What we are having is a farce in name of elections. This is by no means a free and fair elections.

Most of the opposition leaders including two CMs who could pull in crowds and influence voters are in jail. On the other hand, those close to RSS-BJP with rape charges even are either not arrested or are out on bail or on parole.

Modi has freezed bank accounts of Congress. Opposition already has significantly low bank balance than BJP owing to electoral bonds but now even what they have couldn't be utilised. It's not at all level playing field.

At many places opposition candidates are being forced or bribed to withdraw their nominations. Case in point, Amit Shah's constituency. It's well documented how multiple candidates were forced to withdraw from there. Surat and that other place are again blots.

For ages India has had a decent election with no overt rule breaking. Asking votes on religious lines is illegal but BJP has done this openly. There are tweets with "vote on Ram" etc from official handles. Modi has openly asked vote on Ram from his rallies. Election commission refuses to act.

Modi has also been openly divisive and given communal speeches. He has stooped to so low that even imagining as much was difficult years ago. Opposition has complained to election commission but spineless three who Modi himself appointed remain as cold and reaction-less as Modi was in that Karan Thapar interview after that glass of water.

Mr Modi has been blatantly lying in his speeches. Mangalsutra, buffalo, Muslims - vary many things have been attributed to Congress Manifesto. None of which exists in their Manifesto. But media has not once called out Mr Modi's speeches. His voters, most of who celebrate Ram, whose entire story is based on a life lived around ideals of truth, seem to care less. You then wonder about them. For example, his voters dislike Gandhi who all his life stressed on speaking truth and was a great devotee of Lord Ram. Modi's voters hate Gandhi. But they love Modi who keeps on lying as if it's not oxygen he lives on but lies. What's word for someone who's more than a habitual lier? Fraud? Even fraud feels like a good word compared to the amount of lying Mr Modi has done. And he does his politics in name of Ram. And somehow worshippers of Ram (or so these people claim) love Mr Modi. I fail to understand this hate of a true follower of Ram and love of a daylight fraud.

This election is not being fought between INDIA alliance and BJP. That's unfair comparison. It's between INDIA versus BJP plus media. If it was minus media then for opposition this would have been a cakewalk. There's ten years of anti-incumbency. That alone has routed govts in past. Plus, just think of the catastrophe if media went after Modi govt like it did with UPA 2. Unlike in 2G, in electoral bonds, there's clear quid pro quo. There's Brijbhushan, Sengar, Ram Rahim, Baba Ramdev, Revanna and others that Modi has shielded. Mr Modi's 2ab, doland, strenhh, radar clouds, gutter gas and umpteen stupid comments - these are real and not out of context clipped bites like Rahul's potato one. Media has created Modi's image. Again a fraud. If Modi gave a single interview to say, Ravish Kumar, forget Karan Thapar - what do you think would happen?

Baba Ram Rahim Rape Case: Roads in Panchkula band ahead of verdict

The latest national news is coming from Panchkula where all transport movement has been restricted near Panchkula court ahead of Baba Ram Rahim rape case verdict.

All the traffic would be banned for two days -24 August & 25 August to ensure no ruckus takes place near the Haryana's Panchkula district court complex where the verdict on Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s rape case.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Panchkula Ashok Kumar confirmed, "The police and the administration of Panchkula have imposed a complete ban on 24 and 25 August on the movement of vehicles on five roads adjoining the court complex," 

“The step has been taken in view of the verdict in a case concerning Rahim on 25 August,” he added.

The special CBI court will pass its judgment on the rape case on 25th August and has summoned the presence of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Baba Gurmeet Singh Ram Rahim.

The DCP ensured that there are strict arrangements made to ensure smooth flow of traffic and maintain law and order in the area.

The roads adjoining the district court will be remained closed for next two days. Including the dividing road of Sector 1 & Sector 2 in Panchkula, said the DCP.

Additionally, the dividing road of Sector 1 & sector 6, which connects old Panchkula to Tank Chowk traffic lights under the flyover will also remain closed, the DCP added.

Gauri Parashar Joshi, the Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula has also directed the managers of government & private guests houses not to take any new reservation without proper police verification,

There are also two control rooms being set as the administration fear an emergent situation.

Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) of Sirsa Bijender Singh has also requested all to maintain peace and help the authorities.

"In case of any information about the anti-social elements, they (the peace committees) will immediately inform the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) of Sirsa," Singh said.

Even though we have opened up as a society, for girls taking up all kinds of roles. In some places, Girls still do not get the same status as boys. Some less fortunate ones are killed before they are born. But it these headlines of rapes and murder, with the souls, who just inhabited the planet, hurt the most. With anger within everyone, one simply feels those inflicting these barbaric acts on children should be hanged. But sadly; our governments are taking too much time to wake up. Rape after rape, this has become a common crime so much so that these victims are visible on numerous lists, for rehabilitation as a regular victim.

It is a matter of shame that the culprits are sometimes, as close as a father, or even a grandfather. When an older man thinks in this sense of a young girl, is he less than Satan? No definitely not, he deserves the same treatment as a Satan would. What we do not understand though, is these Satsangs are created within our confinements. These are part of our system, somebody’s son, father, etc.

So where have we gone wrong? The biggest culprit what is generally seen is every culprit is associated with alcohol consumption somewhere or the other. You will read that the person was drunk and under the influence, he meted out this treatment or raped a woman. As Baba Ram Rahim Ji too, often says, “Sharaab nark ki naani” means Alcohol is a doorway to hell and which he describes as under the effect of this naani, people perform evils one after the other. First, they will steal for money, then use foul language, lose control, rape, even murder people for money. So all intoxicants are the root cause of this grave evil. It’s high time these intoxicants are banned from every city, state, and neighborhood. If we are really serious about our future and our daughters, we need to give up to this temptation of taste, standard even lucrative taxes and money that comes with this.

Are we Serious Enough?

But here is the catch, the Governments don’t want to let go off this huge money minting segment and the exploitation continues. Masses suffer, as these daughters do not belong to any politician or leader. The day society wakes up the root cause and takes efforts in the right direction, that day our daughters will be safe. In fact, Baba Ram Rahim Ji himself took charge in the eradication of intoxicants and alcohol through awareness rallies and making the masses aware of this in Satsangs. In spite of receiving threat calls from mafias and powerful goons against the same, he motivated lacs to quit these doorways to hell and made life heaven for them.

So In essence, strict punishment for culprits along with banning intoxicants can do wonders for our daughters and our system can see itself getting a fresh lease of life.

Sedition Charges Against Honeypreet Insan Over Panchkula Violence Dropped

The court of Shri Sanjay Sandhir, LD. ASJ, Panchkula after hearing the arguments of the counsels Shri Tanveer Ahmed Mir and Shri Dhruv Gupta appearing for the accused Honeypreet @Priyanka Taneja has discharged the accused for the offences punishable under section 121 and 121A IPC. 

The case FIR bearing No. 345/2017 was registered on 27.08.2017 by Central bureau of investigation for the incidents of violence reported in and around Panchkula after the conviction of Baba Ram Rahim by Panchkula CBI court on 25.08.2017. The case is also famously referred as Panchkula carnage case.

Honeypreet, Aditya Insan and Pawan Insan were booked by the police on charges of sedition, inciting violence and being involved in a conspiracy to help the Dera chief escape after his conviction by a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on August 25, 2017, on two counts of rape of female disciples in 1999. Ram Rahim has been sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of over Rs 30 lakh. His rape conviction led to violence in Panchkula and Sirsa towns in Haryana that left 38 people dead and 264 injured. Isolated incidents of violence were also reported from Delhi and several places in Punjab.

The CBI had chargesheeted Honeypreet as well for conspiracy to wage war against the government of India punishable under section 121 and 121A IPC.  Honeypreet and another accused Sukhwinder Kaur, who are lodged in Ambala jail, appeared for the hearing through video-conference, while the other accused appeared in the court in person.  The court has fixed November 6 as the next date of hearing.
