evan would never understand why barty wanted to be around him so often, but who was he to complain? barty slipped into bed with him every night to make sure he knew he was never alone, he would protect him from snape or avery or mulciber, and would practically burn the great hall to the ground whenever evan ended up in the hospital wing.

so you can imagine how barty felt the moment that dreaded flash of green passed by his eyes. the moment the love of his life fell lifeless in his arms. the moment his world came screeching to a halt and everything he had grown to be shattered inside him.

barty died with evan, and the shell of his soul roamed the earth to avenge him until the day the dementors turned him to dust.

i need to hear more about lucius and pandora. you are insane for coming up with this ship. it's amazing. did they ever actually date or was it just mutual obssession that never evolved in anything more, but they both knew and never got over it? did it affect his relationship with narcissa? did he see pandora in cissa?

okay i’ll take this as permission to yap because!! they’re always in my brain. i see the ludora thesis as: two characters who are entirely different, but who are both utterly convinced they’re Smarter Than Everyone Else Around Them. what conflict stems from that? what connection?

it was always just mutual obsession. sneaking around at the very most, but nothing publicly Real. to me, they end up married to narcissa & xeno respectively because narcissa & xeno are like… the socially acceptable versions of each other?

in my head xeno is a lot older than pandora (7-10 years), and he’s very kind, but too absentminded to be an attentive husband, and she likes him for a lot of reasons. but she’s also subconsciously like… Maybe this could resemble lu if i squint. meanwhile lucius has convinced himself that his rich lesbian wife is everything he’s ever wanted (she actually Obeys him!! unlike pan!!!) & it only takes him 3 years to realize he fucking hates this. they both got Exactly what they said they wanted, which is the opposite of each other. because they can’t stand each other. but they’re miserable.

like…. lucius should have been pandora’s ornery stay-at-home trophy husband she drags on expeditions for rare potion ingredients. they’re an Adventure Couple™️. him with his head wrapped in a mosquito net in a jungle wearing designer shoes, bitching at his beautiful wife at the top of his LUNGS, swinging a machete at vines (<- guy who has never been happier) (he is shouting: DO NOT TEST ME, WOMAN!!!!!, she is shouting: you are such AN INFANT !!!!!!!!, and they’re aggressively making out against a tree)

you have to imagine lucius at a posh ministry function being sooo smug about it too. he’s like “Ah yes, my wife, THE PROFESSOR, is publishing a book on MANDRAKES this month, arent you, darling?” while pandora is soooo thrilled to have a captive audience to subject to her rants about her publications. completely insufferable couple. united by thinking they’re better than everyone else (except? they are? i think they maybe actually are.)

+ remind yourself that this ship could ultimately result in Draco & Luna being brother and sister. so perfect. except none of this ever happened because they never let themselves be together.

tracey is the only non-pure blood in the group, she’s a halfblood

her dad was a muggleborn while her mother was a halfblood

millicent’s family was neutral in the war

blaise’s family is from italy, and didn’t care much about british politics and their war

theodore’s family was full of pure blood supremacists and death eaters

but theo hated his father, and his mother was dead

so instead of believing what he was raised to believe, theo rebelled against it all

blaise is non-binary and uses he/they pronouns

theo is tall and lanky, and is a total book worn

millicent will beat a bitch up if they talk smack about one of the friends

tracey explaining muggle things to her friends

theo not caring about his schoolwork, instead focusing on things like ancient runes and warding spells

theo doesn’t speak much, but after several years of therapy, he can finally talk to blaise and tracey sometimes

millicent’s cat stays with them

tracey learns how to use her wand with her non dominant hand, but she knows it’ll never be the same

blaise never gets their hearing back, and hates not knowing what’s around them

they sleep with a light on and a knife under their pillow

eventually, tracey moves out to go to college

blaise and theo get married a few years later

they’re traumatized, but they all love each other, even when they grow apart

they each get a tattoo of millicent’s birth day

i wonder if kid ever got his music taste from justin. like it’s a thought but it haunts me sometimes while i read the manga & see scenes between them (esp their scene’s while kid’s with noah and by proxy with justin)

bc kid most likely knows all the death scythes thanks to his dad and all of them probably met kid. who’s to say justin didn’t visit from the europe branch and run into a tiny child death the kid and decide to let him listen in. who’s to say justin didn’t influence kid’s sassiness? his chill and laidback attitude? he certainly didn’t get much of that from his upbeat cheerful papa death and justin is plenty parts sassy and chill

and what if the sound of kid’s laughter was music to justin’s ears and he’d take out his earbuds to hear it because that little boy he’s watched (from slightly afar) grow into a silly pre-teen is happy. what if they’ve talked about artists they like and justin introduced kid to all kinds of music?

how much would it hurt then, for kid to see justin while he’s held captive and see this warped twisted version of the man he used to know? to see justin not only turn his eye to gopher’s beatings but laugh and mock him? to have THAT what gets his earbuds off now because this version of justin is just /that/ fucked up?

though its a headcanon, it haunts me bc of the angst potential it has
