the girls are fighting! this was meant to be for fun and then i went insane locating parallels instead... which was also fun! despite jeremiah being my favourite character i also have a soft spot for selina - and their little similarities may be why, from their rocky relationship with bruce to their overindulgence in violence... even bruce's concern when they're both going over the deep end then at the end parallels between bruce/selina and ecco/jeremiah in their respective fights... rewatched the ecco and selina fight in particular and the amount of pet names threw me for a loop "curls", "puddin'", "delicious"!? I never considered them before but what a perfectly viable ship! there is yuri everywhere for those with the eyes to see /ref

Oh, my heart, my heart. Baby BatCat from Absolute Batman blew me out of the water. She's headstrong and heartfelt and has the whole tortured orphan thing. I think it's interesting how she's giving him the opposite advice from Alfred in this issue, and how her thoughts about freedom in the wilderness compared to the trap of captivity mirror Thomas' advice and Bruce's dilemma in this issue. I also love the colors and the cats and how her eyes look a tiny bit like Martha's. Batman AF!!!

Feeling guilty bc I got baby hooked on Gotham BatCat and they were like "☺️ every time they fight they end up back together,so I don't think there's going to be any hurt without comfort ☺️" how do I tell him that they don't end up together and they re-traumatize eachother LMAO
