral and attempt to scent you, but birb has good self-control

if you're okay with it.,.. he will definitely try to scent you though would definitely not at first (it's intense)

you flush. "n-not really," you confess.

"it's easy," he says. he leans into your touch, closing his eyes. "jus' let me love you like this, 'nd it'll be alright."

Anyways--

You and Shoji were best friends and he was sitting on your bed in your dorm, helping you make sure you had everything for your date

Just as he handed you your bag, your phone buzzed with a text message from your date

'Can't pick you up, maybe next time?'

Shoji could see the sparkles leave your eyes, worry spreading across his face in the form of his eyebrows knitting together

"Is everything alright, (Y/N)?" One of his many hands reached out for yours in a comforting gesture, linking your fingers. It flustered him a bit, but he was more concerned with comforting you than settling his own nerves

"They canceled.. I sent a text back but then they left me on read." Tears were flooding to your eyes with absolutely no warning, streaming down your cheeks without even realizing it.

Shoji sighed softly and set your bag and phone aside, pulling you to sit down right beside him on your bed.

He wrapped every arm he could around you, trapping you in a cave of comfort, warmth and love as he let you cry into his shirt.

"If they really deserved you, they wouldn't had canceled like that without reason.. I'm sorry, (Y/N)."

Although he wasnt the best at verbal comfort, his warm chest and 6 arms were more than enough comfort for the rest of the day as you sat there, bundled up in sweet Shoji love 🖤

Bakugo

It was a normal Sunday morning when Bakugo was walking through the common room, back to his bedroom after a shower

The last thing he expected was for someone to come running his way and slam immediately into him, knocking themselves back onto the floor and making Bakugo stumble a bit

"Hey, who the fuck do you think you are!? Watch where you're going!" Bakugo growled out, before even fully taking in the scene in front of him

Your bag was on the ground beside your phone, your outfit and hair looked stunning, and you were.. crying?

"Hey, don't cry, come on." In his brash Bakugo manner, his held his hand out for you to take and hoisted you up onto your feet once more.

"S-sorry, I shouldn't have been running.. I'm just gonna head to my room now." Your voice was cracked with sniffles mixed in, eyes puffy and red.

Before you could walk past him, Bakugo grabbed your wrist. "Are you even okay? You're crying like a little baby after you fell on your ass."

It was.. harsh, and rough around the edges, but there was a tone to it that showed he really did care as to if you were okay.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just.." Fresh tears welled up in your eyes. "My date just stood me up and I-I was really looking forward to it, ya know..? I thought they really liked me.." Your gaze fell to the floor as your voice quivered, small and embarrassed.

"Someone stood you up?"

His emphasis on 'you' made you look up to finally meet his eyes. "What do you mean..?"

Your question was hesitant, but genuine.

After Bakugolooked around to make sure it was just you two, he spoke gently. "You got all dressed up for this person, did your hair all nice and even matched all the colors of your clothes. You look amazing and have the personality to match. Who the fuck would stand you up?"

His sudden sweet compliment managed to bring some peace to your heart, and flushed your cheeks just a bit.

"You.. really mean that, Katsuki?" A faint smile took its place on your lips as you wiped your tears away with the backs of your hands.

"Yeah, I do mean that. And if that fuckin' loser extra isn't taking you out, then I'm going to. Meet me by the front doors in 10 minutes, I gotta get dressed. Can't have you showing me up with that outfit." And with that, Bakugo was headed off towards his dorm to get dressed, planning on taking you to the mall and to get icecream afterwards.

Tokoyami

Late night reading was one of Tokoyami's favorite hobbies, as he was never interrupted by his occasionally obnoxious classmates.

But, as 9 pm approached, there was a soft knock on his door.

When Tokoyami opened the door, he was heavily surprised when he took in the view of who was there.

You, his best friend, dressed up, with your hair done, and bloodshot eyes. Your cheeks were shiney with tears and you sniffled softly.

"Sorry to bother you, Fumi.. are you busy?"

Your voice, cracked and broken, made his heart ache with pain. He instantly stepped to the side and opened his door further as a silent welcome into his room.

"I'm never busy when it comes to you, (Y/N). What's wrong?" Once you were through the threshold of the door, he closed it behind you and pulled you close into a hug. He knew that whatever was wrong, you needed comfort.

"You know that person I was talking to? Well.. they asked me to go out to dinner with them a-and I sat there for 2 hours waiting.. and then when I went to text them to see what was up, I couldn't because t-they blocked me.."

Tokoyami was beyond shocked. "How could someone do that to you!?"

Dark Shadow was curled around your waist at this point, and that tiny comment was made by none other than him.

Tokoyami held your head to his chest and gently rubbed your back. "(Y/N), I am so, deeply sorry. You don't deserve that treatment.. they don't know what they missed out on. Anyone would be lucky to score a date with you."

Your arms wrapped around his waist and you pressed your face into his chest, breathing in his cologne. His smell, mixed with his words and deep voice, greatly helped to calm your sniffles and cries.

"Awe, Fumi.." Your hands threaded into the back of his shirt and you squeezed him tightly. "Thank you, that means a lot.. can I stay?"

With absolutely no hesitation, he nodded. "Of course, and we can do anything you'd like."

After a moment of quiet though, you looked up at him from his chest. "Read to me?"

And that's how, after being stood up, you ended the night by curling up with both Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, listening to the sweet bird man read you beautiful poetry.
